Hey friends, Peggy Hall back with you from the healthyamerican.org. We’re still talking about dentists and I want you to hear from a couple of dentists who have reached out to me after one of their patients sent them my sub sec and my video. So I want to share with you what the dentists are saying and why it seems like dentists are retiring. You have been sending me so many great messages and I’ve really been enjoying this series on natural dental care and natural tooth care basically without dentists or with finding a good dentist.
So thank you to everyone who has been participating in our conversations. Let me know if you had a dentist that you loved, that you trusted, that was gentle and kind and didn’t do the upsell and the hard sell and the marketing and all of that and if they retired that happened to me twice and I am on the hunt for a good dentist. However, there are so many natural approaches to taking care of your teeth and that also I covered in a video but right now before I get to why dentists are retiring and what dentists are saying about dentists, let me share a message from the sponsor and we’re going to noblegoldinvestments.com.
Friends, retirement statements just hit the mailboxes and for many the shock is real. Some investors lost 20% or more in just the first quarter. If you’re close to retirement, that’s more than a dip. It is a danger but here’s what most advisors won’t tell you. Gold was up more than 30% during the same time so that adds up to about a 60% swing and that kind of gap can change everything when it comes to retirement. So compare your Q1, your first quarter statement to gold’s performance and then call noblegoldinvestments. Their number is 877-646-5347.
Noblegold specializes in helping people protect what they’ve earned with real assets like gold and silver. We’re talking about physical gold and silver if that’s what you would like and right now when you open a qualified account, noblegoldinvestments is going to give you this 10 ounce silver American flag bar for free. So don’t wait, compare with others and give them a call. 877-646-5347. You’ll speak to someone in the United States. I know the CEO of this company. It’s a family run company so please give them a call to see if this is a good match for you.
I’ll have a link for you in the description box below. Also the disclaimer which is every investment carries a risk. There’s never a guarantee so get your questions answered by the experts. You worked hard for your money so now is the time to protect it. Check it out at noblegoldinvestments.com. Friends, I want to share with you what dentists are saying and before I do that I want to share with you what you are saying. This is an email that came in from a healthy American and so many of you left comments over at my substack peggyhall.substack.com and she writes, my dentist of 40 years retired and closed his practice so I selected a new dentist with my healthcare network.
When I showed up for my appointment I was greeted by a cheerleading squad. She writes, this is my first red flag. The staff behind the front desk belted out a nasally phony overly cheery welcome to smiley face dentistry. The only thing lacking was the pom poms and the cartwheels. Many retailers have adopted this model for greeting customers but I personally find it insincere and annoying. When I roam the aisles of a store looking for a specific product, the cheerleaders are nowhere to be found. I’m looking for professional competent staff members.
I’m not looking for a new best friend. She writes, I had made it clear when I made the appointment that I was only there for a cleaning but when I sat down in the chair the hygienists informed me that they would not clean my teeth without an x-ray. Let me know if that has happened to you. She writes, this sounded ridiculous to me but the hygienists stood her ground and I eventually caved. She wrote, after the cleaning I was told that I had the beginning of receding gums which were only going to get worse with age.
Then came a recommendation for a gum restoration procedure that sounded extensively outrageous immensely painful and completely unnecessary. I declined. As I got up to leave the hygienists handed me a brand new toothbrush, thank you very much, and a small tube of Crest. No thank you. She cautioned me that my homemade toothpaste made with coconut oil and baking soda, by the way that’s what I like to do, might be too abrasive and harmful to my teeth. Has she ever read the list of ingredients on a tube of Crest? Which by the way says, call poison control if you swallow it.
Yeah. She writes, I no longer participate in the traditional medical or dental system. Luckily, I have excellent health and perfect teeth probably because I reject traditional medical and dental protocols. So, I’m really glad that she shared that because like me, she had a dentist retire and I’m going to share with you a dentist perspective as to why the dentists are retiring and we are seeing the same thing in veterinary practices. I did a video for you previously. I touched upon that where these veterinarian practices are being bought out by the big corporate models, I guess you could say, and the smaller vets are deciding to just give their practice over and really retire or become an employee.
Before I go any further, I want to just touch upon this refusing these high pressure tactics for you to get your teeth x-rayed. One of my healthy Americans said, I just tell them I can’t afford it. And that ends the conversation. Another one said, I tell them I’ll do it next time and I just keep putting it off and putting it off. And then another one said, I asked to sign a waiver that I would not hold them responsible for any malpractice if I had cavities or some other condition that they didn’t catch because I didn’t get my teeth x-rayed.
