Hey, this is I, Allegedly. Welcome back. I am Dan. And I’ve got a good one for you today because you are broke if you make less than $200,000 a year. Can you say that again? You’re broke if you don’t have $200,000 a year coming in. That is crazy. Hit the like button, subscribe to the channel. So much to cover today. But it’s chaos here in Southern California. So why not take a break and go to the park and get away from all that mayhem? Hmm. Okay, let’s do it. Like, subscribe, and a lot to cover today.

There was a great site through Smart Asset. And Smart Asset is the site that did a study on what it cost to live to be a normal family and what it would take to make ends meet. You need to make $200,000 in 43 of the 50 states around the country. There are only 7 states in the United States where you can make under $200,000 and you will not be below the poverty line. That is insane, guys. That is absolutely nuts when you think about that. So with that being said, what does that mean? Well, you need to have 50% for necessities, 30% for once, and 20% for savings.

Now, I’m telling you guys, if we could all live that way and you could have 50% of your money towards bills, that would be great. If you could have 30% towards once, then I want, you know, a rocket ship. Okay, let’s go get that. I want a Ferrari and I want a Lamborghini and a Corvette. You know what I mean? Come on. You know what I mean? It’s like crazy. And then 20% to study for savings. Okay. I’m at a park today and there’s a lot of people feeding the squirrels and feeding. It’s kind of weird.

So with that being said, who has this? Who’s got that? Have you guys had that kind of money? I love stuff like this. Now, here’s the thing. The seven states that are reasonable are Mississippi, Kentucky, Arkansas, Alabama, West Virginia, South Dakota, and Louisiana. Louisiana is the seventh and it’s just under 200 grand. One, 99, 597. Guys, I’m telling you this right now. Life is so expensive right now. In all of my last few videos and whenever I talk about something, people that send me, you know, all these different shopping tips and places to save money. And we are seeing store after store after store go out of business.

And I’m going to talk about a few today, but people cannot make it right now. Here’s one thing that’s crazy. Dr. Marvin sent me this other story and inside of a place called Miami Gardens, there is a family that has opened up their own restaurant that you’re not allowed to talk about. Just keep quiet. We don’t talk about the restaurant. You don’t talk about Fight Club. You don’t talk about the restaurant. Speaking of that, one, my daughter was five. One thing that she did was like a trained parrot for her father. She learned the eight rules of Fight Club and it was great because I would go to parties and things like that.

And they’d say, what’s rule number four? And she would spout it out and it was just great. And she still knows them all by heart today and she’s in her mid 20s mid to late 20s. Okay. Anyways, this family has got tons of cars out in front. People are lined up to eat this food day after day after day. And finally, they start calling the cops and the cops show up and people are like, what restaurant? What are you talking about? What restaurant? So finally a reporter from the local paper that Dr. Marvin sent said, what are they serving there? And the guy says, oh, it’s great.

It’s oxtail. It’s vegetables. It’s rice, peas, and chicken. It’s like, I’m not an oxtail kind of guy, guys. So that doesn’t do much for me. But again, somebody likes it. Somebody’s waiting in line for it. And they have traffic throughout the night to get people there to get this food. So, you know, life is expensive. The best thing that you can do is a few things. You know, we talk a lot, you know, Patriot Gold is my main sponsor on this channel. But I’m telling you guys, if you look at things like silver right now, it is crazy with what is happening with silver.

You want to get something that’s inexpensive that could go up substantially. You’ve got to look at silver for all the industrial needs that it has. There is not enough silver being mined to keep up with the green cars. You’re going to see, and I’m verifying this right now, that Elon Musk and the other green companies are going to go out and buy their own silver mines. If this happens, you will see silver go to $150 an ounce. Crazy. That’s what experts are saying. So go out and get yourself some silver. If you want to get something inexpensive, there’s a thing called junk silver, which is dimes and quarters that are under and half dollars that are under that were pre-1964, 1964 and previous.

And expensive. Okay. Don’t pay a lot for it. Okay. But go get some of that stuff. So we’re seeing this over and over. But I love the Miami Garden story. Good old Jack Daniels is out there talking about how their sales are off an absolute ton right now. Why are they off right now? Because people are choosing alternatives like cannabis and other psychedelics. It’s crazy. It’s like, what? How about people just aren’t drinking? They’re trying to get healthier right now. No, everybody’s trying to do something. No, we’re not. Okay. So I get, it’s kind of funny, you know, when you think about this and the port of Los Angeles is talking about how they’re down right now in the ships.

