Hey, it’s Dan. Welcome back to IAllegedly. And I’ve got a good one for you today, because this number is very bad news for the economy, and there’s a lot to cover today. So let’s get right into it. But let’s just get into, you know, if you have a job, you can buy things, you can eat, you can pay your rent, pay for your cars, pay your electrical bill, and enjoy your life.

We’re supposed to be told that employment is only at 4.2%, which I do not believe. I do not believe this number. I think it’s ridiculous. Also, the job market is completely difficult right now to find a job. I have friends, subscribers, I have all these people that are out looking for work right now. And some have to take, you know, underemployment, which means that, you know, they’re taking jobs that they’re completely overqualified for just to eat right now. Which again, guys, I’ve done that in my life, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But we are living through a time right now where you’re starting to see this happen more and more and more.

Now, here’s the thing. Couple facts and figures for you. You know, the shenanigans of 4.2%. I don’t believe it. I don’t believe our inflation. My buddy Mike reached out and talked about his manufacturing company and how he has raw goods that are just going through the roof, and they just got notification that one product went up over 40%. And I won’t say the name of the product is going to give it away who this person is. But the idea with this is that, what do you do, Dan? You know, remember, inflation is only at 2.7%.

It’s a complete lie. It’s a complete lie. But again, if you have a job, covet that job right now. Because I have a friend who has had multiple five interview positions, and this guy is a leader in his industry. And they get to, hey, the next meeting’s going to be the offer, and then the offer doesn’t come. Or, hey, we’re going to go in a different direction. My daughter, and you can sit there and say, my friend’s overqualified. My daughter, who’s in her 20s, has friends, and she’s got two friends that are scientists. They’re in their 20s and can’t get jobs at biotech labs right now to do any type of testing, anything.

Well, maybe I’m going to go back to California from Washington because these places are just dead out here, and there’s no more even work for the government right now that they’re getting rid of these people. So you can sit there and blame the immigration problem and say, that’s the problem. They’re raiding things. Well, there should be more jobs than right now, if this is happening. That’s what I’m getting told from certain people. And the idea with this is that there’s more jobs, and no one’s going to fill them. And this is going to mess everything up.

You can’t have that logic. You can’t have that your house is burning down, and the fire is not the problem. It’s ridiculous. It’s absolutely ridiculous. But I, for example, when I think about this job situation, I just have so many people that write me and tell me how bad this is, and I feel for them. And you try to do a strategy. You try to interview. But I’m telling you this right now. If you’re looking for a job, your full-time job is looking for a job. So there’s a lot of people out there that don’t have this problem.

What’s the total number of unemployed people in the world right now? In the United States, that is. 7.2 million people. I think it’s much higher than that. Think about it, guys. They don’t count people like me. I’m self-employed. So they don’t count people like me. How many unemployment claims were there last week? 2.2 million for everybody. Again, well, you got 7 million people out of work. How come they’re not all collecting unemployment? Again, the numbers are skewed. I don’t believe them. And I don’t believe the mess that we’re being told and how bad this is.

Now, one thing I wanted to point out to you guys was that the highest unemployment that we’ve seen in our lifetimes was during COVID, April of 2020, where you had two point, you know, you had unemployment hit 14.8%. Again, I think it was like 40% back then, but that’s just me. You know, companies need to make money. They need to be able to hire people. They need to be able to be profitable and they need to move forward in such a way that they can give you good benefits and make it a good place to work.

I am telling you, you give people things, they will stick around. And, you know, if you guys are part of the email list, I’m covering this on the email list, too. But everybody needs a break right now. And I don’t care how rich you are. I don’t care how well your retirement set up. Everybody could use, you know, $3,700. There’s a lot of money right now. So let me know if you think that this stuff’s real. If you think it’s, you know, ridiculous. I love this because this is fantastic. There are states right now that are holding parents responsible. And what you have is in New Jersey, they have a new law that’s going into place. Think about this. If your kid is a flake, if your kid is a loser and commits crimes, you can be held responsible for as an adult.

And you can face fines of $2,000. It gets better. It gets better. Oh, wow. I’m not going to pay that fine. Well, good. You can face 90 days in jail if your kid commits crimes or if he’s a scuffle on New Jersey. Now, New Jersey is, you know, I think of New Jersey as a crime-ridden joke. But let me know. What do you think about this? Isn’t this great? I would love to see parents held responsible for their kids and all these actions. How about Washington, D.C. with all that crime? How about Chicago? Let’s go there, too.