So those are three very good approaches that you can take. Some people said, well, Peggy, how do I know if something’s wrong with my teeth if I don’t get them x-rayed? Well, that’s up to you and your dentist. I think what many of us are really bristling against is the excessive use or the excessive push to get x-rays like every six months. I think that is a lot. Maybe if you want to get them done every other year, every two or three years, that seems reasonable to me. What I want to do now is share with you this email that came in on my Substack.
And I’m always talking about the Substack friends because if this channel ever gets taken down by YouTube, then this is where you can find me is over at the Substack. So let me share that with you. And that is peggyhall.substack.com. And this is a response that came in to one of the articles that I did about the horrors of dentistry and why people are deciding not to go to the dentist any longer. So I just wanted to show you this is where you can get it. It’s peggyhall.substack.com. It’s absolutely free. Thank you to everyone who has upgraded to a paid subscription, which gets you a complimentary seat in our monthly private live webinars where we talk about things without censorship.
So that is a lot of fun. All right. This is from Emery, who writes about the dentist retiring. Well, it has many tentacles. There are many investment groups buying up dental practices like hotcakes. About 50% of offices are called DSOs. Let me know if you ever heard of that. Dental service organizations. Even if Dr. Molar seems to be the same old little private office, it may not be anymore secretly. Why sell out? Well, discount dental plans, traditional dental insurance rarely exist anymore, he writes, which squeezed the life out of the profession.
And now offices are on thin budgets. It cannot keep up with the cost of staff and insurance and also keep the doctor paid adequately. So they sell to this DSO, the dental service organization, for a lump sum, and they keep working for the remainder of the buyout amount. Also, we dentists usually are pretty conservative with our money and we start retirement planning before leaving dental school so we can one day retire or work part-time and help new dentists train. So when something big and invasive happens, like the hogwash, we can step aside if we are in the right financial spot.
Okay, let me take a break from his comment. Many of you told me that your dentist retired during all of the hogwash and they either were losing money because they didn’t have patients come and see them because remember, the strip clubs and the abortion clinics and the bars and the fast food were all open, of course. And of course, the dentist office were told they had to close. Makes perfect sense to people who are irrational and illogical and that’s exactly what happened. Many dentist offices closed up. I did help some healthy Americans keep their offices open and not go along with all of the hogwash and I was inundated with so many great referrals to dentists that are not doing the hard sell.
I’m still compiling those, so give me some time as I come up with that list and I’ll cover that in an upcoming video for you. So this dentist is writing and saying that another reason that the dentist offices are closing is just death. A lot of health care providers have died, including dentists in the past few years and my healthy Americans can surmise and draw a conclusion as to why. He writes there will continue to be losses. The health care school industry is in full force trying to replace the lost experienced providers, but they are being replaced by the new generation, which in general do not want to own a practice, but they want to be able to quit and move to another location whenever they want to, or maybe they just don’t want to work for a few years.
It’s going to get worse, he writes. Many practices are now cutting out these discount dental plans, formerly known as insurance, as they do not reimburse the actual cost of providing good care. Maybe they just, maybe adequate care, he writes. So how to save money going to the dentist? This should be a whole separate video, but let me tell you right now. Number one, he says, don’t eat carbs and sugar. I’m assuming he means like highly refined carbohydrates because I like carbohydrates, healthy carbohydrates, fruit and so forth, rice, other things, sweet potatoes.
He says, clean your mouth every time you get it dirty. Look for an in-house discount plan. I’m assuming that means the dentist office itself has some kind of discount plan, and then try a health care savings plan. Do not wait until it hurts. That usually means tooth loss or a root canal. Don’t believe everything you read on social media as you are your best health care advocate, and that means real research on scientific journals, not popular clickbait on social media. The Academy of General Dentists is a good starting point for a good dentist and maybe one that is a fellow or master level, but we are all individuals and so are you.
So I really appreciated that comment, and there were others where people were talking about the biological dentists, and those will be recommendations that I will put in an upcoming video. Here’s one from Sammy. Peggy, I’m a dentist in Florida. You can ask me any question you like, and I’ll answer to the best of my abilities. Let me start by saying, no, we dentists aren’t all horrible people out to get you in your money. I’m not offended by the negativity. I’m reading in some of Peggy’s newsletters, and I think he means some of the comments because I spoke in very glowing terms about my previous dentist, who sadly she sold the practice after her co-owner passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.
