In a world of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. It’s the David Knight Show. As the clock strikes 13, it’s Tuesday, the 29th of April, year of our Lord 2025. Well, we’ve seen the blackout in Spain and Portugal, parts of France, even parts of Belgium. We will look at what was behind that. And of course, it is. I think my opinion, I’ll tell you why I think this. I think it is politician assisted suicide. And of course, we have a lot of physician assisted suicide that is paid for by politicians as well. But we’re gonna take a look at the blackout, plus we’re gonna take a look at what Trump was able to do in Canada, and that is get Mark Carney elected as premier.
Yeah, you think that Trudeau was bad. This guy is one of like putting in George H.W. bush, the former head of the CIA and as president. This is a central banker of central bankers. And yeah, Poliev is not really conservative on social issues, but Trump really threw them under the bus, turning that completely around. And we’ll take a look at the first 100 days of Trump as they are coming up. Do we have, should we call him Dictator? Don, we’ll be right back. Well, you know, Poliev, the Conservative had a large lead. The Conservative Party did.
And again, Conservative, it’s a relative term. I think Max Bernier is more along the lines of what we would think. But I don’t know enough about any of these guys. I do know that Poliev is not conservative on some key, key issues. However, he is not the radical extremists that Mark Carney is. When you talk about globalism, this would be like Trump getting Klaus Schwab elected as head of Germany. And it’s basically what Trump did. It is, you know, he’s. Poliev said at the last minute, the day before the election, Trump is tweeting out about the Canadian election and throwing trolling Canada about being the 51st state yet again.
And it was very difficult for Poilievre to distance himself from Trump because people think that Trump is a conservative. They think that he’s a nationalist. They think that he embraces conservative policies, and everybody’s afraid to criticize him. And this is a good example, and this is, folks, an example of what’s going to happen to the Republican Party as well in the next election. Poliev tells Trump to stay out of Canada’s elections. Trump yet again suggested that Canada would become the 51st state. He said on Monday, Trump said good luck to the great people of Canada, elect the man who has the strength and the wisdom to cut your taxes in half, increase your military power for free to the highest level in the world, have your car, your steel, your aluminum, your lumber, your energy, and all the other businesses quadruple in size with zero tariffs or taxes if Canada becomes a cherished 51st state of the United States of America.
Well, again, yeah. So, yeah, vote for the conservative who will make all that stuff happen. He’s pushing people to Mark Carney. Did he do it deliberately? Is he like the Manchurian Candidate of the globalist? I really do believe that he is. You have people looking at the economic chaos that he’s unleashed and about the. Essentially the lockdown and busting the supply chains like he did five years ago, picking right back up where he started or he left off, I should say. And a lot of people are saying, you know, it’s hard to believe that this isn’t even deliberate, the chaos.
It’s so ridiculous and absurd that he’s. What he’s doing. And I said, well, you know, when we get to it, I’ll tell you, I think that it is deliberate. I think it is deliberate as a cons, not as a conspiracy theorist, but as a conspiracy researcher. And if you look at what he’s doing, I think this is all deliberate. I think this is deliberate. How could he not realize how that was going to be perceived? Is he really that clueless? I mean, could Trump really be that stupid? Everybody is talking about how the 51st state trolling stuff was harming the conservatives in Canada.
Could he really be that clueless? No, he did it deliberately. So Poliev says, president Trump, stay out of our election. The only people who will decide the future of Canada are Canadians of the ballot box. Canada will always be proud, sovereign and independent, and we will never be the 51st state. He puts him on defensive. And of course, the odor of, you know, Trump has made conservatism odious, odious to people and folks. He’s not a conservative. He’s not a conservative socially, economically, in any way, shape or form. He doesn’t want to conserve the Constitution, wants to get rid of it.
He’s not conservative about anything. He is a New York Democrat, pal of Jeffrey Epstein and the Clintons. He is the Manchurian Conservative. So Mark Carney vows to provide sterilizing puberty blockers for children, without exception. Can we look at the social issues and so forth. But again, when you look at his campaigning on abortion, as Lifesite News said, unfortunately, so is Poliev as well. And Poliev also embraces climate change. Climate change. But look, Mark Carney is even more of a globalist. Carney is the central bank globalist. Think about the fact this is a Canadian guy who is head of the bank of Canada.
They made him head of the bank of England. That’s unprecedented. He’s been head of both the Canadian and then the English, the British central bank. So this is the perfect person to be in place for the great financial reset, which is what’s going to happen to us in the next couple of years. So Canada is in the dark. Canada is benighted. But so Spain and Portugal, quite literally, and also because of their politicians, a problem with the European electrical system. Yeah, that’s exactly what it was. A lot of people. Was this a hack? Was this. It wasn’t an EMP or anything.
No, it was the electrical system going down. And they did it to themselves, just like Texas did it to themselves about four years ago and across several countries. No emp, no hack, just politician Assisted suicide of the west, which is happening everywhere 45 years after the first Earth Day. This is what we’ve got. A major power outage reported in Spain, Portugal, including their capitals, and stretching over into some other countries as well, hit several regions of the country just after noon yesterday. They said it was due to a problem with the European electrical system. Yeah, they destroyed it on purpose just six days after they announced that they had achieved net zero.
So everybody’s saying, yeah, net zero, net zero electricity, net zero everything. And we know that’s where this is all headed. And we know that this is not a workable solution. Folks, I was involved in the first lawsuit against the first renewable energy mandates in the United States in Colorado, and worked with a group. I was doing the videos for them explaining what was going on as they were raising funds for the legal challenge against Colorado. They lost. We tried to get the data from Michael Mann. We lost. But you got to try. And, you know, if we had won, that would have stopped this stuff.
If they gotten the data, we could have shown what a fraud the guy was from the beginning. But they allowed him to keep it quiet, keep it secret, keep it safe, as Gandalf would say. Right. Because that’s about the ring of power. It’s just a hockey stick, but it is their ring of power. So when we look at these renewable energy mandates, we always said, it’s not going to work. It’s going to take the grid down. Well, here we are. And this is now, I guess, about 15 years later, and here’s where we are. Company said it was compelled to cut power in specific areas to stabilize the network.
It was not possible to make calls on mobile phone networks throughout, though some apps were working. The subway stopped working. The airports were jammed as well. You got people there in the subway, there in the dark, right as they’re having to try to get the trains stopped. They were locked inside the trains for quite some time. Then they let them get out and some of the people, they said, had to carry their luggage up 15 flights of steps. That’s pretty amazing, especially for elderly people. So six days after celebrating 100% renewable power, Spain blames rare atmospheric phenomenon on the nation’s largest blackout in history.
Yeah, they’re still blaming CO2 on this, right? CO2. It’s rare, it’s rare. It’s 0.04% of the atmosphere. So I guess that CO2’s fault. It was CO2’s fault. Because of CO2 being rare, they had to shut everything down. And that’s where they are now. Six days ago, they celebrated Spain’s national grid being operated entirely on renewable energy for the first time. This wasn’t just a Spanish blackout, of course. It shook the entire European grid. None of this should have been a surprise. I said the underlying physics have been understood for years. The specific vulnerabilities have been spelled out repeatedly in technical warnings about this.
As the grid becomes faster and lighter and far more sensitive to disruptions. It spelled out a public warning. As far back as 2017, political leaders promised that renewable energy would provide stable, affordable power in practice. And yet it didn’t, did it? And a lot of people passing around this thing of the Simpsons going back, they said a couple of years ago that they predicted this. I’ll show you the clip and then I’ll tell you what’s really true about it. Predicted that April 30, 2025, is the day everything comes to a stop. A simple coincidence or a warning we shouldn’t ignore.
In a long forgotten episode from 1998 titled the Last Day of Springfield, a massive blackout throws the entire city into darkness. No lights, no cars. The city is completely frozen. Even Homer’s nuclear power plant shuts down. Just before everything cuts out, a digital calendar flashes one last time. April 30, Professor Frink runs around screaming and flailing his arms. It’s the end. While Kent Brockman stares straight into the camera with a chilling smile. Back to the Stone Age. But it doesn’t stop there. In a 2013 episode, Mr. Burns drops an eerie line. The end of energy has already been sketched scheduled.
Too many coincidences. Hold on. In a 2007 episode, Lisa holds a book titled the Last Day of Civilization. And on the COVID the date April 30, 2025. A global blackout, A full collapse of the Internet. Or maybe something even worse. Subscribe To Learn more yeah. Clickbait, clickbait. No, the Simpsons did not predict a blackout on April 30, 2025. By the way, that’s tomorrow. It wasn’t yesterday, but you know, that’s tomorrow. By the way, tomorrow will be my 70th birthday and my 2000th show. How about that? Go together. I started numbering the episodes a few months ago.
I didn’t realize that. But by the way, while we’re talking about personal things, Imarty has agreed and I talked about this yesterday, has agreed to match funds today on all platforms. So we really do appreciate what Marty is doing because we’re way behind here. We are next to the last day of the month and we are way behind it this month. So we really do appreciate that. Thank you, Marty. And so if you want to leave subscriptions or subscriptions, we see not the subscriptions but the tips on kick. I see four. Love of the Road has gifted three subscriptions.
Thank you very much. And by the way, we have some news that you probably know being in the trucking industry about what these tariffs are about to do and have done to the trucking industry. And we stop and think about truckers, farmers, small businessmen. These tariffs are going to be disastrous for that segment of the economy. But hey, you’re not essential, not to Trump, right? So I said, this is going back to 2020. Hillary Clinton called you deplorable. Trump called you non essential, non essential. He still believes that on rumble nights of the storm. Thank you very much for the tip.
I appreciate that. And they reminded me to tell everybody that I’m Marty is doing tip matching today. And Militant Malakovic, thank you very much. He says a big thank you to Marty for matching donations. So yeah, it was the symptoms was not a thing. But here’s what really was a thing. They talked about how there was oscillations in the grid and there’s a reason for that. And you know, even though I got a degree in electrical engineering, I don’t know anything about power transmission, I did not want to go into that area at all. And on rumble, Dougalug, thank you very much.
He said let’s fill the tank, hit the like button while we’re at it, friends. Thank you. David and Krugel, thank you so much. I appreciate that. And thank you to Marty. So, again, getting back to this, we have something. When I saw this, it said inertia. Is that a metaphorical term or is that a literal term about inertia? Because then they mentioned something about generators. I thought, so is this something that is real? Yeah, it turns out it is real when you have power generated by sources that use large rotating turbines as generators. Okay, so that’d be anything that burns fuel, that be even include nuclear power that heats up water and turns the turbines and that type of thing.
Hydroelectric power. So hydroelectric coal, oil, gas, nuclear, all of those. You’re essentially turning a generator, with the exception of hydroelectric. You’re burning something in order to get the generator to turn. You’re, you know, creating steam or whatever. But, you know, they’re using moving water. That’s not the case with windmills or solar panels. And I thought not even windmills, because, you know, windmills are turning. No, they don’t have the mass that is needed because the mass is distributed over a lot of different windmills. And so they don’t have this inertia in the generators. So I don’t know, maybe.
I hope you find that interesting. I thought that was very interesting. Something I didn’t realize before. And we stop and think about it as you start to get loads varying, you know, it goes up or it goes down, suddenly the demand varies. Well, these generators that are generating electricity, that electricity is going to feed back with electromagnetic feedback into these generators and their physical momentum, their inertia, is going to help to stabilize that. Not so with wind and solar. That does not happen with wind and solar. And so that was the real issue. By the way, they do have a.
They have for the renewables, they have to work around this. They create synthetic inertia. They said synthetic inertia for the wind turbines and for solar, they try to do that. And also, you know, battery storage systems, you got to try to. So here again is an additional problem, an additional expense, because we’ve been forced into this technology without any time to adapt. What I always have criticized the people pushing this Green New Deal for. Oh, well, this is where we want to go, and I want to go there now. And we’re not going to take the time to work out the technology.
We’re just going to demand that you do it right now. It’s like, how insane is this? And yet isn’t that what Trump is doing with the tariffs? I want to have Manufacturing in the United States. Okay, well, we can agree with that goal, but how do you get there? How do you get there? How do you pick which forms of manufacturing that you’re going to subsidize or push? And I’m not, I don’t agree the government ought to subsidize or push things. I don’t think they ought to be able to pick the winners and the losers. Just like I don’t think that Biden ought to be able to say, well, everybody’s going to drive electric vehicles now, and you can’t have even hybrids after a certain point in time.
You can’t even have a mixture of internal combustion engines and electric. No, everybody’s going to go all electric. Well, who made you God? It’s not in the Constitution. You don’t have that kind of power to dictate that stuff. And yet what Biden was doing and these politicians on the net zero side, Trump is doing as well. He wants net zero imports, and he just wants to get there right now. Forget about the fact that we don’t have any capability to create the kinds of magnets that are off of rare earth and everything. The fact that China’s got 98% of that.
Of course, China’s got all the EV stuff as well. But we’re just going to go there right now. We’re not going to take time to strategically build up our rare earth mining and production and manufacturing. No, we’re just going to do it right now. I know you’re five years away from being able to do this if you can do it, but we’re just going to do it right now. And that’s what they did with the environmental stuff, with all the green nonsense. And so I don’t know if they’re aware of this problem and they know that they need to have synthetic inertia put into the grid.
Did they do it? We’d go back and you look at Texas, massive subsidies to build infrastructure to take electricity from these remote areas where they’re putting the windmills up and send them back to the rest of the grid. Billions, tens of billions of dollars from Texas taxpayers to do that. As they were shutting down fully functional and operational and clean coal and oil power plants. They start spending massive amounts, these, you know, conservative Republicans in Texas, right, for their pals. And then what they decided was, well, it never gets that cold. We don’t have to have anything that’s going to make sure the windmills don’t freeze.
So they didn’t put it in. And then we got some cold temperatures and the windmills froze, took down the grid. Well, people are looking at this and it’s like, well, they know about the inertia. Did they try to cut corners and not put in the synthetic inertia? Were they trying to go so fast that they didn’t do that? So again, they want to try to mimic inertia so that they can ensure stability. And so, you know, when demand exceeds supply, then it’s going to be pulling on it or you have more supply than demand. That kind of inertia going back and forth is something that the generators help with, but they don’t get any help with that with the renewables.
And that’s the crux of the issue here. And so we have instability, we have uncertainty that’s being designed into all of our infrastructure and all of our economic systems by the politicians who rule over us. As a matter of fact, they said 15 gigawatts were lost from the grid within five seconds, something that has never happened before. Well, why do you think that is? Why do you think that is? Spain’s blackout wasn’t just a technical failure. It was a political and a strategic failure as well. Or was it, Was it a. It certainly was a technical failure.
But was it a political and strategic failure? Maybe their strategy is to sabotage the West. I mean, these people are full on about deindustrialization. It is a religion to them. When you look at the uk, they are going out and literally digging up the gas lines, just ripping up, ripping them up out of the ground because they want to make sure that nobody can have gas heat. They can’t cook with gas, they can’t heat with gas. And so we’re going to force you to buy these electric appliances and H Vac and all the rest of the stuff.
And we’re even going to rip out the gas lines under the ground throughout the neighborhoods and streets. They’re de industrializing. It is not a political or strategic failure. It is political and strategic policy to de industrialize the West. And folks, when we look at what happened with China, they were deliberately intertwined into our systems. We gave them every kind of advantage. We looked the other way as they used slave labor, intellectual property theft, currency manipulation. And then the Western governments handed them a price advantage on energy that is enormous. Enormous and still building. Because as the west is pulling down its energy supplies, China is continuing to build coal power plants that they don’t even make an effort to clean.