Now think about tariffs haven’t hit yet. The threat of tariffs businesses off an absolute ton. And they’re saying that the port activity is down almost 40% right now. Now, again, guys, all drive to the port and film that, but you’re going to see nothing. They’re going to see no backed up boats right now. There’s nobody waiting to have things delivered. It’s just an absolute mess. One thing that’s nice is with the parks and stuff, these kids come out with their cap and gown and take pictures and stuff like that. So that’s nice to see that. But the port traffic is off because people are not doing well with them.

Have you guys ever heard of a place called barrio burrito barrio burritos like a make your own burrito kind of like Chipotle. They have are going to have with commitments. They just added 434 more franchises. Everybody’s yeah, you don’t give good news. Here’s some more good news. There’s a burrito place that’s going to have 1500 locations on the east coast 1500. Now, the thing about this place that makes it really, really wild is that they need 1000 to 1500 square feet, which is nothing, guys. It’s a very, very small place to sell burritos at. So if you want to have a franchise, the thing that blew me away was, guys, think about this.

Everybody’s like, hey, I’ve always wanted to own a place like that. This is why I’m talking about this is that, yes, you know, they added, you know, 375 locations in Canada. But listen to this number. Okay, you need between four hundred and forty eight thousand two hundred dollars to have a burrito location and seven hundred and fifty three thousand. That’s your cash up front. You have to have liquid, Dan. Write a check, Dan, for four hundred and forty thousand. Well, I don’t even make two hundred grand a year. So what am I going to do? I guess I’m a broke non burrito owning guy kind of guy.

See what I’m saying? It’s like it’s so much money to have these franchises. But here’s the thing. Experts are talking about how bad McDonald’s is right now. This is something we have to look at right now. When McDonald’s is off, everything is off. Now, again, I, you know, Mike Adams would, you know, just give me a laundry list of things as to why it’s poison, which is crap. I mean, I’m not trying to sit there and say McDonald’s is good by any means. But to sit there right now, you’ve got it. Look at these guys, all the squirrels, everybody out here running around.

When McDonald’s is going to go out of business, this is going to create nothing but havoc. You’re going to see these franchisees that are going to go out of business. You’re going to see something you haven’t seen. I’ve seen Burger Kings go out of business a lot. Hi, buddy. I don’t have anything for you right now. Go back to the car before I leave. So going to be interesting, to say the least. So the next thing is Auntie Ann’s, which, you know, they’re the pretzel place. And whenever I take anybody to the stadium, they have a new refreshed look where they’re remodeling their stores to attract Gen Z’s.

Well, think about it. You got hot dogs with salt, cheese dip, or the kind with the cinnamon on it. And everybody loves it. But they’re going to revamp these places to attract younger kids. And they’re going to do this between now and December 15th for the end of the year. And they’re going to do it to 400 locations. So again, guys, it’s, you know, is that going to make you go out and buy pretzels? The pretzel plate, this is like at the Irvine spectrum, the mall. And you want a pretzel while they ice skate? Yeah, let’s go get a pretzel.

And then you got the little mini hot dogs that, again, there are nitrate sticks that are poison and offset your Cialis. So don’t take them. He didn’t say that. I just made that up. Anyways, another one, which I love, this one, the name of this place is called Torrid. Now, what does Torrid do? Torrid is a plus size apparel company. And they’re closing all of their locations. They’re going to close. They were going to close 40 to 50 stores this year. Now it looks like they’re going to close 450 stores. So the bigger gals are not buying stuff at Torrid.

I thought that this was a joke at first. Torrid is a plus size store. Doesn’t that seem kind of like big? Like, hey, tanks are us. I mean, it just seems like a big, like, like, OK, where are you shop at, Torrid? I don’t know. I don’t know. Maybe I’m maybe I’m just really bad. OK, but I think it’s kind of funny, you know, when you when you see stuff like that. So another good one was a real problem with squatters in every state. And what squatters are doing right now is they’re going out and watching for close of best grown houses.

