Following eight days of testimony from both sides, 30 state senators voted on Saturday to acquit or remove from office of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on 16 articles of impeachment.
The State Senate also voted to dismiss the four articles of impeachment that were held in Abiance with a 19 to eleven vote. There are 31 state senators in Texas. However, only 30 senators, 18 Republican and twelve Democrats could vote on the impeachment articles because Senator Angela Paxton, the wife of Mr. Paxton, is ineligible to vote. The 30 senators who began their deliberations just before noon on Friday returned to the Senate chamber at noon on Saturday to vote on 16 of 20 separate articles of impeachment.

I’m deeply troubled by Mr. Epstein’s actions. I think there certainly should have faced a far stiffer consequence than he did. But having tried cases, I know that it’s hard to go back and sort of second guess that risk analysis that goes into putting witnesses before jury and subjecting them to cross examination. I don’t know. I know that this Epstein stuff is going to tie everything together. Everything. This is going to be the nice little bow on the present that says to the deep state, okay? So here’s my thoughts on this. I think a lot of them are mad that he’s not moving forward with the impeachment. That’s because they’re not looking at the chess game for what it is. And the chess game is you got to keep them there. You got to let them rot the party, and we got to let them start playing musical chairs, okay? We got to let them start doing that.
Got to let them start making these moves, these desperate moves. So I look at the chess game like, Biden has to stay there. He’s the rotting corpse, as Juan would say. I’m understanding the game a lot more, folks, if you’re not picking up what I’m laying down, I’m learning a lot. And you know what I like to have? A one year old baby boy died and three other children were hospitalized on Friday from potentially ingesting fentanyl at a Bronx daycare center. According to police, the children had been napping at Devino Nino daycare center and had eaten 90 minutes prior.
The children were supposed to wake up around 230 but were unresponsive. The victims included a one year old boy, two year old, two two year old boys, and an eight month old girl. The one year old boy is dead and three other children hospitalized after possibly ingesting fentanyl at a daycare at the Bronx, the daycare center Friday afternoon, police sources said. The horrific scene unfolded around 02:40 p.

At Devino Nino on Morris Avenue in the Kings Bridge neighborhood, where the four tots a one year old boy, two two year old boys, and an 8th month old girl were found unresponsive in a basement, sources said. The children had gone down for naps and were supposed to wake up at 02:30 p. m. . Sources said. They had all eaten something about 90 minutes earlier.
