Eastern today, right? So, my dumb butt, I’m thinking to myself, you know what? After we did the frame fights on Room 9 last night, I’m gonna get a little bit of work done, and then I’m gonna go ahead and get an early, you know, go to sleep, and that way I can catch my early flight, and we back on regular schedule, right? And of course, I got a game tonight that I got to go to and all of that stuff. What up, Kate Cooper? What up, everybody? So, I do it, I get my work done, then I get a phone call, and I’m like, I’m about to go into my other room, right? Because I have this room as my work room.

Literally, I got all this stuff spread out across this, and when I go into it, when I fly out, when I go to cities with my family, you know, because my daughter’s here, everybody is here, my chick is here, and all of that stuff, and when I go to visit family a lot of time, or when we go overseas or anywhere, I usually get at least three rooms. I get a room for me, us to sleep in, I get Leslie her own room, and then I get a room for me to work in.

I like create my own studio, right? Because I don’t want to be interrupted, I don’t want people to be in the background, I don’t want none of that stuff to happen. Anyways, long story short, I get a phone call, hey, let’s hit the streets. Family, family, family, family, family. So I hit the streets, knowing that I had to be up at four o’clock in the morning, knowing that I had a 6am flight, I’m like, no big deal, I sleep on a plane, already got everything taken care of, I’m gonna be on top of it.

I hit the streets, oh, the streets of Tampa, the streets of Tampa. Don’t worry about it, we’re gonna go ahead and keep that good energy in here, don’t worry about it. Anyways, so we hit the streets, I get back in at about 1am, 1.30am, and I’m like, alright, cool, so I’m gonna just take a couple hours, first I was thinking to myself, I’m gonna just stay up, I’m gonna get some stuff done, I’m gonna pack my bags, I’m gonna prepare myself, and I’m not even gonna go to sleep because it ain’t on point in sleeping for a couple hours, two and a half hours, I’m like that.

And then I’m like, well, every hour count, but I need to follow my first mind. Anyways, I wind up going to sleep, as soon as I woke up, I did, I set my alarm, and as soon as I woke up, I knew it. I already knew that I had missed my flight, I knew immediately, without even looking at the clock, and the first thing I said to myself is, god damn it, I was pissed, I was heated. And then, you know how you wake up and then you got your vision, get a little clearer, you pick up your phone, or you look at your watch, and you’re like, oh, you know, yeah, I did miss my flight.

It was like 6 45, my flight was at 6 6 6am, and it was like 6 45. So then, like two minutes later, I was thinking to myself, wait a minute, I can do what I want to do. I can literally do what I want to do. Like, I called the hotel, like I picked up the phone, they got the old school phone in here. They got this phone right here, right? They got the old school phone. I called the hotel, and I’m like, or I called down to the front desk, I’m like, yo, I need an early checkout.

They’re like, okay, do you want it to like one? Do you want it to three? And so I moved my flight. I got the next available flight that they allowed me to get, which was 2am or 2pm. And so I’ll be landing at like 430 or whatever. And so I had to move a millionaire morning show up early, which is one of the reasons why you see the flow show at 10am instead of 1230, which I’m actually kind of loving this. I’m actually kind of loving this. What do y’all think? Do y’all think that we should move the show up a little bit earlier? Maybe not 10, maybe sometime between 10 and 11.

I’m thinking that 10am may be fine. 10am may be fine for moving a show up. Y’all let me know inside of the chat. Y’all wanted to do 10am instead of 1230. I miss the early shows too. I like 10am. Nah, this throws off the morning show vibe. Everybody is saying yes. Everybody is saying yes. Your car. No, I’m not doing 730. Sabrina saying 10, you had it at all those times you started pushing them back. I’m good either way. K Cooper is saying no. It slaps in the afternoon, bring it back like it used to be.

It says its own. You had to ask this last year and they said go later and later don’t believe you. That’s your favorite slot. Everybody. All right, I’ll think about it when I’m on the plane and what you see happen tomorrow will probably be what we’re trying to rock out with. All right, so that’s that, right? But it also led me to this epiphany. I don’t think that I could ever work a regular 9 to 5 again. I mean, don’t get me wrong. I’ll do what I have to do, right? But as far as a choice, because business and I know that a lot of people think that it’s easier to do your own thing, it’s not.

