The war rages on against President Trump, of course, and Doge and Elon Musk. And now those who plan to assault and fight these initiatives, if you will, that majority of America voted President Trump in on are going to now use veterans to fight back. This is an interesting one. Um, so sit back, guys. We today we’re going to discuss this idea that there was a protest in front of the headquarters of the VA in Washington D.C. which by the way is about a block and a half from the White House of a bunch of Democratic senators and a bunch of union people and supporters out there voicing their humble opinions about the attack on the VA and how President Trump is coming after veterans and gonna, he’s going to ensure that they get no care because he wants to fire workers and, and cut spending and take money away.

So that equates to him not giving a shit about veterans. So that’s what we’re going to discuss today. It’s quite an interesting take that the author of this, this article wrote. I find this comical because it’s such a, such a drastic 180 that our bureaucrats and our politicians have taken all of these, all of these Democratic and some Republican politicians, leaders in our government, if you want to call them leaders, in my opinion, have completely flipped the script on things that they think are important.

And let’s just, let’s just very shortly talk about usaid, right, and all of the things that were found. We don’t need to go through the list. Everybody’s heard the massive amounts of money that were being wasted and are still being wasted because of court orders and this and that or whatever. But these bureaucrats and these politicians, now, they don’t want to cut any spending. Now they’re pissed that the government wants to take spending away, take money away from things that don’t make any sense. And then they like to spin it to, to suit their narrative, which is nothing new.

Right? Like, I’m not telling any of you anything that you don’t know and that you haven’t seen or read or been exposed to before. But it becomes, it becomes a little more frustrating when we’re talking about, like, VA issues and not government, but military and VA issues, because people talk all the time about how these issues, when it comes to veterans and military budgets and readiness and how we’re taking care of the men and women who bore the burden of this country. It all becomes a sensitive conversation for folks when we start talking about money. But I believe that the Department of Veterans affairs, just like the dod, our military, Department of Defense, which is, which manages our military, we should, we should be questioning their spending, too.

We should be questioning everybody’s spending, in my opinion. And I guess I have a hard time figuring out why anybody has a problem with that when, when we’re all a lot less rich, we’re all a lot less full in the pocket, in the, less full in our wallets than we have been in the recent past. And there’s a lot of allegations out there. There’s a lot of people saying a lot of things about where money is being spent and where it’s being, where it’s being sent to, who has control, who’s grease in the palms of who.

And now we got people volunteering their time and they’re fine finding billions of dollars. President Trump loves to say it. Billions. I mean, billions of dollars. And they’re pissed about it. Doesn’t make any sense to me. And so, like, well, I’ll stop talking about that because it’s not really. I mean, it’s kind of linked to what we were here to talk about today, but it’s not the topic. So I want to breeze through this because it’s crazy. But what I’ll tell you is that this article was posted on Military Military Times and it’s titled Protesters Demand VA Oppose the Trump Efforts to Trim the Federal Workforce.

The reason why, and it was posted on February 13, which was Thursday, I believe. And the reason I tell you that is because if you, if you care enough and you’re interested in looking it up. Attached to this article is a video that PBS News put out and it’s like an hour and three minutes long, but it’s the whole demonstration put on by Senator Blumenthal and Amy Klobuchar was out there and everyone’s talking, they’re all talking about all these, all these promises that, that America has made to its nation’s veterans. And, and now that that President Trump has Elon Musk, who’s not an elected official but has been, I believe he’s been labeled like a special government employee.

He’s been given a security clearance or something like that. And, and all this other stuff. And he’s working for free along with all these other, all these other brainiacs, all these other super smart individuals that I believe, if I, if I remember correctly, are also donating their time to help with this and they’re finding some pretty egregious shit. So these guys stood for over an hour outside, outside the headquarters of the VA and talked about all of the things that President Trump is going to take away from veterans. He’s going to take away beds from the icu.

