Wait a minute. Are you talking too fast for the c students? Me back up for a minute and let’s start all over. Group Moms for Liberty has established itself as a conservative powerhouse in schools around the country. Reading super chat shortly book bands and advocate against any discussion of gender sexualities, critical race theory in classrooms. The group has been embraced by Ron DeSantis, but it’s also. Okay, so this group called Moms for Liberty is basically against finessing y’all into doing things that y’all not supposed to do inside of y’all classrooms, removing books, letting all of this Alphabet community stuff go into whatever it is and influence what it is that we got going on as a culture.
And so this is what he’s describing this group to be. All right. It’s an intense amount of criticism for, among other things, the group stance on LGBTQ issues in schools. Now a co founder of Moms for Liberty is caught up in a sex scandal involving sex with another woman. CNN’s Carlos Suarez has the story. Read that shortly. Having sex with another woman and a threesome with her husband is not the issue.
We’re not going to start off the story like that. Having sex with another woman and a threesome, he said, is not the issue. Come on, y’all, follow me along. Let’s have a conversation. But when you claim the moral high ground and then you attack the moral integrity of others, the blatant hypocrisy of Mrs. Ziegler and how it reflects on the credibility of this board is a significant concern.
Rudolph Lusak is talking about this woman, Bridget Ziegler. She’s not bad looking either. Hold on. Let me see what she looking like. She not a bad looking chick. This woman, Bridget Ziegler. Know who their candidates are for school board, know where they stand and hold them accountable. She’s a co founder of the conservative group Moms for Liberty, and on Tuesday was asked to voluntarily resign from the Sarasota county school board.
If you were in support of everyone having these illicit type of relationships, then that wouldn’t matter. Zieglerm, a close ally of Florida governor Ron DeSantis, helped author Florida’s parental rights and education law. Dubbed by critics as the don’t say gay bill, it removed discussion of sexual orientation and identity from public school’s curriculum. DeSantis also appointed her to the board that manages Disney’s special taxing district. Okay, so at issue here is this.
All right, at issue here is this. This woman, married woman with a husband, is against our schools and different issues, pushing a agenda on your children. And this is going to be a hot topic. Maybe we can discuss this tomorrow. Also, is against the schools pushing an agenda and all of these different groups and stuff like that. And they couldn’t wait. They could not wait. And this is one of the things that I was telling you all about in the beginning of the show, and that once you become a public figure or once you stand on something, or once you start to have an opinion on something, the first thing that they’re going to do is they’re going to do a deep dive and they’re going to wait for something to come out against you if they couldn’t find nothing about you.
Right? And so she stands against sexual curriculums, implementing and talking about and being a part of the Florida schools system as far as teaching your kids and doing all of this stuff that you may not necessarily agree with in your. And so, you know, Disney taking a position, know all of that other type of stuff and pushing this agenda. She was a co founder of a group that was against it, that then closely aligned with Governor DeSantis’s fight against what is happening inside of your schools.
Okay. And so now what’s basically happening is she got into a little bit of an entanglement in her own personal life, and then that is now being used against her as far as asking her to resign. Now that this thing has come out as a result of it, let’s continue. The resolution recommends that Bridget Ziegler immediately take all steps necessary to voluntarily resign. Now, she’s under intense criticism for a sex scandal involving her husband, Christian Ziegler, the chair of the Florida Republican party, and a woman accusing him of rape.
According to an affidavit, the woman told police that there was a planned sexual encounter with both Christian and Bridget Ziegler. In October, Bridget cancelled, leading the other woman to also cancel. But Christian still showed up at the woman’s home. So this is what happened, according to the documents that’s filed. Now, let’s be clear. We’re laughing about it, but I don’t just by default, believe anybody that makes an accusation.
So we have to be very careful, okay? Very careful. And we’re going to come back to the issue. Me, him. So I’m going to get there. But basically what’s being accused is that some woman said that, yo, we had a threesome set up and she her canceled along with her powerful husband. They was all supposed to do the dance. She canceled. And so the woman said that. The other woman said that she canceled, but he still showed out.