But again, you know, they identified 28 crimes that you could be jailed for as a parent. Isn’t this great? I mean, I won’t go through it, but it’s zero tolerance. And you can read the storybook because it’s just great. We list them all out. And again, you know, if you’re, you know, oh, my kid’s just out of control, Dan. Nothing I can do. You know, I don’t know what to tell you. I do. I do. You’re going to jail. It’s going to be great. I can’t wait for people to get arrested. Now, here’s the thing.

This zero tolerance of what we’re experiencing with law enforcement, do you think they’re going to let people off on this stuff? No, no, no, no, no, no, because the feds will go into some of these places and start to do things. So great article about power banks that exploded. There’s 30,000 power banks that were recalled. You know, those are the things you charge your cell phone with. I’ve got like four in my car right now. And these are things that, you know, we have. And these things were recalled and they had fire after fire after fire.

And nobody’s sitting there going, wait a second. I need to worry about this. No, no, no. Didn’t didn’t do anything about it. You know, one gift that somebody gave me a few years ago and I said, oh, when I move, I’ll use this thing. And I finally hooked it up. It was my Roomba. That is the coolest thing ever. OK, you just flip it on. Rosie freaks out, goes around the house, cleans the house. And it’s great. Well, they’re saying that Roomba may go out of business. The iRobot company may be in for dark times right now and that they may not be able to survive this right now.

Isn’t that wild? You think about certain products like that that you go, wow, I love my Roomba. I think my Roomba is cool and it may not make it. So who knows, man? Who knows? Playboy Club is moving out of California. Now, again, Playboy Industries, everything. You know, this company, I mean, I was like, wow, they’re still open because I, you know, my subscription ended when I was like 15. Anyways, my point is, is that they’re moving to Florida and they’re going to have a new Playboy Club and they’re going to revamp the company and try to get it going.

But again, another business loss from California. California is losing companies left and right. And they’re talking about the regulation. Imagine a magazine and imagine an online internet portal and it’s too difficult and taxes are too much for you to be in California. You need to move to another state. Is that insane? It’s nuts, guys. It just shows you the level of wow for California. So, man, oh, man, it’s going to be interesting to see if places like this, you know, who else is leaving? You know, share these stories. Now, think about this. I’m like, really? Samsung has a new think about this. They have a new folding phone and it folds and it’s got a flat screen to it. And you can use it like a computer and it’s a touch screen. It’s kind of cool. But think about this. They went from twenty three percent of the market to thirty one percent of the market in the last quarter. That’s a that’s a huge difference. That’s a huge difference. And who did they take it away from directly from Apple right now? I’m telling you, guys, these eighteen hundred dollar phones, it’s not too expensive to have this stuff.

So let me know what you think about this stuff so far. I just think that we’re in for such a such a crazy time right now. And, you know, it’s so difficult to find a job. It’s so difficult to get by. Food is so outrageous. I’m telling you, we have a manufacturing company that every product that they have has gone up. What do you do? You make your supplements where they’re, you know, one hundred and eighty dollars for a bottle and you can’t. No one’s going to buy it then. So there has to be some room for this.

But you’ve got to be truthful with how this stuff is right now and how bad it is. So let me know what you think about this. I love this story, too, because I don’t know why I keep getting video sent to me about vegan cooking. And look, these ribs taste just like meat. Guys, I’m telling you, I don’t understand the vegan way of life whenever you just want it to look and taste like meat. Go eat meat, guys. Go eat meat. You know, Beyond Meat is in a death spiral. That was another article somebody sent me.

I remember two years ago I ate that stuff for you guys. It was horrible. And remember, my dog wouldn’t eat that beef jerky. There is a very expensive Michelin star rated restaurant in New York City called 11 Madison Park. And guess what? It shifted. It used to be vegan. Not anymore. The carnivore is back. They’re going meat. They’re going to cook some meat, baby. You want to eat meat? This is the place to buy it. So no more vegan shenanigans for, you know, 11 Madison Park. Now, here is final, final story. Again, I love stuff like this.

Okay. Florida man was tasked with, hey, if you go out and catch snakes that are, you know, could harm children, could harm people, we will give you an incentive. One man went out and caught, listen to this, 87 pythons in Florida. 87 because of the storms, because of everything going on. They’ve got pythons going around. So they gave him an extra thousand dollars on his bonus. That’s the final story, you know. Oh, my God. You know, you first. You first. You go out and you catch the pythons, method actor. Anyways, you know what I mean? It’s kind of crazy.
