Summary

➡ The text discusses the challenges and pitfalls that often accompany success. It emphasizes that early life decisions can resurface later on, especially in the age of social media, and can harm a person’s reputation and prosperity. It also warns about the inevitable character tests that come with increased visibility and resources, with friends, family, and strangers alike potentially seeking to take advantage. Furthermore, it urges caution when dreaming of wealth and fame, as these can lead to difficult transitions and unresolvable issues such as dealing with the changing behaviors of loved ones due to access to wealth and fame. Many people fall from grace not due to their own mistakes but because of the actions of their surrounding circle, including their children. The text advises to carefully consider the real consequences of success, beyond just acquiring wealth, as it will test everyone involved in your life.
➡ Fame and wealth bring complexities, such as lawsuits and unending public scrutiny, evident in situations like the struggles faced by actor Jonathan Majors and others. The responsibility that accompanies fame is greatly underestimated and is needed to be comprehended through real-life examples.

I see a lot of people on a regular basis fumble in the bag. And let me tell you why. Let me tell you how I see this, okay? And the reason why this makes so much sense for me to have this conversation with you right now. It’s a lot of people that’s out here in these streets and you, they are becoming incredibly successful flat out. There is no other way around it.

They’re becoming incredibly successful. It’s a lot of people out on these streets that’s becoming incredibly successful. And you’re becoming successful earlier than ever, meaning that the gap between the haves and the have nots is huge. It’s massive. Now let me tell you what comes along with that, because a lot of people are praying for success. You’re praying for money. You’re working your butt off. You’re going to get to the bag and all of that other type of stuff.

But what comes along with that is the thing that you’re not communicated with. Right. First, the decisions that you make early in your life will come back to haunt you. Right. Meaning that if you find yourself in a situation where you were doing something that you wasn’t supposed to do, it’s a strong possibility that can become uncovered, because we don’t live in the spaces that we used to live in.

We’re not existing in societies to where social media doesn’t exist or this doesn’t exist or that doesn’t exist. Right. So as you take your journey and as you out here partying in a visa, or you decided that you wanted to jump on TikTok and express how much you hate somebody specifically, or you decided that you wanted to go out here and commit a felony or do all of this other type of stuff, or maybe you even took out a PPP loan, right.

Once you become incredibly successful, what I’m seeing from people a lot of times is that at the time that they’re at the apex of their greatness, that very thing comes back to bite them. Now, on the flip side of that, you also have to take into consideration a couple of other things, right. And we don’t discuss this throughout the show because I have a theme in the show.

A couple of other things that you want to take into consideration is once you become successful, that’s when the real test comes. Once you become successful, that’s when the real test comes. What you see happening from the diddies and from all of these people that get famous and even the Jonathan majors and stuff like that, it’s not a test of whether or not they could get rich because they have the business acumen, they have the talent, they have all of these things, right? But what you see happening is every decision is amplified once you get visibility or once you get money.

Trust me, we’re going to go through it today. I have several different examples of why it makes sense for us to have this conversation today during this particular show, because it is a theme, right? And so the real test comes once you become successful, when you get resources, because it’s very easy for a person that doesn’t have resources or have access to some of the things that other people have access to to stay focused.

You go to your job, you have structure. They give you 40 hours. This is the amount of rate that you need to hit. These are the amount of calls that you have to make. This is your job. Take care of business. And so it’s easy for people that don’t have access to resources or have access to do certain things to stay on top of whatever it is that they’re supposed to do, because your life is very structured.

You go to church on Sunday, you go to work on Monday through Friday. You come home, your kid, go to school, so on and so forth, right? And so you don’t really have to worry about all of the stuff that come along with it. And when I talk to guys or I have conversations with people, a lot of times what I find is that it’s the men that have the resources that get tested the most.

It’s the women that have the access and the resources that get tested the most. So when you start to get something or you get some success, because remember, once you become successful, it’s very hard to go back in several different ways. Number one, let’s say, for example, you become famous or you become successful or whatever like that, and everybody has visibility into your life, and then you become unfamous, or you just have it as a blip on your radar and you want to go back and you work a regular job, it’s very difficult to transition back into that because a, you can’t unsee what you saw, and then b, let’s say you a former NBA player, what you gonna go and work at, huh? Everybody, not a hustler, everybody can’t sustain it.

