➡ Polls show that Democrats are not connecting with voters and their actions only emphasize this disconnect. Despite President Trump’s progress in his second month of office, Democrats continue to struggle. The situation seems to be worsening for them. Hey gang, it’s me, Dr. Steve, a happy Monday to each and every one of you, but I can tell you who’s not happy, and that is the Democrat Party. Last week was obviously not a very good week for the Democrats. In fact, many are arguing it was one of their worst weeks as a party in modern political history. I don’t know how many of you caught this, but there was a report by Axios and it was picked up by Politico. There was a very unhappy House Democratic leadership meeting at the end of the week last week where reportedly they had a come to Jesus moment with a dozen House lawmakers, which included the ultra politically illiterate Jasmine Crockett and several other hyper partisan Democrats.

And the report that stated that Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries absolutely, and this is the word that Axios used, absolutely berated these Democrats for their ridiculous behavior all throughout last week, especially at Trump’s joint session of Congress speech, but in their MSNBC segments and just their overall vulgar public behavior in general. It was a panic moment, for sure, and commentators have noted that you don’t generally see that. You don’t often see political leadership berating their own party members for their on-camera antics for all the nation to see. As I’m sure you know, the polls for Trump’s speech were through the roof.

I mean, CBS gave Trump a near 80% approval of the speech. CNN gave him a 70% approval. According to CNN, 8 in 10 believe that, oh, man, Al Green’s disruption was absolutely inappropriate and unbecoming of a member of Congress, and he deserved to be kicked out of the chamber. And on issue after issue after issue, a supermajority are solidly behind President Trump’s America First policies. The same CBS poll found that 77% support Trump’s plan to cut government waste and spending. 77% back his immigration and border policies. 76% approve of removing old man Green with his raging cane.

74% say the speech was very presidential. 73% support Trump’s stance on Russia and Ukraine. 68% say it made them feel hopeful and proud. 68% said he has a clear plan to tackle inflation. 68% said he described America’s crime crisis accurately. 63% said he focused on issues that they care about. And just in case you thought that that was like the MAGA faithful watching the speech, that same CBS poll found that only 51% of viewers identified as Republicans, suggesting that Trump’s message resonated far beyond his own base. So while last week was a rousing success for Trump and America First, it was at the same time a public relations disaster of epic proportions for the Democrats.

And so it’s no coincidence that everywhere you look today, there is article after article after article absolutely torching the Democrats, torching their leadership, torching their membership, torching their total breakdown in any coherent messaging. Every article out today, which I’m going to show you in a minute, all agree that the Democratic Party is actually in the process of completely unraveling. And Trump’s historic term looks like it’s in the process of totally obliterating the Democrats. The Democrats are locked in their own hell. It’s another spin on the doom loop.

He doesn’t beat around the bush, that’s for sure. Here’s how the piece starts. What’s the Democrat message? Do they even know? Is the Democrat message pure Jacobin hatred for anything pro-American and anything that could be considered pro-President Donald Trump? They’re feral creatures now, lonely, isolated, frightened, without leadership, desperate for relevance, without any cogent message, terrified at what’s to become of them, and quite mad like inmates in the Victorian lunatic asylum. And he goes on, quote, Their childish foot stomping was on display for all the world to see last week at President Trump’s congressional address.

They wore costumes, they waved their little bingo signs, they took a stand against women by refusing to support a ban against men in women’s sports, yet they wore feminist pink to gaslight their voters. They showed themselves to be what we knew about them, that they are not serious. They’re only about performance. They are the leftist clarity living on money taken from Americans. It’s a brilliant article. And of course, in that last part, he’s referring there to how Doge has just exposed how virtually every single one of these government agencies like USAID are all slush funds.

They’re all money laundering operations that siphon hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars into the coffers of left-wing special interest groups, the legacy media, and Democrat politicians. By the way, it is official. I don’t know if you caught this. This came out, I believe today, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that 83% of USAID programs have been completely and totally eliminated. USAID has been officially gutted, and what remains of its funds will be distributed under the guidance of the State Department. So the money laundering operation has come to an end. Take this article, this one from Victor Davis Hanson, one of my favorite scholars.

Hatred blinds the Democrats to their own unpopularity. It’s an excellent article expounding on how the Democrats’ unhinged public displays of lunacy, together with their doubling down on issues that only have 20% support, have placed them firmly in the absurd position of trying to defeat Trump by becoming more unpopular than he is. So if politics is largely a popularity contest, the Democrats are hell-bent on winning by losing. They’re in this doom loop where they’re only growing more unpopular with every passing week, and yet they’re frothing at the mouth. Lunacy only ends up getting worse, which of course costs them more in popularity.

So their hatred of Trump has effectively made them insidiously hateful, and that hate is translating in a historic popularity plunge. The latest Quinnipiac poll is the Democrats’ just 20% support. Trump is well over double that. So you simply cannot defeat Trump’s agenda by being more unpopular than he and that agenda are. And to make matters even worse, it looks like Act Blue, the major Democrat political action committee, Act Blue is about to get shut down because it’s so utterly corrupt. Again, DOJ has exposed Act Blue for basically being nothing more than a Democrat money laundering operation, again, with our tax dollars.

Or take this one, this article I think is excellent. This is Joshua Cohen writing for the left-wing outlet The Nation, and it’s entitled, Why Democrats Are Losing My Generation. And he’s talking of course about voters under the age of 40, the Gen Z voters, the so-called youth vote. They shifted to Trump by 20 points from 2020. In fact, we’ve been talking a lot about this of late, where all the polls are showing that Trump’s highest approval rating is coming from voters under the age of 40. It’s an extraordinary sort of inversion or paradigm shift or political realignment where older voters are actually more uncomfortable with Trump than younger voters.

Far more uncomfortable. And we’re seeing something very similar in Europe as well, where the nationalist populist candidates are getting their highest support from voters under the age of 40. It’s actually the older voters, the boomers, the post-World War II voters that are much more likely to vote with the establishment candidates. And so anyway, this guy, Josh Cohen, is arguing that when all is said and done, the Democrats destroyed themselves under Biden. This weekend at Bernie’s presidency has basically eroded whatever trust and confidence Gen Zers had with the Democrats up until that point.

And all the 24-7 legacy media propaganda in the world did not change young people’s perception of what they saw with their own eyes. They saw in Biden a symbol of the decline of the nation. They saw in Biden that they were an economy trapped in stagflation. They saw their standards of living erode right in front of their very eyes. They saw their cost of living skyrocket. They saw their job opportunities evaporate. And here comes Trump promising to make America great again and the youth vote ate it up. Why not? What did they have to lose? And right now they are the most hopeful, loyal, America-first supporters among all-age demographics.

Every poll shows that. And just think how the Democrats have done literally nothing to change that perception in these last few months. All they’ve done is further underscore just how out of touch they are with reality, let alone with voters. So all of this is to say that as President Trump draws near to completing his second month in office of this historic administration, the Democrats continue to flail and fail. Unfortunately for them, the doom loop only appears to be getting worse.
