A class-action lawsuit has been filed against senior members of the Canadian military by over 300 current or former members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). 

 

 

 

 

These individuals claim to have experienced harm as a result of COVID-19 vaccine mandates and are seeking compensation of around $500 million in damages.

 

“Coercive actions were allegedly taken by commanding officers to force compliance…” 

 

The lawsuit alleges that the CAF have abused their authority in various ways. 

 

They are accused of disregarding legislative boundaries, which has resulted in the physical and/or psychological mistreatment of unvaccinated members under the command of CAF-commissioned officers. 

 

The lawsuit also claims that the CAF has disregarded established laws pertaining to the right to privacy, the right to make personal medical choices, and informed consent, including the protection of religious and spiritual beliefs.

 

It also alleges the CAF deliberately neglected to ensure that officers were fully and accurately informed about the legal and policy aspects concerning vaccine mandates and that the CAF intentionally misused the grievance system to indefinitely postpone or obstruct the relief sought by the affected members.
