Hey, everybody, welcome back to the channel. I appreciate you, each and every single one of you. Thank you for your time. This is guns and gadgets, and on this channel, I bring you second amendment news every single day. Good, bad, ugly or indifferent. You want to stay in the know, hit the subscribe channel down below and a little winded, because I was just lugging all this stuff here to show you with all of the things going on in the world and the YouTube algorithm is kind of crazy, so I’m going to say things kind of in a way, you’ll know what I mean? I’ve had to rethink my loadout in my vehicles.
You’re probably thinking the same way. So I’m just going to show you a couple options. Things that I’ve do, different levels, and maybe it helps some of you out there. Before I jump into, I want to thank the sponsor of the video. It’s USCCA. Especially with some of the things going on in the world today and some of the people who have come into this country, you might want to check them out.
If you carry any of the things I’m about to show uscca. com slash GNG is where I went, where you can go. I asked the tough questions, the questions you all are thinking right now going to type information is out there. All you got to do is look. And if you want to know, you can call them and ask them. Uscca. com GNG. When you become a member, you get self defense liability insurance.
And if you carry a gun, I highly suggest you do that. And that’s what we’re going to talk about today. No news this morning. This is what I was doing in my own personal life because when I moved here to Tennessee, I removed my loadouts from my vehicles because I needed to pack them with all of our everyday things. So in hearing yesterday, the 151 people on our terror watch list have come across the southern border thus far.
And knowing that we, the american citizens, are on a watch list. Great shirt, too, by the way. Back in stock, not going to last long. Links right there because the biden administration doesn’t care about those members of groups like hamas coming into this country. We need to be prepared because what happened across the ocean and again, I’m going to be very careful in what I say and how I say it.
That can happen anywhere. To have your life change just like that, you should hopefully have some items that will help you be prepared to give you a fighting chance. Okay. So there are different levels. The first level that most of us watching either have already made that decision to do or are contemplating. If you’re somebody who is thinking about exercising your second amendment, thank you. Welcome subscribe. You’ll stay in the know here with the truth.
So what do I consider level one? You’re going to see all kinds of different things on the internet. And this isn’t like the equipment. There’s no sponsor for the equipment. I’m just going to show you some of the things I grabbed that’s going into one of my vehicles. There will be different brand names in a different vehicle too. The level one for me that I go every single day is a concealed carry pistol.
This just happens to be a Glock 23. I always carry a knife of certain types of abilities. Usually every day in my pocket I throw some type of folder. This is just a Kershaw assisted folder. I have thousands of knives. My wife hates it, but yes, it is an addiction. Just like all this other stuff. So I always have a knife, I always have my firearm on me and most people kind of stop there.
I have worked in other things regularly and I bringing it to you here because you might want it too. Eyes and ears. Every time we go to train, wear eyes and ears, right? So these I wore these just to remind myself. These are Oakley’s. But these are the Battle Wrap. But they’re Z 78 safety rated, which means they’re ballistic or at least impact rated. So it gives you a better chance.
There are a ton of options out there. Try to get something that is ballistic rated if you can. If not, just have something to protect your eyes, ears, muffs. These just happen to be electronic muffs. These are radiance. These are not expensive. You can buy these. Keep some batteries either in them. But remember these, if you put alkalines, don’t leave them for a long period of time. And remember to change your batteries.
Always carry extra batteries. So throw this in a bag. Eyes, ears, concealed carry and a knife. Most people will stop. There another thing I always carry, whether it should always be on my person. I got to do better on that, I’ll admit, because I like to wear T shirts and shorts, but that’s a tourniquet. At least be able to stop a major bleed if you happen to put a hole in you or someone else.
Because once you put a hole in somebody, you should know how to take care of it and get training if you don’t. This is a cat tourniquet. I don’t remember what generation I’ve had. It forever. Don’t buy cheap knockoffs on Amazon from China because you don’t know how they will perform and the windless can break. And then your sol. So that’s my basic. I got my P shooter.
And for those, like I said, it’s a Glock 23. This just happens to be a 40. Just what I grabbed off the nightstand. Gun, knife, eyes, ears, some type of medical. Now if you want to carry more medical than a simple tourniquet, then I recommend getting a blowout kit. This just happens to be from Refuge Medical, as you can obviously see their patch is still on it. They make great kits.
