➡ Isaiah Gonzalez, a 20-year-old employee at Flips Patio Grill, was murdered in a targeted attack after his shift. The police received a tip that Gonzalez had previously robbed the Gabbana brothers and forced them to undress at gunpoint, and a video on Gonzalez’s phone confirmed this. The brothers were later arrested in connection to the murder, but initially, there wasn’t enough evidence to link them to the crime. Behind the old Aquatic Park concession stand on Van Ness Avenue, a group of three or four attacked the man with one of them pulling away his shoulder bag. You can also hear bystanders yelling stop and no. The victim then realizes his bag has been taken. The bag is thrown into the street and the group begins getting on their bikes to ride away. As the man who was attacked tries to retrieve his bag, he appears to collapse. Police say it all happened just before 3 p.m. Saturday. Investigators say the attack all started after that man told the young bicyclists to slow down.

Today neighbors in the area say they’re rattled. Who uses these kids basically? That’s what I think. You know and don’t they have any feelings for humanity? Frances who lives on Embarcadero but walks through here regularly tells me she’s stunned and that she had always felt safe when coming through the area before. There’s not very much crime in this ride in the vicinity. This is San Francisco. Unfortunately they were here. She did say bikes speeding through this area is a daily issue. Michael Blackburn lives nearby. He agrees. I run here almost every day and you know the science says please walk bikes and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody walk their bikes.

Bicyclists are supposed to walk their bikes on this sidewalk down to the beachfront of the Maritime National Historic Park. But that’s not often what happens. They also tend to race by at high speeds on Van S as they head to or come back from the hill leading to Fort Mason. Right now San Francisco police have not released any information about how many bicyclists were involved or even how old they are. They also haven’t made any arrests. The man who was attacked laid in the street for some time as onlookers tried to help were told the man suffered only minor injuries.

Police did confirm that several people came to his defense pretty quickly. That’s likely one of the reasons why the young bicyclists decided to leave the scene. Listen let me tell you something these young kids don’t care nothing about y’all. These young kids don’t care nothing about y’all at all not even a little bit. They don’t care nothing about y’all y’all think that they don’t respect y’all. Bro you better off just letting them crash out. You’re better off letting them crash out.