It’s much harder. Working your own business and doing your own thing is way harder, way harder than it is working a 9 to 5. A 9 to 5 is for people on easy street. It’s a way for you to go to work and as much as you all complain about it, it is the easiest path to being able to sustain yourself. A 9 to 5 is the easiest path for you to be able to sustain yourself, especially after you’ve been there for a few months. You get into a routine. You may be a little bit more content than you want to.

And the reason why a lot of people can’t start businesses, the reason why a lot of people can’t start businesses is because it actually takes a lot more effort. In order for you to really thrive in a business today, and when I say thrive, I’m not just talking about survive, I’m talking about thrive. In order for you to thrive in a business today, you got to be old school. You got to be throwback. Back then, they did everything they had to do. They was up. They would travel all across the country. They would do whatever it took to be successful.

Nowadays, everybody got lazy, which makes it a lot easier for people that are not lazy and is willing to put into work. So the caveat to that is doing your own thing and making money doing your own thing is way harder, much more difficult for most people than working a 9 to 5. But the freedom to be able to do what you want to do, if you decide to do things differently, is the thing that you then trade off. For the most part, I’m pretty standard. I move stuff around as I see fit, but I don’t have to call off.

I don’t have no boss. You eat what you kill. And so we still make up for it. I still did the Millionaire Morning Show on yesterday’s show, you know what I’m saying, on Sunday. I still take care of business. You can work as much as you want to, when you can make as much as you want to. So this lifestyle is only for people that is willing to kill or be killed and don’t want any excuses, but at the same time, they don’t want any safety net. A job kind of gives you a safety net.

And the thing that actually led me to the idea that I don’t think that I could ever work a 9 to 5 by choice anymore is, first of all, most of the work from home stuff, as far as like at the level that I was at, that’s pretty much out. You got to go into the office. You got to be there. I just don’t have it. I don’t have an enemy no more. I don’t have an enemy no more. Am I ever going to go on a break? A break of what? I’m in Tampa right now.

I do what I want to do when I want to do it, but I just, I don’t, I don’t have an enemy no more, bro. I don’t think that I have the capacity to deal with the monotony, deal with the meetings, deal with all of the bullshit as far as like the politics and the hobnob and I don’t know, bro. Like it would have to be a crazy amount of money and it would have to completely work within my schedule that I already have. But I think that those days are gone.

Why would I take a week off of streaming and uploads? Why would I do that? Like why is that even, why do y’all think like that? Why do y’all always want a break? I don’t understand that. What is the, what is the point of having a break? Well, what are you supposed to do? Twiddle your thumbs, hang out in the streets, sleeping all day. What, what do you, what do you mean? Why would I want to take a break? What is a break for? What are you taking a break from? So are you supposed to? So wait a minute, you want me to take a break from doing the thing that I love the most? Why would I take a break from doing a thing that I love this shit? I love streaming.

I love making content. I love vlogging. I love making videos. I love talking shit on panels. Bro, I love this. I love adding value. I love doing Patreon live streams, which we do plan on doing on, I think on Wednesday. Yeah, I think we’re doing a Patreon live stream on one day. Why would I take a break from doing a thing that I love? That’s not a break, that’s torture. Why do y’all, why are y’all looking to take a break? Take a break from what? Why do y’all won’t break so much? What do you want to break from? You want to break from getting money? Is that what you want to break from? Y’all want to break from getting money? You know, I’ve had times in my life where my chick is like, yo, are you, you know, you want to take a vacation to some remote place that don’t have, and my first question was, well, do they have Wi-Fi? Because if they don’t have a good Wi-Fi, what are we going there for? You want me to be in some remote location where I can’t, I don’t have a good connection with my, with my iPhone.

Do they have AT&T coverage? Can I use my, can I, can I use my star link? You know what I’m saying? Hell no, I don’t want to go to no place. I ain’t got no good Wi-Fi or I can’t bring my star link too. Just to sit in the sun. I’m not built like that. I’m sorry, boo. I’m not, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m not built like that. So yeah, man. For the people that’s asking me, do they want to break? Y’all are the ones that need to work a nine to five.

Go work your nine to five. Go get there. I don’t want that life. I’m not interested. It’s not for me. I don’t want to deal with that. I don’t want to deal with that. So anyways, long story short, we got the Q show tonight. So that’s going to be popping, but I will be back in the city. So that’s going to be fun. And we got good things happening.
