So it’s going to be up to us on January 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified. And then we need bodyguards for everybody in civil war conditions. A sitting member of Congress talking about inciting civil war conditions. Yeah, let’s talk about that here on Guns and Gadgets. Guys, I bring the Second Amendment news, no matter where it happens, good, bad, ugly, or indifferent, as well as I talk about things that are like the officials do that affect our God-given rights. And inciting a civil war is what Jamie Raskin is talking about in that clip.
In fairness to him, play the entire clip because this clip has been going around the internet yesterday and it has started to stir up quite a response. Now, I’m going to be the first to tell you that this clip actually came part of a panel that Jamie Raskin was sitting on talking about voters’ rights. And this was filmed, I think it was the day after the Supreme Court came down and said that Colorado could not keep Donald Trump off of the state ballot for the election based off of the 14th Amendment.
Remember, the Democrats were trying like crazy to say Trump cannot run for president because he started an insurrection. Now, regardless of what you think about Donald Trump, the individual, he has not been charged anywhere with, you know, causing an insurrection. Has not. They’ve tried to charge him with everything else they think they could get him on. And that’s been quite a process for the former president, but he has not been charged with insurrection. And what Jamie Raskin, I’m going to play the clip here in a second, but what Jamie Raskin is referring to is something that was put into the Bill of Rights to keep those who rebelled against the North when they were members of the Confederacy to keep them from gaining office.
Yeah, transparency is a big thing. Guys, before I show you this clip, I want to thank the sponsor of the video, and that’s Brownells. I cannot thank companies enough where friendships have been formed to the point where they support the channel. Brownells is one of them. I’ve been friends with folks at Brownells for a decade now, and it’s amazing. They make a ton of sporting goods, including the BRN 180 that you see as well. And if you go to Brownells and shop for any sporting goods, use code GNG10 and save big on your order.
Thanks to Brownells for being a friend and sponsoring this video. All right, I said I would be fair and play the entire clip because I want you to hear what Jamie Raskin is talking about. There’s two clips I’m going to play. They’re both coming off of the same type of question from the Karens in the audience about what can we do because Trump is an insurrectionist. Here’s the first clip. Well, last night I was most worried about the Supreme Court’s prospective imminent abdication of its very clear duty to disqualify Donald Trump from the ballot under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.
And what that might mean if their decision says that it’s really up to Congress on January 5th or January 6th, 2025 to disqualify him at the counting of the electoral college votes, which really could lead to something akin to civil war if that’s what the suggestion is, which is what I think I heard when I went to the oral argument that they themselves were unwilling to rule whether or not the Colorado Supreme Court was correct in finding that he had engaged in insurrection on January 6th, 2021. But that was just last night’s worry.
All right, that’s the first one. Now, again, in complete transparency, I’m going to show the full answer in which had the internet up in arms yesterday from Janie Raskin at this panel about voters’ rights. He claims they’re under attack in every state because they’re trying to force people to prove who they are or not just let somebody turn in 75 mail-in ballots. Here’s the second part here. Well, what I would say is, you know, we got to play defense and offense in 2024. The right to vote is under attack in very specific ways in lots of states, especially in some of the deep South states, especially in Florida, which I just returned from.
There’s just unbelievable stuff going on there. Like if you have to send a mail-in ballot or absentee ballot, you have to have a, you can only have it taken to the mailbox or the polls by a member of your nuclear family who lives with you. Okay. So there’s just a million traps for the unwary that are being set across the country. But at the same time, we do have to get on offense for the articulation of a constitutional right to vote that’s meaningful for everybody in the country, the millions of people who are left out and disenfranchised and for everybody whose right to vote is rendered vulnerable by this Supreme Court.
And it’s, you know, I like very much the point that both Cherylin and Rick have been making about the Supreme Court. I mean, we’ve got to remember that for the vast majority of American history, the Supreme Court has not been a friend to the people. It has been overwhelmingly in a reactionary or conservative mode. I mean, all the way up until the Civil War, what did the Supreme Court ever do for enslaved people in our country? Absolutely nothing other than cement their status in the Dred Scott decision, saying that African Americans had no rights, that the white man was bound to respect.