Coal can be clean, but the coal in China and India is not required to be clean. How’s that for a global warming problem? You take the two most populous countries and you tell them you don’t have to clean up. Crucially, comprehending problems of inertia, or lack of it, is a key to apportioning blame for this farce. And that’s where this article on zerohedge just doesn’t get was designed. This is what they want. They want to destroy our infrastructure, they want to destroy our manufacturing. All of this is by design. And just as I was saying, they want to go through and they want to rip out the gas lines.
Well, you know what Trump is doing by his demands that globalism, which he was fully on board with in his first term, he’s the one who came up with USMCA and bragged about it. I’m going to rebrand and re extend NAFTA and we’re going to call it usmca. And then one of the first things he does when he comes back is just basically rip that out of the fabric of our societies. And you can’t do that without causing a tremendous amount of damage. It’s something that has to be done incrementally, has to be done as a part of a plan, as part of a strategy.
And if you don’t do that, you have to say the person’s strategy is to do damage. And I’m not cutting these people any slack. This is. They know exactly what they’re doing. People have been talking about the consequences of this for a long time. They understand the consequences. Trump understands the consequences. What he is doing to Canada, what he did to Canada, what he’s doing to America with these tariffs and what he did with the election, the 51st state nonsense and everything, and what these countries are doing with their net zero stuff, it’s all deliberate, all deliberate.
People have been talking about this for a long time. They understand fully the consequences and they don’t care. Damn the torpedoes. Full speed ahead. Small or medium sized disturbances on the grid become very difficult to manage and can cascade into wider instability and outages when the grid is in low inertia condition. Yet another reason that I previously didn’t know about to oppose the greening of the infrastructure. And so this, the real farce, the real lie, is for them to say that this is something else rare atmospheric phenomenon. It’s truly ridiculous. And then specifically they said extreme temperature variations.
Everything is going to be blamed on temperature variations, even when that’s not what it is. A frequency drop of 0.15Hz was enough to Take down Spain and Portugal. Stop and think about that, right? We talk about 20 hertz. That means 20 vibrations per second, right? And so you’re talking about something that vibrates about once every six seconds. Varies about once every six seconds. That was enough to take down the entire grid. It’s not a really fast variation. And so their grid is 78%. Solar and wind, 78%. Nuclear is 11.5%. And then there’s just trace amounts of other things.
And that’s their problem. That’s their problem. No, no inertia from spinning generators. So one person said, well, I’m in Spain and trust me, the issue isn’t the darkness. No payments are not possible without cash. Nobody had any cash. Saw massive lines, long lines of people trying to get cash out. So somebody tell them that the ATMs are not working because there’s no power. Go ahead and line up. But nobody could do anything because everybody had transitioned over to a cashless society. You want to get food. Sorry, you want to just hang out and have a drink at a bar and wait for this thing to.
Sorry, no cash. No cash. Can’t play. No food, no transportation, very limited Internet. No clue as to whether it’ll actually. When it’ll actually be resolved, they said yesterday afternoon. But now they’re gradually getting it back online. Parts of France also affected, even extending into Belgium. So the most people don’t have cars. Oh, by the way, if you got a car, are you going to be able to fill it up with gas if there’s no electricity? No. Are you going to be able to charge your electric car? Of course not. And then take a look at the dead trains.
You know, people get stranded. This is the. All traffic lights out, of course. And this is not the best picture that I had. I didn’t get the best picture into the end of the deck. Somebody did an aerial shot of the city of Lisbon, I think it was, or might have been Madrid, and everything was gridlock everywhere. But if you’re on a train, this is what you wind up. Trains stop maybe out in the middle of nowhere, like here. And there they are in the middle of nowhere. Everybody get out of the train. We got on the train, everything was fine, but then everything went dark.
These are people in the subway stuck on the subway train for 20 minutes until a staff member opened the doors manually. And as I showed you before, you know, you’ve got. It was this one right here. Opened the door manually and they got 15 flights of steps to go up to to get their baggage to the airport. So again, Spain, Portugal, France, parts of Belgium, according to the latest information. And we go back and take a look at our emergency. How is that working out? You know, everybody’s forgotten about western North Carolina, including the Trump administration apparently, because now even the Democrat governor there in North Carolina, because the previous Democrat governor didn’t care at all.
Democrats didn’t do anything. And now this new Democrat governor Josh Stein is pushing back. FEMA has denied a 180 day extension for assistance, financial assistance for people for Hurricane Helene. So he’s appealing that. But there’s your government there to help you. You know, the government’s not going to be there to help us. The government’s not going to be there to get the power back on. They can’t run anything. They want to control and run everything, but they’re incapable and unwilling to run anything. And so this is just a reminder for all of us here in America as well.
You’re on your own. You need to prepare for yourself. And as we saw in western North Carolina, the local officials are some of the worst obstacles that people had to overcome as the Amish and the Mennonite went in and helped people to rebuild, you know, give them temporary shelter, build wooden houses. Well, the building inspectors came around and kicked people out, said, you didn’t get my approval and you don’t have plumbing and water. Just temporary. Do you realize they know that Hurricane Helene went through there? They know perfectly well that’s what I’m saying. When you look at these politicians, do they know, these local politicians that are throwing people out of the homes, the temporary homes that are built for them by the Amish and the Mennonite, do they know? Yeah, they do.
Do these officials in Spain and Portugal and France and Belgium and Europe and the UK do they know in US do they know what they’re doing to our power grid? Yes, they know and they don’t care because it’s not about your electrical power. It’s about their political power. Always has been, always will be on Rumble. Guard Goldsmith. Thank you very much, Guard. I really appreciate that. And again, Guard Goldsmith has Liberty Conspiracy every evening, Monday through Friday. You can find him on Rumble as well as on X. He says the Simpsons also did not predict the creation of your show and all your fine work.
Well, thank you. Happy birthday early to the man who’s a source of wisdom every day. Thank you, Guard. That’s a really kind compliments, especially coming from you. He has a wonderful show on Rumble. Twilight Shadow, thank you very much. Says happy birthday, David. Even the cannabis lovers show some love. Yeah, I’m not a cannabis lover, but hey, you know, if somebody gets some medical benefit from it, I think you ought to be able to. And I’m not for locking up anybody for using anything. Quite frankly, if you, if you want to prohibit something, go get a constitutional amendment.
That’s the way it’s supposed to operate. When we had respect for constitutional amendments, they wanted to ban alcohol, which I think is far more dangerous than cannabis. They had a constitutional amendment. On Rumble, Sam Miller 123. Thank you very much. That’s very kind. David, Happy birthday tomorrow. Congratulations on your 2000th show. Thank you for your faithfulness. Well, thank you. And thank you to Marty says, and yes, thank you, Marty. And on Rumble, Bethany Beth says, thank you, David. And Marty, thank you, Marty, for the matching funds. Rumble labeart, thank you very much. He said, happy birthday, David.
God bless and keep you strong and unshakable. Thank you. Svcat $20, he says, Ditto. Thank you very much. I appreciate that. On Rumble, Star Barkley. Thank you very much. Congratulations, David. Happy birthday. May all your wishes come true. Yeah, thank you. I appreciate that. On Rumble, Geese Busters, thank you so much. Happy birthday, David. Many more free geese control for Marty. There we go. And on Kick, Assyrian girl has gifted five subscriptions. Thank you so much. On Rumble, G Talent 60. Thank you for the tip says thank you for your hard work. Well, thank you all and thank you, Marty, for matching these tips on different platforms.
We’re going to take a quick break after we talk about the darkness, political darkness, the electrical darkness that is rolling over the west from Canada to the eu. When we come back, we’re going to talk a little bit about Dictator Don. We’re going to jump into that before we talk about the consequences of the tariff. So stay with us. We will be right back. SA you’re listening to the David Knight Show. Welcome back. And on Kick, Angry Tigers Den says, happy birthday, David. Thank you very much. Yeah, of course, I don’t watch the Simpsons. I have seen him a few times.
If I had seen that back in 1998, that everything was supposed to shut down on my 70th birthday on April 30, I probably would have remembered that. But they did have something about April 30, but that those people extended that quite a bit. And of course you could also spot a lot of AI generated stuff in there as part of that report, as well as an AI voice who was reading that to people on Rumble, M. Sellers, thank you very much. Says Happy birthday, David. That’s a kind compliment. Thank you very much. What do you have to say there? I saw this on the Hill and frankly, it kind of made my blood boil.
Trump, in an interview with the Atlantic on Monday, said, I run the country in the world, really. And I looked at that and I thought, well, you know, George Washington is spinning in his grave, isn’t he? You know, the King of England said about George Washington when he stepped down at the end of his second term and set an example that everybody followed until you had fdr. And then because he accrued that power to himself, people said, you know, okay, we’re going to have to put it in law. Everybody else voluntarily followed the example of George Washington.
King George is reported to have said, the greatest man in the world. He walked away from power like that. He didn’t want to be a king. Now we got somebody who is the anti Washington, right, The anti Washington, Donald Trump. He’s the polar opposite of everything that George Washington was. George Washington can tell a lie, we’re told. Now Trump can’t tell the truth. George Washington said, I’m going to leave after two terms voluntarily and set an example. Donald Trump wants to run for a third term. In his imagination, he thinks that he’s going to live forever, I guess.
I don’t know. He’s just like all of these other power hungry politicians that we’ve seen. Whether you’re talking about Dianne Feinstein or Ruth Bader Ginsburg, all of them, they got to be. Or Mitch McConnell, his nemesis, they’ve all got to be carried out feet first. They will die in office because apart from them, life has no meaning if they’re out of political power. It’s all just about the power and the money and they don’t care. Nancy Pelosi, retired, now she’s back. Just can’t give it up. And so it really is an abomination, folks, to even aspire to run the country, let alone the world to run the country.
And yet this is what everybody wants, isn’t it? Both factions, both Republicans and Democrats, both of them want their party and the president to run the country. And this is the path to civil war. We don’t want that. Here’s the positive vision for what we want. And that is a free country that doesn’t have a dictator elected. You know, it isn’t. And really, if we’ve got a dictator, do you really think there’s going to be elections? Do you really think there were elections that we had? Are these people selected? This is the opposite of what we want.
So he says in an interview with the Atlantic that aired. Yes, that was released yesterday. And you just watch, you’ll see Breitbart, Alex Jones, W and T, all the different conservatives, they’ll all be cheering this. Like, hey, Trump is running the country. In the world. They’re all going to cheer that they don’t want limited government, they just want their way. And it never works out that way. You’re going to get. There’s just as we’re talking about the electrical grid and how you had to have inertia in the system. That’s what the Constitution and the rule of law gives us.
It gives us inertia in our political system so that we’re not whipped back and forth with a dictator who can sit up there and arbitrarily put on taxes one day and then within 12 or 24 hours, take them off again with tariffs. So Trump said to the Atlantic, this is the quote he said, the first time I had two things to run the country and survive. I had all these crooked guys. The second time I run the country and the world. What arrogant hubris. And people are laughing at him in the rest of the world. They really are.
On trade, Trump’s roller coaster has rattled global markets, raised economic anxiety. He has pushed taking over Greenland whether the people want it or not, taking over Canada, whether the people want it or not. While speaking with the Atlantic, the President also commented on the possibility, of course, of a third run for presidency. Because, again, it’s all about ego and power. And because he thinks he’s God, he thinks he’s going to live forever as well, something he’s previously flirted with, but now GOP lawmakers have largely agreed with this. So from the Rutherford Institute, John Whitehead. Now, you can also find this on Free Thought Project, How a president becomes a dictator.
How do you become dictators by executive order? As I’ve said, you know, we look at what Trump did in 2020, that was medical martial law. I’m going to use a fake pandemic that doesn’t even exist to give dictatorial powers to myself. He starts with a quote from Ayn Rand, who says we are fast approaching the stage of ultimate inversion, the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission, which is the stage of the darkest period of human history, the stage of rule by brute force. Well, I was not familiar with that quote, but I have said for the longest time that the government has inverted everything.
You look at the 9th and 10th amendment. And they make it clear that if you don’t specifically have those powers delegated to you by the states and by the people, you don’t have them. And now what they say is we have all power and you just try to take it from us. That’s the game they play. We’ve got all power. We have the ability to know everything about you, but you’re not allowed to know anything about us because that would be a violation of our national security. And so they have inverted everything. Everything is permitted for them unless expressly denied.
And even if you expressly deny it, they still do it. Take a look at the first and Second Amendment and what Trump is doing and what Biden is doing with gun control and other issues and what Trump did with gun control the first time through, he was expressly forbidden to do what he did. Congress and courts are not allowed to infringe on our God given liberties of self defense and carrying firearms. And yet they do it all the time. Trump is the first one to do it. By executive order, of course, by executive order. Red flag gun laws, banning bump stocks, banning pistol braces.
He removed that brace just before he was, he left office. But then the pistol brace executive order was brought back in by Biden, but it was originally a Trump executive order as well. Because he’s a New York Democrat. He’s a New York Democrat, folks. And so we’re fast approaching the stage of ultimate inversion. No, she was writing that middle of the 20th century. We’ve long ago passed that point of inversion. So John Whitehead, Rutherford Institute says 130 executive orders in under 100 days. And Trump is proud of that. He’s really proud of it. And so are his supporters.
Sweeping powers claimed in the name of security and efficiency. One president acting as lawmaker, enforcer and judge. No debate, no oversight, no limits. This is how the Constitution dies. Not with a coup, but with a pen. The unitary executive theory is no longer a theory. It is the architecture of a dictatorship in motion. Where past presidents have used executive order decrees and memorandums and proclamations and national security directives and legislative signing statements to circumvent Congress or to sidestep the law, President Trump is using executive orders to advance his unitary executive theory of governance, a thinly disguised excuse for government by fiat.
Fiat by order. Fascism. Yeah, we have fake emergencies like the fentanyl emergency from Canada. Yeah. And then the big one that everybody seems to not care about anymore, that fake emergency of a COVID pandemic five years ago, how he went out of office. And now he begins with another fake, immediately begins with another fake emergency. Well, now we got fentanyl coming in from Canada. We had Covid coming in from China. Now we got fentanyl from China, and it’s all from Canada. Now it’s all nonsense. It’s all nonsense. And you got everybody selling this. Now, he set up a page on the White House website about, you know, the gain of function, release of a COVID pandemic.
There was no pandemic. There was no pandemic, folks. It was him killing people. It was him responsible for killing people because it was his policies, his executive orders and his cash that was incentivizing these avaricious, greedy hospitals to do the types of things that were killing people by masses. But, of course, that was nothing compared to the bioweapon that he was so proud of being the father of. And when that went out, it was spiked straight up. So this is what government by fiat looks like. Congress was once the nation’s lawmaking body. It’s now been eclipsed by a deluge of executive directives, each one issued without public debate, without legislative compromise, and without judicial review.
And, of course, the swamp is the bureaucracy that is under the president. And that’s what I was saying throughout Trump’s first term. If he wants to drain the swamp, swamp begins with him. He’s king of the swamp, literally. I mean, not just the fact that, you know, he’s president, but it’s his branch of government that he wouldn’t do anything about. Well, they started out with Doge this time, and we’ll see what happens with that. Nothing really has happened with it. But the swamp, the bureaucracy is really part of the executive branch as well. But now he’s extended this.
