Summary

➡ Fortuna Silver, a mining company, has found promising results from their drilling project in San Jose, Mexico. They discovered high amounts of silver in several areas, which could extend the life of the mine. This is good news for the company, and they’re planning to continue testing to understand more about what they’ve found. They’ll be making decisions about the future of the San Jose mine later this year.

The land of Arcadia. Well hello there and good morning my friends. Chris Marquez here with you for Arcadia economics and today we have an update from Fortuna silver as they got some results back from their drilling at their San Jose project in Mexico and some really encouraging drill results which included 1327 grams per ton silver equivalent over an estimated true width of 3 meters from 605 meters, 1030 6 grams per ton silver equivalent over 8.

1 meter. That also includes 2910 grams per ton and also a wide interval of 179 grams per ton over 17. 5 meters. And as we take a look at the highlights, here is that first one to 1320 7 grams per ton which also included 5135 grams per ton over a true width of 0. 3 meters. They also had 295 grams per ton over true width of 4. 8 meters.

And here is the one I mentioned, 179 grams per ton over a true width of 17. 5 meters and also 453 grams per ton over 4. 8 meters. And that 1036 grams per ton over 8. 1 meter including 29 10 grams per ton over 2. 4 meters and the drill program has been focused on testing the limits of the Se vein, also doing infill drilling to support the initial resource estimate.

And the Yesi vein has now been drill tested over a 350 meters strike and 450 meters vertical profile where it remains open up and down dip as well as a long strike to the southeast. And this was part of a program that consisted of ten holes for a total of 6622 meters. The program confirmed the vein geometry is trending north northwest and intersecting and merging with the north south oriented Victoria mineralized zone over to the west.

And they’re also getting evidence of higher grade chutes that demonstrate a moderate southeasterly plunge that is often associated with high gold grades. And they currently still have three drill rigs that are testing the depth strike and infill of the Yesey vein to further delineate what they have there. Here is a quick look at the map and you can see down on the southeast portion where they had the 1320 7 grams per ton and also here in hole 1460 where they had the 1030 6 grams per ton.

And obviously this comes at a good time with the life of mine running out at San Jose, but this is a big step towards extending that and really encouraging news to see. I have the link to the press release in the description field below and it looks like we may be checking in with Jorge Ginoza of Fortuna later this week to get his thoughts on these drill results and also how that impacts their timeline going forward with the decision they’ll be making at San Jose later this year, so just wanted to pass that along.

I hope you’re having a great morning out there, and I will see you again soon. .
