Summary

➡ JailBreak Overlander spends a lot of time alone in remote places where many people have gone missing, which is why he’s interested in these cases. He talks about two strange missing persons cases where the people were never found. One case is about a man named Terrence Woods who was filming with his crew in a remote location when he suddenly ran off and was never seen again. The other case is about a woman named Connie Johnson who disappeared from a hunting camp on the same day as Terrence, in a location not far from where he disappeared.
➡ Connie Johnson, an experienced wilderness ranger, and her dog Ace disappeared mysteriously, with no clues found despite extensive searches. On the same day, 28 miles away, Terrence Woods also vanished without a trace. Both cases are puzzling due to their proximity and timing, and despite differences in their outdoor experience. Connie’s dog returned after 15 days, but didn’t lead rescuers to her, adding to the mystery.

So recently I did a video on the missing four one one series, and a lot of people asked me why I was covering this when somebody else was already covering these topics. Well, I have an ulterior motive. I spend eight to nine months out of the year in incredibly remote locations by myself, filming things like you’re seeing right here. This is all my footage every time I’m alone.

Most times, no one knows where I’m at. And oftentimes, these are locations where an unusual amount of people go missing. So this topic is near and dear to my heart. In this video, we’re going to cover a couple of missing persons cases that just don’t make any sense whatsoever at all. And I felt inclined to shine a light back on them because the people missing have never been found.

This is going to be a good video. So you’re going to want to sit back, you’re going to want to relax, and you’re most definitely going to want to check this out. It’s before we get started, I’m going to ask you to hit that subscribe button as well as the little bell right next to it. So you’re notified of all new videos. Here we go. So, in the last ten years, I have found myself in some of the craziest places by choice.

Like, for instance, the gateway to hell in two guns, Arizona. A video that I did a year ago. This place was absolutely crazy. It was in the middle of nowhere. Nobody would even know you were there. And it’s the gateway to hell. According to the legend and the story behind it, the amount of people that were murdered here is insane. And it was brutal. And not only is it an incredibly strange place on the surface, it’s also underground.

Actually, most of the story is underground, and that’s where I went. Now, I do carry a locator beacon, but chances are, if something happens to me, it is what it is, I accept it. But I’ve ran into a lot of people over the years who have had people, family members, loved ones, et cetera, that had gone hiking or had gone on a day trip and simply disappeared, never to be found again.

That’s what gets me. Lots of people can disappear in the wilderness. It’s easy enough. You’ve got wild animals, you’ve got cracks, crevices, fissures, caves, et cetera. But to never be found again, especially in a really short amount of time, is insane. And this story is even more insane because of the proximity of the two people I’m going to talk about. And the time it’s wild. And there’s a lot of discrepancies, and I’m going to try to hammer those out in this particular video.

So you’re gonna wanna see this. Here we go. This story starts in northern Idaho, a place called the Penman mine. The penman mine was an abandoned gold and silver mine, and a camera crew was up there filming for the Discovery Channel. And while they were filming this happened, 27 year old Terrence woods of Maryland was reported missing. He was filming in the or grand area and got separated from his film crew up in northern Idaho.

The Idaho county sheriff’s office says that woods was last seen near the Penman mine. Well, that’s a weird way to say it, that he was separated from his film crew, because the actual story is he was standing right there with his film crew when he suddenly ran to the edge of a downhill and straight ran down a mountain, apparently like a quote unquote hare. His coworkers tried to catch up to him, but he just completely took off straight down a mountain, never to be seen again.

This story is strange for obvious reasons, but there’s a lot of discrepancies from what the people that were there when he, quote unquote, disappeared reported, and what his parents, specifically his father, was reporting on the other side. So let’s get down to brass text. Woods was 27 when he went missing on the 5 October in 2018. Woods cut his teeth in the TV industry in the UK, where he lived for five years, and he was known as a completely reliable and intelligent man, according to friends.

