➡ Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup, X AI, bought the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) in a big stock deal. However, X was soon targeted in a large cyber attack, with disruptions mainly on the east and west coasts. Meanwhile, there’s been a rise in vandalism and protests against Tesla, Musk’s electric car company, with people damaging cars and expressing their dislike for Musk. Despite this, some people are still supporting Tesla and its products.

And with artificial intelligence, we are summoning the demon, you know? You know those stories where there’s the guy with the pentagram and the holy water and he’s like, yeah, you sure you can control the demon? Then we’re gone. So many years ago, Elon Musk warned us about the dangers of AI and how with AI we were summoning a demon. Well, that’s yet to be proven, but it seems that with Tesla and the Department of Government Efficiency, Elon Musk has summoned the demon of a very, very different sort and it’s the worst type of demon there possibly is.

Tonight, authorities say they arrested a man after he vandalized a Salem Tesla dealership, throwing explosives and later firing off a gun. Good evening, thanks for joining us, I’m Anthony Kostura and this is The Ten. Investigators say 41-year-old Adam Lansky torched a Tesla in January, then returned with an assault rifle to shoot up that dealership. Let’s get right to our Ariel Yaccabasi live in downtown Portland tonight. Ariel, this is certainly a very bizarre story. What can you tell us about this case? Yeah, Anthony, we went down to Salem today and we saw the boarded up windows at that Tesla dealership and authorities are now saying that they’ve linked that Salem man to both incidents where a gun was fired and then an explosive was thrown at the dealership.

And as you said, we have new images of what happened. Authorities arrested 41-year-old Adam Lansky Tuesday, saying they’ve linked him to two separate incidents at the Salem Tesla dealership. The first happened on January 20th, when authorities say someone threw Molotov cocktails at the dealership. Here you can see a suspect lighting an incendiary device in these new surveillance images. That explosion eventually causing all of this damage. Then a month later on February 19th, documents show someone shot at the building and a vehicle leaving behind even more damage. Authorities say the suspect used an AR-15 style rifle with a suppressor.

Investigators say Lansky is the suspect captured on surveillance video throwing the explosive devices in January and his car could be seen parked near the dealership during the second attack in February linking him to both incidents. Now investigations are still underway, of course, but Lansky appeared in federal court today and he’s officially charged with illegally. So in this election cycle, Elon has made himself known big time and he has drawn the ire of the worst type of people doing things like this. So yeah, he gave him that one. That was a little bit strange, but you know, he blamed it on the if you recall.

So yeah, Elon has pissed off the wrong people because they are not messing about. They’re even up in Canada spray painting purple sticky stuff with safety jackets on for safety, of course, all over the buildings. And they took this action to take a stand against the billionaire class. And that’s just what it does. Destroy public property or private property. And that somehow makes you look like the good guy. Yeah. But a county sheriff’s office says it is investigating vandalism to a row of Tesla superchargers. The charging stations are in Myers right along Highway 50.

The stations are tagged with Elon Musk’s name and swastikas. And they say a sheriff’s deputy with the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office was there at the scene this morning. It’s not clear when the equipment was defaced. Activists are setting fire to Tesla’s in the USA. Someone with a gun and fire bombs did this to a Tesla plant on Tuesday. The word resist was spray painted on the doors with an explosive found hidden inside a car. Police are investigating. So this is getting crazy. You’ve got people that are attacking other American citizens because they’re mad at the owner of a corporation.

And they’re giving the government the opportunity to bring out the old domestic terrorist label once again. But not only do we have people protesting, we have people that apparently don’t enjoy these protests whatsoever at all. And they’re taking it into their own hands. All right. Westmont Beach man’s in jail charged with aggravated assault for driving this UV into a crowd of protesters at a Tesla dealership. It happened in front of that Tesla dealership on Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach on Saturday. Investigator Terry Parker talked with witnesses and tracked down video of what happened just as it happened.

Witnesses are reporting that Andrew Dutil took his SUV, drove right up on the sidewalk in front of the Tesla dealership this after they say he’d driven by yelling at them. Let’s watch. I had to step back otherwise I would have got hit. Mark Beaumont was one of the 70 or so protesters outside of the West Palm Beach Tesla dealership when Andrew Dutil drove his SUV onto the sidewalk, scattering people out of his way before he got out of the car shouting. He stops, gets out, waves his hands and says, I lost my electronics, I can’t steer, no brakes, don’t touch the car, it might explode.

