We have no Indications of impact at this point as you and I discussed before there were satellite images from last week of Aloudeed where the US normally has a large number of of Transport planes refueling planes that those tarmac’s had been emptied of those war planes But you Aloudeed normally would have 10,000 US troops based there There had been warnings to US embassy staff to shelter in place and at other embassies across Doha We also now are learning that the airspace over UAE the United Arab Emirates Where the United States has the military has a large another large military base? That that airspace has been closed and we also understand there should could be an imminent threat to US troops and personnel at bases in Iraq that if you remember just four years ago five years ago Iran fired ballistic missiles dozens of them at US troops in the in the wake of Qasem Soleimani’s killing So a lot of intelligence warnings we brought it to you on air just a little while ago And now it seems that those explosions are being heard over the capital of cutter And and through your reporting you readied us for you know exactly who would be still there And you’re furthering that now to let us know who was able to get out and who’s expected to be there serving right now you know six missiles may not sound a lot to some people because they can do so much damage and Iran reportedly has been running low on we don’t really exactly know what they have maybe they’re not running that low But with precision six missiles are a lot.

They haven’t really been precision guided though going into Israel They’ve been hitting all those residential targets not saying that they didn’t want to kill civilians But a little bit more haphazard this seems more precision Well, I would say Harris the difference between cutter and Israel is that it’s just a few-minute flight for both short-range and medium-range Ballistic or or cruise missiles you also could be having in my guess right now Based on the way the Iranians have been behaving in terms of targeting Israel You may also have swarming drones that could overwhelm any air defense system So obviously the US military US Central Command has been preparing for this moment.

They have been setting up air defenses Aloudeed would be one of the most protected bases that the US has but they also have long known that they are Sitting ducks there and and so therefore right now We have to just see if any of those ballistic missiles or cruise missiles got through All right, Jennifer Griffin state. So as of right now Nobody knows if any of these ballistic or cruise missiles actually affected anything that was happening over a guitar The air bases. This is the latest update that I was able to find on it Look here at a post from Fox News as it says breaking explosions heard over Doha guitar Source it tells Fox News now very limited information at this time because this is a developing story We have continued to follow along with our sources of both at Fox News all of our partners there But also with the Associated Press and again really limited information at this time But the Associated Press said did say that apparently explosions boomed in guitar on Monday night According to witnesses who said they saw what appeared to be missiles in the sky over the country Now there was no immediate acknowledgement from Qatari authorities on the possible attack It came as Qatar closed its airspace and made Iranian threats to retaliate against the United States over its bombing of three Iranian nuclear sites Early on Sunday Fox News correspondent here with a post of Mike Tobin saying explosions reported over Doha guitar Where US citizens had been advised to shelter in place due to Iranian threat or retaliation We’re working to get some more expert analysis onto the program now as we follow these very limited Details at this time.

I do want to bring you to this live image that we have over in Doha now as I mentioned It was a little while ago that we also reported that the Qatar foreign ministry Said that the airspace closure in the area is a precautionary measure Also taking several of those posts that we saw over on the platform X Qatar’s foreign ministry is set in a statement on its state-run Qatar news agency a quote This is part of a series of precautionary measures taken in response to recent developments in the region All right.

Let me move over to this really quickly A round response to the US attack what a new nuclear material statement check it out Former US ambassador to NATO Kurt Volker joins me now mr. Ambassador Has this strike changed the Middle East fundamentally? I Think it has in the short term and the long term will depend upon what happens to the regime in Tehran Rodney says Iran is stupid now. The beehive is really shaken. I don’t really think they feel like they got anything to lose at this point honestly, I think that this is one of those situations where their back is against the wall and They don’t necessarily want to surrender and they don’t want to be embarrassed this is probably the end of a regime and at this point they just firing everything that they have because What impact can Iran really have unless they start to get other countries involved? That’s really what the play is here Unless we start to have other countries that say you know what we stand against you against the United States of America Which could be absolutely devastating for any country to do that Iran is on an island by itself Doesn’t matter what its alliances is.