And he did a lot of high profile British shows, including ITV’s the Voice UK and BBC’s Ones Saving Africa’s Elephants. His work took him all over the world, and family and friends talk about him as being a kind and loving man who showed no signs that he was capable of what was to come. A lot of other channels have already covered this particular missing person case, so I’m not going to get into the minutiae of it, but there’s some clear discrepancies and it’s just such a strange case, I had to talk about it.

According to the film crew, Terrence was well liked, he was given all the support that he needed, blah, blah, blah. But according to the text that Terrence was sending to his father, that was completely the opposite. He was getting texts from Terrence saying that the film crew was already a tight group and they were treating him unfairly, etc. And it was bumming him out. Now get out. Go to work.

Put on my smile everything I hate everything I hate, but everything is not I. But I gotta keep going. I want to find the truth out. Terrence Woods Jr. Graduated from college with a journalism degree and was off to a great start in his career when he landed his dream job working in production on Discovery’s gold rush. In 2018, he dropped Terrence off at the airport. He flew into Montana to begin this job.

When was the last time that you heard from your son? It was about two something in the morning. He called me, and he was like, dad, what you have to do? I said, man, I got to go to work. He said he was all right. I said, all right, I’ll call you later when I get off of work. And he said, get it? I guess. He said, I’m normal.

And that was it. At this point, production had traveled from Montana to Idaho. Then I received a text saying that he was coming home early. And that was the last text or anything. I don’t know if it came from him or not. Terrence’s grandfather says it was unusual for him to cut a work trip short. So I couldn’t understand, why is he coming back this early? Because Terrence had gone on a lot of trips in London for about five years.

That just didn’t sound right. A woman helping the crew reportedly claims Terrence went to use the bathroom and literally just ran away down a cliff into the forest, never to be seen again. According to Terrence Sr. Crew members claimed Terrence was having an anxiety attack and was acting strange right before he allegedly ran off. But Raw TV tells us they are not aware of any such claims. Show me professional medical paperwork since you all got him help, since he’s at work.

Yeah. You’re watching this so called meltdown. Then finally, the icing on a cake. He leaps off a cliff and runs like a hair, never to be found again, into the darkness without a trace or a piece of fabric or nothing. Footprints, nothing. So there you have it. The film crew claims that Terrence was acting strangely and they were being more than accommodating to him. And when he dropped his radio and ran down the cliff face, they followed him but could never find him again.

No clothing, no blood, no nothing. Now, this guy had no supplies. He ran down there in whatever he was wearing to work that day, never to be seen again. And that is crazy. The associate producer on the set told some of the crew to jump into the van and go down to the road below because where Terrence was running intersected with a road down below. They went down there and found absolutely no trace of him.

At all. Nothing. The family, on the other hand, believes that something sinister happened. I find that tough to believe. I think something crazy is going on, but I find that tough to believe that eleven people would conspire to get rid of one guy completely and totally. But that’s the story. It’s insane. And now, like I said, there’s a lot of channels that have covered this ad nauseam over the years and I’ll leave links in the description box below to them.

But other than the fact that this guy just decided to run down a cliff to a road down below, mind you, the cliff led to a road that the crew drove a van down looking for him and found absolutely no trace of him whatsoever at all. That’s not even the craziest part. The craziest part that is in the same neck of the woods 28 miles away on the same day another person went missing just as mysteriously.

Of a missing woman who vanished in Idaho county two Fridays ago says none of her disappearance makes sense. Connie Johnson was a cook at a hunting camp and the search continues in the backcountry. The air Force has flown the area using flur cameras and six dog teams. Ground crews have also searched, but no signs of Connie or her dog ace have been found. Some pilgrim in their first rodeo.

This is a woman who has spent literally the last 25 years of her life, most of them on foot in the wilderness alone, doing her wilderness ranger work. And Johnson has now been missing for a week. And again, crews still have not found any leads or clues into her or her dog’s disappearance. So again, this story has been covered ad nauseam by other channels and other social media outlets.