Dutil did not hit anyone with the car, but Mark’s daughter told police she was in fear for her life. And she said, he looked like he was coming right at me. Dutil went into the Tesla dealership while people called 911. When deputies arrived, he took off again, but they quickly pulled him over and took him into custody. Had he had the intent to really injure somebody, he could have easily done that. And I think that it was pretty much a stunt. Witnesses told deputies Dutil had driven by earlier shouting at the protesters before swinging his SUV onto the curb and driving forward about 25 feet before stopping.

Beaumont says his group, the Palm Beach Indivisibles, was protesting Elon Musk’s involvement in the federal government. They didn’t expect to have a car aimed at them. We’re all Americans and we’re just exercising our First Amendment rights to say we’re not happy with what’s going on. Dutil’s LinkedIn page and his Facebook say that he works as a civil engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. I called both the local office in Palm Beach Gardens and the Jacksonville headquarters to confirm that they have not gotten back to me. He remains in jail with no bones.

Terry Parker, WPBF, 25 minutes. But one guy driving into a crowd of protesters isn’t going to stop them because the antics just do not seem to stop whatsoever at all. This is just astonishing to me how far humanity has fallen. I mean, we’re talking people shooting up Tesla showrooms, blowing up cars, and leaving incendiary devices. I mean, what is this? Afghanistan? Iraq? Is this a war zone? Well, it turns out it is. This is insane. You’ve got people that are so stupid that they’re attacking private property and people’s personal property because they’re mad at a corporation.

You see what I’m saying? This doesn’t affect the corporation at all. Yeah, the stocks are dropping, but that’s that’s that can be dealt with. You know what I mean? People are focusing their ire in the wrong direction as per usual. And the protesters are using the same old stupid line. Hey, hey, ho ho. They sound like the seven dwarfs. That’s just weird to me. Weird, weird. Yeah, I had to throw her in there, give her a little screen time because Lord knows she’s not getting it at the movie theaters. But at any rate, Elon Musk has done a lot of things recently that are helping the protesters and hurting his image.

Things like lying about video games, being the best video gamer in the world. That’s just weird. Yeah, maybe one of the best players in the world. You’re actually like a world class, incredible video game player. Yeah. Paragon board and the build. You’re also an innovator there. Yeah, I played a lot of video games. You think about each star craft in a game where a lot of people are playing to rise to the top. You have to be exceptional, period, as a human being. There has to be something exceptional about you. Are you in the top 20 in the world or the top 20? Wow.

In Diablo. Yeah. Yeah. For context, to show you how hard this game is and to get into the top 10 standings on the leaderboard, I’ll play this clip from the guy that exposed Elon, not being the guy running the supposed account that is top 10 in the world. He’s trying to click. Oh, he’s trying to do the map. That’s not in the chain. He’s just clicking a map repeatedly trying to access it. He was not eligible to into that map. I just want you guys to understand this is one of the highest level hardcore characters in the game.

He would have played thousands of maps at this point. Anyone who’s level 97 is and you know, we’re talking to one of the most efficient players in the game period. There was no way you would do that. You want just like sitting there like some sort of geriatric old man, clicking this note, expecting something to happen. And then he finally kind of gives up after a while and then realizes his mistake. We then get a look at his inventory. So Elon must have stopped going into the map with full bags. Again, what a loser.

So Elon really stepped in it in this one because there are armies of grown men sitting in their basement 24 seven playing video games and they were not having this and Elon got exposed. And apparently it upset him so much that he had to literally sell X, which if memory serves, he just bought. But what do I know? There are more changes coming to X formally Twitter on March 28th, Elon Musk, who bought Twitter back in 2022 and changed the social media platform’s name to X the following year, revealed that his artificial intelligence startup X AI has acquired the brand in a lucrative all stock deal.

As he writes in a post on X, the combination values X AI at $80 billion and X at $33 billion. Since its founding two years ago, X AI has rapidly become one of the leading AI labs in the world, building models and data centers at unprecedented speed and scale. He continues, X is the digital town square where more than 600 million active users go to find the real time source of ground truth. And in the last two years has been transformed into one of the most efficient companies in the world positioning it to deliver scalable future growth.

So it appears that he actually sold X to himself. He sold X to X AI. So that’s a weird move, but it’s what rich people do to, you know, do what they do or whatever. And then oddly right after X buys X from X for X, X is attacked. Elon Musk says his social media platform X was targeted in a massive cyber attack. Waves of outages began Monday morning with the heaviest disruptions occurring along the east and west coasts. Musk claims the attackers had IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area. However, cybersecurity experts point out that this does not necessarily mean that an attack originated in Ukraine.

