It’s not like this country does not need some sort of clean sweeping. Now, I don’t know what that’s going to be. I’ve said this before. This country needs a colonic. I would not have chosen Donald Trump to be the doctor to administer that colonic. But I’m curious to see, for example, what Elon Musk is going to do. I’m curious to see how influential he’s going to be. He is tasked with reinventing the government, basically. He said some things which I think are great and I’m on the page with. The first thing he said was, we’re going to ask everybody in the government who has been staying home, and that’s been a lot of people since the pandemic, to come back to work.

And we expect about 20% of the workforce to then just quit. And we welcome that. And I thought, yeah, that’s probably okay. Because if 20% of the government workforce quit, would we notice the difference? I’m guessing we probably wouldn’t. He also said he was going to go after the F-35. Okay. Perfect. That’s exactly the kind of thing we should do. This is a fighter jet that they’ve been funding to the tune of like a trillion dollars. And he said, first of all, it’s obsolete. We don’t use fighter jets anymore. We won’t in the very near future.

They’re just going to get pilots killed. And we have drones now. So why are we spending a trillion dollars on something we don’t need? So if that’s what’s going to go on in the government, I’m all for it. Oh, I’m all for it. Very interesting. Now, what Marja said there is indicative of a new political paradigm that’s emerging. It’s one we talk a lot about on this channel, and it’s centered around what Alana Newhouse calls brokenism. Now, this is a really cool way of explaining MAGA to friends, family, and colleagues who still don’t get it.

Right. What Marja just did there, and he doesn’t know it. Maybe he does. I don’t know. But he really did just give a master class in this notion of brokenism. Alana Newhouse argues that brokenness are a diverse coalition of citizens who see our public institutions as, you may have guessed, incurably broken and rotten. Just like what you heard from Bill Maher, right? Our institutions need, what do you say, a colonoscopy, right? Our public institutions are broken. They’re simply not functioning the way they were intended. Frankly, they become dysfunctional, and they are in desperate need of outside intervention for their restoration.

The establishment and the establishment she defines as legacy media, academia, and federal bureaucracies. So legacy media, academia, federal bureaucracies, they’re simply no longer, they no longer have the resources to fix the very problems that they themselves have created. And so we need to turn to outsiders, to what we might call bootleggers, right, to come in and fix what the establishment has broken. Earlier today, I spoke with President-elect Trump and congratulated him on his victory. I also told him that we will help him and his team with their transition, and that we will engage in a peaceful transfer of power.

We’re going to get a chance to talk about something today. It’s a good welcome. Gang, what you just saw there was both the President and the Vice President eerily congratulating Trump and promising a peaceful transition of power. Well, that’s something I’d like to believe, but it’s hard to believe those words when they’re coming from the mouths of pure serial liars. I mean, career liars. So what does that mean for the next few months? The opposite of what they’re promising. So absolute chaos, economically, culturally, politically. We might be in for war for all we know. So what should you do? You should at least own some gold.

The markets might be up right now, but who knows what’s going to happen between now and January? You need to protect yourself against the last hurrah of the worst administration America has ever had. We know it’s coming. I don’t know what, but something is between now and January 20th. You might think they’re just going to hand over a pristine, happy, functioning country to the man they tried to assassinate and put in jail entirely ruined. Now, something’s coming and you need to be financially prepared for it. You need to talk to Goldkull and protect yourself against this last battle.

But those scenes, those cringe worthy embarrassing scenes should remind us that is not going to fix itself. That doesn’t even recognize it’s broken. That level of broken ism is irreparable on its own.

It ain’t going to fix itself. So for Newhouse, that is what, in effect, MAGA ultimately is. A lot of Newhouse was it was a MAGA convert. This is I think about a year ago or so before bringing on Elon and Vivek and RFK before the big, you know, Tulsi, the realignment where where the horizontal divide of left versus right has been replaced with a vertical divide of the people versus this aloof, corrupt, broken political class. And she realized that in these terms of brokenness, broken ism, you recognize MAGA is not a personality cult. It’s not far right extremism.

It’s it’s a diverse coalition to concern citizens who believe that our public institutions are broken and they are in need of repair from those outside those public institutions. Our regime has gone beyond repair. It cannot be reformed or tinkered with from within. It’s got to be replaced. And we need something like the shock therapy of a Trump and an Elon and RFK, you know, the total outsiders to get that done. Now, in fairness, on the other side, you’ve got what she calls the status quoists. And I would argue that’s what that’s what Bill Maher has been up until now.

He has been a status quoist. And these are those people who know the institutions are broken. They know it’s in need of serious repair. They see that. But as status quoists, they still cling on to the hope that there’s still enough integrity in our public institutions to solve the very problems they’re constantly creating. And that status quoism, as we’re seeing here, is becoming a harder and harder sell to more and more of the population. And I believe that what we saw in November’s election is a massive nationwide coalition of brokenness who simply had enough with this epidemic of incompetence from pollsters to pundits to professors.

Our establishment is clearly broken. So now it’s time for Trump and Elon and the MAGA movement to rise up, fix it for generations to come. And it looks like we now even have Bill Maher coming aboard. Hey, man, welcome home. It’s great to have you. [tr:trw].