John Whitehead is saying, you know, we had all these other things. We had presidential signing statements, and we had memorandums and proclamations of national security directives, and we had rule by the bureaucracy. But now we have the unitary executive, who’s just going to rule as a dictator czar. Okay, we have the. Trump has now made himself the tariff czar. Okay, it’s bad enough that we had a drug war czar back in the day represent and still do. You know, we got a border czar, we got a drug war czar, we got czars and all these other.
Well, it was just a matter of time before the president openly owns the term czar. It represents a radical shift in how power is exercised in America, says Whitehead. From trade and immigration to surveillance to regulation of speech. Yes, that’s right. Trump is censoring just like Biden did, except for different political purposes. Right. But yeah, he’s going to get rid of the First Amendment as well. And policing. The President is claiming broad powers that traditionally reside with the legislative and judicial branches. Some orders invoke national security in order to disrupt global markets. Others attempt to override congressional control over tariffs, or fast track weapons exports, or alter longstanding public protections through regulatory rollbacks.
A few go even further, flirting with ideologically loyal tests for citizenship, chilling dissent through financial coercion and expanding surveillance in ways that undermine due process and privacy. The only thing I would disagree with him on there is public protection through regulatory rollback. We don’t have any public protection through regulatory agencies. That’s a fantasy. And most of these regulatory agencies themselves have no authority to exist. And that goes for all of HHS. That RFK Jr. Is over. All of it has no right to exist. You will not find anything that supports any single function of HHS in the Constitution.
Nowhere is that to be found. It is in defiance. The entire structure of hhs. All these people look at our gate, Maha. All these people who look to him as some kind of a savior. The entire existence of that agency, like for example, the atf, is in defiance of the Constitution itself. This is not merely policy by another name. It is the construction of a parallel legal order where the President acts as lawmaker, enforcer and judge. I am the law. Right, Judge Dredd. The very state of tyranny our founders sought to prevent. This legal theory, the so called unitary executive, is a doctrine that is part of a doctrine of presidential infallibility.
Under this theory, all executive agencies, decisions and even enforcement priorities bend entirely to the will of the President, obliterating the idea of an independent bureaucracy or of impartial governance, an imperial presidency that is cloaked in legalism. We’re watching the collapse of constitutional constraints not through tanks in the streets, but through policy memos drafted in the West Wing. That’s what I saw five years ago. And of course we got an army of government employees who are willing to be in the arms and legs of that tyranny five years ago. And now nothing has changed. Nobody’s been punished.
You’ve got Ron Johnson, Senator Ron Johnson now, talking about some of this stuff. And boy, what a limited hangout he is. It’s just unbelievable. The war on terror, the war on drugs, the war on illegal immigration, asset forfeiture schemes, road safety schemes, school safety schemes, eminent domain. We could add to this Climate safety schemes. All these Programs started out as legitimate responses to pressing concerns and have since become weapons of compliance and control in the police state’s hands. We’re talking about the climate aspect of it. EPA, we had some massive pollution in the 70s. Everybody was saying, this is such a big problem.
We need some federal government money. It’s too big for us to handle this on our own. So we need federal government money. So they created Nixon, created an unconstitutional bureaucracy, the epa. Their brief was to clean up toxic sites and things like that, protect the environment. And one of the guys that I worked with, David Schneer, worked for them for 30 years, and he got out and started deposing them because they left their mission of cleaning up the environment and decided that they were going to be about regulating the economy and prohibiting cars and prohibiting stoves and other things like that.
They got into regulating emissions. And of course, that was a congressional law that said to the Department of Energy, you can regulate and you can prohibit based on energy usage. And to the epa, you can regulate and you can prohibit based on emissions. The Congress gave them power that the Congress didn’t have the power to delegate to other people. Even so, we are approaching critical mass, says John Whitehead. And, you know, when we look at this, you know, as I see this, all the pushback. When you criticize Trump for his dictatorial follies, and they are follies, he doesn’t know what to do.
Right. He’s not smart enough. Nobody is smart enough. Central planning always fails, even when it’s done by somebody who pretends to be a Republican. You want to talk about. It’s amazing to me that the first response from all the MAGA people, if you criticize Trump’s policies for being anti Constitution, anti freedom, against free markets and all the rest of this stuff, you criticize that, and the first thing they do is they call you a Rhino. Not that. The Republican Party used to traditionally stand for the types of things that if you criticize Trump for not supporting those things, those conservative policies, you are called the Rhino.
So inside North Korea’s brutal school system, where children are forced to worship Kim Jong Un, boy, that’s a commentary, isn’t it, on our society as well as the purpose of schools. Schools are there about government worship, of course. Now they’re little seminaries of Satan. They’re there about overthrowing the government. It used to be, when I was there, it was all about government worship. You’d start with the Pledge of Allegiance, which was created by the Union army, which overthrew the Constitution, and it didn’t have under God in it until the 1950s. Before that, it was pretty obvious that you will not get out of this unitary government.
Right? Allegiance to the flag that represents this one government that is indivisible and you can’t leave it. You know, that type of thing. Then they softened it to say under God, and then they eliminated it because now the revolutionaries want to overthrow that government and they’re using the school system to do that. So it goes from blind cheering of the government to a revolution against the government. So is it an exaggeration to compare the Trump cult with North Korea? Consider this. Trump wants bigger media pollsters investigated for election fraud, including Fox News. They came up with a poll that showed that he had the lowest approval rating in of any president for his first hundred days.
Oh, that really got him upset. Like a North Korean dictator. And like a North Korean dictator, he wants them investigated, he wants their licenses taken. You know, Trump is repeatingly calling out for media to have their licenses taken. Look, I don’t support CBS. I don’t support 60 Minutes, and they haven’t been real investigative journalists for a long time. I pointed out last week, Jesse Trinedieu talking about the fact that his client Terry Nichols was going to go on 60 minutes to talk about the suspicious stuff that was going on with the Oklahoma City bombing. And they got a call from the government in 60 minutes back down.
CBS and Walter Cronkite have, for the longest time, you know, they always sold the government line as part of Operation Mockingbird. I don’t like the mainstream media at all, but I’m even more concerned about a president who thinks that he is going to shut them down and uses the levers of government to manipulate content. There was just a few years ago when Obama started doing that, he started having the fcc, which was there to allocate frequency spectrum for radio and TV stations. He wanted the FCC to go around and start asking news stations, how do you put your news together? And, you know, start sniffing around.
And of course, everybody, especially conservatives, said, wait a minute, wait a minute. We know where this goes, right? This is the camel’s got his nose under the tent, and he’s going to start sniffing around. And before long, the Obama administration is going to start dictating content to people or using perhaps the levers that they’ll use. Why did they pick the FCC to do this? Well, is it because they want to take their license? And now when Trump does this, crickets from the conservatives. He’s talking about taking people’s licenses. He’s talking about using the FCC just like Obama did, folks.
He’s no different from Obama and Biden. He’s just presenting a different facade. He’s the Manchurian conservative. The Manchurian candidate. So on Monday, as he was undermining the conservatives in Canada, he said great pollster John McLaughlin, one of the most highly respected in the industry, has just stated that the failing New York Times poll in the ABC Washington Post poll about a person named Donald J. Trump. All uppercase me. This guy is just borderline illiterate and the biggest egomaniac we’ve ever had. I mean, all these people who run for office, they are egomaniacs. Except he’s in a class by himself.
That is exceptional. About a person named Donald J. Trump. Me. All uppercase. And then uppercase again. Fake polls from fake news organizations. He goes on to say the New York Times has only 37% Trump 2024 voters and the ABC Washington Post poll has only 34% Trump voters. Unheard of numbers unless looking for a negative result. Which they are. These people should be investigated for all uppercase election fraud. Election fraud. And add in the Fox News poster while you’re at it. They are negative criminals. Negative criminals. Negative criminals. Where does he find that in the Constitution or the legal code? I accuse you by being indicted for being negative.
Negative about who? Negative about our beloved leader. You know, just like North Korea, you must applaud him. You must celebrate him. You must weep if he dies. All the rest of us, they are negative criminals who apologize to their subscribers and readers after I win elections big. All uppercase. Much bigger than their poll showed. I would win. Loose a lot of credibility. He doesn’t say lose. He says loose a lot of credibility and then go on cheating and lying for the next cycle. Only worse, they suffer from Trump derangement syndrome. All uppercase. They are sick. Then he says almost only write negative stories about me no matter how well I am doing.
99.9% at the border. Best number ever. They are truly the enemy of the people. I wish them well. Yeah, I wish them well. Happy birthday. I’m gonna lock you up or Merry Christmas. Bah humbug. I will continue to fight to make America great again. And so all this is in response to a Sunday poll by ABC News Washington Post that claimed that Trump has the lowest 100 day job approval rating of any president in the past 80 years. With public pushback on many of his policies and the extreme economic discontent, including broad fears of recession. ABC noted.
Yet he still beats the Democrats in Congress even lower. It doesn’t take any solace in that. And so this is a story by Rollnet Daily. So they point out that, interestingly, on April 16, two weeks ago, CNN polling analyst Harry Entin said the data is in. And 98% of Trump supporters do not regret their votes from 2024. Well, they never will. Even if Trump destroys their small business, their farm, their trucking business, whatever, they will always support him. Always. The bottom line is for all this talk of Trump voters regretting their vote in the numbers, it really just doesn’t show up.
It wasn’t that long ago that people were really upset on the right about the price of eggs, and they should be, because it was something that was done by stupid, unnecessary policy by the Biden administration. Mass culling of tens of millions of chickens. It was 100% created. American created, government created problem. No other country was doing that. It’s like, why are you arbitrarily raising the price of eggs? Here’s Trump arbitrarily raising the price of everything. Crickets. They don’t care. They don’t care at all. Caroline Levitt, you want to talk about imperial president? Caroline Levitt refuses to rule out the arrest of Supreme Court judges.
The White House press secretary is quietly warning the Supreme Court, you better do what we do. You know, if you come up with a fake ruling, if you come up with a ruling that I don’t like, I might arrest you. Well, you know, I guess he’s not aiming for George Washington. Maybe he’s aiming for Abraham Lincoln. Because it was Abraham Lincoln who arrested congressmen and other people who disagreed with him when Abraham Lincoln was busy destroying the Constitution and changing America. We’re going to take a quick break. We’ll be right back. Unlike most revolutions where the people rise against a real economic oppression, in our case here in Boston, we are fighting for purely an abstract principle.
Hear, hear. Hear. Hear. Hear, hear. It is, however, not nearly so abstract as the young gentleman supposes. The issue involved here is one of monopoly. Today, the British government will monopolize the sale of tea in our country. Tomorrow, it will be something else. Liberty, it’s your move. You’re listening to the David Knight Show. All right. On Rumble. Grammy for God. Thank you very much. I appreciate that. David, you have the same birthday as my granddaughter, so I’ll never forget. God bless you and your family. Well, thank you. On kick Koalamos 360 says donated via Zell100 today.
Thank you very much. I appreciate that. And Imarty says that he is Matching tips on all platforms today. So thank you very much. I appreciate that. On Rumble, Sinister K says, happy birthday, David, because I became a fan of yours back during the Bundy Ranch standoff. Your broadcast when Lavoy Finicum was killed has always stuck with me. Such real raw emotion that day. It was awful. It was awful to see that. On Rumble. Angie Oswald, good morning. Just tuning in. Sending donation by Zell to be matched. Happy birthday. 70 looks great on you. Well, thank you.
I don’t know, it doesn’t feel that great, frankly. On Rumble, Audi Modern retro Radio. Good to see you there. He says we now know that the Oklahoma City building contained incriminating evidence against the Clintons pertaining to their shady land deals, as well as evidence regarding illnesses of soldiers who went to Iraq. That’s when they had Terry Nichols betray his own friend, the patsy known as Timothy McVeigh. Yeah, that whole thing sunk to the high heavens. And again, I’ll never forget that. I think two other very important things with it. You know, they did it on April 19th because there was a lot of pushback.
It was building in the wake of Waco and Ruby Ridge and it was causing a lot of people to start to organize as militia and other things like that. A lot of political pushback. I know from personal experience that’s the way I felt about was the reason that Karen and I went to New Zealand thinking about moving because I thought this is going to get really bad. We just had the federal government attack a group of people and burn men, women and children to the ground. And the press and the public and even Christians I saw attacking David Kressh.
They didn’t like David Kressh because they didn’t agree with his doctrines and everything. And I’m not defending David Koresh or his theology or his predictions about the end of the world or the practice of, you know, it was a cult and, you know, they’re marrying young girls and everything. You can criticize that stuff, but how dare you then cheer the government when it kills men, women and children? And how dare you not lack the discernment to understand that the ATF is not about enforcing any of that stuff. So he should be killed and he should be attacked by the atf, burned to the ground by the ATF and the FBI because his theology is bad and because they are marrying young girls at an age that, you know, quite frankly, you don’t have to go back that far in our society to see young girls, you know, 15, 16 or whatever getting married.
I’m not saying I Support that. But you know, that is. But we’re going to then burn those kids to death because they got married at too young an age with their parents permission and so forth. So, you know, you look at all of this stuff and I was, it’s one of the reasons why I was thinking of moving out of this country, seriously was I remember they had the. In the wake of it went to. It was right after it had happened and the Libertarian Party convention was in Salt Lake City, Utah. And I went with some friends that were with the Libertarian Party and it was like the three of us who were involved in, you know, I was the editor of the newsletter and the other guy had run for governor and the other guy that was on the executive committee, the three of us had gone and we tried to get that independent so called independent Democrat to run so that one of us wouldn’t have to for governor.
And so the other guy ran for governor. He would have made a great governor, by the way. He was a real stable person, not crazy or fringy at all. But anyway, it was kind of like Donald Rainwater, you know, he would have made a great governor in Indiana. But anyway, we go to this convention in Salt Lake City, Utah and I remember taking a tour of the. They’ve got like, you know, this museum that’s set up that tells a story of the Mormons moving out there and also tells their story of their Book of Mormon and all this other kind of stuff.
So I went through and looked at all that kind of stuff and as we come out, they got all these young girls that are dressed in white that work there as a volunteer basis, just like they’ve got missionaries that go out on bicycles, you know, door to door, that type of thing. And it had just happened a couple of months before that. This is 1994. And I remember going up to some of those girls and engaging them. So I said, what do you think about what happened in Waco? Do you see any commonality with that? And the Mormons, you know, people didn’t like your theology and the US government attacked you guys and you had to defend yourselves, you know, because I’d just gone through their history.
So do you see any commonality with that? What happened? I don’t know anything. And they’re just totally detached from it. It’s amazing how people are totally detached. When I was at the Bundy ranch there with Josh Owens, we were out there and they’re threatening to shoot us and we went through this intense thing and then it’s over. We Drive a little bit north and we go to get something to eat. And I mean, it was a long ordeal because it took a long time for them to clear out. And I’m out there literally is broadcasting live in the desert with not much water for about three hours just talking about that one thing.
Drudge carried the broadcast live and everything. And I. So you know, it’s like, okay, it’s over. This is really strange. And it was kind of surreal. We go to this restaurant at a casino that was a bit further up. It’s a cafeteria type of thing. And we’re sitting there eating and some guy says, I’ve seen you somewhere before, I saw you on TV or something. I said, well, we just had this thing that happened there. And he said, yeah, that was it. Saw you on that. Okay. You know, and he walks off. He’s like, yeah, whatever, you know, Only thing that mattered to him was he had seen me on tv.