He’s going to take away, and lay off doctors and nurses and put on hiring freezes of doctors and nurses and essential personnel. Personnel, essential personnel in these facilities, VA facilities all across the country. And veterans aren’t going to get the care they need in VA facilities because we’re going to cut the workforce and we’re going to cut the budget. We’re going to, we’re going to chop up this massive, massive, massive $300 billion budget. And now veterans are going to be left out in the cold. And so that’s what they talk about in this hour long video where they’re all talking outside, bundled up, stroking each other’s egos.

You could probably get through about two or three minutes of each of these people talking before you fast forward to the next one. And then before you, before long, if you make it through the whole hour, good on you. But I couldn’t do It. But. So let’s just buzz through this thing. So, on this last Thursday, I believe, February 13th, several, several dozen Veteran affairs employees joined Democratic lawmakers outside the department’s Washington, D.C. headquarters to protest President Trump’s funding cuts for veterans programs. Hmm. Did he announce funding cuts for veterans programs? Hmm. But they snuck in the word potential, potential staff cuts and potential funding cuts for veterans programs, accusing the White House of not doing enough to ensure their government reform efforts won’t hurt veterans.

So this is their perception. They are, they perceive that what’s going to happen is going to hurt veterans. Nobody said anything about cutting any veteran programs. The event, complete with signs reading Save our va, Stop the Bleeding, and Protect Our Veterans, was held amid the closure of multiple federal offices. In recent weeks. We’ve, We’ve saw a lot of federal offices close, and this is all part of President Trump’s promises to shrink the size of the federal government. Last week, Veteran affairs officials confirmed they are working with officials from the Department of Government Efficiency on ways to reform agency appropriate operations.

But they instead. Man, I don’t. This can’t be. This can’t be. This can’t be. It can be true. I can completely believe that it is true. But what I have a hard time understanding is how they think that this is helpful. What kind of support do they hope to garner by standing out there coddling each other with words for an hour, putting it out on pbs? Whether it was meant to or not, I guess remains to be seen. But they had a podium with a microphone. What’s the, what’s the point? I mean, are VA workers really concerned? Are they really concerned about being cut? And maybe they are.

Maybe they are concerned. But aren’t we all, as Americans, concerned about the fact that this country is maybe, maybe we can say was, or maybe we still say is on the brinks of complete financial collapse. Doesn’t that concern all of these people? And maybe that’s why. Maybe that’s why the common, everyday American believes that a lot of these bureaucrats and politicians are getting kickbacks. They’re getting their palms greased by all this money being spent. Because why else would they be so opposed to the American people’s tax dollars not being wasted or spent frivolously in any aspect.

You know, what I find interesting is that myself and a few other guys, we just recently started our own nonprofit. We started our own nonprofit to try to raise money to do veterans projects in our community and hopefully grow it to do veterans projects outside of our community as well. And once you start down that path and you start to understand that if you make one slip up, you might be okay. But if you start slipping up a couple times a year or it becomes repetitive, they’re going to shut your ass down and then they’re going to fine you to the.

To hell. They’re going to find the shit out of you, and then you can’t operate. So if you do enough of the hard work to get a nonprofit up and running and working and making money and helping people and doing what you set out to do with that organization, and if it’s true that you are committed to doing the right thing and actually helping people and not being a scam artist or not doing anything egregious, they shut you down, even if you make an honest mistake. But here, there’s no accountability. They can make mistake after mistake and hide it, then lie about it, or in some cases, just shrug it off.

Not really admit to it, but not really deny it. Just kind of shrug it off and continue on to lunch and then back to business as usual. And when. And if anybody is suffering or left without or anything else, whatever. I got to go. I got to get to lunch. I mean, the. And maybe it was the inappropriate time to stop and, and throw that in there, but I’ve already read this, and I watched the video as long as I could. And so, like, this, this whole thing kind of just gets you pissed off all over again when you, when you, when you revisit it.

