2025 4RUNNER LEAKED BY FORBES MAGAZINE | JailBreak Overlander

➡ JailBreak Overlander talks about how Forbes magazine mistakenly shared images of the 2025 6th generation Forerunner before it was supposed to. The leaked model has some cool features but also some not-so-great ones, like poor tires and a roof rack that needs replacing. There won’t be any extra parts available for this model for a while. Despite the new model, the current 5th generation Forerunner still has a lot of support and parts available, making it a better choice for now.

So here’s a quick video for you. Forbes magazine accidentally released pictures of the 2025 6th generation forerunner. This is the TRD version right here. And if you go to Forbes magazine right now, you’ll discover that this has been removed. Oops. Somebody done effed up. And it is what it is. Forbes is a mainstream magazine that basically they’re writers for hire. There’s nothing behind it. Blah, blah, blah. When you deal with Toyota, you should at least have the common courtesy to make sure that you’re not leaking or spilling the beans.

The beans, my friends, have been spilled. I’m looking at this thing, and it’s a good setup. It’s a good setup. From TRD Pro. I noticed that it appears to have rock sliders on it. It has really lame tires, a roof rack that won’t do anything. You’ll have to replace it, and lots of big pieces of plastic, which is cool. Notice the rear windows. You will not be able to put gull wings in there unless somebody comes up with a really good set.

But the problem is, there isn’t going to be any aftermarket support for this for a while. You know what I mean? For a while. For a while. So it is what it is. I see a lot of plastic here that I replaced on my vehicle with steel, because steel gets the job done for America. Jmo, man, I guarantee you that Toyota is piping super hot right now that this got leaked before it was supposed to.

Unbe leaveable. But it’s a good looking vehicle, I suppose. But I’ll stick with mine. 37 inch tires, two inch long travel in the front, Dana 60 in the rear end, custom made drive shafts, dual transfer cases, triple shifter, supercharged and paid for, and a massive. That’s the reason I got the fifth gen. Massive aftermarket support for this particular truck. So for all those people that are going to try to jump on the 2025, keep that in mind.

There is no aftermarket as of yet, whatsoever at all. And everything in the world is available for the fifth gen forerunner. So that’s what I’m doing. And it looks like Forbes magazine is gonna have to ride off into the sunset on this one. Wow. What a. What a mess up. They just went and spilled the beans. Oh, my. And embarrassingly enough, they took it down. I was. I was able to steal this real quick before it wasn’t available anymore.

That’s not a bad color. I don’t mind the lines, but I happen to like the lines on the fifth gen. You know, I just do. But I’m wondering how these things are going to become equipped. I mean, it’s going to be $90,000. Take note of the little. The little snorkel right here. The integrated snorkel. I’d like to know how that really works in real life and how the inlet is.

Because unlike what people believe, snorkels aren’t simply for crossing water. Snorkels are for sucking the air from higher up. Like when you’re on a trail in Wyoming, Utah, Texas, pretty much anywhere, and you’re following somebody, you’re sucking up all their dust, and you’re killing your air filtration system, which is killing your fuel injectors. In worse, killing your supercharger. You know what I’m saying? I mean, it still looks the same.

It still looks the same. Fortunately, one of my subscribers scored this for me because I wouldn’t have any footage because, like I said, forbes took it down. But I do like the. I do like the mud flaps or whatever you call these right here. The things that you rip off on the trail when you actually four wheel your truck. I do like them, but I wouldn’t use them.

I see they’ve incorporated some little. Some little lights in there, which is nice. All these things are nice, but, I mean, you rip them all off. Look at that rear trailing arm. Perfectly level. Perfectly level. We got to put some angle on that. A little lift, a little up. You gotta fit 37s under there. I know, I know. Forties. I ain’t doing forties. Nobody should. But whatever. That’s a good color.

That’s a nice setup right there. The secret squirrel license plates. I noticed the exhaust is on the opposite side, which I find queer, strange, unusual. The thing is, I mean, it’s not very far off. What we saw back here in April of 2023, the pictures that were shown, it’s not too. Too far off. You know what I’m saying? Pretty similar. That’s a good picture. And then the hybrid.

Max. I ain’t taking a hybrid engine. It’s not worth it. It isn’t worth it. It’s too complicated. It’s too complex. I’ll stick with the 4. 0 with a supercharger on top. Put out 403 hp. Yes, it’s been dynoed. The front end doesn’t do anything for me because that’s all gonna get replaced with metal. Metal. Metal makes the truck work. Unless you just buy the forerunner to meet up and have coffee and such.

I mean, I suppose you could do that. That’s not necessarily what I do. My truck’s been in a couple of shows, and it was a showstopper both times, which is very cool, seeing how I built it in my driveway. At any rate, that’s it. That’s all I got.
