The Court has, again, pushed them for conference this Friday, which is the 24th. They did this yesterday. It was official. So, how do I see this playing out? It could be good. It could be bad. I think, personally, I’m having some conversations with people here at SHOT Show who are pretty high-level individuals. The hope is that we’re going to get something Monday from them. So, they’ll conference it Friday, and then Monday the order list will come out from the Supreme Court. It appears as the possibility of the will is two possibilities. They could, three possibilities. They could just keep kicking it down the line.

They can deny certiorari, which they would have already done, if we’re being honest, because there were two other Second Amendment cases they were considering, and they denied cert for those. And they’ve kept these, which means they probably are going to issue certiorari, because as, especially as a Second Amendment case, if it gets pushed back a couple times for multiple conferences, it means they’re actually considering taking the case up. Maybe they’re doing a little background. Maybe they’re getting some of the other justices who might not be up to snuff on, you know, the bans on commonly-owned items that, you know, violates Heller-Bruin, McDonald’s Second Amendment Constitution, as well as the magazine bans, which is an arbitrary number put on by some government individual who thinks they know what number of things in your mag keep you safe, which is asinine.

So, Friday they will reconference it, and Monday we’ll have the order list. I want you to have the latest on these two cases. I think, I hope, that they’re going to take the cases up, and they’ll announce it this Friday, because this week might be the, probably is the last opportunity that we have for the court to hear these cases this session, meaning if they do issue certiorari, take up the case, hear the oral arguments, we could still have a hearing come the end of June of 2025. I’m hearing an order. That’s when they issue the orders.

They could have a decision. If they push it back another week, the next one, I don’t think I have my calendar open here, but the next one is like February, that’s like the second week of February. Then it’s definitely going to be in the next session for the Supreme Court, which means if they do take it up, do the oral arguments, the decision would be probably rendered in June of 2026. So hopefully it’s going to be done this week. Monday I will have the update for you. If we hear anything Friday, sometimes we hear things early on Friday, so stay tuned to the channel.