And I said to Josh, I said, this is not like the most surreal thing. We just about got shot and was that just so I could get on TV or something. This is crazy. And nobody cares about the issue that was there. And that issue is the underlying issue that is still with us with all of this stuff, with the smart cities and eminent domain and taking our land and all the rest of this stuff. And of course a government that is outside of the Constitution. So look at this kind of stuff. It’s just absolutely surreal.
And so I think a big part of the Oklahoma City bombing was to send a message to everybody that, you know, create a terrorist event and then to send a message to everybody. It’s like, okay, well if you’re going to, you know, have the don’t tread on me flag and you’re going to talk about what happened at Waco and Ruby Ridge, then you’re just like these terrorists who blew up the Oklahoma City bombing. Oklahoma City building. And again, there was a retired general whose specialty was demolition. And I remember the new American reporting on it, they said, this is not a point blast.
This went all the way across the building. It was pre positioned explosives. And of course that was before 911 as well. He said, there’s no way that that was a single bomb that was there. Which means that the entire narrative is based on a lie. Hoppy Heidelberg, who was a grand jury investigator, they kicked him out of the grand jury. He’s tried to do a citizens grand jury. They pushed back against that as well. On Rumble, Audi, modern retro radiance. There’s more about it, he says we know that the Oklahoma City building contained. Oh, he already talked about that one.
Okay. I thought it was a reply about that as well. But yeah, I think it was about that. The other thing is that when we were flying out to Utah, Salt Lake City for the Libertarian National Convention there, the three of us were on the plane and we were talking about what we were going to do. Were we going to leave the country? Were we going to do this and that, you know, and, you know, just, just openly talking about it. And it’s kind of naive for us to do that now. Right. You understand? Because we got off and it wasn’t like we were talking about it on social media.
Social media didn’t exist. Then we get off the plane and we’re in the luggage thing. And I had noticed this, this woman who was in seat in front of us kind of glance over her shoulder a couple of times at me, you know, and as we’re waiting to get our luggage, she’s really eyeing us. We’re going to get reported, that’s for sure. So, you know, it’s like I might as well go into the news business because I’m going to get reported one way or the other. On rumble. C. Duggan Duncan, 96. Thank you very much. She says, love the show, Dave.
Been listening since you’re early. Infowars days. Well, thank you. I’m glad you’re able to find us. Thank you. On Rumble. Rogue statesman. Thank you very much. He says a few dollars for a great cause. Much love to your family. Appreciate that. Happy birthday On Rumble from speech row 626. And a big tip. Thank you so much. I appreciate that. On Kick Angry Tiger. And again, you can find, you know, Knights of the Storm as well as Angry Tigers den. Those are on Rumble as well as on Twitter. Says the ATF are a bunch of thugs. I agree.
They raided my house. Really? Wow. Trying to connect me with Oklahoma. They shot my dog, they roughed me up, they tore my walls out of my house for nothing. All because somebody informed on me that I was making firecrackers and they found out that I was on the Michigan malicious mailing list five years prior. Wow. Wow. So I guess we’re really lucky. Maybe she didn’t report us. We would have gotten that treatment. Wow. That’s amazing. That’s amazing. Well, there you go. That’s why Angry Tiger, I guess, is angry and he’s going to talk about what happens with this stuff.
On Rumble. Radisbro. Thank you very much for the tip. Happy birthday, Mr. Knight. He says thank you. Well, and thank you to. I’mmarty for matching on all these different platforms. Thank you so much, Marty. Appreciate that. Let’s talk a little bit about the tariffs that are coming. The first tariff shock is set to hit the port of LA with ripple effects across the broader economy. I talked about this the other day, talked about the fact that, you know, the tariffs are just plummeting, the shipments are just plummeting. And of course, it takes a little while for this stuff to take effect.
Unlike the power grid in Spain and Portugal, there’s a lot of inertia on this stuff. So, you know, we were just watching the Sons of Liberty thing today. We’re talking about the government’s going to monopolize the sale of tea in our country and soon they’ll do it with other things. Well, Trump is doing it with everything. He’s trying to monopolize and control the sale of everything. And he’s going to decide that if you make it in the US that’s good. If you make it somewhere else, that’s bad. He’s going to try to punish people for that.
Look, I think it’s great to have stuff made in America. So why don’t you do this? Why don’t you just get rid of the taxes and regulations and other things that are sawing the lower rungs off the ladder to make it impossible for people to do manufacturing, for people to have their own small business. Instead, what Trump is going to do is he’s going to add additional burdens. I’ve always said that I like, I prefer any kind of tax to the income tax. And I thought tariffs were a better way to do it. And I’ve talked many times about how Jefferson was able to completely fund the government off of tariffs so that nobody knew an internal tax man didn’t have to write a new report, that other kind of stuff.
And yet we would have to have a government that was way smaller. It would have to fit inside the Constitution in order to do that. So there’s no way that these tariffs are going to fund the American government. It’s a stealth tax. Trump is going to pretend that he’s going to cut your taxes while in the back door, he’s going to be picking your pocket with another tax. This is the way these people always operate. They stack the taxes. And this is not about protecting strategic industries or anything else either. There was no plan with any of this stuff, as we’ve seen over and over again.
So ocean freight transit lines from Shanghai to LA typically range about 14 to 40 days. With 145% tariffs now applied to most Chinese imports, the full economic impact will likely emerge with a lag of about a month or so as reduced import volumes and supply chain disruptions begin to take effect. Early high frequency indicators already suggest that those disruptions are imminent. Following so called Liberation Day on April 2, there was announced a tsunami of tariff hikes on Chinese imports to 145% on April 11. And so again we’re looking at a couple of weeks before this takes effect.
Pull this up Travis, if you can. This is, I want people to see these numbers there first tear shock set to hit the port of la. And in that you can see that for the week of April 20th to 26th, 119,784. Okay, was what was coming in. So this is import volume and I don’t know what the unit was, what they’re measuring here. But anyway the number is about 120,000. And then the next week it drops to 85,000. And the next week after that what they have Pre booked is 75,000. This is zero hedge. They are very much Trump supporters.
So Freight Waves CEO Posted on X the trucking activity at the LA port, the largest container port on the Western Hemisphere has just plunged from 120 to 85 to 75. Scheduled there for three weeks. And so that’s 75. So it’s currently scheduled for May 4th through the 10th. Adding to the conversation, they said year over year trucking activity out of LA is down 23%. It’ll likely drop down to 50% below normal in the coming weeks if there isn’t a trade war resolution, said the CEO of Freight Waves. Year over year, trucking activity down 23%. It’ll drop likely to 50% while the first wave of disruptions is materializing at the LA port and could soon ripple across the Inland Empire then into the heartland.
High tariffs on Chinese goods have already sent factories in the world’s second largest economy into a tailspin. Oh, this is great. They say, well, is it, is it really good to get people desperate? Because see, that’s one of the reasons why sanctions and trade wars typically presage a real war, which of course Trump has been spoiling for all along. A war with China. They told factories and suppliers to halt and deliver and delay deliveries in China. This has prompted some factories to suspend production for one to two weeks. And as we’re seeing again now, what Trump did five years ago in 2020, he took a big monkey wrench and he threw it into the machinery of the supply chain.
And when the machinery broke and everything broke down, he didn’t care. Well, you’re non essential was his response. America’s mom and pop truckers are in dire straits as bad news mounts. This is from American Truckers United. They said, will small time trucking businesses even survive? See, this is the kind of thing that Trump did to small service businesses and restaurants and things like that five years ago. Now he’s going to do it to small trucking firms. And whenever he locks things down like he did five years ago, like he’s about to do now, it’s always going to be the small ones that, that go under.
Small businesses don’t have the kind of operating capital that these large Wall street big box companies do. Right. If they’re operating on Wall street, they’ve got an unlimited amount of access to money. All they have to do is give people a positive story. If you get people to believe that story, they’ll keep funding you. Moderna didn’t have a product for 10 years. They lost money for 10 years, but they manipulated the stock market to keep going. We competed with Blockbuster video for over 20 years. When they didn’t make a cent, they lost money every single year.
That was Viacom, that owns cbs, that owns Paramount and all the rest of the stuff. They were able to operate for over 20 years losing money. They operated in a predatory practice by opening up shops. They would pick one small mom and pop video store at a time and they would put a store in front of their store. Every one of their stores. They might have three or four or five stores. They would do it to every one of them. They did it to us as well. They weren’t the reason that we got out of business, but they did it to, they were predatory and they could do that and operate at a loss because they’re being funded from Wall Street.
And they’ll do that to the trucking companies, the small trucking companies, because the big trucking companies can get money from Wall street and they can operate at a loss. An aspect of supply chain shocks experienced during COVID is known as the accordion effect, where a disruption in one part of the chain takes time to into another. But then the shock arrives at speed and it’s good and hard. The White House has put itself in the country in a bad situation, but it doesn’t realize it yet, says the this trucking association. Around April 10, China to US trade shut down.
It takes about 30 days for containers to go from China to LA 45 days to go to Houston by sea, 45 to Chicago by train, 55 to go to New York by sea. That means that there are no economic effects of what has been done on April 10th until around May 10th or later. Because they’re talking about 30 days there. We’re talking about, you know, that’s the very first ones that are going to show up in la, but it’s going to be another two to three weeks before it shows up in other places. Around that time, it is already starting to happen.
Trucking work is going to dry up, but warehouses will start doing layoffs because no labor is needed to unload containers and some products will be out of stock, reducing the need for shipping labor. How many more will go out of business? Now the predictions of low cost trucking rates are going to go even lower, they said. In 2008, some of the largest truck carriers offered to haul freight at 80 cents a mile to anywhere. They simply wanted to cover their drivers wages and fuels, but to keep the trucks moving in order to avoid losing all their drivers.
And if things get bad, it could happen again. Like I was saying before, Wall street companies can do that and operate at a loss. They said, well, as long as we can get our fuel covered and pay the wages of the truckers so that we don’t lose them, we’ll do it. So 80 cents a mile just to cover those basic costs. The market for truck drivers has long been injured or sorry, been juiced by government. And we saw this happening in the Biden administration. In 2021, the Biden Harris Trucking Action Plan. An apparent scheme began to take place where red tape cutting resulted in many states handing out commercial driver’s licenses to migrants and to refugees.
As a matter of fact, the number of commercial driver’s licenses after they said we’re going to give them to immigrants coming in doubled from 2021 to 2022. The flooding of the market by Biden was going to result in fierce rate slashing and many trucking companies going out of business because they’re coming gonna get cheap labor and the Biden administration is gonna help them get a commercial driver’s license so they can compete with American truckers. And they said that again, the big corporations have been telling that the big trucking corporations who want a glut in the labor market have been telling the government that there’s a shortage of truck drivers.
These people were saying, well, actually no, there isn’t. One of the longest running stealth corporate welfare programs in the nation where the taxpayer shovels out millions upon millions of dollars for these carriers to finance the training of new drivers. But nobody ever asks why the trucking industry can’t keep them around, why the big truckers can’t keep them around. This is a system that burns through so many people that many of these big trucking companies have 90% plus annual turnover rates. And the market would, the market could maintain its own equilibrium if people would ask why that is happening.
So they’re going to come after the owner operators. And part of this is the commercial driver’s license thing that changed. Now, one thing that Trump has done which is good, I saw he’s going, this is kind of a backdoor way, kind of a populist way of tracking this glut in the market. He says, you’re going to revoke the licenses if they can’t read and speak English. And so that’s going to be part of the reversal of what Biden did in 2021. We started bringing in people and giving them a commercial driver’s license, even if they were not citizens, even if they couldn’t read or speak English.
Is Department of Transportation Secretary Duffy listening to anybody? He appears to be busy attempting to find what an astronaut is, instead saying that these, you know, six celebrity women who went up in that little thing, allegedly, they’re not astronauts, you know, so he’s defining what an astronaut is. But they said he has to immediately investigate what went on with Biden’s trucking action plan, how it flooded the market with in source labor of dubious skill and even more dubious legality and take steps to remove that. Well, perhaps they are doing that. That is one good thing. But still we have the issue of what’s going to happen to the supply chain in general.
Retailers are warning that Americans may soon see empty store shelves similar to Covid. It’s from Brian Shalhavi, Health Impact News. And of course, he is involved in importing food because he wants to get food that isn’t contaminated with glyphosates. And so he sells a lot of heirloom grains and things like that that have not been genetically modified, that don’t have glyphosate and stuff like that. And he’s written articles about how difficult it is increasingly difficult to find food that is not contaminated with that stuff. He’s bringing in food from other places like that. That’s what he sells.
And so he’s almost entirely import driven. But we had the large chains, big box retailers like Walmart, Target, Home Depot visited Trump and he tried to calm their fears and tell them that a deal was going to be made with China very soon. And he said that President Xi had already called him several times. When those comments went public, China mocked him and said that was not true. Companies have been canceling their shipments of goods from China and halting new orders after Trump put 145% tariff on nearly all Chinese import this month. And especially because why, when Trump is saying, well, I’m going to do a deal with him, well, everybody’s looking at this and saying, well, we got 145% tariff on there.
Do we go ahead and place an order? No, let’s wait and see if he’s going to take this off because he’s telling everybody, don’t worry, I’m going to take this stuff off. It’s just a negotiating tactic. Is that a good negotiating tactic? I may have had people on who said, well, you know, Trump is just, he’s not really going to do these tariffs, he’s just threatening people. Then he did the tariffs, then he removed the tariffs, then he put the tariffs back on, then he lifted the tariffs up even higher. And then he’s talking about, well, we’re going to do a deal with him, we’re going to get this fixed, right? So what is it? I mean, people, if they take Trump at his word, they don’t think these tariffs are going to be permanent.
So it’s freezing everything. Nobody in their right mind is going to place an order for something that is going to be 145% more expensive than maybe next month. So everybody is taking a wait and see approach to all of this and this uncertainty. And it’s even his strategy. He even says, I’m going to get rid of this. That’s just a negotiating tactic. Okay, well then I’m not going to do any business activity until he gets rid of this. It’s just a temporary measure. So he’s responsible. 100%, 110%, 200%, 1000% responsible for the lockdown of our economy.
Yet again, just a different tactic, same result. Lock down the economy, kill the small businesses. It’s Trump 2.0, which is no different than Trump 1.0. Just a different tactic, Same end goal, get rid of non essential small businesses. So it’s only the big guys, my pals who are members of the club, they’re making their holiday buying decisions now, said the vice president of supply chain for the National Retail Federation. It is a challenge for folks to figure out how to properly order and price with all the Uncertainty that is out there on the tariffs. Like back during COVID where we had such shortages of toilet paper.
We were starting to see that in more and more goods. So the president of one of these councils. But look, it’s not like back during COVID it’s back during Trump 2020 where he locked us down over a fake pandemic. And Trump 2025, it’s picking right up where he left off. Automakers freezing their imports again. Because Even if it’s 25%, they’re saying, well, that may not be lasting. So let’s wait and see what’s going to happen. Audi has paused all US Imports. So has vw. They’re not even bringing them in from Mexico. So this person says this is like watching a.
Well, this is vaccine impact, says Brian Schohave. He says this is like watching a car crash in slow motion. Well, no, it’s actually, I think a better analogy would be you’ve probably seen on YouTube pictures of these cruise ship or some large yacht that it’s got too much momentum. It’s coming in and it just slowly is going in to the dock and everybody’s boy, this thing’s not going to stop. Everybody starts running in different directions and just in slow motion comes through and just starts plowing up the dock and everything else that’s in its way because it’s got so much mass and it is just a slow motion wreck and amazing how destructive it is.