Maybe they got some backdoor channels to continue to sell oil to China In order to try to keep themselves afloat. They can’t close anything And so it doesn’t really matter as long as they are on an island by themselves That really is just what it comes down to It doesn’t really matter it’s not impactful Um Nothing is is I know everything is gonna be breaking news and everybody is gonna start crying I Don’t want this either. I’m not a fan of this either. I Don’t believe that this is going to be a good situation.

It’s nothing that we get from it I mean, okay, so we get to the point to where at some point we say all right so we crush in a regime and it’s they should never be able to develop a nuclear missile or Anything nuclear to where they can continue to terrorize the world as a result of it anymore But ultimately, I don’t believe that this impacts our lives on a daily basis whatsoever. I Don’t I feel bad for the people over in Iran because I don’t think that they’re necessarily a reflection of the regime but Unless you get another country a significant country involved that can stand against the United States of America Which I don’t believe that anybody will They just going crazy at this point they’re doing anything that they can to show some level of strength to show some pulse and I think that they’re absolutely positively collapsing within themselves Right now they are much weaker they are going to be much less capable at launching large-scale threats in the region There’ll be their proxies have already been weakened the Houthis and Hezbollah They’re gonna be less capable of using those they will try to lash out that striking an American or Israeli interests But I think they are fundamentally weaker and I think that does change the dynamic a lot And that’s a good thing in my personal opinion and perhaps somebody says Canada and Mexico don’t even like us We are we protect Canada.

The only reason the only way that they survive in any capacity is because of us That’s why we invest so much money in our military That’s why we spend trillions of dollars in our military because the military is the thing that then gives you the the the might and the protection and The wherewithal to be able to exercise some of the options that we exercise across the world Our military is the investment that keeps our financial stock where it is with the world in addition to our our ability to capitalize Our military is our superpower.

I Don’t know if y’all understand it or not. Listen, I am NOT a fan of war But I understand the fact that we are the world because nobody can do what we do And that is the reason why no matter what you say No matter how it is that they squirm and try to have problems. We we have so much fucking leverage over everybody that Nobody is going to sit there and oppose us on a large scale. I Don’t know what y’all talking about But I think you do think that now then what evidence is there that Iran did actually move nuclear materials from the foregoer Before the strike any evidence why do you think we have so much investment? Why do you think we do so much recruiting? Why do you think we we we align ourselves with some of the companies that supply us and then we limit their ability to do business with other countries and They’re never going to do business with other countries to the extent that they do business with the United States of America Unless we give the go-ahead why because all of their bread and butter comes from the United States of America a hundred percent All of it everything flows to us we are the world That’s why everybody want to come here and why we have to limit everybody from getting here because they can’t be here They can’t they can’t have the qualities that we have without being vetted and being able to add something into it That’s why we have to have closed borders We don’t have any evidence the Iranians have claimed that it would have been logical I think they were anticipating that there could be such a strike So it would be sensible for them to take these materials and disperse them as much as they could That being said the ability to take enriched uranium Further enrich it and then weaponize it is still a very complicated process You need the facilities to do that and they are in a much more Degraded to position I guess you would say to be able to do that We don’t know exactly how much damage was done But it’s hard to believe with what we’ve seen from the satellite photos that they are in a position to really do that right now Mr.

Ambassador is it in America’s best interest to have regime change in Iran? Well, you have to look at that two ways I would say is it in our interest for the regime to change Yes, we would love to see a regime in Tehran that represents the Iranian people that produces freedom Democratic process Prosperity and security for everybody there that would be great and that would be great for America But whether we should be the agents of doing that that is a very different question and then off often involves Bringing up greater support for the regime in opposition to that American intervention Then if we let events take their own course So that’s so I’m gonna keep you guys updated as I learn more information about what is happening at the US Air Base Is over in Qatar and or Qatar a lot of people like to say Qatar but Qatar as we find out more information