So I’m not going to get into the minutiae of it, but these two are inexplicably tied together because by other channels, their claim that they were both reported missing the same day, and I have a little bit of an issue with that because the last time anybody heard from Connie was on October 3. When they returned to the camp, they reported her missing, which was the fifth. But those two days aside, it’s still incredibly crazy that they both went missing without a trace, never to be seen again whatsoever at all within a 28 miles area of each other.

Now there’s a larger channel that covers many missing cases and they have somehow tied a third person to this mix, but it’s separated by 50 years, so it’s just a stretch. And sadly, this person has commercialized this entire genre for monetary gain. We’ll call it. I’m just going to leave it at that somebody disappearing and then 50 years later, somebody disappearing in an incredibly heavily wooded area isn’t a mystery.

Somebody disappearing or being reported missing on the same day 28 miles away, inexplicably, that is a mystery. Now, with that being said, let’s get back to Connie. She was a former forest ranger in the exact area she went missing in, and she was retired from that posting, but she was working as a cook for a place called, oddly enough, Richie’s outdoor adventures or something to that effect. And the guys all go out, they take the people out on the hunts, and the last time they heard from her was a very mysterious and unintelligible radio transmission on October 3.

Now, she was officially reported missing on October 5, which puts her on the exact same day, 28 miles away from Terrence woods. Both of them just went missing without a trace. And in Connie’s case, unlike Terrence, she was a ranger. She knew the outdoors. She knew this place. She wouldn’t get lost, et cetera, et cetera. And the fact that she had a border collie, a very smart dog, with her, it’s just hard to imagine that she was taken by a wildlife or anything like that, because the dog eventually did show up.

And when they tried to get the dog to lead them to where she was, the dog refused, which is very unusual, because border collies are an amazing dog. On both of these cases, all of the usual search and rescue efforts were put forth with no results whatsoever at all. They found no evidence of either one of these people at all. Now, these are both very different cases, but they’re, again, inexplicably tied together because of the proximity and because of the time.

Connie was an experienced outdoors person and Terrence was not. But neither one of them were ever heard from at all again, except for Connie’s dog, and I already explained that to you. So what could have happened to these people? It’s incredibly difficult to mean. It’s impossible to tell. You’ve got conflicting stories from the camera crew of Terrence and the family of Terrence, who are dead set. They recently did an interview about a month ago where they’re positive that something sinister occurred.

Show me professional medical paperwork since you all got him help, since he’s at work. Yeah. You’re watching this so called meltdown. Then finally, the icing on a cake. He leaps off a cliff and runs like a hair, never to be found again into the darkness without a trace or a piece of fabric or nothing. Footprints, nothing. I can understand the suspicion that Terrence’s parents have, but it doesn’t help us.

The only people that know what happened are the people that were there, and they’re saying a completely different story. The fact that this guy ran down a cliff face unharmed, according to the reports, didn’t stumble, didn’t trip, didn’t cut his knee open, nothing. Apparently he was an amazing athlete to run down a cliff face that led to a road that the news crew was directed to go down with the van and check to find him, check on his well being.

Search and rescue comes in, everybody looks for him. They don’t find a crumb, not a trace. He just vanished into thin air. Meanwhile, 28 miles away, the same thing’s happening to Connie Johnson. But she’s got a dog with her now. The dog to me plays a huge part because the dog, especially a border collie, are incredibly protective. The dog was missing for 15 days and finally came back.

And when the dog came back, they said the dog looked fine. It didn’t looked undernourished, it didn’t look dehydrated, it wasn’t scarred up, but it refused to lead them back to Connie, which is very unusual, in my opinion. So what exactly happened? I don’t know, which is why it ended up in this video. At any rate, if you enjoyed this video and you want to see a part three to this, let me know in the comment section below.
