Sri Lanka’s President Flees The Country Just Before Expected to Resign!

“In the early hours of Wednesday morning, just before he was expected to resign amid mass protests fueled by a crippling economic crisis, embattled President Gotabaya Rajapaksa fled the country on a military jet from Colombo, bound for the nearby Maldives.” ZeroHedge reports.

Since that event, their President has now fled the country! 

Now, the President’s prime minister is now acting President. 

Ranil Wickremesinghe (the current acting President of Sri Lanka) has reportedly brought in Generals to “restore law and order”.

And now it looks like people are demanding the Maldives government not let the Sri Lanka President stay there! What a world…
