And they had an immigration raid this way. Oh my god, that’s terrible, Dan. It is, it’s awful, okay? Only problem was that netted 475 Koreans that worked there. Every single one of them was undocumented. Every single one of them did not have a work permit. Every single one of them had visas that had expired, people that had snuck into the country, people that were not supposed to be here. But most importantly, they were working for a huge corporation and they weren’t supposed to be on the payroll for anybody, you understand? Now, you can sit there and say, oh, this is just terrible, this is ice, doing its dastardly deeds.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, okay? The Hyundai corporation has some very serious explaining to do because, number one, the work conditions were incredibly unsafe. The first thing that they should do when they file the federal lawsuit against Hyundai is they should bring the HR manager in for those companies and interrogate them and ask them what these people were doing in the building, okay? That’s number, they had no business being in the United States, they had no business working for a company in the United States. Oh, Dan, you’re being terrible. Okay. Kevin Sousa is a contractor who worked there.
Now, this factory, guys, I want to give you guys an idea of how big this is. The building is 2,900 acres, 2,900 acres. Look at how big this place is. The contractor, Kevin Sousa, was a whistleblower who said, listen, I can’t take this, enough is enough is enough. It’s such unsafe conditions. These people don’t speak English. These people have no business working here. It’s just not right. Something’s seriously wrong with their safety, with the work conditions, with what they’re doing at the factory. So, they did a multi-month investigation. These people that started last year, okay, here’s the best part, started in 2024.
So, they decided to go in and it nets 475 arrests. When ICE showed up, these people scattered like bugs. And they jumped into a sewage drain, some of them to swim away. They had to get boats to arrest these people and to bring them in to apprehend them. When ICE got on the boat, they tried to tip the boat over. And they had to have bus after bus after bus to haul these people away. Now, what I’m getting at is that not one was legally allowed to work there. Not one was listed as an employee for Hyundai.
But they were working and getting some type of payment and some type of check. Were they paid through some company as an independent contractor? Okay, well that’s shady enough. They’re evading taxes, they’re evading payroll taxes. I’m telling you guys, you want to talk to people, talk to anybody who had a problem not paying the payroll taxes for a business. The IRS will show up at your house. I always tell everybody, when you start a business, if you’re going to have one employee, or even if you have an LLC by yourself, you should have a payroll service to do the taxes.
You don’t want to do it. You don’t want that responsibility. Because if you do it wrong, it’s 100% on you. So anyways, the IRS will show up for that. Like I said, I have a buddy of mine who was not responsible for HR, payroll, or anything like that. He just was a high-ranking officer of the company and they showed up at his house multiple times looking for the people that were responsible for a company he worked with. So, the Hyundai Corporation, one of the world’s largest automakers, hired all these illegal people here in the United States.
And this is somehow a bad thing. Like I said, do you have a problem with this? Because I don’t. I can’t believe that they did this. But again, Hyundai hasn’t issued a statement yet. Now, depending on which news site you go to, if you go to AP, talks about it, if you go to the Gateway Pundit, it talks about it a different way. If you go to CNN, it’s like, oh, the humanity. Can you believe that these poor people were just doing their thing and they got an ICE raid? No, guys. I got a question.
How do you have 475 Koreans that know where to go work in 20 miles south of Georgia? How do they get there? Seriously. I could see 10, 20, 50. Wow, they caught 80 people doing that. No, they caught 475 people that had no business working there that all had jobs. How were they paid? The Hyundai Corporation is going to face tens of millions of dollars worth of fines for this. And you can sit there and say, oh, that’s unfair. That’s not right. That’s unjust. No, it’s not. While the rest of us have to follow the rules, these guys weren’t.
And again, hey, you know, we’ve done a huge investment here to build electric cars here. OK, great. Hire citizens. Now, where are the unions right now? Aren’t the unions, aren’t they pissed off about this? Shouldn’t they be screaming? Hey, Dan, you know, this is why you have to hire unions. Now, a South Korean company doesn’t have American unions. I get it. But you guys, what I’m getting at is what about a fair wage? What about everything on the up and up? Safety? Legitimacy? Oh, yeah. You know, Dan, come on. That doesn’t apply to a situation like this.