It’s nuts, but let’s keep going. So the VA Secretary, Mr. Collins, continued on by saying there’s a rumor going around right now about veterans benefits being cut. I’m the secretary, and I’ll let you know right now that ain’t happening, he said. He continued on by saying there’s also a rumor about Doge taking personal information. We have those representatives here doing what they’re supposed to be doing. They’re looking at our contracts and making sure that we have the best run facilities for efficiency to make sure veterans get the care they need. Well, isn’t that all what we want? Or shouldn’t we? Isn’t that what we all should be striving for? What’s the question? I’m guessing that part of the question is, well, we don’t believe that that’s really happening.

How are we to know that you’re really doing all that? I’m sure, um, let’s say. But the speakers at the. At the rally on Thursday outside the office. The speakers at Thursday’s rally said that those assurances aren’t enough. They want firm promises. Firm promises from the White House and from Secretary Collins that they are not going to cut any staffing at VA and to create firewalls between department operations and billionaire Elon Musk, who is leading the White House efficiency efforts. This is where it’s interesting to me. Um. Here’s Senator Blumenthal. Slimy son of a. He stepped up to the podium and said, Elon Musk, 9 million veterans are watching.

You give them the middle finger, and we’re not gonna stand for it. Hmm. He continued on by saying, we’re gonna fight plans to slash and trash the. We’re gonna fight. We’re going to fight plans to slash and trash the VA in the biggest power grab and heist valuable information and money in our nation’s history. That’s a hell of a. That’s a hell of an. An accusation coming from the ranking member of the Committee of Veterans Affairs. And look at my. Shit’s falling apart. I mean, we just can’t. We can’t have. We can’t get anything correct here today.

Thanks for rolling with us, folks. But this guy. This guy’s the ranking member, so he’s the minority leader in the Committee of Veterans affairs, and he’s standing here in the middle of a sidewalk on the street, protesting. He’s protesting that somebody is taking a look into the VA’s books and contracts and programs to make sure that, one, veterans are getting quality care based on where money’s being spent, and two, that the money’s being spent wisely in other places. And isn’t it interesting. Isn’t it interesting, folks, that they want. What did they say here isn’t interesting that they want.

They want the president and Secretary Collins to create a firewall between the VA and Elon Musk and the efficiency department. Why would that be? Why would we need to create a firewall so they can’t see anything? What are we hiding, folks? Hmm. It’s interesting to me. Article goes on to say, last month, Veterans affairs officials used guidance exempting more than 300,000 department health care posts from the White House’s federal hiring freeze, labeling them as essential to public health and department operations. Interesting, but about 35% of department posts could still be impacted by the pause in hiring.

Speakers at the rally said it could have a significant impact on veterans care and. And benefits. Well, let me tell you something, guys. There’s been a hiring freeze at the VA for quite a while. There hasn’t been a new hiring freeze in four weeks or five weeks. However long President Trump spent in office. Four weeks. He didn’t start the hiring freeze. He maybe just extended it. So let’s not, let’s not, let’s not just this is fake, fake news. This is fake news. Let’s not put the cart before the horse. There’s been a hiring freeze going on at VA for quite a while, for quite a bit.

President Trump, DOGE and VA leadership have launched an all out attack on the federal workforce like none ever before, said Everett Kelly, who is the national President of the American Federation of Government Employees. Now they want to do nothing more than sink their claws into the VA’s 300 billion dollar budget and funnel that money into corporate health. Hmm. Well, I got a theory about this. A theory about this, Mr. Everett Kelly. How about that the $300 billion budget isn’t being wasted or taken away from in ICU beds. It’s not being wasted or taken away from at a CBOT clinic where they need extra blood draw equipment or they need an extra nurs or an extra CNA or maybe even an extra audiologist.

