Another Biden official has been fired, playing a little catch-up here over the weekend, and the ATF’s top lawyer is out, sent packing by the Trump administration as they continue to clean house. Only one month in and I’m liking it so far. What does that mean for the Second Amendment? What’s next for the ATF? And is this just the beginning of a massive shake-up in DC? Pamela Hicks is the chief counsel for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. Hicks is the person who gave the opinion, who guided, who wrote, who decided the opinion of the ATF in all of the Biden gun control.

All of it. Hicks confirmed this firing herself, posted it on social media, you can see it here, but she’s officially been removed from her position by the Attorney General and her employment at the Department of Justice was terminated. She said earlier today I was served official notice from the Attorney General of the United States that I was being removed from my position as the Chief Counsel of ATF and my employment with the Department of Justice terminated. I have had the privilege of serving in the Federal Civil Service for almost 28 years including 23 as an attorney for the Department of Justice.

Serving as the ATF Chief Counsel has been the highest honor of my career and working with the people at ATF and throughout the department has been a pleasure. I thank my colleagues for their friendship and partnership over the years. Sounds noble right but let’s not forget Hicks was the one overseeing the enforcement of every single anti-gun policy that the Biden administration pushed through the ATF since 2021 when she took over this position. She was the assistant prior to that the deputy. GOA wasted no time in pointing that fact out as well.

Now this isn’t just an isolated case. Just earlier this month the FBI’s General Counsel resigned and if that wasn’t enough President Trump just made it official that all remaining Biden era US attorneys are out. They’re going to be terminated which every president does so don’t hate on him for doing it because they they all do that. In fact on Truth Social Trump posted over the past four years the Department of Justice has been politicized like never before. Therefore I have instructed the termination of all remaining Biden era US attorneys. We must clean house immediately and restore confidence.

America’s golden age must have a fair justice system. That begins today. Folks this is a massive shake up no matter how you slice it or dice it. The Trump administration is taking a massive sledgehammer to Biden’s Department of Justice and this is just the beginning. This move signals a serious effort to restore what many conservatives believe has been a justice system hijacked by politics. So what does this mean for you the everyday gun owner? Well if you’ve been paying attention the ATF has been weaponized against law-abiding Americans over the last few years and that’s going to be coming to an end.

From pistol brace bands to reclassifying AR-15 lowers as firearms their overreach has been relentless and this woman Hicks was a major player in all of that good friggin’ riddance. Her removal it means that the Biden gun control machine lost a major key enforcer a big cog in the wheel and with the potential of a pro 2a administration now in power potentially maybe slightly we might just see a rollback of these unconstitutional policies really really soon. But that depends on you. If we want to see true reform we have to stay vocal and engaged and hold our leaders accountable.

Let’s not just cheer when the anti-gun bureaucrats get fired let’s demand the dismantling of these infringements on our rights. Remember we the people have the power in this country.
