I first met Robert through my friend Dr. James Fetzer. I had recently saved Jim’s website from the censor’s cutting block by creating a new site and moving his existing archive over just in time before blog spot removed his site.
Following that, Jim suggested to Robert that I might be a good webmaster for his growing number of sites, which were becoming harder for Robert to manage. In October of 2018, I started working for Robert and since that day, until about 2 weeks ago, I spoke to Robert multiple times per day. Robert was obsessive about his sites and was to-say-the-least “a little hard to work for” some might call him a perfectionist.
During my time working for Robert I learned a lot of things, including how to help co-create a thriving alternative news, commentary and information web ecology. Robert wanted it to be called his “web ecology” and before long we had 18 public facing sites and two background sites for backups and staging.