And a man just bought his dream house. And he got the state riot. Oh, this was in Australia. And he bought the dream house and was going in and filming out in front, taking pictures out in front of the house, could not go into his house because squatters had moved in. So he called the police and then the police came out and they called a local television crew and the local television crew was filming the guy in front of the house and on the video and the story below. The people, the squatters are watching themselves on TV laughing about this.

So the squatters overtook this guy’s house and are watching themselves on the news programs. I’m telling you guys, it’s nuts. It’s absolutely nuts. The greatest story ever was a friend of ours, her and her husband. She was a flight attendant and he was a real estate agent in Huntington Beach, California. And one day this friend calls him and says, hey, man, I didn’t know you were renting out your house. He’s like, what are you talking about? I’m not renting out my house. Yeah, it’s on Craigslist right now. So he opens up the Craigslist listing and it’s his house on Craigslist for rent.

He’s like, that’s crazy. Calls the guy. Yeah, what do you want to see it? Well, that’s the picture of my house. Oh, you know, we probably use the wrong photo as soon as they said that. So they kind of blew them off to think that they would get them off the scent. But eventually it got worse because like a month later, somebody tried to sell that same house. So I’m telling you, be crazy. You’d be surprised the crazy stuff on Craigslist right now. Somebody sent me if you’d like to help with the protests and stuff like that, there’s ads right now.

But you can get paid to go protest. Imagine that. Imagine that. Wow, that is nuts. Imagine someone writing you a check to protest. You know what? You should go to our private channel. I allegedly live and check it out. We’ll discuss something like that further. OK. Oh, man, you guys get it. You get it. It’s like things are tough. You’re not you’re not the only one, you know, think about it. Mental health professionals are having a difficult time. You’re seeing more and more businesses that are suffering month after month after month. And people have less money.

People are buying less contractors that have people do this. Now, growing up in that business, you’d see people do things that they would to sell how homes during the 2008 debacle. Hey, we need new windows on the house. Oh, my gosh. Your house has got 18 windows to it. Now, we just want to do the two up front. So the house will look good. We’ll wait till they walk inside the house. We’re going to see that the other 16 windows weren’t done. It’s all we can afford. Make the house look good. So you’re seeing things like that now.

You’re seeing people push stuff off. And it’s crazy. It’s absolutely crazy, guys. But it’s not just you. Costco recalled a bunch of barbells because there were 110 injuries for that. So that’s horrible to think about. And final, final thing. And this is this is awful. OK. Here in California, one thing that I refuse to pay for is junk fees when I buy a car. Hey, what are your doc fees? Well, they’re $300 to put the documents together. Good. You pay that. I’m not paying for that. Well, no, we have to charge you this, sir. We have to do that.

How about this one to get your registration handled right now here in California. They’re going to raise this to be one percent of the purchase price of your car. So the dealerships can charge you more money and they’re going to make this into law to where both the Republicans and the Democrats voted for this. So that’s insane, guys. Nobody needs one percent with the maximum fee of five hundred dollars just to do the documentation for the DMV and stuff like that. That’s insane. It’s do it for free. You want to sell that jalopy out front? Do it for free.

Do it for free. I’m telling you guys, you have to be leery of everything. Ask questions. You may have the greatest deal in the car ever. But then what are they going to charge me? What’s it going to be a month? What kind of financing? What about the insurance? What about all this stuff? You have to ask questions of all this stuff. But, you know, these people are trying to fight this and, you know, the Republicans and the Democrats voted for that. So that’s terrible, guys. Do you make 200 grand a year? You know, many people don’t make two hundred thousand dollars a year.

Now, I have an audience that’s kind of older because of me and my age and stuff like that. But I am telling you guys, get yourself ready for retirement. Dan, that’s never going to happen. I’m going to work for him a hundred. I saw a horrible story sent to me over the weekend where a man paid for his girlfriends or his wife’s, excuse me, her care and had to pay so she would stay inside the house and not have hospice. And the insurance company who deserves a place in health for this didn’t pay for anything. And now the guy has to work at 82 years old so his wife could die inside the house.

Now, I did that for my girlfriend and it was incredibly expensive and I would never have done it any differently. But people like this need to have somebody look out for this guy where this guy has to work fast food and bag groceries and things like that just to make it because he took care of his wife.
