We’re not talking about maybe one or two or three different pairs of uniforms. Maybe somebody was moving, they were done the force, and they just threw this stuff out on the street. No, we’re talking about over a hundred different uniforms. But here’s where things get a little bit more interesting. Continue to read the article. It says according to officers at the scene because police went out there to pick up the clothing, the clothing appeared to be authentic and likely belonged to someone on the job but had been abandoned at the location.

Officers also pointed out that the amount of clothing and the variety of uniforms suggested the individual may have served for many years across multiple departments, raising questions about why the equipment was discarded in such a disrespectful manner. In my opinion and how this news story is playing out and given the fact that these uniforms did not belong to one department but many departments, it sounds like this individual may have stumbled upon clothing belonging to crisis actors. But here’s where things get even more interesting because then that begs the question, who discovered the clothing? Is this person speaking out? Well, the person to discover the clothing was the reporter of this article.

What? The article goes on to say last night a sharp-eyed Borough Park 24 reporter spotted a suspicious brown box along the tracks near 37th Street and 9th Avenue overflowing with black clothing and uniforms with what appeared to be a highway police badge visible inside. The reporter pulled over and immediately called 911 and Shamram, I think that’s how you pronounce it, who responded within minutes as officers secure the items. So you mean to tell me a news reporter late at night driving around Borough Park just happened to notice a box full of clothing and happened to identify there was also uniforms inside they’d pull over get out of their car and they investigate.

I mean we’re talking about New York, I’m sure there’s box full of clothing on almost every curb. This is such a weird news story and the article ends with police stress that anyone who finds police equipment, uniforms, or badges is required to call 911. Officers warn that failing to report such items can lead to legal trouble. The incident remains under review. This story is very, very suspicious. Again this just reeks of crisis actor costumes discovered by a news reporter nonetheless that’s what really throws me for a loop and maybe they decided against whatever they were going to do and threw the costumes away.

And on top of everything else these uniforms just happen to be discovered on New Year’s Eve when again a lot of people feel like some sort of big attack or something along those lines is going to happen. I’m not saying it will I’m just saying there’s a real heightened sense around today and tomorrow. This news story also eerily reminds me of another news story that I covered back in January where an HVAC worker she walks into an apartment and she also stumbles upon all these police uniforms these firefighter uniforms badges and so forth and explosives.

That apartment building with all these uniforms just happened to be located on 533 East 33rd Place. Can’t make it up. Guys the suspicious materials in question were apparently discovered by a contractor who was scheduled to service the units inside this apartment building. We talked to her and what she says she found were pretty clear red flags that needed to be reported to authorities. I had the master key and I went in there and I came across a lot of things and I was like that don’t seem right. Melissa Carraway works for an HVAC company that was scheduled to service units at 533 East 33rd Place in the Lake Meadows neighborhood.

She says residents get advance notice that they’ll be making the rounds and entering their units. When no one answered the door she says she let herself in. I came across some C4 some explosives a rifle a lot of a lot of fake IDs a lot of fireman stuff a lot of police force stuff and it just looked like it was fake you know. She says the discovery happened around 10 a.m. in a unit on the sixth floor. She wasn’t sure what to do at first but says she called police about a half hour later.

Video of the response shows law enforcement with ballistic shields others with rifles. The entire building was evacuated officers going door by door to tell residents they needed to leave. I was afraid because I didn’t know what was going on so um again I’ve been out here since like 11 15 11 30 and I still don’t have any information. After several hours inside CPD says its bomb unit cleared the scene as a precaution determining the objects were safe and posed no threat. Police say someone was placed into custody on the scene but no further information was provided.

You know the um that happened in New Orleans and Vegas so it kind of scared me so I just want the call and um check. Certainly understand her concern police on scene began to leave this building around 1 30 this afternoon residents trickling back into the building shortly thereafter this explosive scare again resulting in one person in custody though it’s not clear how that person is connected to what police discovered inside.
