We’re honored to be joined today very quickly by several families affected by the vicious storm. You feel guilty you didn’t be alive sometimes. We just lost everything. Water covered everybody. We’ll be at your side through every step of the rebuilding and no American is going to be left behind. The highest responsibility and deepest obligation of the American government is to protect its people. I’m pleased to announce that under our leadership the federal government will be surging housing solutions to the state that go beyond mere temporary hotel stays. Today I’ll also be signing an executive order slashing all red tape and bureaucratic barriers and permits to ensure the rapid reconstruction of the roads here in Western North Carolina.