There are a lot of groups out there that make great kits. My budy Skinny Medic, his company makes great kits. There are a bunch of great stuff. Get things from places you know you can trust. Going cheap on things that your life depends on is not a great idea. If you can’t afford a full kit, start with the basics. 24, $25, whatever tourniquet costs nowadays. That’s a great way to ensure that if someone puts a hole in one of your extremities, you can stop it and you can still work with a hole in your extremities.
I’ve seen tons of that online. Another thing I’ve thrown into my kit regularly is just gloves. For many reasons, lots of reasons. Things get hot when you’re holding them. Things are rough. You want to protect your hands if you can. Nothing major there. That’s my basic stuff, going to town every day. You see me in and around, whatever, johnson City, Massachusetts, wherever I’m at. I usually have that as a basic loadout on me.
Might only be three things, like my knife, gun and a tourniquet of some sort. And the rest could be in a backpack, car, whatever. The next step up. Which is why I’m doing this video. Because I am readjusting. I’ve reevaluated things that could or possibly happen to me. My family, my loved ones, my community. And I have decided to put stuff back in my daily. So I’m going to show you a couple of those things so that maybe you can think of that yourself.
Sorry for that noise on the table here. Obviously a battle rifle of some type. This just happens to be a SIG Vertis. This is the MCX Vertice. I’ve trained with this extensively, so I’m familiar with it. I can run. It has an optic on it, a red dot. I strongly suggest you have some type of optic. But also make sure you have backup sites. These iron sights are very reputable.
They’re strong, they’re metal. These are from LWRC. This is an aim point pro battle proven, right? Going forward, I have other things on here. I always have a white light on my guns, all of them. Not in that concealed carry gun, because I’m making changes. That was for the shorts I was wearing this week. But always have a white light on there so that two thirds of the day is in dim or dark conditions.
You should be able to do things. I have in the last five years. I have gone with trying to own the night myself and I’ve gone with night vision. So this is an infrared illuminator and an IR laser. Also, I strongly suggest, as a truck goes by, sling. Carry a sling so that you can sling your rifle and not have to put it down if you have to go to work.
And on this one, just to make it a little easier to carry. It has one of these things that ATF hates and then obviously these things right and you can’t say the number of rounds that are in it. Isn’t that crazy how this platform works? But have those things and have them ready. Like my long thing there is in a mode ready to rock and roll. It’s got a full holder and all I got to do is run the bolt and I’m good to go.
Batteries for the light, batteries for the IR. Illuminator make sure they’re good batteries, replace them regularly. Carry some extras before I show you this. Well, I mentioned the night vision so there are a couple of different ways to employ night vision. I have a PBS 14 and I will say that I have to get a better mount. The arm I have is junk. It’s plastic. But it was the one when I bought this, the only one I could afford for that.
I have to make that change and I need to do it as soon as possible. But this is a PBS 14. This is a white phosphor one. So get what works for you if you are in this ballpark. These are very expensive. I know that took me a long time to save for this. So it might not be something that you have in your immediate availability. But if you do happen to step up, PBS 14 is a great place to start.
And there’s a bunch of people who are going to go into the argument of one two versus two. This is not that type of video. Go down in the comments. I’m sure people will talk about that. Now how do I employ my night vision? There are a multitude of different ways. They have skull crushers which are mounts that strap, you just throw it on your head and they’re velcro very uncomfortable if you have to wear them for a long period of time.
Or you can just get a helmet. There are a couple of different helmets, styles, companies, whatever. Get your whatever makes you happy. Make sure you have a solid mount. This is a metal mount. This is a bump helmet. There are bump helmets which are not ballistic rated. And then there are ballistic helmets which obviously are ballistic rated. I happen to have what people might not know what this is.
This is a counterweight so that when you wear your nods on for a long period of time it can sling forward. It’ll be pain in your neck. Literally. You can get a good bag so that you can do this. Put your nods inside your helmet. Put your helmet inside your bag. And this one like I said, it doesn’t matter what company that has a pocket. You can throw batteries, whatever you need for whatever you have set up.