Maybe that’s not where we need to take money from. These aren’t the things that are that are tugging on the ball sack of the VA and making it impossible. But see, they don’t ever want to tell you all the other things that are going on that are eating up millions and millions and millions of dollars. They don’t want to tell you any of that. How much money a year does the Department of Veterans affairs spend testing on animals and researching on animals? Why would the U.S. department of Veterans affairs need to have massive animal research projects going on? Why would they need to do that? What’s that about? Isn’t the primary mission of the VA to take care of United States of America military veterans? I understand that some people will label some veterans as animals at times and we probably can be when the situation dictates.

Or maybe we have a little too much drink. But animals? Why are we testing on animals? How many millions, dare I say billions of dollars are spent on contracts outside of the VA facility? Mr. Everett Kelly, you’re the guy that’s supposed to be responsible for keeping the unions together and keeping VA employees unionized and keeping the union strong, keeping federal employees together, keeping keeping all of that in order? Hmm? Why are we talking about the, the billions of dollars that the VA wastes on contracts outside of the federal government? I mean, we could revisit the va, the VA Family Caregiver caregiver program and how many millions and millions and probably by now, billions of dollars the corrupt Elizabeth Dole foundation has taken from the federal government, AKA the va.

How many, how many VA contracts has Elizabeth Dole foundation wasted on God knows what? How much money has that, that turd in the, in the dog dish Meg Cabot wasted? Who also is destroying the lives of caregivers and their veterans? How many other programs that aren’t very widely used but serve veterans who are most in need? Some of our most highly wounded men and women, they’re treating them. How about those contracts? Don’t you think that if we stop paying contracts out to organizations to provide services to veterans outside VA facilities, and then those contracts outside of VA facilities, whoever they’re paid to, who’s also greasing the VA people that are giving them the contracts to the tune of millions and millions of dollars? Do you think that if those millions and sometimes maybe even billions of dollars aren’t spent on contracts so they come back and grease the.

The bureaucrats like maybe Mr. Blumenthal and maybe, maybe Ms. Klobuchar and all those other fucking turds standing out there, maybe if we weren’t spending money outside the VA system to provide care for veterans and we hired good quality people inside the VA system, maybe we wouldn’t have to spend all that money and maybe we could have more federal employees working at the va. Do we ever stop to think about that? Or are we just going to stand on some sidewalk and talk some bullshit about ICU beds and waiting room furniture and some other dumbass shit like that? That’s pennies.

Nobody cares about that. Not over the millions and millions of dollars that are being funneled out of the VA system to community programs somewhere in the community where veterans still can’t get the care they need. But boy, there’s really nice office spaces out there in the employee parking lots. Got a few really nice cars in them. But then all the guys that are in, gals that are sitting at the front desk, they’re all driving puddle jumpers, jalopies, but the folks upstairs are driving nice cars. How about that? Why don’t we talk about that on the sidewalk? And we’re going to see.

We’re going to see where all this stuff is going. And I can’t tell you guys enough how much I really, I really, really hope. I’m so hopeful that Elon and his, and his group of guys and gals, whoever he’s got with him that is doing all this work, I hope that he finds how corrupt the Elizabeth Dole foundation is. And I hope that they get called out, and I hope that they get shut down, and I hope that people over there get prosecuted and never work to serve veterans again. Because all they’re doing is making money on the backs of the people that have sacrificed everything for this country and they’re fucking them over just to make money.

And you know what? It’ll be really sweet. It’ll be really sweet for people like Robin Stitt and her family and all of those other men and women that are caregivers for these amazing veterans that are most in need. I hope that they find it. That would be. That’d be the icing on the cake, man, along with many other things. I mean, don’t get me wrong, there’s probably a lot of things that need to come out, but that one’s near and dear to this show because they did a lot of work to advocate for themselves, and they still do.

And they’re still getting screwed over time after time after time again. And now that we have somebody looking into all of it, man, I hope the Elizabeth Dole foundation goes down. I hope all those corrupt son of a bitches that used to sit on that on the committee, the advisory committee, I hope all of them get exposed. All those nonprofits and organizations that were getting money on the backs of these men and women on the backs of this program, I hope they’re all exposed. If they’re guilty, and I hope they have to answer for it. And what would be the best justice is if they had to look these people in the face.

