When Johnny Gosch was 12 years old and working as a paperboy for the Des Moines Register newspaper, he was kidnapped not far from his home.
It was a quiet Sunday morning, around 6A.M. on September 5, 1982, when Johnny had left his home on foot to collect his assigned stack of newspapers to deliver around his quintessential “Leave It To Beaver” neighborhood.