Well, that’s really the analogy. That’s really what’s going on with the terrorist stuff. It’s a slow moving ship. Takes 30 to 55 days for it to get to the various ports. And when it comes in, it’s just going to destroy everything in its way. Massive destruction. So while tariffs are the headline news, Trump’s tariffs, Brian Schulhavi says few people are talking about the effects of a weakening US Dollar because it is a double whammy for US Consumers. And Trump is deliberately weakening the US Dollar because he wants to do exports, so he’s weakening the dollar. While Trump’s tariffs are headline news and rightfully so, what few are reporting on is that in the midst of this trade war, the Trump administration is deliberately weakening the US Dollar so the US Made goods will be more affordable to other countries.
But that also makes imports more expensive. Even without the tariffs, a 20% inflation on basic goods imported into the US is going to be very serious. A weak dollar is about to hit your summer plans. A weaker US Dollar could increase prices for everything from your Walmart Run to your European vacation and to everything else. The US dollar index has already fallen more than 8% so far just this year. It’s one of the reasons why we’re seeing gold go up. Gold is not going up. It’s the American dollar that is going down. You understand, right? Gold is stable over centuries.
It’s the dollar that fluctuates, and that’s why gold is going up. Imported goods are going to cost more because of tariffs. They’re going to be transferred almost entirely to the consumer. And so is the devaluation of the dollar going to be transferred to consumers. The most difficult thing facing us about the future is uncertainty. And he’s writing this. Brian Schulhavi is, as a small businessman, all businesses, all small businesses. We have to look at what is happening right now in real time with our businesses, while also keeping abreast of the current news and trying to guess what exactly Trump is going to do next, which is a futile effort as he constantly changes his mind.
He doesn’t even know what his mind is, and nobody in his administration does either. And congressman and congressmen are just sitting on the sidelines doing nothing because they don’t want to stand up to dictator Don, who’s dictating, using executive orders, using phony emergencies every day. He says, I have to make decisions about purchases and how to price our products without it being too much of a burden to our customers. But also knowing that if I don’t get it right, I could easily be out of business by the end of the year because I didn’t charge enough to cover our costs and to be able to continue putting in new orders for inventory, if he charges too much, he loses his business as well.
So how do I price this? Nobody knows whether you’re a small business or a large business. The difference is, though, the large businesses have got a cushion there with Wall street funding. China is in a better situation than the U.S. he says. I think because they still have the factories, the manufacturing base. Well, the US has to redevelop that to truly uncouple from our dependence on cheap goods made in China. And that could take many years. Just as we were talking about last week, the guy who said, yeah, rare earth, yeah, we need to do this, and I’ve been saying this for a long time, strategically, we need to have our own rare earths and so forth.
Okay, fine. How long is it going to take? Well, five years or so at best case. So there’s no plan to do any of this stuff. You’re just Going to rip the heart out of everything, just like Biden was doing with automobiles and weaponize it all. And Trump even says the same thing that Biden did. Biden says it’s going to be real uncomfortable, you know, when I ban everything that you use, force you to buy more expensive stuff, right? Trump says it’s going to be real uncomfortable when I ban everything that you’re buying and force you to buy more expensive stuff.
But hey, both of them say it’s worth it for me, right? Do they ask us, do they ask our elected representatives? Of course not, because our elected representatives don’t care. They don’t care. They don’t represent us. They’re there to represent Trump. They don’t want to rock the boat because they want to stay there. Just like Trump wants to stay there. He wants a third term. All these guys want to stay there forever. They love it. They’ve created a really nice environment. It’s a nice club. They make a lot of money, a lot of perks, great retirement program, healthcare.
None of these people want to leave their government jobs in Washington. So Brian Shahavi says, I suspect if things get really bad in the economy, Trump will bail out on large, will bail out the large businesses, but he’ll let the rest of us go down. Those of us who comprise America’s small business owners who have done our part to hold up this economy for decades now, well, of course, they also did that five years ago. We know, and he says that Trump already did this. In 2020, most small businesses were declared to be non essential. If those are not fighting words, folks, how could you ever vote for somebody who called small businesses Main street was non essential? Wall street was essential to Trump.
That tells you everything you need to know, doesn’t it? Just from a financial standpoint, forget all the mass murder, bioweapon and everything, doesn’t that tell you everything? All these Republican voters who typically just vote their pocketbook and maybe they don’t understand about vaccines and all the rest of the stuff, but that should have been the clue. You’re non essential. He poured trillions of dollars into the economy, holding up big pharma, big business. He let small businesses in the local communities die from being locked down. He’s about to do it again. What we know right now is that for every new order we place from our suppliers, we will be subject to at least a 10% tariff.
And the cost of the products that we import are becoming more expensive even without tariffs because of the weakening US Dollar that this administration is destroying on purpose. As Biden also did. See, we had the left right march that seems to always go in the same direction. Most of our imported goods are not grown or produced in the US it gets stuff like coconut oil, coffee, chocolate, black curcumin seed oil. Other things that he could get in the United States he typically passes on them because they’re GMO or they’re loaded with herbicides like glyphosate. And so he is at the epicenter of all of this now.
The UK Telegraph in terms of assessing Trump’s success on this as Trump’s attempt to upend the global order has already been defeated, says an op ed piece at the UK Telegraph, America has emerged from the trade war as an international laughing stock. It seems unlikely that Trump has read much Lenin, but had he done so, he might have stumbled across the following observation. Lenin says it takes organizers to make a revolution. Well, if Trump wants a revolution, he needed to get organizers. But he didn’t, he said. Characterized by screeching handbrake turns, made up policy on the hoof, and mixed messaging on steroids, it has been another week of chaos in Washington.
If anyone knows what on earth it is that the US Is trying to achieve on trade and much else besides, then I would like to hear from them. Because having come to the U.S. capitol in the hopes of garnering some insights, I am none the wiser, he said. What’s now increasingly obvious is that Trump is in a ragged retreat. He’s compromising all over the shop, such that if the plan was to upend the established global order, one can almost definitely say that beyond the rhetoric, it is already over. Well, maybe that wasn’t the plan. Maybe the plan was to disrupt America, as he did in 2020 with that lockdown, he says.
A lack of professionalism and organization has defined this endeavor all along, and now it is coming apart at the seams. Sensing an administration on the run, no one is any longer hurrying to do a trade deal with the U.S. whether you’re talking about Britain or Canada and beyond, getting the right deal rather than a quick one has now become the new mantra. So everybody’s all these other governments are just going to take their time because guess what? They don’t care about their people either, says Trump has in the meantime made himself and the US into an international laughingstock, never mind the damage that policy uncertainty is inflicting on the global economy.
And then this key thing, he said. You’d be forgiven for thinking that chaos is the policy goal. So can I be forgiven for thinking of that. Because that’s what I think it’s always been. That’s what I’ve been saying. He is an agent of chaos. He is the Manchurian conservative and he is there to destroy our economy and our country and our small businesses in Main street, all the people that support him and vote for him. He’s there as your enemy. His policies are either these are the dumbest people in the world or just planned chaos. And I don’t think they’re the dumbest people in the world.
The White House has been left looking back footed and ridiculous. Trump has to show a win of some sort. No doubt something that might pass for one will eventually be plucked from the melee, but it’ll be token stuff. Yeah, I think chaos is the plan. Trust the plan. Well, trust was the plan. And they want you to trust him even when it’s chaos, because that’s their plan. The plan is to get you to trust them even though he unleashes chaos over and over again. There have been two defining retreats in particular, he says. First, the pause in the reciprocal tariffs in the face of a potentially catastrophic market sell off.
Second, attempts to sack the chairman of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, likewise quickly ditched when the markets ran for the hills. Hopes of an early trade deal with Japan turned to dust after its trade representative took great offense at the abrasive street fighting manner of Howard Lutnick, the US Commerce secretary, and returned to Tokyo in a state of apoplectic rage. That wasn’t reported by the Trump media, was it? Howard Lutnick really got the Japanese trade representative angry. Couldn’t believe it, the way he was treated. Lutnick’s approach has similarly ruffled British trade negotiators. With the promise of an early deal fading fast, reasonable proposals such as lowering reciprocal tariffs on cars to only 2.5% rather than 25% have gone nowhere.
He says the problem is the absence of clear goals and a focus from the U.S. in other words, nobody and I reported on this as well. The people, these various trade representatives of different countries say we don’t really know what their goals are. We don’t know really what they want to do. That’s why I say the policy is chaos. There is no plan except for chaos. And to make sure that you, no matter what he does, you trust him. Those are the plans. But he doesn’t have any goal. He doesn’t have a focus of what he wants to do, so nobody can negotiate with him.
All right, well, then we’ll come back when you’ve Made up your mind or whatever. A scheduled summit of G7 leaders in Canada, six weeks time, well, that’ll be enough time for things to get really bad if Trump doesn’t reverse yet again. Is seen potentially as an opportunity to form a, quote, coalition of the willing, unquote, to stand up to Trump’s bullying. China has meanwhile dismissed claims that it is nearing a deal with Washington. They called it fake news and called on the US to cancel all unilateral tariffs if it even wants to talk. So you start first.
You started by piling all this stuff on. So first take that off and let’s talk about how we want to change that things. But until you take that stuff off, we’re not talking, says China. Anthony Scaramucci is the one, I didn’t realize this, who initially came out and said that you want to take Trump seriously, but not literally. Seriously, but not literally. Well, this guy says, as we’re now learning, it’s the other way around. Trump should be taken literally, but not seriously. He is a laughingstock. His policy positions change with such frequencies, often dramatically, so that it is impossible to know what is real and what isn’t.
One moment he wants the chairman of the Federal Reserve fired, the next, he says he’s never had any such intention. It would be nice to think that tomorrow we might awake to find that it’s all been a bad dream. The bewildering confession of it all is that it is entirely real. In the past week alone, the US has gone from using the threat of reciprocal tariffs to isolate China to being nice to China, substantially paring back the tariffs imposed, and then back again to where there is little possibility of a deal anytime soon as he rage, tariffed them up to 145%.
Just a temper tantrum from an egotistical little tyrant who has been given the reins of government by a frightened Congress. It is sickening to think of the profits being made by cronies and insiders from this ongoing back and forth switches in policy. And it is. But of course, nobody, as he points out, is going to do anything about it to call Trump on any of this stuff. Because you know, anybody who. He’s now been inoculated based on his popularity and based on the lawfare that was done by Biden, he’s now been inoculated against any accusations of improper insider trading or manipulation of the markets or all the rest of the stuff.
And yet we know that’s going on. Everybody looks at it and this is a guy from the uk. It is sickening to think of the profits being made by his cronies and by the insiders from his switchbacks in policy. He’s constantly flipping it. And we know that this is how these guys make money. They don’t make money when things are level or going up gradually. They make money when the markets shoot up and shoot down. These are the guys who have the advanced knowledge when the market shoots up and shoots down. So he says, you’re not going to get any congressional oversight.
You’re not going to get any oversight from the securities and Exchange Commission, the sec. The two of them are so supine, so cowed and now stacked with Trump loyalists that we will never see it, and nobody seems to care. As scandalous though, as it looks from the outside. As a matter of fact, a couple of Democrats have said this needs to be investigated. What he’s done with this insider trading, manipulation of the market, and, you know, this meeting that he’s got in Mar a Lago with all these people who are buying his Trump meme coins, and how he’s structured this thing with World Liberty to allow people to anonymously contribute to him by investing in World Liberty.
And when somebody says that needs to be looked at immediately. You see these Trump cheerleader sites like Breitbart say, it begins, look, they’re going to come after Trump again and again. They cried wolf so many times on Trump under Biden in the last four years that really they don’t have that card to play. And he knows that. He knows that he’s been given a get out of jail free card for no matter what kind of corruption he wants to get involved in. And he’s doing it openly, folks, openly involved in all this stuff. And now is the time that he should be investigated.
But he’s not going to. This guy says as long as Peter Navarro, Trump’s senior counselor for trade and manufacturing, one of the architects of today’s terrorist wars, remains on board, it’s going to be hard to take Trump seriously. Not that there’s much chance of Navarro being sacked. Described by Elon Musk as, quote, dumber than a sack of bricks, Navarro is regarded by Trump as family, a loyalist of such unquestioning devotion that he was prepared to serve time for refusing to testify against Trump, which he did. So he’s a Democrat. Peter Navarro is a Democrat. There was an article, Drudge put it up, A Cabinet of Losers.
And they talked about all the people that had run for elected office. I didn’t realize that Pete Hegseth had run for office. Caroline Levitt, his press secretary, had run a couple of times for Congress and on and on. Almost everybody, even people like Linda McMahon, had run for Congress or something at some point. Kerry Lake is there. And so their take was that you’ve got all these people who lost elections and they talked about Peter Navarro as being the biggest loser of them all. He got 7% of the vote when he ran. I mean, this is like third party vote totals, you know, getting 7% of the vote.
And he ran in the Democrat primary. And so, yeah, I guess he’s the biggest loser. No, actually the people who are the biggest losers are the people who died from his ventilator policy. Yeah, he was the one who was telling GM and Ford to shut down and make ventilators. I wonder what he wants them to make after he shuts them down. This time for good. Right? From draining the swamp to drowned in debt. Dozens of MAGA betrayals and just four months. And this is from Free Thought Project. Three months into Trump administration, the new regime is repeatedly trampling maga’s most cherished values.
Even though the base is praising this. MAGA is eating its principles and itself. It really is. I wonder how hard it is for them to eat their principles. It’s not hard at all. It goes down very easily with a stack of cash. If you’re in the media. Big government and economic suicide, to civil liberties violations, to MAHA betrayals. MAGA base appears to be more interested in power than in principle. Yeah, that’s right. They don’t care about principles anymore. They don’t care about limited government, nothing. Free markets, nothing. Lower taxes, nothing. Stack the taxes, that’s fine, don’t care about it at all.
They are more concerned with power than with principles. That has been for the longest time what characterized our politicians. And now it characterizes the political bases of both parties, both the Democrats and Republicans, more interested in political power than in principle. We have deportations without due process based on the government’s accusations. Don’t have to prove it, just point a finger. Suppression of speech through detention. Attempts to deport legal immigrants if they criticize Israel. A prevailing MAGA delusion that basic constitutional rights and natural rights are only applied to citizens. In other words, people that the government designates as worthy of rights.
Yeah, that was not the vision of America. We have these rights because we’re human beings, not because we’re citizens of the United States. That was never in the Declaration of Independence. I still remember that quote from one person on Twitter said, oh, so today we’re talking about rights for illegal immigrants. Hard pass. Well, the illegal immigrants don’t have a right to be here, but they still have rights to due process. And if they don’t have rights to due process, and if terrorists and if murderers don’t have rights to due process, guess what? Neither will you. Because then your government becomes the terrorist and the murderer.
Because they don’t have to be constrained. And unrestrained power always leads to terrorism and murder. Real ID enforcement. Oh, that’d be fine if Trump does it. They’d have a fit if it was going on with Biden. But they’ll be fine with it because it’s Trump. The deletion of federal police misconduct database that Trump himself created, he’s getting rid of it now. So when you talk about economic freedom, the Senate House Republican budget proposals, increasing the deficit, increasing the debt ceiling. I mean, Trump wanted it gone for two years. Okay, we’ll do that. We’ll work on that.