Look them in the face. You had the balls to fuck them over for years. Look them in the face and tell them why you did it. That’ll never happen, I’m sure, but they certainly deserve it. And you should certainly be required to have the testicular fortitude and the intestinal fortitude to look these people in the face and tell them why you. Why you screwed them over time and time and time again. But you won’t. You’ll turn around and walk away and probably with a smile on your face because the checks already in the bank. Man, I got heated. I got really heated because it’s hard for me. It’s hard for me to take in the mentality of some folks. It’s hard for me to take in their way of thinking. And maybe it’s plausible that people like me who get passionate about some of these things don’t know enough. Maybe it’s true, they don’t know enough. But I do a fair amount of talking to people. I do a fair amount of reading, especially on the things that I choose to talk to you about. And of course, at times, I’m sure there’s things over all these.

All these weeks that I’ve gotten wrong. But when we talk about things of this nature, it becomes extra frustrating because every time, Every time there’s an election cycle and every time we as Americans are looking to cast a vote. If this population of people, veterans, are important to you, and if the topics that surround this population of people are important to you and are something that you look at to help determine where your vote is going to be cast, this stuff is super frustrating and becomes extra frustrating because it doesn’t seem to be all that complicated to find if you just pay attention a little bit and if you just dig a little deeper than what’s on the surface.

And I think that for me, the part that pisses me off the most is that I wish that. I wish that they would just have never told us. I wish that the government just would never have told veterans that they were going to take care of him. Just don’t say anything. Just don’t commit to it. And I’m. And I’m sure that there would be like some. There’d be some backlash, right? There’d be something like somebody would have something to say about it, of course. But this idea that. That we as young adults decide to walk into a recruiting station, you.

You sign up, you talk to this recruiter, you sign up for the military, whatever branch it is you pick, you go down, you take the test, you do the underwear Olympics, you get approved, you get a waiver if you need it, you do all the stuff, and then you get in the room with, you know, sometimes by yourself or, you know, multiple other people, whoever’s there to enlist, and you stand there and you raise your hand and you take the oath of enlistment. You take an oath to this country. And when you do that, it’s kind of like solidifying the deal, right? It’s kind of like the old days.

You Know like my father in law, well, he says a lot of stuff. He’s a great man. He’s a Navy veteran and he likes to tell the story about how he, he bought his first house, him and my mother in law, when he was like 20 years old or something. And he just got home from the Navy and he went on a Sunday, looked at a house, he liked it, put a down payment the next day he went to the bank, got the money, went back to the guy, whoever the realtor was, gave him the cash, shook his hand, the guy, gave him keys to his house.

Done deal. A handshake, of course, the cash, of course. But they solidified the purchase of a home by a handshake. Here’s your key, here’s your cash. Thank you for your business. Enjoy your new house. And so like the oath of enlistment in a certain way, in my opinion is kind of like solidifying the deal with a handshake. Because they tell you all this stuff that you’re going to do the tests and the underwear Olympics and the oath of enlistment and this is the process and here’s the paperwork and this and that and blah blah, blah. So this is all good.

Well, you’re going to sign here, right? You’re going to sign your paperwork before you go to MEPs. Or maybe they do it at MEPs now, maybe it’s a lot different now, but the last step you take is to go into that room, raise your hand and take the oath. And maybe, maybe now it’s not the last step. When I enlisted, it was the last step you took. And that’s when it kind of all becomes real because it’s like your first official action as a soldier. And you walk out of that room and you kind of have a different, you kind of have a different just take on who you are in one day.

Now you got there in the morning, you did all the stuff by early to mid afternoon. You’re now a soldier. Like that is transformational in your life. Whether you know it or not at the time, it’s transformational in your life. And you ended that whole interaction, that whole transaction, if you will. You just wrote the proverbial blank check to the United States of America for the cost up into your life. And you solidified it by raising your hand and taking the oath and agreeing to come back and get on the plane whenever your time to go is to go to training.

