Yesterday, after the markets closed, everyone was waiting for what Nvidia would do. And their numbers came up better than expected, but they really gross product. They weren’t that great as they should have been. So the S&P, it went down and also went down because Trump is now saying that on March 4th, he’s going to impose 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico and another 10% on China.

Okay. Will he do it? What do you mean? Will he do it? He said he’s going to do it. Wait a minute. He said he was going to do it the day that he took office. And then when he took office, he said, I’m going to wait till February 5th. First. He did. Suck by his word. He waited till February 1st. Put those tariffs on Canada and Mexico. 25% tariffs. Hey, cut zone. How come you took them off on February 3rd? So is he going to do this again? One of your top trends for 2024 or excuse me, 2025 wild card, wild card.

And the wild card is being dealt by Trump. There’s the Trump card and the wild card. You got it. So what else? Gold. Goes down on some 40 bucks, about $2,877 as we went on. Yeah, it’s down about 100 bucks. What did I say in my last couple of broadcasts? I say we see a correction of gold $1,200. It says flow up there. Nothing goes straight up. Nothing. So we’re seeing a correction in it. But when you look at all the data, we still remain very bullish on gold. All right. What else? The S&P closed down 1.6%.

The broad market remains in the red for the week in the month. The NASDAQ down 2.8% and this is after the Nvidia thing was supposed to boost it up. Down 2.8% and Nvidia fell down 8.5% today. Goes back to what we’re saying and there’s articles in your trends journal that you want to read. Love it, hate it, want it, don’t want it. Makes no difference with trend forecasts. We call it as it is. China’s going to lead the AI trend. They’re putting their money into it. They got 1.4 billion people. And as I said, before slimeball Bill Clinton brought China into the World Trade Organization, 10% of the 18-year-olds will go into college.

Now nearly 70%. They’re young people, AI addicted. They’re going to take over in this field. And it’s going to bring us the dot-com bust. The dot-com bust probably happened this year. The office building bust this year or next year. But it’s going to have the effect the office building bust this year as well. NASDAQ again down and the Dow was down nearly 200 points. What else? Besides tariffs, there’s CNBC. A jump in jobless claims. Yep. Then February 22nd came in at 242,000. That’s up 22,000 from the previous week. That was revised higher. Yeah, they always lie about this.

And that, of course, we’ve been reporting on softer economic reports. Consumer confidence levels going way down. Consumer sentiment’s going way down. And let’s see. The broad market index has dropped almost 3% while the Dow and NASDAQ are down 2.9% and 5.5% respectively. The Dow is down 2.9% and NASDAQ 5.5%. That’s according to February. So what else? Again, small business confidence drops again as companies plan to raise prices by an average of 3.1%. So this is serious what’s going on. Pending home sales dropped to the lowest level on record in January. And no, it wasn’t the cold weather because they did better in the Northeast.

Sales rose month to month in the Northeast and fell in the West. So it was cold up here. And sales went up. This is very serious what’s going on. Very, very serious. Canadian business growth just finished at the lowest level since 2021. That’s from better dwelling. 2021, you mean the height of the lockdowns and that scumbag little daddy’s boy. I don’t know who daddy was, but Castro or Pierre, little true dope locking the place down. They sank the draconian lockdown measures that destroy the economy that people don’t talk about anymore. And remember all of these little freaks that they used to bring up, their health ministers and all that.