And then even after the Civil War, even after the Reconstruction Amendments in 1896 and Plessy versus Ferguson, constitutionalizing Jim Crow. And then it’s not until the Warren Court for a couple of decades with the white primary cases and Brown versus Board, where you get a different kind of Supreme Court on the side of the freedoms and equality of the American people. But the court is not going to save us. And so that means the only thing that really works is people in motion amending the Constitution. But again, it’s necessary, but it’s not sufficient because what can be put into the Constitution can slip away from you very quickly.
And the greatest example going on right now before our very eyes is section three of the 14th Amendment, which they’re just disappearing with a magic wand, as if it doesn’t exist, even though it could not be clearer what it’s stating. And so, you know, they want to kick it to Congress. So it’s going to be up to us on January 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified. And then we need bodyguards for everybody in Civil War conditions, all because the nine justices, not all of them, but these justices who have not many cases to look at every year, not that much work to do a huge staff, great protection, simply do not want to do their job and interpret what the great 14th Amendment means.
And I’m glad that Sherlyn’s creating her new center so we can bring that back to life, even as we’re continuing to amend the Constitution, as Professor Hassan has invited us to do. All right, so there you have it, the complete clip, both answers from Jamie Raskin when he was referring to using the 14th Amendment Article 3 to tell everybody on January 6, 2025, that Trump is disqualified. Now, it sounds to me that they’re trying to actually incite an insurrection to the point where they think they need bodyguards, because there will be Civil War conditions.
When they tell you who they are, believe them. That’s a famous quote. Think about that. When they tell you who they are, believe them. So Jamie Raskin is telling you that there is a faction within Congress that are going to look to, assuming President Trump wins the election, they’re going to look to disqualify him based off of the 14th Amendment Section 3, which states this right here, no person shall be a senator or representative in Congress or elector of President and Vice President or hold any office, civil or military under the United States or under any state who, having previously taken an oath as a member of Congress or as an officer of the United States or as a member of any state legislature or as an executive or judicial officer of any state to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or give an aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.
But Congress may, by vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability. So that’s what he is alluding to. He’s alluding to the fact that Congress is looking to, at least a faction of them, looking to vote by two-thirds that Donald Trump, assuming he wins, will be disqualified because of the 14th Amendment’s Section 3 related to insurrectionists. However, again, as I stated in the beginning, Donald Trump hasn’t been, never mind found guilty of, he has never even been charged with insurrection. This is just verbal diarrhea. This is just the narrative they’re opposing because if they say it enough between now and election day, the people who are just not tied into politics every day, that would rather believe what the headlines tell them, they’ll just go with it, which is why conversations like this are imperative.
It’s amazing. Now, based off of what he said, Jamie Raskin, who has taken the oath to defend the Constitution as a member of Congress, he, what he just said, could be seen as inciting violence, as inciting an actual, an actual issue for the country, an actual insurrection. He’s predicting civil war conditions. That is something that I think is qualifying under Article 14 Section 3 to have him removed from office. Let’s say you guys and gals, I just wanted to get this out here first thing in the morning, just get back from the gym, and it’s been on my mind all night long.
I thought about what he said. I dug deep to see where the interview was from. It was from March, it was March 4th. And it was in response to the Supreme Court saying that Colorado couldn’t take Trump off the ballot because of the insurrection clause that several states tried, tried and failed to instill, to keep Donald Trump from becoming the nominee for the Republican Party. He is the nominee now, and we’ll see what happens as the election gets closer. But when they believe, when they tell you who they are, believe them.
And when there’s smoke, there’s fire. It might be a good time to start buying some, some food that you can store, to buying some, some bullets, you know, some things that you can defend you and your own loved ones with, especially in those states that think they can tell you what you can do. I’ll see you all in the next one. Let me know what you think down below. And dangerous, I didn’t even plan this, I just wore this to the gym, but dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery every single day. So it’s going to be up to us on January 6th, 2025 to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified.
And then we need bodyguards for everybody in Civil War conditions. [tr:trw].
That congressman is a traitor, and needs to be treated as such You will need more than bodyguards to protect you. Trump will win b/c my bible says so. It is Biden who is the criminal and we all know it..
Love to see justice administered and these Marxist/globalist, pedo-tyrants hung for treason and crimes against humanity!!
