I wanted to do a quick video today to give you all an update on Where we stand now on day three of the zero dollar tax for suppressors specifically and the weight I Did a video telling you that ATF’s website crashed and burned on day one and day two.

I think today’s the fourth I don’t know. Yeah today’s the fourth But day one and day two crashed and burned and Yesterday, I was with my FFL talking about the specific subject and he was still having troubles logging on so I did see a couple people report on January 2nd that they did receive their their their approvals in 24 hours and again, I will say for everybody who hasn’t watched the video I did the other day on this and is complaining right away Why are you in a hurry to go put your name on a list? Y’all are on a list if you ever bought a gun from an FFL if you ever bought ammo on a credit card You’ve ever bought multiple guns at one time You’re on ATF’s illegal unconstitutional searchable database that go a uncovered Thanks to a FOIA request.

So you’re already on the list just depends on whether you want to partake in the NFA BS Yes, it’s all unconstitutional, but you’re already on a list. You’re already on a registration But I did get an in some information here That NSSF put out in an industry alert that kind of gives us a look behind the curtain a lot of people were waiting for January 1st for the stroke of midnight of 2026 to put in their applications So I’m gonna read this to you real quick And then I want to ask you some I have a question that I want you to help me with and it has to Do what you see behind me here So this is an industry alert put out by NSSF which is the National Shooting Sports Foundation and it says industry alert ATF eforms processing surge and system outages The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives has acknowledged to the National Shooting Sports Foundation an unprecedented surge in eforms Submissions that is impacting system performance on January 1st alone ATF processed approximately 150,000 eforms compared to a typical daily volume of around 2500 as a result of this volume ATF is experiencing intermittent IT system glitches and Delays that are affecting industry members nationwide ATF has emphasized that it is actively working to address these technical issues and is engaging directly with affected industry members To resolve problems as quickly as possible NSSF recognizes that these disruptions are frustrating for industry members and can result in operational challenges customer service issues and a loss of revenues We have communicated these concerns directly to ATF and underscore the importance of restoring system stability and reliability as soon as possible ATF has acknowledged the urgency and reiterated its commitment to resolving these issues In the meantime NSSF urges industry members to remain patient while ATF works through these growing pains We encourage retailers to document issues as they occur and to work directly with ATF when problems arise as this information helps Identify and correct system systemic challenges NSSF strongly encourages all industry members to contact their local US representative and US senators to advocate for additional funding for ATF Yeah, I disagree with that Fuck the ATF But much of the current disruption stems from outdated and under resourced IT infrastructure Congressional support for IT modernization is essential to improving system reliability and preventing similar disruptions in the future NSSF will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as more information becomes available That’s cool that NSSF put this out.

I’m glad they did. I disagree with them. We should not lobby Congress for one red cent more for ATF. The ATF needs to be abolished and disbanded and we fought If you remember about a year and a half a year ago at this time, we fought to have ATF’s budget slashed So I don’t want their budget increased at all If for any if anything he forms in the registration system needs to go away. How about we we advocate for that? But let me know what you think From a hundred from 2,500 a day to 150,000.

Yeah, it’s gonna overwhelm the system and you know I put out the first video and there were so many people who Came to the defense of ATF like you told me you don’t know anything about IT and you know, of course The system’s gonna shut down stop stop stop The system sucked as it was we knew it was gonna go down, but it was a point I was making it’s not needed So rather than us advocate for ATF and make excuses for him How about we just advocate that they go away? So that’s the information there I’m sure as time progresses there will be less and less people You know in that surge to think of it like a Black Friday sale Remember those of us who are you know, Gen Xers the original Black Friday sales where people would like surge into stores And everybody had to get in there at first and run to the sale Well that that initial surge has happened and that’s why the outages were being caused A lot of a lot of cans that check silencer shop like a lot of them are sold out in our back door back ordered right now so That’ll help rectify.

I guess the rush if you will But I did talk to my FFL today and he’s gonna start Putting some customer ones in this week and we’re gonna test The time that it comes back there. He did get his came back today 72-hour approval time And we did see like I said a couple that came back on January 2nd for a 24-hour Approval time and my guess is that silencer shop had great success and getting a lot of people in But there were some people that like 180,000 submissions Jared, you know what you’re talking about Well, and SSF said according to ATF 350,000.

So now we know the number but This is a studio that I’ve had for a year now, but it was used for another project It is now available for me to use as I wish and my question for you Those who’ve watched this this far Would do you prefer this setup?
