Fannie Willis’s operation has been ordered to pay Judicial Watch nearly $22,000 in attorney’s fees and cost by Friday, January 17, 2025. The order from the Superior Court in Fulton County comes after Willis was found in default in a Judicial Watch Open Records lawsuit for communications Willis had with Special Counsel Jack Smith and the House January 6th Committee. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton had this to say about the payment Willis must make. This order lays out corruption by Fannie Willis, secrets and lies to hide records about her collusion with the Pelosi January 6th Committee, records which she continues to hide to this day.
Willis, who spearheaded the Georgia election interference criminal case against President Donald Trump, finally admitted in December of 2024 that she did have records showing communications with the January 6th Committee but refused to release all but one document. Willis’s failure to respond to Judicial Watch’s Open Records lawsuit triggered the court to find her in default. Judicial Watch also filed a motion asking the court to appoint a Special Master to oversee Fannie Willis’s search for records. Willis has until Thursday, January 16, 2025 to respond to Judicial Watch’s request for a Special Master. [tr:trw].