So apparently even the people in the Ukraine put down their weapons for a little while just to attack Elon Musk with denial of service or whatever at any rate back to the burning. And I’m not exactly sure what these people think they’re going to accomplish. All they’re going to do is get the government more power over the people, nothing more, nothing less. Armed with a pickaxe and sledgehammer in Seattle’s Soto neighborhood, these two fellas went to town on this Tesla. The car was left in shambles with shattered windows, massive punctures and tons of anti Elon Musk graffiti.

We don’t like what Elon Musk is doing. This man would only give me his first name, Greg, Greg, Greg, sorry, but says he actually owns the Model S. I bought it just to destroy it. And Greg says he coordinated the stunt with his friends because he doesn’t like Musk. A security guard on duty at the Tesla dealership in Kitsilano where a protest is planned Saturday, followed by a Tesla takedown Sunday at the East Vancouver construction site for North America’s largest Tesla service center. We’ll have a few dozen officers deployed this weekend.

The VPD stepping up its presence at Tesla protests after a spike in apparent politically motivated crimes opposing Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s cozy relationship with U.S. President Donald Trump. Hateful symbols being drawn on cars. We have eggs being thrown at, windshields of parked cars. We have cars being keyed. We have windows being smashed. 28 mischiefs under investigation since January 20th. 19 occurred at dealerships or charging stations, which had zero incidents reported last year, while nine targeted private vehicles. She bought the car before Elon went crazy. Tesla users say the vandalism is out of line.

I don’t think that’s okay, obviously, but if you have your views, it’s fine if you’re doing it, but in a peaceful manner and you’re not harming or destroying anybody else’s property. We’re dealing with one person and one person’s politics and not necessarily the idea of the company. Elon’s done a lot of stuff over the years. I think a lot of it has been good, but what he’s doing lately, I don’t agree with, but that doesn’t mean you should protest against cars. We know people are frustrated with what is going on right now in the U.S., but by no means are we going to tolerate those frustrations being translated into criminal acts.

We’re standing up for democracy. We’re not going to let them sweep it under the rug. Pat McCutcheon organized Langley’s recent Tesla takedown. Two more planned this weekend in Surrey Saturday and Langley on Sunday. The events intended as peaceful protests targeting the Tesla CEO’s wealth and not shaming owners of his vehicles. We don’t have anything against them at all. Our purpose is solely to collapse future sales of the Tesla product. If you’re thinking about an opportunity to vandalize Tesla products, we don’t want you there. Kristin Robinson, Global News. Dozens of Cybertrucks at a parking lot in Lauderdale were spray painted with a vulgar term directed at Tesla owner Elon Musk. Some vandals recorded themselves in the act. Across the USA, owners of the distinctive looking vehicles say they’re being targeted by strangers. Cybertruck owners are being flipped off in traffic. That’s probably happened about three times in the last two weeks. They also wrote a nasty message. It’s gotten so bad, Emily Morales won’t take his purple Cybertruck certain places. Mine is purple, so it grabs a lot of attention. And so I think twice about places I need to go to and make sure that I really need to go.

Dr. Kumeit Geroge got nasty calls when Cybertruck haters found out he was a doctor. I hope you kill yourself. Please do the world a favor. He told me to put a bullet in my brain. Angry protesters stormed a Tesla dealership in New York City. And look, this Tesla driver flips the bird at them. There are also lots of videos online of people reacting to Cybertrucks. This is ridiculous. I was curious what kind of reaction I would get driving a Tesla Cybertruck around New York City. So we rented one to find out and it didn’t take long.

We had one guy boo at us. Another guy cheered. One lady stuck her tongue out and then somebody just gave us a thumbs up. So the reaction was kind of I’m in love with the Cybertruck. I want to take up the fight. I’m going to keep the truck. So here’s the takeaway. People are demonstrating destroying and committing crimes that aren’t going to affect their target whatsoever at all. It’s actually going to backfire on them. You’ve got people literally buying cars just to destroy them. That makes zero sense. You just put money into the coffer of your enemy.

It’s like pissing your pants and hoping it’ll affect somebody else. It’s like drinking poison and hoping your enemy dies. At any rate, this is enough. It’s a Sunday.