In February, numerous Republicans in the Senate voted down Senator Rand Paul’s amendment to make significant spending cuts. Musk’s Doge operation and the White House claim massive savings. But so far the only rescissions package that they have sent to Congress to make the cuts permanent. It is for a paltry $9 billion. That’s only about. They only need to make it. You know, that’s about one thousandth of the budget there. Three orders of magnitude. You’re not going to get rid of all the spending. Okay. But you’re still about 1/1,000th of what the government spends is what they want to cut.
Yeah, we’re not even talking about 1%. We’re talking about 1/10 of 1%. So Maga has gone from complaining about government intervention in the free market to insisting that paying higher prices is patriotic. As I said before, they were flipped out about the price of eggs and should have been because it was entirely a non existent problem. And it was created entirely by the Biden administration, the federal government’s usda. And now we’re going to see the price of everything go up with a government created problem. But now it’s a good thing that everything is going to go up.
Like the price of eggs. Farmers can’t survive in these new economic restrictions. The government is going to have to bail them out like Trump had to do on his first term. So I guess we have universal basic income. Yeah, that’s what we’re being pushed to. No action on promises to abolish the income tax or abolish the irs. Now he did come out and talk about that again. And we’ll talk about that coming up here. But when you look at the MAHA stuff, the very premise of MAHA relies on big government and widespread prohibition. Ban this chemical or ban that additive.
Well, here I think that the federal government should not be involved in any of this stuff. Federal government is not there to inspect our food. We can get that done at the local level and be better to have it done at the local level. But the problem is that they’re not banning poisons, they’re not banning the bioweapon injection of Trump. The problem is, is that the FDA exists in order to give the illusion of regulation the illusion of inspection. You don’t even need to have a government agency to do that. You have underwriters, labs that looks at electrical equipment and can validate that.
You don’t even need to have government doing most of these things. It could be done by a private organization because if the private organization fails, guess what? They go out of business. They’ve got an incentive to do it right. Is there an incentive for the government to do it right? Whether you’re talking about the federal level or at the state level, no, there is no incentive for them if they get it wrong. What do they say? Well, we need to have more staff. You need to make us bigger. Yeah, we messed up. Hey, we did our best, but we messed up.
So we need to have more people. And they never pay any penalty for this. So they don’t do any oversight. If you were talking about these poisonous drugs, the FDA tells the pharmaceutical companies that they’re free to do anything. Trump appointed a seed oil industry insider to be the chief of staff of the usda. So, so much for the MAHA stuff, right? They’ve granted preliminary authorization for poultry vaccine for bird flu outbreaks and Trump’s FDA has fast tracked a self amplifying MRNA vaccine because guess what, Vivek Ramaswamy, JD Vance, all of their big tech brothers are all involved in the self amplifying MRNA vaccine.
Are we going to drain the swamp while we put in Wall street bankers with ties to the Federal Reserve? He’s got Howard Lutnick who has ties to the stablecoin. We know that’s what he’s going to do with that. Also George Soros acolyte, the Scott Besant. Trump bragged that Charles Schwab that owns the deeply entrenched Banking Corporation made $2.5 billion off of tariff induced market chaos. You see insider trading and he brags about it because he knows that if anybody calls him on, first of all, nobody in his administration, Department of Justice, the sec. Nobody’s going to call him on that.
Congress isn’t going to call him on it. And if you wind up with a Democrat Congress in two years and they call him on it, guess what he’ll say? Well, you guys are at it again. That’s already the excuse. And somebody even talked about it. Trump’s plan to take back Panama led to Larry Fink and Blackrock’s acquisition, even though China’s most likely going to block the sale. Trump was reportedly aware of Blackrock’s play and intentionally omitted their name from his congressional address touting the acquisition. There’s been no Epstein list. The deep administration ties to Palantir, the CIA backed corporation spearheading the rise of the technocratic police state.
A $500 billion deal, day one or two, right, with this guy. You know, the. This was the sky. Let’s see, what was the name of it? Skygate, or something like that. Stargate. Stargate. No apparent Doge scrutiny of Musk’s extensive military and intelligence contracts. No scrutiny of the military or the intelligence agencies at all by Musk. It’s not just Musk’s involvement in it. There’s going to be no scrutiny of any of that stuff. And then the peace president, he’s still sending weapons to Ukraine despite all the blustering and posturing about peace. And he’s got an appointment of hardcore Zionists and pro Israel shills to direct violation of America first calls to annex Gaza.
That’s what I mean with him. He doesn’t even try to pretend that it’s about anything other than taking the land and making a lot of money off of it, developing there and then threatening war with Iran, as always. So people are trapped in a two party system. Oh, by the way, we could also talk about the bombing of Yemen and Somalia. We will get to that in a moment. Because the stakes are so high, people are more willing to abandon their values in exchange for feeling that they have some say over the increasingly deteriorating system. See, this is why people do this.
They make a rational decision. Well, the stakes are so high because we put everything in Washington. And so people have been so conditioned to outsource their power to politicians in the state that they’re more willing to rationalize hypocrisy and tyranny. And what is the remedy to that? The only way that we get out of this trap is if we stop demanding that everything be fixed there. The only way that we get out of this is if we start preparing our own families and our own lives and our own community. And we start to take control of that and try to get out of this system, it’s going to be fixed from the bottom up or it’s not going to be fixed at all.
As long as we demand that we’re going to have some savior in Washington fix us that is just doubling down on the problem. Well, we’re going to take a quick break. I’m going to drink here and then we’re going to talk about some of the messages and comments and many, many kind tips that we’ve had. And again we have. I’m Marty, who is matching tips on different platforms today. Thank you so much, Marty. We’re going to take a quick break and we’ll be right back. You’re listening to the David Knight show. All right. Welcome back. On Rumble, Guard Goldsmith says I’m working on a piece for MRC TV now on Trump opening more to mining on land that the US Doesn’t Constitution allowed to control.
Of course, because the Chinese exports of minerals are now slammed with tariffs, this is cutting off our nose to spite our face. Just as I said about the rare earth minerals, you know, the guy that was there, he said, yeah, you know, they’ve got like 70% of the minerals. They own 90% of the processing. But he goes, when it comes to the vital super magnets that are necessary for everything from consumer goods to military equipment, they have 98% of that mineral market. So we need to have that in America. Great. Okay, so how far away are we? Five years.
Okay. So ain’t gonna happen. You know, what are you gonna do in the meantime for five years? This is the insanity behind all this stuff, everything about it. You’re right. Yeah. They have no constitutional authority to own that property in the first place. On Rumble do Duke Newcomb, thank you very much for the tip. And is now a monthly supporter on rumble. Thank you. Says 7G Smart Dust is being sprayed on all of us via chemtrails. Gives us a Mac address to trace, track and target us. That’s what the jabs also do. Beware. Well, you know, it’s interesting I pointed that out.
I said, so is Yuval Harari trying to give us a tip? He says, you know, the next thing is we’re going to be, we’re going to be spying on you under your skin. I think there’s a lot to that on Rumble. Macpool, thank you very much. That is very kind. I appreciate that. Very generous on Kik Doug 007 it’s really interesting. David I didn’t know about Biden’s plan for trucking. My husband works in a warehouse as a shift lead and he was telling me about how most of the truck drivers he was working with spoke little to no English.
And now we know why. The 2021 program, what was it? What did I say? Doubled it or something is amazing. So now we got all these people who don’t speak any English. You know, Trump by coming in and saying we’re going to get rid of people, you know, going to take away the commercial driver’s license if they don’t read and speak English. And that really does need to be done. And that would be a good move to make. And he does it in a smart way politically by, you know, focusing on the non English thing rather than focusing on the citizenship.
Karen Carpenter says, happy birthday, Dave. Thank you very much. Appreciate that. On Rumble DG8, thank you for the tip. He says, david, these people say Trump is trolling. Did we elect a child? What happened to common sense and accountability? Everything this cult was opposed to now supports. If Trump does it, it is mind boggling. It says happy birthday. Thank you. Yeah. Who is he trolling? Maybe he’s trolling them as well. Right on rumble. I’m Marty. Thank you very much, Marty. He says MAGA make Americans gullible again. He says, and we need to top off a gas tank.
Thank you so much. Marty tipped me. And Marty is matching tips. Thank you so much for doing that. And he’s doing it on all platforms, by the way. Zelle is one of the platforms. If you have access to that, that, that is a good platform because they don’t have any fees, at least not at the time. Not yet. On Rumble Timed non Tides says, what do you think of libertarians positioning themselves as if they’re against Trump policies while they supported him? Reminds me of how he isn’t guilty of anything he does either. That’s right. We had.
The Libertarian Party now has become a. They rejected a couple of election cycles ago. They rejected their non aggression principle, which was the core of the Libertarian Party and the statement of principles that they had there was that we reject the use of force or fraud to achieve social or political goals. They had a problem with that. The recent leadership did. It’s like, really, what’s wrong with that? What’s wrong with opposing force and fraud to achieve social and political goals? Well, you know, that’s one of the reasons why it only mattered to them if they could get Trump to speak at their convention.
Right. That’s all they cared about. So Trump is now hinting yet again that he’s going to get rid of the income tax, maybe even get rid of it altogether. He’s going to lower it, maybe get rid of it altogether. Well, stop and think about this. You know, if the tariffs are so successful in terms of raising money, then and he gets rid of the income tax, where he cuts it down. Well, for that to happen, that means if he’s going to make money from tariffs, that’s going to mean that people are not going to build factories in the US Are going to continue with their factories in other countries and continue put stuff in.
So that means that his stated objective, he, he keeps telling everybody, well, I don’t care about the tariffs. I just want factories to come back. Well, if the factories come back, you don’t get the tariff revenue, so you’re not going to be able to replace the income tax. And oh, by the way, should anybody point out that even if he stacks the tariff revenue on top of the income tax revenue, we’re nowhere close. These people are adding to the deficit trillions of dollars every year. It’s going up even faster than it was a few months ago when it was going up a trillion dollars every 100 days.
So how in the world can you cut the income tax? Basically what you’re saying is that my tariffs are not going to bring back jobs to America. It’s just going to raise the prices is what he’s saying. Or if it does bring jobs back to America, then he’s not going to be able to get rid of or to lower the income tax because he’s going to need the revenue. Except the reality is that the Republicans and Democrats don’t care. The Democrats obviously don’t care about the deficit. Never have. The Republicans always say that they do, but they don’t follow through with actions.
Trump wanted to get rid of the debt ceiling for the next two years. Nobody cares about it. And I’ve said this, why don’t we just get rid of the income tax? Because they don’t care about it. It’s not necessary. They don’t care about increasing the deficit it at all. That’s why it’s over $37 trillion now. They don’t care about it. And the taxes don’t even come close to covering what they spend. And they’re not talking about cutting the spending. You know, it’s been less than $10 billion in suggested cuts. Will the Republicans in Congress do that? No, they won’t even do the $10 billion in cuts.
So Breitbart says Trump said on Sunday that his tariff policy will substantially reduce, maybe even completely eliminate income, some American workers. And that’s the headline. See, he’s going to get rid of the income tax. They’re bringing that up. Again, folks, that is a lie. There’s absolutely no way that he’s going to do it. And there’s absolutely no reason why we should have tariffs and income taxes. If they don’t care about the deficit, if the deficit doesn’t matter, if we’ve got modern monetary theory and the deficits don’t matter, why do they have to raise the taxes? Well, you know, the Democrats and their modern monetary theory says that you use taxes as a break on inflation.
We don’t care about the deficit. If inflation starts to pick up, what we do is we raise taxes on people that we don’t like. Now, what is the Trump plan? Trump plan is to tell people that I’m going to cut their income tax and then I’m going to actually raise the tariffs and I’m never going to get rid of the income tax. That’s the reality. When tariffs come in, many people’s income taxes will be substantially reduced, maybe even completely eliminated. Well, then that means again that you’re not going to get the businesses back internally. You’re not expecting then that the businesses are going to reshore.
And look, here’s the thing. If they get more money from tariffs, they’ll just spend even more. They’re never going to shut down the spending. This is why Republicans used to always understand about the Democrats. They were tax and spend. They would always say, well, we’ve got this deficit, so we need to raise taxes. They’d get the new taxes and they’d spend even faster than they did before. There’s never been any fiscal discipline. They never are going to slow down the spending. They will only accelerate it when they get more money. And then they’ll tell you things like this, don’t worry, other people are going to pay the money.
The other people are going to pay the taxes. That’s pure Democrat demagoguery. And of course, Trump is a New York City Democrat. Maybe Breitbart says that this may be. He may be citing the attractive idea again in the face of continuing criticism by detractors that he has launched a destructive trade war that has rattled the US Stock market and will result in higher prices for consumers. Yeah, that’s exactly what’s going on. And because it is a trade war, they put trade war in quotes. It is a Trade war, Breitbart. They have become unbelievably dishonest as sycophants for Trump.
Breitbart has lost all credibility, they said in recent weeks. Wall street seems to be hanging on every word by Trump as we see the Dow average fluctuating. The tariff policies have also rattled the US Bond market. Some observers have said that this has prompted Trump to dial back some of his policy. It’s not that the markets are forcing it. It says on and off. That has rattled the marketplace even more so than the tariffs. Yeah, these geniuses in the Trump administration were surprised. Isn’t it funny he calls himself a stable genius. He’s not stable. He’s vacillating.
And he isn’t a genius. He’s a laughingstock internationally. So this is the Hill. Trump’s flirtation with millionaire tax increase gets a big pushback from the elites on the right. They don’t have a problem with him doing tariffs. They don’t have a problem with the deficit. They don’t have a problem with any of that. But when he talks about increasing taxes on the rich, oh, now the Republican establishment will finally say something. And that is about the only thing that they will push back on. Don’t tax the rich, tax the middle class. That’s what has to be done.
And again, isn’t this typical New York City Democrat? Let’s tax the millionaires. Everything that Trump does is Democrat. It telegraphs that he’s got the mindset of a New York City Democrat. Don’t worry, you won’t pay the taxes. Those people in foreign countries and big corporations will pay the taxes. And it’s not fair. They should have been paying taxes all along. So we’re going to tax them in the name of fairness. That’s Trump. That’s a Democrat. We’re going to put a millionaire tax on. That’s Trump. That’s a Democrat. So Grover Norquist reminded us that George H.W. bush lost his 1992 reelection after breaking his pledge.
Read my lips. No new taxes. Taxes. But this is a new tax. The tax and spend. Globalists, the Bushes and Trump. And so do you know how many times he’s on video saying that we’re going to have a tax cut for every single American upper class, middle class. And how many times on tape he vilified Lala Harris for wanting to raise taxes on upper income Americans and small businesses? Yeah, he just forget about all that. He’s in office now. And besides that, he’s a Democrat. He even had an interview by Time magazine. And Trump even said what Grover Norquist said.
He said that about George H.W. bush. He says, I certainly don’t mind. This is Trump. I certainly don’t mind having a tax increase. Sir, of course he doesn’t. He’s a New York Democrat. And the only reason I wouldn’t support it is because I saw Bush where they said, where he said, read my lips. And he lost an election. He said, as he told Time magazine, it’s all just what’s in his best interest. Trump made his comments to Time in an interview on Tuesday, then backpedaled when he was asked about the idea on Wednesday about raising taxes.
Yeah, I don’t mind raising taxes. Millionaire tax, that’d be good. He doesn’t believe anything he says. Trump doesn’t believe Trump. And so again, when we look at all of this, it’s not just the truck drivers, it’s now the dock workers who are out there. Their union is saying tariffs are taxes. These and other reckless, short sighted policies have begun to devastate American workers, harm critical sectors of the economy and line the pockets of the ultra wild wealthy at the expense of hard working families. He’s absolutely right. They said this agenda doesn’t put America first. They said, look, we don’t support the free trade agreements that are out there.