And part of that deal is, hey man, we expect you to live by these values. Here’s the warrior ethos, this is the code. Here’s all the stuff. You’re now an American soldier. So here’s the material. Learn it, live by it. This is your new set of standards, hopefully. And in return for your hard work, your dedication, all of those things, your allegiance, we’re going to make sure. We’re going to make sure that if anything happens to you in service to this country, don’t worry about it. As far as your medical stuff, any needs you have that pertain to your injuries or whatever, anything medical, if it’s due to your service, the United States government is going to take care of it.

Roger that. And now it becomes time for the United States government to take care of. Doesn’t always work out the way they told you when you solidified your deal. To me, that’s bullshit. And now you also have to understand that they’ll tell you, well, we’re only, we’re only one, only one agency and there’s a lot of veterans and we got to make sure everyone and blah blah, blah and this and that and yada yada. Yep, all right. But keep in mind you’re just one agency with more than $300 billion a year. $300 billion a year to take care of 6% of the nation’s population.

And maybe I’m mistaken, but to me that sounds like an ass load of money and not a very high percentage. But I could be wrong. But then again, this is why, exactly why Elon and Elon and his crew should be going through these agencies. This is exactly why he should be doing what he’s doing. Is it plausible that it should take 300 plus billion dollars to treat veterans in this country? Is that enough money? Is it too much? Is it just enough? Don’t we as Americans, as taxpayers, don’t we want to know that? Why would we have a problem? And that’s what I have a hard time understanding.

I don’t get why we would fight that. And as a former investigator, those are questions that pop up in my mind. There’s a whole slurry of questions that pop up in my mind. But you know, like when these things come out, it reminds me of times when Stu and I would be sitting in a truck when we were bounty hunting and we would just gather new information on whatever file we were working on and go, oh, I wonder why that is. Wonder what that’s about. And then you start brainstorming and, well, that doesn’t make any sense.

But we’ll write that down as, you know, like option five or six. What makes the Most sense. And let’s start chasing that. And I’ll tell you, it was pretty rare that we got down to option five or six usually. And I’ll tell. I mean, bounty hunting and probably for sure isn’t the same as government and VA budgets and things like that. But if it. If it sounds like a duck and it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, well, it’s a fucking duck, right? Or at least until you confirm that it’s not. So why wouldn’t we chase that? And so the only reason I can really think of that all these people would be staunchly against this type of audit, maybe you can consider it a forensic audit, is that they got something to hide.

And so I think the American people are asking, well, what the hell are we hiding? What are we hiding that we don’t want to know? And why are all these Americans who are not in government just average everyday American citizens who are Democrats or even Republicans that are staunchly against this? Why is it going to cut programs? Maybe. Are they essential? Maybe not. Is there going to be people that might miss out on something? Maybe. But guess what, then the agency just has to figure out how to treat people that need extra things. But to have whole programs that are sucking millions of dollars out of the budget that aren’t necessary for a vast majority, well, that’s unnecessary.

We don’t need whole programs and whole departments. Can’t you have one or two of those doctors that specialize in, like, gangrenous bunions work in the same clinic with the people that do regular bunions? Like, do we need. Do we need a department within the VA system that just does bunions with gangrene? And we’ll give them a couple hundred million dollars to operate, and they’ll be completely separate in the facility from the other unit that does bunions, but theirs doesn’t have gangrene? I mean, things like that. Why would we. Why would we separate that? It’s a whole lot of money just to separate similar services.

And I don’t. I mean, the bunion thing is not a. Not a real issue. May I? Maybe it is, but I just made that up. But it’s all kinds of just ask backwards, backdoor stuff. Somebody came up with an idea that, well, we should have this to. To treat the 25 veterans in America that have this. We’re gonna need. We’re gonna need, you know, like $50 million to do it, though. Can we. Can we get. Yeah, yeah, no problem. Here, take it. 50 while you’re 75. Find a contractor and, you know, pay him a little extra to make sure that, you know, he’s providing good care and good services.

