Summary

➡ Arcadia Economics talks about how Fortuna Silver, a mining company, has reported promising results from their drilling activities at the Sequedal Mine in Cote d’Ivoire. The Kingfisher Prospect, in particular, has shown significant growth with a high concentration of minerals found over a large area. They also found good results at Batiore and Ancien. The company plans to continue drilling in the second half of 2024 with the aim of expanding the mineral-rich areas and hopefully starting production by 2025.

Well, hello there, my friends. Chris Marcus here with you for Arcadia Economics. And today we have some news from Fortuna Silver as they got some great drill results at their Sequedal Mine in Cote d’Ivoire, particularly at the Kingfisher Prospect, but also at Batiore in Ancien. And we will take a look through all of those here. Just wanted to give you a recap. And we’ll start with some comments from Paul Weeden, who is the Senior Vice President of Exploration at Fortuna. And talking about the Kingfisher Prospect, which they first announced in 2024, has shown impressive growth with continuous drill-defined mineralization nadelineated along more than one kilometer of strike with the highlights including 23.7 grams per tonne over an estimated true width of 17.9 meters, and the mineralization remains open along strike and at depth.

And additionally, they did some infill and extension drilling at Batiore, where the results included 15.6 grams per tonne gold over a true width of 11.9 meters. And he also mentions that the results from drilling at Ancien returned high-grade intersections, and we will cover that in just a moment. But first, let’s take a look at the Kingfisher results where you see that 23.7 grams per tonne over an estimated true width of 17.9 meters from 113 meters. Also, the other holes, the 6 grams per tonne over 11.9 meters from 23, 6.4 over 19.6 from 119 meters and 2.3 grams per tonne over 28.1 meters from 156 meters.

And as we dig back in here, they have completed a 5,423 meter 40-hole program at Kingfisher that defined continuous mineralization that joins the central and northern loads. And the drilling there is ongoing as they’re testing the depth potential along that zone. And they are also doing infill drilling between the southern and central loads. And Kingfisher remains open at depth for most of the strike with the Beavis drilling only going 200 meters below surface so far. And the drilling has further refined their understanding of the mineralization, and they’re set to continue throughout the second half of 2024 with the goal of expanding the strike and depth potential in order to support a maiden resource hopefully as early as 2025.

Here is the map, and you can see Kingfisher is down here, and that’s in relation to the processing plant here in Antenna, which was first to go into production. And we’ll also be taking a look at Badior, which is up to the north, and Ancien down to the south where they also had some drill results. And again, that’s pretty exciting that they may have a maiden resource as early as 2025. So obviously, keep you posted on that. And at Badior, they completed a 2700 meter 30 hole program to infill and test depth extensions to the previous high grade sections.

And they were successful in defining and extending the high grade core with several intervals, returning multiple counts of visible gold and grades of 38.3 grams per ton gold over a true width of 3.5 meters from 27 meters, and also 15.7 grams per ton over a true width of 10.5 meters from 132 meters, even 73.5 grams per ton over 2.1 meters. And here you can see the long section of the Badior results, and also the link to the press release so you can zoom in on any of these pictures in the description field below.

So encouraging results at Badior, and there also were results from Ancien where they completed an 11 hole 3255 meter program to further refine the controls on the high grade mineralized shoots at depth. And here we see the results for Ancien 12.3 grams per ton over 9.1 meters from 297 meters, 53.6 grams per ton over a true width of 1.4 meters from 297 meters, 27.4 grams per ton over a true width of 5.6 meters from 335 meters, and the 209 grams per ton over 0.7 meters from 335 meters, and two more holes 39 grams per ton over a width of 2.8 meters from 254 and 49.2 grams per ton over a true width of 2.1 meters and 4.3 grams per ton over a true width of 7 meters.

So some great news from Fortuna whose stock is now up to percent on the day with the ticker FSM and just wanted to pass that along and again congratulations to Fortuna and hope you’re doing well watching out there today thanks for tuning in and we will see you again tomorrow