What if you’re a former NFL player? What you gonna go and work at the car dealership? You can, but it’s going to take a sense of hit to your pride. But then on top of that, when you get resources, you then become food, you become a target. The minute that people find out that you got money. Everybody around you is trying to figure out how to get some of it.

They trying to figure out how to get on the team, how to get on the payroll, how to get close to you. Women are trying to figure out how they can finesse you, get pregnant by you somehow, some way they can figure out how to sue you. You always going to have people coming out of the woodwork in order to get paid. It’s going to be people that’s trying to throw you under the bus.

You’re going to have a test of character, the more visibility that you get. Because then everybody is going to come out the woodwork and everybody going to want something from you. You know why? Because everybody want what you got. More importantly, let’s say for example, you able to forego or withstand all of that other type of stuff that happens, right? Because the reason why I’m having this conversation with you guys is because I want you to be very careful what you pray for.

Stop praying for money, stop praying for success. You’re going to have an unlimited amount of box that’s being thrown at you every single day. You’re going to make the adjustment. You’re going to have a girl that’s next to you that they may not be necessarily used to whatever it is that you got going on, or they may not necessarily be used to money. And she may be wanting the fame that goes along with it.

Next thing you know, she might be changing. She might be evolving because she now have access to avenues and fame and money and resources. She might crash out. I see so many people on a regular basis, both visibly and personally crash the heck out. I see so many people crash out. Money changes you. Resources change you. Everything change you. But can you remain humble that goes along with it? Can you then start making smart decisions or is it going to come back to haunt you? Most people have a glorious fall that ultimately get resources because of.

Sometimes it’s not even self inflicted. Sometimes it’s just based off of the people that surround you. It can happen in any circumstance. You’ve seen Hunter Biden. Are you prepared for your kids to have access to resources, but they don’t necessarily know how to handle it? These are the conversations that we need to be having, but we don’t have because we’re so focused on just getting rich, but we don’t really understand the consequences or the circumstances that come along with it.

Most people have multiple different kids. Chances are one of those kids is going to crash the hell out because you have resources and things, and they can’t handle the success that comes along with it. Hunter Biden was drunk off the success of his father. Now Joe Biden’s undoing and upcoming impeachment inquiry is directly tied to Hunter Biden. You want your kids to have all of the best and all of this other type of stuff.

What you gonna do when they crash out? Because they not used to what success looks like either. You so bad. You so badly want to be a part of the in crowd. You want your kid to be so popular. You want all of this different stuff to happen to you. Are you prepared for how that’s going to change? Because a lot of people think that generational wealth is the only thing that matters.

No. It’s going to test your character. It’s going to test you. It’s going to test your daughter. It’s going to test your son. It’s going to test your family. It’s going to test everybody around you. Your friends, your parents. Every single thing that you’ve ever done in your lifetime, it’s going to be uncovered. People are going to want to do you dirty. They’re going to want to make a name off of you.

Somebody going to want to sue you, some shit, going to want to have a threesome with you. And you can’t turn it off. You cannot turn it off. You can’t go into hiding. You can’t go. There’s people that haven’t been famous for a long time, but the very minute that they name pop up, everybody going to pop out of the woodwork, and they’re going to want a piece of them.

I’m telling you, Jonathan Majors was not Jonathan majors until he started appearing in Creed, Ant Man, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Loki, all of this stuff. And now he’s fighting for his freedom and his career, the very thing that he worked hard for his entire life. And this happens more often than you ever could ever could believe. Today I’m going to have a conversation, and I’m going to give you some examples.

I’m going to show you a former Miss America. I’m going to show you somebody that got a prominent position down with Florida. I’m going to show you a man that became a multimillionaire, and his goal was to live forever. But now he’s being sued by his ex fiance for millions of dollars, and he had to fight for his reputation and his life. I’m gonna have a lot of conversations with you, and it’s no way that I can compartmentalize this and summarize it over into a small, very small situation to where I can just give you the cliff notes and that be the end of it.

No, we don’t have to have some real life examples in order to illustrate it. Because, again, people will never, ever let you just be whatever it is that you are. And with fame and with money and resources comes great responsibility. More than you will ever imagine, more than you will ever know. And very few people really understand it. But we don’t get there today. Going to get there today.
