The Biden administration, they rolled out a new national strategy for countering domestic terrorism and they were selling it as a necessary move to protect Americans from violent extremists. But here’s the dirty secret. The definitions that they used are so vague and broad that it easily ropes in millions of ordinary Americans like you and I, especially gun owners, conservatives, and anyone who disagreed with their political agenda.

Now, this plan wasn’t designed to stop hardened terrorists. It was an engineered plan to monitor, silence, and criminalize patriotic Americans like you and me. Now, Biden’s plan talks about fighting extremism. Sounds good, though. It really wasn’t. There was no clear definition of what that actually meant. Who defined extremism? They did. And in the past, we’ve seen bureaucrats label things like attending a school board meeting, opposing gun control, or having the balls to question election results as extremist activities. Now, think about that for a second. In Biden’s America, standing up for your rights landed us all on a watch list.

Several of them. If you’re not on a watch list, you weren’t doing your job. Even worse, this strategy gave massive new powers to federal agents like the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Homeland Security. Now, they were encouraged to work with tech companies to monitor online speech, which means our Facebook posts, our YouTube videos, our emails, all could be flagged if you say the wrong thing. Now, we kind of knew this was happening, but now we have the proof. Now, this was surveillance on a scale that we’ve never seen before in American history, and it was aimed inward at law-abiding Americans, not at some fascists in the world.

And let’s be real about this. If you’re a gun owner, a constitutionalist, a vocal supporter of the Second Amendment, congratulations. You’re already a target under this stupid plan. Now, here is what was released. I want you to see this. Now, it was called the Strategic Implementation Plan for Countering Domestic Terrorism. And in the beginning, it shows that the Strategic Implementation Plan provided direction and guidance for implementation of the National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism. But if you go to page 14, that’s where it took shots at us. We’ll go here to pillar four, confront long-term contributors to domestic terrorism.

The intended impact of 4.1.1. Lethal means for perpetrating acts of domestic terrorism are reduced. Greater care is provided earlier to potential dangerous individuals. Norms of nonviolent political expression and rejection of racism and bigotry are strengthened. Americans have increasing faith in democracy and government, increased intervention and care for those who pose a danger to themselves or others. That’s a red flag law, strengthening civics education that promotes domestic resiliency and increased civic engagement to foster social cohesion. You look at 4.1.1a, rein in the proliferation of ghost guns, encourage state adoption of extreme risk protection orders, that’s red flags, and drive other executive and legislative action, including banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.

4.1.1b, implementation of the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act, and 4.1.1c, launch a national public education campaign to improve lethal means safety by expanding access to and use of safe storage of firearms and determine reimbursement opportunities to incentivize use of lethal means counseling in clinical settings, and you can see the rest here. So, in black and white, the Biden administration was looking to ban the Second Amendment, shred it limb by limb, and force people to do things they didn’t want to, nor are they required to. Now, this isn’t speculation. Groups like gun owners of America and even some members of Congress have warned that Biden’s domestic terrorism agenda would be weaponized to go after political opponents and gun right groups are high on their list.

It’s an eye-opening document if you read it, and it’s not about keeping you safe. It’s about controlling you as much as they possibly can. And I’m glad, I’m very glad, that Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, declassified and released this document. It verified many of our concerns, and it was full of things that we knew was really happening, but we were told we were crazy. We were the nuts ones, but there’s the proof right there in black and white.