Okay? So that is something I do is helmet with nods. Obviously I have the equipment on the long thing to employ that armor. This is something that you’re going to see a run on the market now if you’re not seeing it already. And that’s because of the things that are going on overseas. I have a couple of different kits because I wore these forever as part of my career.
Do what works for you, whether it’s a level three or level four armor, I would suggest get level four and then you can go to things that are a little lighter from there. But again, your dollars will depend on what you do. Just have something, if you decide to go this way, that you can throw on in a jiffy. And then obviously a bag, I forgot to mention a bag.
Get a bag that will fit all your goodies in it, whether it’s one bag or two. But this is just a slick carrier. And I have my three holders for things that go in the long thing, if you know what I mean, and train with your stuff. If you’ve trained for a long period of time, you know what I mean? And what I’m getting at, don’t just go buy stuff because it’s cool looking.
And then, God forbid, something happens, you could become a liability. And then another thing I carry because I’ve trained long and long periods of time with it is a battle belt. Call it what you want. Duty belt, battle belt. This one I don’t have to loop through any of my belt. It’s sized to me. Again, this is wilder tactical. So I’ve been using forever in a cobra buckle because it’s not going to come undone.
But on this belt, I have two pistol mags. One more thing. One more thing for my long thing. Freaking YouTube. I have a dump pouch. And over here I have a brand new kit that I just filled in. And I wanted to show you this before I opened everything. But here I have another tourniquet on me. And in this pouch, I just put this in because it’s a brand newbie don’t leave it like this.
See it’s in the plastic. When you buy them, they come in a plastic. Don’t leave them in there. Some people do. But when time is of the essence, you need to know what’s in the kit, where it is, and you need to get to it quick. Some people will tell you other things. Your mileage may vary you. Other things I carry on. Mine is a flashlight. Use whatever one you think is good for you.
And then I have in addition to my leg, I have a drop holster. It’s not a full drop because those suck, but just enough to give me a little comfort when I’m wearing my armor so my gun doesn’t dig in. But a good holster a good thing. I don’t know if I can yeah, it’s not a live video. It’s a good thing. This is a Zev Oz nine.
I have trained extensively with this gun on it as a Trijicon. SRO. Love that optic. But also make sure you address your battery issue. Okay, guys, there are a ton of different ways that you can prepare for things. But like I said in the beginning, there are at least 151 people who are on our terror watch list. And people have already said across the country, across the globe, free for forever.
That enemies of what’s going on in that thing, the place. Across the country, across the globe, enemies of them are enemies of us, and allies of them are enemies to the groups that are doing the offensive. So, again, I had to be really guarded with what I said. But I’ve decided today to readdress things because if those people are in the country and the administration doesn’t care, but they want to put us on a watch list for imploring our Americans to take up arms, to be prepared to defend themselves with their right, their right, then there’s a problem, right? So I’ve already taken major steps in my life to make sure that my family will have a fighting chance.
And if you’re doing the same, hopefully this video will guide you. Now, this is just a quick synopsis. I didn’t plan this out. Had I planned it out, maybe I would have a couple more things here to show you. But I just grabbed this stuff. I’m running to my truck with this stuff, and then I’m going to do my other vehicles and stuff like that. I have a motorcycle.
I’ll have a kit for that, too. And you’ll have people who are going to say, jared, you shouldn’t carry that brand of whatever because this or I believe this or that, that’s fine. Guys and gals, do what’s best for you. If you want to carry something, just make sure it’s something that is proven right. SIG rifle, it’s proven. The Vertice is proven. The aim point pro that I use, it’s proven.
My light on this one is my Surefire scout. It’s proven. And there are other things that I can do better with as far as equipment, and I am doing that right now. Let me know what you think. Sorry. This isn’t the typical type of video, but hopefully this is a video that does more for you than any other video I’ve made. I hope so. Guys and gals, until we see each other again, be safe, stay vigilant and carry a gun to keep you, your friends, your family, your community safe.
That’s what our rights are. Four, I don’t care who’s in the White House who doesn’t like it. It’s not their option. Take care. .
