Links will be down below. And we’re gonna talk about some some shenanigans that are going on in the Senate that I almost foretold a couple months ago when something happened.

So we’re gonna be talking about John Cornyn, the senator from Texas. John Cornyn was instrumental in passing the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act through the Senate. He and several others, he was the leader of that group, him and Mitch McConnell, to get several Republicans to jump ship and join the Democrats to pass this gun control legislation that Biden’s saying it’s the most significant gun control we’ve had in the last 30 years. Well, John Cornyn and some others took some heat. He was even censured by his own party in Texas. And then this happened.

This came out yesterday and I’m gonna I’m gonna read you word for word. I’ll put it on the screen something that Cornyn put out because this just shows that they hate you, they think you’re stupid, and that you won’t figure out what they’re actually doing. So this came out yesterday on the 15th of May and the title says, Cornyn Tillis colleagues introduced resolution to block unconstitutional Biden ATF rule.

What unconstitutional Biden ATF rule you might ask? Well, it’s the Engaged in the Business rule that is going into effect on May 20th, just a couple days, that was brought forward because of what John Cornyn did. So he opened the gates for this. Now he’s saying, oh, this is terrible. We should do something about it. This is politics, guys. Washington, US senators John Cornyn from Texas, Tom Tillis from North Carolina and 43 Senate Republicans today introduced a joint resolution of disapproval under the Congressional Review Act to strike down the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives rule on the definition of engage in the business as a dealer in firearms, which ignores the law and congressional intent and flagrantly violates the Constitution to try to require anyone who sells a firearm to register as a federal firearms licensee.

Here’s a quote from Trader Cornyn himself. He said, this rule is proof that the Biden administration is a dishonest broker and Congress must hold it accountable for its actions in favor of its gun grabbing liberal base over the constitutional rights of law abiding Americans. We will fight this lawless rule tooth and nail to ensure the God given right to keep and bear arms is preserved and this flagrant distortion of the congressional intent of our landmark mental health and school safety law is struck down. Yeah. He’s saying that the Biden administration is a dishonest broker.

He’s being extremely dishonest here. This would never happen if he didn’t do what he did to get the other Republicans to jump ship. They’re all they’re all complicit in this, not just him, not just Mitch McConnell. And then Tom Tillis, who was also instrumental in this. This is what he said. He said it’s outrageous that the Biden administration decided to take a good faith effort to curb the mental health crisis across our country and turn it into an unconstitutional attempt to restrict firearms from law abiding American citizens. This overreach is exactly why Republicans don’t trust this administration and it will set back any attempt on future bipartisan legislation as long as President Biden is an office.

I encourage my colleagues to support this CRA we introduced and immediately overturn this ridiculous regulation. Did he really think that they could trust the Democrats when it comes to guns? When have they ever shown good faith in restoring rights that they have restricted over the last few decades? Never. Why did they think it would happen now? Maybe because they’re stupid or maybe you should follow the money. So here on the screen if you want to pause it is a list of the other 43 Senate Republicans who are backing this Congressional Review Act.

But I want to tell you this. I want to be honest with you. Congressional Review Act in order for this to happen, which would strike the ATF’s rule as unconstitutional. There are three things that would have to happen and it goes like this. It would have to be approved in the Senate. It would have to go to the House and they would have to approve it. It would have to then go to the president and he would have to sign it, thus striking the ATF’s rule. Joe Biden will never ever sign anything that would negate what he told his bureaucrats to do because he can’t do constitutionally when it comes to not only guns but anything.

So Biden will never sign this. Why do they do these things? Well they want to get people on record and this is being backed by gun owners of America as well. This is not the unconstitutional BS but this Congressional Review Act. I’m going to read you something from GOA and then I’m going to show you something that Eric Pratt said last night which I loved. He dunked on John Cornyn. This is from my buddy Aiden Johnston who is the Federal Affairs Director at GOA. He said gun owners of America is supportive of Senator Cornyn’s efforts to block President Biden’s new ATF rule criminalizing private firearm sales which are protected under the Second Amendment and legal in a majority of states.

This is nothing more than an attempt to force gun owners to fill out gun registration paperwork like forms 4473 before transferring even one firearm to even a family member. The death of Brian Malinowski at the hands of the armed ATF agents sent a clear message from the Biden administration to gun owners comply or else. And Aiden’s right. I mean ATF any anything federal the bureaucracies they are trying to intimidate everybody into following. That’s why they made an example of our friend Dexter Taylor. If you didn’t see that video from yesterday please watch it.

Dexter Taylor is sitting in prison for a decade for doing something that is totally legal and has been since the beginning of this country. In fact before this was even a country. But here’s what Eric Pratt said in response to this this press release by Cornyn. Eric said GOA wouldn’t have to fight this gun control in court and Republicans wouldn’t have to push the joint resolution of disapproval if John Cornyn hadn’t compromised and supported this anti-gun legislation back in 2022. Spot on. No compromise means something. John Cornyn, Tom Tillis and the crew compromised.

We the American people paid for it and now they’re trying to save face. Why? Because there’s an election coming. That’s why we’re getting closer to November. This isn’t going to pass. The Senate is still not controlled by pro-constitution loving Second Amendment loving people. This will not make it through the Senate. But the NRA ILA I will say is backing this as well. I get a lot of people saying Jared the NRA where are they? Well they’re in this so here it is what they’re saying and this is from the NRA ILA executive director Randy Kozich.

He said with a stroke of a pen the Biden administration once again oversteps its authority with this new rule. This regulation threatens to turn tens of thousands of upstanding citizens into criminals for exercising their constitutional rights by selling even a single firearm. The NRA fully supports Senator Cornyn and Representative Clyde’s legislation to invalidate this egregious rule. So now I’m putting it on you all. You the viewer. You guys and gals are with me day in and day out. You know I bring I try to bring the light to all of the dirt that these guys and gals in leadership across the country.

I try to show you what they do on a regular basis so that you can be better informed and we can fight these these things. What do you say to John Cornyn and the like? I’ll also pin my videos in the pinned comment as well as floating above in the cards here that I did when I named all of the clowns that sold out the Constitution to bring us to where we are today. Some of those same clowns are saying whoa whoa whoa the ATF the Biden administration are bad but they’re the ones who open the floodgates.

Guys and gals I hope this I hope this angers you. I really do because this cannot stand and the only way we stop this is if we the people get off our asses and get involved and if that upsets you then maybe the shoe fits. We need to get in foot. We need to get involved. I need to do more myself. It’s not just everybody else. It’s me too and that is changing a lot this year. Guys and gals until we see each other again be safe stay vigilant and carry a gun because you are your own first responder.