They have negatively impacted American workers. They have prioritized corporate profits at the expense of good paying union jobs in America. However, this haphazard destructive tariff plan is a sad excuse for fair trade. They don’t like it. And again, it’s because of the uncertainty, the vacillation, that is what’s really destructive. And we can have a debate about the level of taxation, the level of spending, the form of taxation that we should have. But it’s this uncertainty. What if he was coming out with the income tax, let’s say, and saying, okay, well the tax rate is going to be this and the next day he doubles it.
The next day he cuts it by a quarter. You know, the next day he says, well I’m going to get rid of it. I mean you take any policy like that, any economic policy, if you’re constantly changing it every 12 to 24 hours, then what’s that going to do to the economy? Well, it’s going to lock it down. One person said global supply chains cannot change on a dime. Even with a 90 day pause. Once these problems hit, they will continue for a while. Starting in a couple weeks, we’re going to start running out of stuff.
If the administration wants to resolve this problem until we have wants to wait to resolve the problem until we have shortages, until we have hoarding, until we have problems on the supply chain. At that point, it’s too late. And you know, when we talk about even the Federal Reserve and other issues like that, as I’ve said, you know, when I talked to Tony, I’ve watched the Federal Reserve and these geniuses in Washington in their own minds as they create policies that cause massive inflation. And guess what? They can’t get control of it again. After they push Humpty Dumpty off the wall, they can’t put him back together again.
All the king’s horses, all the king’s men, all the economists, they don’t know how to put it back together again. And that’s what’s dangerous about this. He doesn’t understand what he’s doing. He doesn’t see how dangerous the uncertainty is. And once he breaks Humpty Dumpty, what’s going to happen? You can’t stop it right away. Every day, and with each mixed signal from the Trump administration, the economy is pushed into a longer period of disruption and uncertainty. Well, that’s the reality on kik. Angry Tigers Den has gifted a subscription. Thank you very much. I appreciate that. And Anzell, Angela O.
Thank you very much. And Jason M. Also Anzel, Andrew W. On Zell, who writes Happy Birthday, Dave. Thank you. That’s one thing on Zell, you can’t leave a message. Really. That’s more than a couple of words long. Anzell, Charles M. Thank you. And Kimberly C. And Ryan F. Thank you very much. That’s very generous. Glad to hear that. I’m. Marty has stepped up to match tips again. Hope there’s a good rally today and tomorrow to meet the goal. Thank you so much. And thank you to Marty, who has very generously done this. This is not his first rodeo.
He did that every quarter. Last year. On Rumble, Trumpberger says the U.S. navy just dropped a $40 million fighter off the carrier. In the ocean is. I got that to talk about next. Guess who’ll be paying the bill. The US Navy just dropped it into the ocean. That’s right. And so I guess loose lips sink ships. And I guess loose jets also will sink. We’re gonna take a quick break. We’ll be right back. Here’s a little song I wrote. You might want to hear it in your pot. You’ll owe nothing and be happy. Ain’t got no cash, Ain’t got no car but 24 booster shots in your arm oh, nothing.
Be happy. You can’t Even buy in the store because of your low social credit score. Oh, nothing. Be happy. You will own nothing and be happy. Be happy and eat some bugs. They’re doing what in the place they named after me. Good thing I have the David Knight show to keep me informed on the plots of these traitors. Making sense. Common again. This is the David Knight show. Well, the US has launched 750 airstrikes on Yemen since March 15th. Yeah, six weeks of this. 750 airstrikes, we got a full on war. Has anybody debated that? Have any discussion about whether or not we want to do that? This is for Israel.
It is for Saudi Arabia, this Yemen war that is there. Yemeni group is also not deterred by a US UK bombing campaign that was conducted under Biden from January 2024 to January 2025. Just a bipartisan thing. This is all being done in your name and with your debt. This is what is happening with. That’s where the plane fell off the ship. The only thing that was able to stop the Houthi attack on Israel and the Red Sea shipping was the Gaza ceasefire. And after that was violated by Israel, it started again. And all of this bombing campaign, 750 airstrikes have not stopped the Houthis.
They announced that they would impose their blockade on Israeli shipping. In response to that announcement, the US Began bombing Yemen yet again. Yemeni air defenses have taken out multiple Reaper drones which are worth $30 million each, downing seven of them in the month of April alone. The Houthis have also continued to launch missile and drone attacks on Israel and on US Warships in the region. As I said before, we now have asymmetric air warfare. They can take out our $30 million drones with. I don’t know how much their missiles are, but I guarantee you that they’re Nowhere close to $30 million.
We have seen asymmetric warfare in occupied areas like Iraq and Afghanistan. You know, we go in with shock and awe and air support and we take them out. And now the question is, you know, what do we do with this air warfare that is there? Now we’ve got the asymmetric warfare as far as drones are going. The US has been bombing Yemen using two aircraft carriers in the region and B2 bombers stationed at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. The Pentagon has shared virtually no details about its war, which was not authorized by Congress. But it is likely.
The bombing campaign has already cost billions in just one month. So you really believe that they’re going to get rid of the income tax? You think they’re going to somehow balance the budget? I don’t think so at all. As a matter of fact, Peter Hitchens, who is the brother of Christopher Hitchens, the glib atheist who died a few years ago. Peter is a Christian, but he is also conservative. And he said, they lied to us about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction and now they’ve taken it to another level with Ukraine. With Ukraine, he said, in my trade, that is, as a reporter writer, he says, I’ve long grown used to the way that governments lie and get others to lie for them.
It is what they do. But I have seldom seen such a cloud of lies as we now face. Hardly anyone in this country, in the UK and I would say in the US either, knows the truth about Ukraine. There’s been nothing like it since. We were all lied to about the Iraq invasion with all the bilge about fictional weapons of mass destruction. And I would remind you again, who was it that created those lies? It was Gina Haspel who did it with that torture program. And she, she took the lies that were created with the torture program.
You torture people, get them to say whatever you want. See, he said this, she shops that to the Bush White House. These lies about weapons of mass destruction. And we got lied into the Iraq war. Trump even called that out. And yet he appointed Gina Haspel, who ran all of that and who sold all the lies. He made her the head of the CIA in his first term. Yeah, that’s the amazing thing about it. Like Dave Chappelle said, what’s amazing about Trump is he comes out and he tells you the truth. And then he goes, comes out of the building and the meeting, you know, where this club is meeting, and tells, you can’t believe the kind of stuff that they’re doing in there.
And then he goes right back in. He joins him again. We got lied into the Iraqi War about lies with weapons of mass destruction. And then he goes right back in and he, he appoints her the head of the CIA. He said, well, what did they learn from all this? They learned how to lie even more skillfully, says Peter Hitchens. We have never had a debate about the Ukraine crisis, which started from the beginning. Not in the US and not in his UK have we ever had a debate about this stuff. He says, did anyone in power ever tell you truthfully how and when or why this war began? No.
Did anyone in power explain why Britain crime blighted, decrepit, rubbish strewn, rat infested, broke. Britain had to get involved in it? No, never. You have just been fed propaganda rubbish about democracy and freedom and an invented Russian menace. The war, they say, was not provoked. Seldom in history was a war more provoked. Russians, he says, nice ones like the liberal democratic politician Jagor Gaidar, and nasty ones like despot Putin begged the west to stop trundling its military alliance, NATO, eastward towards Russia. All Russians, including the great anti communist author Alexander Solzhenitsyn, were shocked and angered when NATO in 1999 abruptly gave up its defensive posture and launched attacks on Yugoslavia, which had not attacked a NATO member.
Now think about that. Solzhenitsyn was astonished at that. And Christopher Hitchens is right to take this back to the Yugoslavian war. Russians have said, and I’ve alluded to it briefly, the fact that Russians have said, well, when we saw that, we realized that NATO was coming for Russia, even though the Cold War was over. It wasn’t over as far as NATO was concerned. They wanted more territory. And so, yeah, it really did begin back there with Yugoslavia. But then it got even bigger. These protests reached their peak in February 2007 when Putin made a dramatic speech in Munich.
He said NATO expansion was a serious provocation that reduces the level of mutual trust. We have the right to ask, he said, against whom is this expansion intended? Christopher Hitchens says George W. Bush, the genius who invaded Iraq, deliberately raised the temperature the following year. Can it be that Bush likes wars? So Putin says that. So he says, why are you increasing this? Right? It’s eight years after they had attacked Yugoslavia and everybody was amazed that that was happening. But, you know, hey, we’re just, who cares, right? We’re America. We get to do whatever we want.
So In April of 2008, Bush said that Ukraine should be placed on the path towards joining NATO. Even the Guardian, the liberal warmongers Gazette, conceded that this was, quote, likely to infuriate the Kremlin, unquote. And so it did. And so he says, I suspect that we were on the path to war from that moment on. I am always accused when I say that of making excuses for Putin, but I am not. I think he was stupid as well as wrong to be provoked. Wise men ignore provocations, but to claim that he was not provoked is to lie.
And I agree exactly with Christopher Hitchens. I was absolutely surprised that he took the bait and moved into Ukraine. We knew that they were doing everything they could to provoke it. I was surprised that he took the bait. Another lie we repeatedly told is that Russia attacked Georgia later in 2008. But anyone can find on the web a 2009. Reuters news agency story headlined Georgia started the war with Russia says an EU backed report. So the EU’s own report says that Georgia started this, the war with Russia, not the other way around. And that was made public by Reuters, among others.
He says. And then there’s the claim this is about democracy and freedom. It’s not. The more the west claims to care for these things, the less it does to help them. Ukraine’s elected president was lawlessly overthrown by a mob in 2014. That mob has three initials. CIA. He doesn’t go there. I’ll go there. He says Britain and the USA condoned the shameful event because they preferred the illegal rebels to the elected government. They actually created this. They actually created this. I mean, CIA, that’s what they do for, you know, they, they lie, they cheat, they steal, they have classes on it, as Pompeo said.
They also have classes on coups, assassinations and starting wars. And they’re pretty good at it. You will search in vain for protests against the treatment of Romania’s presidential candidate in a country that is in the EU and in NATO. Oh, by the way, I mean, we don’t even have to go to Romania. We can stay in Ukraine and we can look at the fact that Zelensky shut down the election. Zelensky arrests his opponents. Zelensky steals property from the church that’s been in Ukraine there for about four centuries because they have cultural ties to Russia. They have cultural ties to Russia because Ukraine and especially the Crimea have been a part of Russia for centuries as well.
A few weeks ago, the Turkish Putin, Erdogan arrested and jailed an opposition politician who looked likely to beat him at the polls. Are they complaining about Erdogan? No, he’s a NATO member. And as you pointed out in Romania, Georgescu’s election was annulled by judges in December when he looked like he was winning the first round. And he’s been banned from standing for a second round, all because he has the wrong kinds of politics. Okay, so that’s Romania, that’s Turkey. What about Germany? The German government is all but banning alternative for Deutschland. Afd. The, you know, they’re doing all kinds of things.
Take away guns from people who are in afd. They’re calling them terrorists. They are shutting them down. Same thing in France. You know, both in France and in Germany, they played, I guess you could say, you know, election rule games in order to make sure that the rising popularity of these different parties did not go through. So Le Pen’s party beat the established French parties in the European Parliament elections by a significant amount, caused them to have to have local elections. And in the local elections, they came in second. There was, you know, then a runoff for this stuff.
That was the first round of elections. And then in the final round of elections, they lost. So they were moving up significantly, and then they lost. And if you go back and you look at it, you see that in each of those three elections, the percentage vote total of Le Pen’s National Party was increasing each time. The reason that they lost in the last round, even though their percentages went up dramatically and everybody else’s percentages went down, was because everybody else, all these other parties in France conspired against AfD. It was a conspiracy. They all joined forces against AfD.
And what they said was, we’re going to look at this on a district by district basis, and if our candidate for parliament is ahead in this one, then you will step down and allow us to win without dividing the vote between us. And then in this other area, if you’re ahead, we’ll do the same thing for you. And that’s what they did. So even though you had the National Party’s election total go up, they lost seats because of that, and the establishment stayed in control. In Germany, similar stuff happened. When AFD came out ahead, they said, well, we’re not going to allow you to create a coalition, because that’s the way this always happens in parliamentary politics.
Nobody gets more than 50%. Everybody has to create a coalition. But nobody would create a coalition with a top vote getter. Instead, what they’re doing is portraying party members and anyone who votes for them as being terrorists, domestic terrorists. So whether you’re talking about Romania or Turkey or Germany or France, we don’t have democracies there. He says Erdogan has crushed free media in Turkey, free speech and the freedom to protest. But his country is still allowed to stay in NATO and Western states have made less noise than an angry vole guarding its nest. They are scared of Erdogan.
He says, I won’t even try to explain how Germany recently recalled its old dead parliament to push through laws the newly elected parliament would not pass. This was done to allow the spending of extra billions on the Ukraine war. But he said, I hope you get my drift. We need to demand proper debate, demand the truth. You got to start with free speech. And what is concerning is the fact that Trump doesn’t support free speech any more than Biden did. He wants to punish his enemies. He wants to shut down the press. That disagrees with him.
Anybody that doesn’t get the poll right, I want somebody fired or I’m going to come after you to shut you down. And his followers are just as intolerant of free speech as the radical left is. Now. We want people out of this country if they criticize Israel and so forth. So free speech is being held in contempt universally now in the west and even in the Trump administration and even amongst people who identify themselves as conservative Republicans. So with all of this, as a listener was saying earlier, the fighter jet that fell overboard fell overboard on the USS Truman and they were evading inbound Houthi fire.
It isn’t, we don’t really know the truth of this. I mean, it isn’t like, you know, so did you lock that thing down? I thought I did. Oh, well, it doesn’t like they, they forgot to turn the key and lock this thing down. They were in the midst of evasive maneuvers or whatever. That must have been pretty significant. The $60 million fighter jet has been lost at sea at a moment that American naval assets under US Central Command have been conducting bombing campaigns, 750 of them against Yemen’s Houthis. I prefer to call them Houthis, but they’re Houthis since March 15th.
It apparently rolled off the aircraft carrier, fell overboard. They said, well, or maybe something else happened. There was also another F818 from the Truman that was also mistakenly fired upon and shot down by the USS Gettysburg in the Red Sea in December. Both pilots ejected safely. All of this brings up the possibility that these US Warships have suffered direct hits in the past. But the Pentagon has kept it quiet, says Zerohedge Sina Tousi on social media says amid news that the F A18E fighter jet made a hard turn to evade Houthi fire and fell overboard is worth noting.
Okay, made a hard turn and fell overboard. So maybe it just didn’t roll off. Maybe there was incoming Houthi fire and it was maneuvering on the deck or something and then fell off as it was trying to maneuver on the deck. That would make more sense. I mean, you kind of expect that an aircraft carrier, they lock these things down pretty good when they come in. Right. The Houthis have claimed a direct hit on the USS Truman aircraft carrier. And Hezbollah’s Al Manar aired footage that it claims shows parts of the ship damaged and draped over.
Okay, so they’re lying to us about a lot of this stuff, aren’t they? Well, we’re going to take a quick break on Rumble Neurodivergent. Thank you very much for the tip says thanks for matching tips again, Marty. Yes, thank you. I’m in the process of setting up on kik, but will make any. But will make my contribution here for the last time. Thanks Knights and God bless. Thank you. That’s on Rumble and on Kick. Brian and Deb McCartney have gifted five subscriptions. Thank you so much, all of you. Well, we’re going to take a quick break and we will be right back.
