As I mentioned a while back, we will be shifting these newsletters to go from responding to “news” to being a source of news!

Northern Kentucky Contractor Says “We Will Not Comply”
Here’s what Adam from Meraki Contractors in Kentucky said…
“I was watching the news conference when Andy Beshear announced that he would be enacting lockdowns and the like, regardless of law or regard of personal freedoms.
While he was still speaking I opened my laptop and began to write an email to my entire team. The premise was simple: We will not comply with unlawful orders. I swore an oath to uphold and defend the constitution, and I will not allow a fear monger to trample on our personal freedoms and liberties.
I did the same when he announced a mask “mandate”. I informed my team that decision to be theirs entirely and I will in no way shape or form allow this man to trample our personal freedoms.
We have remained open at 100% capacity throughout all of the mandates and lockdowns, masks are only worn as a personal preference, and most of our clients enjoy seeing a friendly face and smile. I have announced to clients that we will not participate in any such “mandates” and if they disagree with how we choose to do business that is ok, and they are welcome to seek help elsewhere. Some have, and that is fine by me, the other 99% stand behind us and appreciate our principles.”

Kansas Business Owner Says “My Employees Never Had To Wear Masks”
Here’s what Marcia from Payless Optical in Wichita, Kansas said…
“HAHA, my employees never had to wear masks. Breathe and enjoy it, I said. On my front window is a sign that reads WE ARE AMERICANS WE ARE FREE WE HAVE A GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO FRESH AIR NO MORE MASKS!
I have had many customers tell me that they like my sign. One guy took a picture and sent it to his wife, one that I know of. We are an optical store and we tell our customers that they can lose the mask if they’d like, because when you try on glasses you kind of need to see what you look like.”

Arizona Skin Care Entrepreneur Says She “Opened a Full Size Salon Myself”
Jamie in Maricopa county, AZ from The Treatment Room said this:
“To stay open during covid, after the mandatory lockdown .. I had to move my shop TWICE to escape mask mania inside beauty malls. My husband knew he couldn’t stop me and how I felt and my clients were just happy I was around to help wherever I was. I consulted the Great48 group and they suggested I take a leap of faith and open a full size salon myself so I can have my own rules and I DID! there’s lots of work to do still and building back my SCARED TO DEATH facial/skincare clients, but I’m doing it and I’m proud to be an American and have the opportunity to not only improve the quality of people’s skin… but have the opportunity to have a “ conversation” about my American flag in my shop and what’s really happening in America.
Like the saying goes, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way!”
