Spend It Right Away

We can have live interviews inside the studio. It’s very exciting and there’s a lot to this. And there will be a second channel, which is I allegedly live. And there will be an actual tv channel which will be on Roku, which is I allegedly live. It’s incredibly exciting and I am absolutely thrilled. And I just was too excited. I wanted to show you guys this. We’ve been working on it nonstop as we get all the lighting down and everything.

You guys have to understand that there are billions and billions of dollars worth of gift cards that are given out.

And with this, there is a tremendous amount of gift cards that are not used on a yearly basis. When you think about this, there are $21 billion worth of gift cards. Pan through the different I allegedly live logos. $21 billion in gift cards that are not being used right now. The average is under $200. And CNN did a great survey on this and a great study on this and the stories below, talking about just how so many people don’t remind people, hey, just spend that gift card because it’s not like it’s coming out of your account and you don’t know about that.

So I’m telling you guys, use those gift cards because I think of all the ones I have and I have them stacked on my desk and so many people lose them. So many people just don’t take advantage of it. And remind your people that you gave gifts to that, hey, don’t forget I gave you the gift card. And do so you guys, don’t feel bad. There’s an oceanscape for you so you can feel like Dan’s out where he’s supposed to be.

But you guys, my late girlfriend, we found like eight gift cards that weren’t used. And hey, is there anything on this? And we had to go through all that. So it’s out there, guys, take advantage of that and make sure you use it. It is crazy, all the car theft that’s going on with Kia and with Hyundai right now, and that the car thefts over the last two years have gone up 30%.

Excuse me, 1000%. And it is absolutely terrible that these cars are stolen left and right. There are kids called the paperclip kids on TikTok that steal Hyundai’s and Kias using a paperclip and showing people how they can steal a Hyundai or a Kia car. It’s ridiculous. But here’s where this is going. We’ve talked about that before in the city of Oakland. Car theft is so bad that. Think about this number, and the story is below.

One in 30 people have had their car stolen. One in 30. So that’s lunacy, guys. It’s absolutely nuts. And it’s absolutely crazy. Let’s change this theme a little bit. Oh, that’s a nice one. Okay. But absolutely insane. So I don’t know how you get around that at all. And I think it’s just going to be a real problem with society. But nobody’s getting prosecuted for this. So that’s the biggest problem that we’re seeing with all this.

And you guys have sent me a bunch of stories about corporations that have bought homes. And Jack sent me a great story out of Las Vegas where invitation homes bought 264 houses for $98 million. And you go, wow, that’s a lot of money. They stepped up and I’ve got to get myself in frame here. But the problem with it, guys, is think about this. They only paid $371,212 a house.

So basically these are houses that at the low end go for 440. So they’ve got a huge discount on these houses. Now, it took $98 million to do that, but you’re going to see more and more of this. I don’t know if you guys saw the video, but there was an Alaska Airlines 737 that was Flying, and part of the side of the plane flew off mid flight 20 minutes into the flight.

And the wild thing about this, the reason why I’m mentioning this, is it wasn’t a door. It was part of the hidden door, they said. And when you see this video, it’s all over the place online. It’s like out of a movie. It’s out of like Fight club where you see the plane just getting disintegrated around people. But they know based on the flight and where it was.

Oh, this is over Sioux City, Iowa. Please look for the door so we can see what it looks like. That is insane, guys. Absolutely insane. So have you ever had an airline catastrophe midair? I have not had anything bad other than the fact that I was on a JetBlue flight three years ago and the landing here couldn’t go down. And we had to circle and circle and circle.

And again, this was terrifying. I’m minimizing this to say the least, but I was calling family members and it was that serious because we’re going to land this plane on our bellies in San Francisco. And they’re trying to get the landing gear. Trying to get the landing gear. They finally, like out of a movie, had to do it by hand and they got the landing gear down by hand and we landed.

But hey, listen, you run the risk that the landing gear could collapse during that time. So scary. Unbelievably scary. And finally we were low flying around for 3 hours that I could call people. So it awful. Everybody wants you to go out and get an EV car and they want you to charge your car. Well, how about this? Duke energy on Thursday of last week told people not to use electricity.

What do you do? You’ve got to take grandpa to the hospital and you’re going to be told that you have to have an electric car. This is insane, guys. Now it’s getting preposterous because it’s not whackadoo, California, it’s another, you know, let me know, guys. Let me know what you think about this because I think it’s just nuts. Let’s go back to the other one. I like that know I live there.

Isn’t that, you know, I took that know again. I don’t know how you justify this and telling people to get EV cars. I just don’t. When you have to say that there’s a demand on the energy gig, that’s too much to where you can’t charge a car or you should turn off power in your house again. Guys, I lived with a cancer patient who had to have things on.

They had two power failures and she was fine. It all worked out okay. But what do you do when it’s not like that? When it’s not, hey, we can do without this for a couple of hours or use the backup power and you can talk about solar backup and solar batteries. They last 3 hours, guys, 4 hours. They don’t last four days. And then it gets into, do you get a generator? Do you get things like that? But will your generator power your car? And we’ve all seen the ridiculous videos where the guy has the Tesla.

And in the back of the know, he’s got the know, a diesel generator in the back of his Tesla, which is hilarious when you think about know. So crime is rampant, everything’s out of control in the UK. There is canadian goose fur jackets, okay? And these coats are signaling that people are wealthy and they’re getting robbed. So imagine you can’t wear your Rolex anymore, you can’t wear your Canada goose jacket.

And just the rise in crime is completely rampant out there with this. You know, let me know what you guys think about this because it’s crazy.