I guess we’ll go to C. Since we were talking about this. In a world of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. You’re listening to the David Knight Show. Hello, it’s me, Volodymyr Zelensky. I’m so tired of wearing these same T shirts everywhere for years. You’d think with all the billions I’ve skimmed off America, I could dress better. And I could. If only David Knight would send me one of his beautiful gray McGuffin hoodies or a new black T shirt with the McGuffin logo in blue. But he told me to get lost. Maybe one of you American suckers can buy me some@the davidnightshow.com you should be able to buy me several hundred.
Those amazing sand colored microphone hoodies are so beautiful. I’d wear something other than green military cosplay to my various galas and social events. If you want to save on shipping, just put it in the next package of bombs and missiles coming from the usa. Well, yeah, there’s still going to be lots more bombs and missiles coming from the usa going to Zelensky. So there’s still time to get him some of those T shirts there. When we look at the, when we look at the belligerence that is happening around the world that we’re involved in, and I just talked about it yesterday how, you know, we never were a part of the landmine treaties, you know, not the U.S.
not Russia, not China, not North Korea, not Israel, not Iran. You know, all the belligerents that are out there, you know, they don’t want to join on to that landmine treaty because these things are not really effective at stopping the movement of troops yet. What it is, they are left behind and they kill a lot of civilians. 70% of the casualties from these mines come from civilians, not from soldiers. So it is something that targets civilians. And that’s, you know, what we have seen. But there’s other ways that they target civilians. Of course, with oppressive rules that are out there.
We see the TSA is being weaponized to Roll out the surveillance state. But this is an interesting article on the Telegraph talking about how the Fun Police came for your holiday. And I was going to play, but I don’t have it in the board here anymore. I was going to play the Beach Boys thing that I did, because whenever I look at that, I think about the Fun Police and Daytona Beach. That was so sad to go there. I think it was right around 2015, I think Karen and I went back. We had some family business that we had to finish in Tampa, and went over to Daytona beach, which was a place we used to go frequently.
And I remember as a kid being able to rent motorcycle scooters, really kind of small motorcycle. They had a governor on them. They wouldn’t go more than about 20 miles an hour. But it was exhilarating as a young kid who was too young to drive anything on the street, including a motorcycle, to be able to get one of these scooters and go up and down Daytona beach. And everybody was on the beach. And I showed pictures of that when I did a cover of the Beach Boys song, showed pictures of them. We went back in 2015.
They don’t let anybody get on the beach anymore. Just shut it down, of course, in the name of protecting the environment. And you can go way north or way south, and you can pay, pay what used to be free to be able to get on the beach. But it’s not at all the experience that it was at Daytona beach, because at Daytona beach, they had that vast expanse and what an absurd thing, you know, for 50 or more years you had, people were constantly driving on the beach. And the only concern was if you left your car parked there, people didn’t realize just how far in the tide would come.
And so you’d have people who were visiting there for the first time constantly. There were people who go around, made a pretty good living every day pulling people’s cars out of the. Out of the salt water as it’s coming up there. But it’s just so sad to see that. It’s such a ridiculous thing when you go back to the early 20th century and they were doing car races, car races before. That’s how the Daytona 500 came to be. They first started racing on the beach. So they would race down the packed sand side, and then they would race back on the road, A1A.
And, you know, then they had soft sand. That was where all the treacherous stuff was. But going up and down the paved road or the. Or the beach was fine, but now the fun police are there. And they want to make sure that nobody’s having any fun. So this is an article out of the UK and they were looking at places that a lot of people in Britain go to a lot of islands and other places are. The coastal Croatian city of Dubrovnik has installed noise meters in his old town in order to clamp down on restaurants and cafes who are hosting high spirited tourists.
Most of these things are clamping down on areas where people are going and drinking a lot and getting rowdy. So they’re putting restrictions on it. Paris has been shuttering some of its iconic outdoor terraces because people are getting drunk and rowdy there. San Diego is looking to ban picnic and parties on its beaches. Who could forget Amsterdam’s famous stay away marketing drive with its targeted chastising of British tourists above all others don’t come here. And so this person says. Could this be muscle memory from the pandemic, when bureaucrats and busybodies relished the chance to micromanage every aspect of our behavior? Yeah, definitely, definitely.
But I think actually this kind of stuff predates it. Like I said, you know, with Daytona beach, that was way before any of the pandemic stuff. They want to lock everybody down. The pandemic was just a massive step in that direction. A massive movement of the Overton window and it’s been left in place. The restrictions on overnight alcohol sales, not hard to spot similarities with the curfew style rules being pushed during the so called COVID pandemic. Even a new rule of six with patrons at all inclusive hotels limited to half a dozen alcohol drinks per day.
So there you go, there’s your six, your magic six. I’m not a number, I’m a free man. Perhaps it’s also related to over tourism, the new buzzword that’s seen a lot of locals in the Canary Islands and Amsterdam take to the street. Well again this is all going to come to a soon to a halt because they don’t want anybody traveling. You know, remember that the C40 rules these 40 large cities and now it’s almost probably it’s past 100 now. It was just under 100. Have band together. So they don’t want you to have any meat, no dairy, no travel of, you know, you can travel just under a thousand miles once every three years and you can buy three articles of clothing every year.
This is what people in cities like the mayors in cities like New York and London and other places like, they’ve all signed on to this. So you talk about the fun police. No, that’s just totalitarianism and it just manifests itself in recreational areas as well. That’s when people start to pay attention. That’s when it manifests itself in recreational areas. But they’re going to tell us what to eat, where we can go, how much we can travel. Tourism experts have drawn a link between destinations attempts to rebrand themselves in order to draw in higher spending. They said it’s a controversial strategy that’s closely associated with New Zealand, which raised some eyebrows in 2020 when the government ministers were up front about their intentions to discourage backpackers in favor of high net worth types who are going to go in and spend a lot of money on hotels.
But I just gave you the report about those two teenagers, German teenagers, and I said I thought it was really strange. Two young girls. I think they were like 18, 19 years old and they were traveling around the world. To me that’s a really bad idea. But nevertheless, they were able to backpack in New Zealand. They go to Hawaii and the TSA arrests them, or not tsa, but the border patrol arrests them because they don’t have a hotel booked. They’re backpackers. They’re backpacking everywhere. They put them in heavy manacles and handcuffs and all this kind of stuff, put them in a holding pen, eventually took them in handcuffs to the airport and kicked them out of the country.
They were backpackers. They’d been all over the place. America is the worst in terms of fun. Police Kick on kick Freelane says, I remember parking on the beach at Daytona back in the day. It was so much fun. It was. I can’t remember the number of times that my family went there because it wasn’t that far from Tampa. On Kick. Amber Forson Gold. Happy birthday, David. Wishing you good health. Thank you very much. Well, you know, we talk about the war on humans. I was sad to see this. We see so many things changing so rapidly.
I say to Karen is I’m getting old. I’m sounding like a get off my lawn type of old man, right? I can’t believe how fast everything is changing. And one of the reasons, and the reason I said that was because of one of the places that I would get the instruments that I use for these songs. And that was Spitfire Audio. And they’ve now just been bought out by a company that’s doing AI music. It’s like, ah, you know, and even with that, I mean, you know, things have changed pretty rapidly, you know, over the last.
But it’s gone. They’ve had a run, I guess, you know, for about 15, maybe 20 years of midi samples where people go in and they sample an orchestra or they sample an individual instrument. And it has been a. And it is still really a challenge for them to get something that sounds authentic and for you to use it, it in a way that sounds authentic. Because what they’ll do is they’ll go in and record a particular sound. It goes back really, I guess to. I remember Stevie Wonder, he had songs from the Key of Life. And what he did was he had a keyboard back in.
I think it was in the 70s. Yeah, it was in the 70s, I think, when they first did that. And he had all these different sounds that were sampled and he had them mapped onto different. Might be different animals or whatever, birds chirping or something, something. But they can go in and they can reproduce an orchestra. And a lot of times you would have to have different, you know, to make it sound realistic, to make it not sound like it was a synthesizer or something like that. There was a lot of nuance and control that had to come into it.
And so they would make libraries that would have the things that you needed for that kind of nuance and control. You’d have different articulations, even for a string section, and you’d put them in string by, you know, section by section. And it was kind of cool for somebody like me because I could go in and do an entire orchestral score with these types of samples. And it was something that was actually used commercially by a lot of people who were doing soundtracks for video games or soundtracks for TV programs and even a lot of low budget films.
And a lot of people who are doing big budget films would do a MIDI arrangement so they could play it for the director and the director could get an idea of what they liked and give them some feedback of what they wanted changed and that type of thing. So it was something that has been there and that was a real change using technology from having to go only with physical orchestras or physical players and everything. But it had its own. It has own creative input into it, right? There was a lot of orchestration issues, there was a lot of mixing issues.
It was something of an art itself. Even though you didn’t have to learn how to master the sound of an instrument, you still had to learn how to master to, you know, to pull them together and to master an audio mix and that type of thing. But now, you know, they’re going to go to AI and they’re going to. You just tell it in a prompt. I want this style of music and Maybe use some of these instruments and everything. And it’s just like. It’s like, what is up with that? And so it was kind of sad to see.
This is a Spitfire Audio. They were sold for about $50 million to a company called Splice that has a net worth of $640 million to do AI driven music creation. Well, I don’t know. I mean, you know, we’ll see what happens. There have been some AI programs that allow you to actually get a singer that will sing the words, and that’s something they haven’t been able to do. You can get large choruses together that sound good, but of course they don’t really. You can’t hear any lyrics with it. And as one of these, one of these places said that and they had a really great sounding chorus, but you know, it’s just going to do like, like E, ah, oh.
That type of stuff. And the guy said, well, okay, here’s a good example of it. You know, you look at Carmina Barana and you know, what are they actually saying here? You know, is this a song about an octopus in shoes or whatever? You know, and so somebody did like a cartoon animation of it and what it actually sounded like they were saying here you get a large chorus together, you typically can’t understand what they’re saying anyway. But you know, there might be some stuff like that in terms of singing and being able to do lyrics.
I’ve experimented with a little bit of that stuff, but it really is a disappointment to see that everything is being dumbed down. I was talking about it with Whistler a while back and the fact that when everything was really. When you didn’t have technology there, even to the extent, as one guy who said, I’ve gone. I’ve been in the recording business as a recording engineer going back to when we just had, you know, like eight tracks in a recording studio or whatever. And you would have to be very careful about how you mixed it. You just didn’t have an infinite number of options that were there.
Once everything became digital. You had digital audio workstations and all that kind of. You had an infinite number of lossless things that you could combine. And he said it was very different. He said in the early days you would have. People would have to prepare because there wasn’t all this flexibility in the recording equipment. People would have to come prepared for the recording session. And it was just kind of like a mini live concert, basically. You couldn’t re record all this stuff over and over again. And he said, and it was actually better music. And we were talking about that how when sometimes when you go back and you look at.
There was an excellent video that we watched about the creation of these wooden sailing ships and the ones that were used for fighting. Unbelievable how complex it was and the kind of creativity that comes out of the human mind when necessity causes invention and we’re going in the opposite way. That’s the thing that concerns me about AI it’s just how it’s dumbing everything down. Well, that’s my little hobby horse there. And before we finish up, let’s talk a little bit about what’s going on with the attack on the dollar. We have. We see these prices, a lot of volatility, even in gold, but in silver.
This is on Kitco said silver situation is complex, but prices could hit $40 by the summer, maybe even $50 by year end. And again, that’s the big question. Why is silver not going up like gold is? And when we have the dollar declining in value, what is happening with that? But gold rallies as people took a lot of profit off of it and it went back down to the $3,300 level, which is still huge considering where it was just a couple of months ago. But now it’s starting on its way back up again. The British Royal Mint sees record online bullion sales, but in the US and Australia they’re seeing mixed demand.
So, you know, we really don’t know what’s going to happen with it. I’d just say as we look at all these problems, you may want to make sure that you are starting to get things outside of the system. And that’s, you know, Tony Artaban at Wise Wolf Gold. He set up David Knight Gold to let him know that you’re coming through us. And again, he can help you to gradually do this. He can help you with a gold and silver IRA gold or silver or both of them. And he can also help you with a large transaction or with a Wise Wolf program doing it on a monthly basis.
Again, if you go to Davidite gold, that’d be one way to get out of it and at least partially and have something that is going to help you in case you have a long term takedown of this system with the economic unrest that we see as well. But here’s the other issue. As I said before, privacy is priceless. And there was an interesting article on Cointelegraph which talks about crypto coins and it says this, it says, why do crypto bros like Freedom Cities? And you might ask yourself that question, because again, when we talk about crypto makes you think that it’s secret, but it’s not secret.
You know, there are some ways that you can do that, but you’ve got to be careful about it. There’s some certain coins that are, that are outside of the system, like Monero and others. I don’t remember all of them offhand because I don’t necessarily get into it. But I mean, if you want to get into crypto, there are some coins, but you got to be deliberate about it. And it’s not Bitcoin that’s going to give you any privacy. But they talk about Freedom Cities. Why would they like that? Well, these people love having everything on a ledger, which means that everybody can read it.
Freedom Cities in theory, could help the crypto sector, quote, to discover where it can go in terms of innovation and new applications. Oh, well, you know. Yeah, like a complete lockdown. The Freedom Cities are nothing more than 15 minute cities. That’s Donald Trump’s cynical relabeling of it. And they’re fully on board with all of this because when you look at things like the stable coins and all the rest of them, they want to talk about discovering new applications. Well, what that means is that you can use these individual crypto coins to do the kinds of new applications that we’re talking about doing with CBD set to prevent.
To watch everything that you’re buying and to prevent you from being able to buy certain things if they don’t like you. Freedom Cities aren’t really a new idea. They’re rebanding of charter cities, which have been around since the late 1800s. They’re selling you this idea. No, that is actually not true. It’s a rebranding of the 15 Minute Cities. But they go on to say that Trump’s proposal for Freedom Cities won the gung ho support of many of Silicon Valley’s tech bros. Whose backing helped to tilt him into the presidential Office, including the PayPal mafia of Musk and Thiel and Andreessen.
All these people, very enthusiastic supporters of it. And of course, when you look at Department of Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, they want a joint task force on using the underutilized federal land suitable for hous. There we go. That’s where we can build the cities. Purpose built as open air prisons and crypto and a digital ID and a cryptocurrency is going to be a vital part of that. And the Trump administration, just like they’re going to raise your taxes and tell you that they’re going to get rid of the income tax. They’re going to raise it by stacking on the tariffs and they’re not going to get rid of the income tax in the same way.
They’re going to do stealth CBDC calling it something else. On kik, Amber Forson Gold gifted four sub subscriptions on kik. Thank you very much. And on Rumble, Stealth Patriot. Thank you for the tip. I just heard matching funds because I’m listening to yesterday’s podcast. Well, that’s good. I’m glad that we, we had it on there. And thank you so much to all of you. Thank you for your kind support to us and especially to I’m Marty, who has given us another quarterly. He did it four times last year. He’s done it again, matching the contributions, all the different channels.
Thank you so much to Marty and to all of you. Have a good day. We’ll see you tomorrow for my 70th birthday and the 2000th show the common Man. They created Common Core to dumb down our children.
