Okay, I’ve also quoted Thomas Jefferson, who said that the sheriff is indeed the top executive of the county. So if President Trump wants to come in to my county and he wants to straighten something out, I’m sure that he would have the jurisdictional respect to contact me or any other sheriff first. And I’m pretending now that I’m still a sheriff, which I’m not. But there’s only 40 powers that the federal government has constitutionally. And it’s actually less than that. It’s probably 38 or 39. It doesn’t even reach 40. So if he’s doing something outside those 40, you better believe I’ll stand against him.

I don’t care if it’s FBI, IRS, EPA, USDA, DEA. I don’t care who it is. If they’re outside the authority of the Constitution, every sheriff should stand in the way and stop it. That’s what we’re supposed to do. How about remember your oath, sheriff, and make sure that we’re doing what Collier County was just talking about and calling upon every sheriff to do. And that is enforce the Bill of Rights. Stand in the way, stand in the gap. When government believes it can do anything, and we say no. And when the CSPOA says, no, government can’t do anything at once, look at the Constitution and I’ll prove it to you.

And then they say, oh, we’re anti-government. No, we’re anti- tyranny. And we’re anti-corruption. And SPLC, you’re part of it. And then they quote the ADL, the Anti-Defamation League, again, saying that we’re an anti-government organization. And yet that ADL has never called me or asked me anything about that. First of all, SPLC in the past has called me frequently, but in the last four or five years, they have done nothing. They have not called me either. They just love writing articles and putting them out there so other people can see them and say, oh, wow, look at this horrible Sheriff Mac.

Man, he’s really a tyrant and, boy, he doesn’t support the federal government, does he? Folks, I totally support the constitutional federal government. Totally will and always have. But your sheriff, why is he so powerful? Because he’s elected. Because the power source delegates to the sheriff directly what his authority is in representing them with his badge. Where does he get the badge? From the people. Where does he get his authority to carry a gun? From the people. And who is he supposed to serve and protect and defend the people that put him there? Can the federal government fire me? No.

Can they hire me? No. That’s why their authority just doesn’t go very far because they can’t and they don’t. And when they threaten to arrest us, especially me in particular, because I was the one that brought the lawsuit against them, they threatened to arrest all the sheriffs. And I said, no way. And I said, that cannot stand. And I was all by myself for six weeks until Sheriff Prince joined the lawsuit. And then we had a whopping five more joined the lawsuit. There were seven of us. And we kicked the Clintons butt. And I am proud to be a part of that.

I am so proud to be a part of that. And folks, this message needs to go nationwide that the sheriffs sued the federal government and won. Did you notice that the SPLC or anything in that article talk anything about my lawsuit victory? It’s the only reason you and I know each other, Jack. Yep, right. Good point. Now, they’re never going to bring that up. And neither is anyone else. In fact, I don’t want anyone to even know that it exists. And for most people, including most court systems, et cetera, they don’t know it exists. They don’t even have somebody who runs and checks to see if there’s been something already done historically with respect to the Supreme Court, especially about the things that they will go ahead and do carte blanche.
