Summary

➡ Dr. Steve Turley talks about how The House Republicans have impeached Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security, for not doing his job at the southern border. This impeachment is significant because it holds a government official accountable and shows that the Republicans are listening to their voters’ concerns about the border. Meanwhile, Texas is taking matters into its own hands by building more of the border wall. This shows that states can take action on their own, without waiting for the federal government.

We’re going to see how the House is actually holding the line against that ridiculous and reckless foreign aid spending bill that was just passed in the Senate.

com. And together, we’re going to protect and defend election integrity this coming November. Click on that link below right now. It was a historic vote. It’s the first time in U. S. History that a sitting cabinet secretary has been impeached. The two articles of impeachment accused Maiorchus of willfully refusing to enforce immigration laws and lying to Congress, claiming that the border was secure when the entire nation could clearly see otherwise.

In his official statement in the Maiorcus impeachment, Speaker Mike Johnson said, quote, for nearly a year, the House Homeland Security Committee has taken a careful and methodical approach to this investigation, and the results are clear. From his first day in office, Secretary Maiorcas has willfully and consistently refused to comply with federal immigration laws, fueling the worst border catastrophe in american history. Now, of course, we’re under no illusions that this impeachment is going to go anywhere in our aloof House of Lords Senate, right, that consistently does the biding of the swamp, the DC oligarchy.

But I think this impeachment was important for two reasons. First and foremost, it’s an act of holding a sitting cabinet secretary accountable. And that’s hugely important because scholars have recognized that one of the key characteristics of a genuinely authoritarian regime is the complete lack of accountability among its leaders. When there are no checks and balances, when leaders are no longer accountable for their actions, then you, by definition, have an authoritarian government.

So I think this impeachment was an important affirmation of the integrity of our republic, at least when it comes to Congress. But secondly, given how utterly disappointing the GOP as a party has become, I think it was very important for the Republicans to finally deliver the goods to their voters again. It’s a party that just consistently shoots itself in the foot, whether it’s in the form of expelling George Santos only to go on and lose his seat like they did last night, or for the entire party to vote to impeach Majorcas, only to have three republicans turn around and oppose it and effectively sink the impeachment like they did last.

Just, it’s a party that just simply never fails to stab their own voters in the back. They never fail to betray their own constituents. And so I think this impeachment was a very important message to republican voters that we hear you. We share your frustrations at the southern border, and we’re going to vote to represent you and your interests and not the interests of some aloof ruling establishment.

And it looks like they’re doing the same when it comes to that horrific monstrosity of a bill passed by the Senate. It’s one of the most maddening bills imaginable. It’s sending a near $100 billion of foreign aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. Over 60 billion alone is going to that corrupt tyranical hellhole otherwise known as Ukraine. $100 billion. Our own border is a mess. Fentanyl is poisoning and filling up our morgues across the country.

Our cities are literally surpassing Mogadishu and societal breakdown. Violent crime is skyrocketing. And the oligarchs in the US Senate got nothing better to do than to send your money, not theirs, your money, to oligarchs overseas. And 17 republican senators voted for it. It’s literally nauseating. They care more about borders of nations 10,000 miles away than. No, they care more about their own getting rich. The good news is, it looks like the bill is DOA.

At the House Speaker Mike Johnson is publicly stating that the bill’s not even going to come up for a vote. He really does, at least at this point, look like he’s holding the line on behalf of patriots. And that’s most likely because he’s hearing directly from you. His phone is ring off the hook from grassroots patriots telling him, under no circumstances are you to even think about bringing this Senate travesty to a vote.

Our borders matter to us more than their borders. Our borders matter more than theirs. And that brings us to what’s happening in Texas. The New York Post just published this the other day. Texas is actually on track to building more border wall than Trump did. Texas has added upwards of 200 miles of border wall, razor wire and fencing across their border, in addition to the wall constructed under Trump’s administration.

Here’s Texas Governor Greg Abbot. We either have already built or have under construction more border wall than what the Trump administration was able to put up. We are building these razor wire barriers with national guards standing behind them, preventing illegal entry. And we will be passing this law to arrest illegal immigrants coming into the state of Texas. And so we as a state, continue to deploy more action, fighting back against the Biden administration’s open border policies, doing everything we can to prevent illegal entry into our country.

And he’s doing it. I mean, the guy’s doing it. Texas forces are doing it. There’s been a dramatic reduction in illegal border crossings since Texas implemented Operation Lone Star some months back. In 2021, 70% of illegal immigrant arrests occurred at the southern border in Texas. Today, that number is more than halved. It’s dropped to just 34%. And let me tell you what Texas is doing here, gang. They’re doing far more than just securing the border.

Texas Republicans are leading the way in recovering state sovereignty and citizen political control. As we see the rod of dysfunctionality in DC and blue states more and more imploding under their own woke lunatic ideologies, citizen activists in red states like Texas are rising up and leading the way in restoring the political integrity of our republic in the midst of so much liberal rot. It’s a big country. We don’t have to wait for establishment Republicans in DC to get on board with us.

We can take matters into our own hands locally through county statewide activism to hold our local and state leaders accountable, to represent and enact our values at the state level. That’s exactly what Governor Abbot is doing and is exactly what a number of other red state governors are doing. They’re banding together to stand up for red state values and together we’re going to move forward in the societal renewal of faith, family and freedom.

Regardless of whether the Dolts in DC want to join us. .