These people’s rights were violated. Were they? OK. OK. You have not heard the end of this, but the truth is none of these people should be there. Not one. Not one was paid in a legitimate manner through that company. Not one was listed as an employee for the Hyundai Corporation, but somehow they were working in a 2900 acre sprawling factory. You screaming BS right now? What do you think? This is so ridiculous. So ridiculous. So let me know what you think right now. What do you think? Do you think people will go to jail for this? Yes or no? They should.
They absolutely should. And again, bring the HR manager in. Interrogate that person. OK. And I mean that. Why were they in the building? Don’t you have any checks and balances? Of course not. You know, we’re supposed to check immigration. I’m telling you guys this. You run a taco stand here in California. You’re supposed to check the immigration status. Now, do certain people look different ways? Of course. OK. But again, you’ve got an automobile manufacturer. Let me know what you think about this, because I’m just I’m not appalled. I’m just shocked that this is getting twisted. And somehow it’s a bad thing.
But again, you’ve got 475 people that were never supposed to be here. That were working. That probably weren’t paid a decent wage. So let me know what you think. Now, there’s more business news that makes you realize that you can’t ignore how bad things are. QBE Insurance, which I have never heard of, wants to get out of California. And they want to eliminate 37,000 policies. And they want to cut back. They want to narrow our focus to more strategic plan and getting rid of certain areas that we think are not conducive with growth in the future.
In other words, they want to get rid of headaches, guys. OK. Remember that if you want to break up with somebody, you know, I want to focus and have a more conducive plan in my future. Anyways, it’s ridiculous, guys. Absolutely ridiculous. The job numbers came in on Friday for hiring last month. And only 22,000 jobs were added. And I like I am because I am a self-serving degenerate. When I woke up yesterday, it was wild watching this live because I was watching Fox of all places. And they were just stunned. Like, you know, it’s supposed to be a one in front of that.
You know, you could just tell that they didn’t they just didn’t know how to spin it. Well, you can’t spin it. It’s not good. Things are not going well right now. Oh, oh, OK. That’s what we’re going to say. Right. We’re going to say things aren’t good. Yeah, things are not good right now. Meat prices continue to go up. Beef prices, especially beef is a luxury. Isn’t that terrible? You know, and again, you know, oh, eat more chicken. I did the story yesterday. I made the joke about the vegan dog stuff. It gets to a point, guys, that, you know, you know, pick your protein.
I hate that when you go into restaurants now and they say that stuff. It’s just that that irritates me. Eat what you want to eat. But I am telling you, when you go to restaurants and you have, you know, twenty two dollar hamburgers at a fast food place, you’re going to see more and more of this stuff. That’s just going to get worse. The cattle problems that we talked about two years ago and a year and a half ago are coming to fruition today. When you cut the herds and when you can’t feed these people, when you have things like heat waves and the cattle dies out, it is a problem.
And it’s not a problem for that day. It’s a problem down the road. And guess what? They’re at that road now. OK, got nothing but problems with this. You know, got some good news. Mortgage rates hit an 11 month low and they’re just under six and a half percent. Go buy a house, guys. Step up. Go buy a house. You know, my neighborhood’s, you know, a little pricey. Go there. OK, you think that’s going to make a better difference that interest rates hit six and a half percent. My favorite, favorite, favorite thing you guys write me about is wait till it drops, Dan.
You’re going to be eating crow. OK, I love that one. I’m going to eat crow, guys, because they’re going to lower interest rates of four or even half a point. And it’s going to make all the difference in the world. It’s going to make no difference, guys, because you better have a job. And if you talk to a decent mortgage lender, OK, they said the same thing, that the restrictions, they’re not going to get loose in the guys. They’re going to get harder to get a loan. You’ll see. You’ll see. So a lot of problems come with that.
Oh, good old PBS. You know, they lost their government funding that they never should have had in the first place because they were a one sided joke and it was just awful in the last year. You know, you know how many things have been ruined lately? PBS, Disney, all these different things that used to be great things in my home, you know, with my kids and stuff like that. Patch can have any of that crap on now. And then they lost their funding and that’s a tragedy. No, politics is a tragedy. Don’t ever forget that.