Don’t worry. Just make sure he spends all of it in a year so he gets the same or more next year. And we’ll just keep that contract going as long as people don’t complain, no problem. It’s the U.S. government. We’ll just print more money. That’s how it seems that it’s been. If you ask me, I don’t want to contribute to that. There are a lot of other things going on in our country that I would choose to send my tax dollars to if I had a choice. But we do not get a choice. The only thing we really have a choice on is who.

Who we vote for. And to be quite honest, the jury’s still out about that. I mean, yeah, Donald Trump won, and what they’re saying was a landslide victory, but, I mean, our local elections, not rigged? I don’t know. It depends on who you ask. There’s always somebody that has an idea, and sometimes there’s somebody that has a pretty good story conjured up to make it sound believable. But I think that these Hunyuks who were standing on the sidewalk on Thursday, they’re just blowing smoke. They’re blowing smoke to get people all riled up. You had. The secretary of the VA came out and said the things that you’re worried about is not what’s happening.

That’s not what we’re doing here. And nobody has any reason, in my opinion, not to believe Secretary Collins. Nobody’s ever claimed that he’s a liar. Is he a piece of shit? Just because Donald Trump nominated him to be the Secretary of the va? I don’t know about that. But what are. What are. What are we going to do about it now? Just like the last administration, we couldn’t do anything about everything that Joe Biden and his administration was doing. No matter how loud we screamed from the mountaintops, no matter how much we rebelled, no matter how much we boycotted, no matter how much we did anything, I do not know that much could have been affected by any of that.

Because the unfortunate part is that if they. Paul, the government, politicians and bureaucrats, if they decide that they don’t want to hear you and they don’t want to listen to what it is we, the American people, have to say, they’re not gonna. And they’re gonna make their rules anyway. And if we don’t follow them, well, I guess we’re gonna end up in the Huskow. But nobody has time for that shit. Nobody’s got time to deal with all this bullshit going on. People are trying to, trying to figure out a way to just live happily and not be bothered, keep their family safe and keep them fed and save some money and leave something for their kids when they die and do all kinds of things.

Which is why Cortez Wealth Management is out there. I mean, this isn’t like another plug for him. But seriously, people like Carlos Cortez are the kind of guys that are saying, well, you know, there’s a lot of, there’s a lot of bullshit going on, so let’s figure out how you can have those things. Let’s figure out how you can leave something for your kid, leave some money, leave some real estate, leave something for your kids. Because if not, if we don’t do it for ourselves now, we’re going to be too broke to do anything later for our children or maybe even ourselves.

So who knows, who knows what the future holds? But I think that if, if we sit and wait to see what the future holds without trying to affect the future ourselves and try to do something positive for ourselves and our community and the people that are important to us, we’re gonna get railroaded. And so when we see things like this and we see these dumbass politicians standing on sidewalks conjuring up a bunch of fear and a bunch of misguided information, or at the very best, incomplete information, it’s not helpful for anybody. All they’re doing is trying to scare you into, into resisting Donald Trump.

And that’s all they care. So as usual, like I tell a lot of people having conversations such as this, do your research. Do your own research. If anybody really thinks that the, one of the biggest problems in the VA system is that budget cuts is going to affect only ICU beds and staffing and water purification systems and lobby furniture and things like that, you’re sadly, sadly mistaken. Because that is bottom of the barrel stuff. Like maybe that is affected or will be affected. But I’m telling you, the stuff at top, the contracts, the in depth, super expensive programs like the caregiver program that are very, very unique and very delicate, that have massive budgets that aren’t going to the veterans that they’re meant to go to, if those things were fixed, we wouldn’t have to worry.

But I see you beds there’d be money for appropriate number of ICU beds and beautiful lobby furniture. If that’s important. Don’t be tricked. Do your own research.