I spoke at how gracious she was to my mom in her final days and how she never pushed any procedures on me. So there have been plenty of comments from people who love their dentists, but of course, the negative things do rise to the top, and those are often what people latch on to so I can understand why this dentist may have only seen the negative comments. He wrote, I will say this, the vast majority of dentists are excellent, caring perfectionists, knowledgeable, down-to-earth, regular people. I’ve heard bad stories as well, but to start questioning procedures in dentistry and whether dentistry is a valid profession is taking it a little too far.
So I’m not sure who did that. I didn’t personally question whether dentistry is a valid profession. I think most of us are looking for an honest dentist, like the dentists we had that retired, that are trustworthy and also knowledgeable, and I’m going to share with you another email that came in from someone who said, well, let me just share the screen with you here. Well, actually, yeah, why not? I’ll share everything. He has his phone number as well, and you can go to his dental office. He said, Peggy, my patient sent me your message about your dentist.
There are no holistic dentists anymore that practice the truth of dentistry. My practice is based on nathology. I’ve never heard of that. Eliminating toxic modern dental materials based on galvanism of dental materials. If you would like to know the truth of dentistry, contact my office. I don’t use computers, but I have an old website, drjameyadsdare.com. It has not been updated with our last research over the past 20 years. God bless. Oh, by the way, I’ve been practicing 50 years. I haven’t had a chance to get in touch with Dr. Adzare as a dare yet, but I did go to his website and it looks really, really interesting.
So this is drjameyasdare.com. And I just wanted to read this to you because I thought it was fascinating. And there he is. And there is his one dentist chair, and he says that he is the only one in the practice. So many of you were concerned about having dental assistance. And as the other healthy American said, a whole cheering cheerleader squad. He is the one who takes care of you. So let me come off the screen and I’m going to read to you what is on his website. And I will leave that for you.
So it says, well, actually I can keep it up. Why not? You can see it as well. So it’s titled Dear Fellow Health Seekers, thank you for your interest in my unique form of classic dentistry as it would pass, as it was passed on to me from a lineage of traditional dentists that were trained at the world-renowned USC School of Dentistry and other institutions. And it is true, you know, in Southern California, you know, my home base, USC is where everybody wanted to go. And if you had a dentist that went to USC, that was someone that was thought of very highly.
It had a very good reputation. I don’t know what it’s like these days. He writes, I have had my own dental practice for over 35 years after graduating with honors from USC School of Dentistry. And this is in Los Angeles, I believe. He says, I was the inaugural officer of the Nathological Molecular Dental Reconstruction Foundation, as well as having a well-versed background in both homeopathic dentistry and cranial sacral and osteopathic training. As I say, I haven’t had a chance to speak to him yet, but I wanted to bring this information to you right away.
He wrote, in my classic dentistry training, we never worked with materials that contain toxic chemicals, plastics nor perform needless procedures that could have a negative effect on the overall health of our patients. I provide the most professional, traditional, restorative dentistry using only the finest classic materials. He calls it the Ferrari shop of dentistry. And this, I really love the description. When working together, you will be working exclusively with me as I maintain my own boutique practice that is only one classic dental chair from the 1950s. We will not rush your procedures or my processes as each tooth requires its own unique approach and attention.
At every phase of the dental restoration process, you will begin to notice subtle but profound changes, not only in your mouth, but these changes can also affect different aspects of your health and well-being. So when we do a dental restoration, your dental needs is not only the area being affected, as I work from the perspective of what is best for your entire being. So I will leave this for you in my Substack, peggyhall.substack.com, or you can go to Dr. Jamie, J-A-M-I-E as dare, A-Z-D-A-I-R.com to learn all about this and find out more.
And let’s see, I think he is, okay, Beverly Hills and Alhambra, California. So there you have it. I have people telling me that they have traveled to see a good dentist. And that will be in an upcoming video when I will compile some of the top hits that you have been sending me about great dentists in the area. Hopefully I can do this about veterinarians in broadcast in the coming days or weeks. I have been researching that as well. And many of you are sending me information about that. It’s related because we want to stay healthy.
We want to have the healthy teeth, a healthy life, healthy pets, healthy family, healthy heart, healthy soul, all of the above. And that’s why this is called the healthy American. I want to help you live fully and freely in body, mind, spirit. And I appreciate you being a part of our healthy American family here. I have learned so much from you, especially as we’re talking about natural care for the teeth and be sure to watch my other videos where I touch on that as well, as including how to go to the dentist without getting x-rays.
All right, friends, thank you for being on board. And I look forward to seeing you in an upcoming broadcast always over at peggyhall.substack.com. [tr:trw].
