Transcript

A bipartisan agreement has been reached that will reportedly protect the Second Amendment rights of veterans from the tyrannical actions of the VA. And for all of the veterans out there that watch my videos, y’all should pay attention to this one, please. This will be good for you if it works out. Before I jump into that, I want to thank the sponsor of today’s video and that’s mechanic, Superstore.

Whether you’re a shade tree mechanic that likes to tinker with your own toys or a full blown mechanic who does it professionally for a living, the mechanic, Superstore, has scissor lifts, two post lifts, and four post lifts to make your life easier. That’s right, y’all, get off your backs, get off your crawler, and work standing up. Their lifts also work well for storing cars. In one day, if I’m ever able to build my dream garage, I will be able to have at least a couple of cool cars because you can store them on these lifts as well.

Drive it on the lift, raise one up, drive another one under, and boom. Bob’s your uncle. Check them out. Link is down below. Thanks to Mechanics Superstore for being a sponsor of today’s video, guys. My name is Jared. This is Guns and Gadgets, the premier source for Second Amendment news. You want to stay in the loop, all you have to do is smash that subscribe button down below.

Let’s get into this one. So Senators John Kennedy, who’s a Republican, and Chuck Schumer, who is a Democrat. That’s putting it nicely. They have worked out a deal on a bill to protect veterans’gun rights. Now, at issue was Senator Kennedy’s proposed amendment that would allow military veterans who have to enter a conservatorship the ability to keep their guns. Kennedy’s amendment was proposed as part of the Senate’s minibus appropriations bill that would fund the departments of Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, veteran affairs and Agriculture.

Now, Senator Kennedy met with Senator Schumer on Thursday, and the two appeared to have come to an agreement. And if this agreement does go through, it could be huge because it would protect veterans across this nation from having the Veteran Affairs, the Department of Veteran Affairs, who’s supposed to be there for the veterans, help them out. What would stop them from removing the Second Amendment rights of these veterans? By making them prohibited persons simply because they need assistance with finances or have a physical disability? Yeah, they are able to defend themselves, too, and they have that right.

Now, let’s face it, veterans aren’t going to use VA services if using those VA services put their Second Amendment rights in danger. People who think their rights are in the crosshairs if they use that particular service will simply choose to not get the help they need by using that service. And that is not what the VA is for. But it’s time for us to fix the problem. So I will keep you in the know.

Like I said, they came to this agreement at some point Thursday night. And we’ll see what happens here at the beginning of this week with this omnibus spending bill. I will keep you in the know, especially if you’re a veteran. You’re gonna wanna subscribe to this channel down below to stay in the loop like the video and share it. Hit that bell. I appreciate each and every single one of you.

I will see you on the next one. Take care, Sam. .
