Welcome to Guns and Gadgets, everybody. Your go-to source for patriotic news and updates on our Second Amendment rights. Today, we’re going to be diving into a groundbreaking new bill that’s shaking up the fight to protect gun owners and the firearms industry across the United States. Now, Senator Steve Daines, out of Montana, is leading the charge with the introduction of the Firearm Industry Non-Discrimination Act or the FIND Act. They love their acronyms. This legislation is a direct response to what Daines calls an unconstitutional, overreaching, gun-grabbing agenda from both woke corporations and Democrat leaders.
I kind of agree with his assessment there. I’d like to take a quick moment to thank the sponsor and its blackout coffee for fueling our mission to bring the news that matters. Right now, don’t miss blackout’s inauguration sale. When you buy one bag of coffee, you’ll get a second bag at 47% off using code COFFEE47. Head over to blackoutcoffee.com slash G&G to grab this deal and support a company that shares our values. Alright, here’s the deal. Certain major corporations have been discriminating against the firearms industry. Companies like Bank of America, Wales, Fargo, J.P. Morgan Chase, Citibank, and more have all denied services to firearms manufacturers, ammunition sellers, and even trade associations.
They’ve also targeted other industries like fossil fuel producers and government contractors for ICE. But the issue isn’t just about corporate bias. It’s about the same corporations benefiting from taxpayer-funded federal contracts while actively working against our constitutional rights. Well, in America. Now, the FIND Act would prohibit the federal government from awarding contracts or subcontracts to corporations that discriminate against the firearms industry. This means companies that refuse to do business with firearm manufacturers, sellers, or associations would no longer be allowed to profit off taxpayer dollars. Funny how that would work. Senator Daines is making it clear, the federal government has no business partnering with companies that undermine the Second Amendment.
Let me know what you guys think about that one. He said, quote, doing business with anti-Second Amendment corporations erodes Americans’ trust and infringes on law-abiding citizens’ constitutional rights. It must stop. I think he’s absolutely right. Now, Daines isn’t alone in the fight. The FIND Act is backed by a powerhouse team of Republican senators, and co-sponsors include Cindy Hyde Smith, Roger Wicker, Rick Scott, Tom Cotton, and many more. Even Montana’s own newly appointed Tim Sheehy, who is the new senator, he’s standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Daines on this, and that’s good to see, especially for a brand new senator.
Now, these lawmakers are sending a strong message. If a corporation wants to discriminate against the firearm industry, they’re forfeiting the right to do business with the federal government, at least with our tax dollars, and that needs to happen across everything. This isn’t the first time the FIND Act has been introduced. Many of you who’ve been around for a while will remember that Senator Daines brought it up in Congress in the 117th and the 118th sessions, and while it didn’t cross the finish line then, the fight still continues. Now, this legislation, guys, is about protecting not just the firearm industry, but the cultural and constitutional foundations of America.
We’ve been under the gun for quite a long time here in the gun world, and you probably agree with that. So, what can you do to support this effort? How can you take action? Number one, contact your senators and urge them to support the FIND Act. It’s 202-224-3121.