You know, we’ve talked about that. I can have my opinion. You can have your opinion. But the opinion on this channel, on this network, it’s the small business person. It’s designed to have people make money and pay their bills and live in a frugal way. And guys, demonic. You know what I mean? Come on, guys. It’s ridiculous. But good. One hundred people are going to lose their jobs because they don’t have your tax dollars. Now you can sit there and say that that’s terrible. But do you really are you going to miss PBS? You’re going to miss public radio.
I used to listen to public radio every single day. Every day. And it got so bad and so one-sided that if I could kick the radio in my car, I would do that. Okay? So I can’t do that. But I think there’s rules against that. It is wild, guys. I get a flurry of things sent to me and I was blown away by this. There was an Idaho food truck and it got robbed. And I was like, oh, that’s terrible. What happened? Well, the thing about this is that they’re getting more brazen with these robberies, with these food trucks.
And the food truck that got robbed was Dave’s Fire and Smoke Barbecue. $8,500 worth of merchandise. But the worst part was they stole, you know, a few hundred bucks in cash because the person was stupid enough to leave cash inside the food truck. And they damaged everything to where they can’t work the food truck. Okay, so that’s just that’s terrible. This person’s livelihoods, family, everything is totally upset. Then it got it got worse. Okay, it got worse because I want you to think about this. On that same story, there were, this is a problem right now, guys.
And that there were multiple food truck robberies. Think about this. Olympia food trucks get robbed. Detroit food trucks get robbed. You see where this is going? It’s like, this is like, oh, let’s go rob the food trucks. This is happening all the time. Memphis food truck robbed. Thieves target multiple food trucks in Columbia, Missouri. You guys understand? I mean, I’m sorry. If you guys own a food truck, you need to be strapped, guys. You need to protect yourself. Deaf food truck owner gets food truck back after following theft. Isn’t that terrible? Again, Sandow smash and grab food truck robbery.
Come on, guys. So this is happening on a weekly basis that more and more food trucks. Well, let’s put it this way. Food trucks have merchandise. Food trucks have inventory. God, maybe they have beef. You know how expensive beef is? I just talked about that. Well, let’s rob that thing. But they steal the equipment. They rip the doors off the back of these things. Read these stories, those stories below. Read these stories that are attached to it. And then there’s the ultimate one here in L.A. where 30 people, 30 showed up at a taco place. And the taco truck was selling Tijuana style tacos.
And I’m like, well, that’s, you know, that’s wild. So 30 people show up. I’m going to get the taco place right for you. But tacos los poblano. Tacos los poblano. Okay, Tijuana’s taco style. That’s the small little tacos with the onions and the cilantro on it. 30 people showed up with that stuff covering their face. Beat the crap out of everybody. Stole everything out of the truck. And stole the cash. Okay, now here’s the best part. The robbers live stream some of this on TikTok. Now, I can’t show that to you because I would violate the rights to copyright.
Isn’t that funny? I mean, these people, these degenerates commit serious, serious felonies. And then they live stream it. Okay. And it made the local KTLA News, which is our local Channel 5 here, which is L.A. News. Isn’t that nuts? Now, I’m not laughing at the robbery. I’m laughing at I can’t show you the robbery because of the copyright violation. That that would partake from people committing mass felonies. But again, 30 people isn’t. So you’ve seen these videos of street takeovers with cars and with meetings and stuff like that. And I’ll never forget. I just I was at a shopping center and I walked out one day, walk in the shopping center to the whole foods, come out half an hour later.
And there are hundreds of cars in the parking lot, doing donuts and stuff like that. And I asked some kid, what is this? He goes, hey, it’s a car. I mean, I said, well, how did you guys find out about Instagram? You know, Twitter at the time was like, wow, crazy. Final, final story is Lululemon. Lululemon just did their announcement for their finances and they are losing money hand over fist. And the company is suffering. Stock is dropped, being a tough, a ton. And again, you know, women look great in those pants. But the problem with it is that there’s been so many knockoffs.
That have made it so that it’s not profitable to wear the Lululemon pants. Isn’t that terrible? So the company’s losing money. And again, I’ve had women since I did the first story about this go, oh, I love the knockoffs. They don’t last as long, but they look great. And I can buy four and five pairs for what one pairs cost me. So let me know what you think about this stuff, guys. Don’t forget, we have a private channel, I allegedly live. Join our email list.