He still showed up with his pants down. He said, listen, I didn’t agree to cancel. So that is what’s being alleged now. Remember, these are two powerful people. He is obviously ahead of the republican party and a chair of some sort. She is a co founder of Moms for Liberty and is a part of the board and very close to DeSantis. And so having a threesome now upends a lot of what it is that they’ve been promoting, according to the people that’s asking her to step down.
Okay. Bridget, who hasn’t been accused of criminal wrongdoing, admitted the couple had a previous three way sexual encounter with the woman, quote, over a year ago, and that it only happened one time, so it had already happened. This same woman that they had already bust down together, they was coming together again, and so it was a second time that it was going to happen. And so let’s continue.
Ziegler, you have tarnished the soul of the school board here with hypocrisy and duplicity. Ziegler sat stoically through the 3 hours of public comment at a school board meeting Tuesday night and gave no indication of stepping down from the school board as her husband is being investigated. As people may know, I serve on another public board, and this issue did not come up. And we were able to forge ahead with the business of the board.
Still, she got an earful from the community. Resign. The majority of those that showed up criticized her, though she did have some support. What an adult does in her private life is hers. It’s not for you to judge. But some in the community are pointing to Ziegler’s hypocrisy in passing judgment on others. We hear about all of those hypocrites for my entire life. It’s always do as I say, not as I do.
The fallout from the sex scandal and the criminal investigation has been swift. A moms for Liberty chapter in Pennsylvania split from the national group. And top republican officials in Florida, including Governor DeSantis, have called on Christian Ziegler to resign. I don’t know that you have any real standing with that hanging over you, in a statement, Christian Ziegler’s attorney said, quote, we are confident that no charges will be filed and Mr.
Ziegler will be completely exonerated. So ain’t no charges even filed against him? No charges is actually filed against him. But the problem with this whole thing is that some chick, just like I keep telling you, all, came in and tried to expose all of their business, which then basically led to the downfall of what it is that they got going on. And Carlos Suarez joins me now. So what’s the next step? Where does it go from here? Well, Anderson, the school board doesn’t have the authority to remove Bridget Ziegler.
Only Governor Ron DeSantis can. And so far, the governor has not called on her to step aside. As for Christian Ziegler, the executive committee of the Florida Republican Party is going to meet this weekend, and they’re going to decide whether to suspend Christian Ziegler and take a vote of no confidence. But right now, Anderson, both Zieglers remain in their leadership positions. So here’s the question. Here’s the thing that we need to ponder about as we explore all of these different issues and things like that.
The thing that we need to ponder and really take into consideration is, well, there’s a couple of things. Number one, I understand that they are calling for her resignation. But at the same time, you also have to take into consideration who the people are that are calling for resignation, probably people that did not align with whatever the organization was advocating for in the first place. It was people that was against them.
So of course they want to take you down. That’s number one. Number two at hand is once you go up high enough, which is one of the reasons why I don’t even want to get any more promotions. I don’t want to go any higher into any company that would cause for me to have visibility into the company. You then become a representation of that company, meaning that as you become a public figure and you serve the public interests, you have to be above board so that we don’t distract each other from the issues that we’re trying to raise and solve for.
That’s number two. But number three, here’s the morality argument of it is what she did wrong to where it actually diverts from the actual issues that they’re trying to advocate for and that we still should not be teaching little kids the things that they are trying to teach little kids and push into the school systems and push into Disney and your movies and all of this other type of stuff.
I understand the issue that they’re fighting for or with regard to whether or not you are fit to serve publicly and be a representation of whatever company or whatever it is that you participate in. But at the same time, does it divert from the fact that we still should not be pushing this on to children? What an adult does in their bedroom is completely separate from. And again, if you want to start tying it to what you do professionally and whether or not you got visibility and you good representation of the company, that’s a completely different conversation.
But it does not remove the fact that what you do as an adult should not necessarily be pushed onto children. So we got a play that we need to argue about. All right. .
