Lawmakers Hear Testimonies on Alleged Alien Bodies, Sparking Debates on Extraterrestrial Life

MEXICO CITY —

In an extraordinarily weird session at Mexico’s Congress, the hallowed halls echoed with whispers of possible extraterrestrial visitors.

Contrary to Hollywood’s portrayal of saucer-shaped UFOs and little green invaders, the specter of possible alien life materialized as researchers from Mexico, the United States, Japan, and Brazil gathered to share their beliefs in the existence of beings from other worlds.

This event, an unprecedented spectacle within the Mexican Congress, unfolded just two months after a similar session in the U.S. Congress, where a former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer asserted that the United States might have been aware of “non-human” activities since the 1930s.

In this unique forum, lawmakers embarked on an exploration of the uncharted territory of extraterrestrial claims, sparking a captivating debate on the existence of UFOs and alien life.

This unprecedented session unfolded two months after a similar event before the U.S. Congress, where a former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer claimed his country had likely been aware of “non-human” activity since the 1930s.

The Mexican Congress gathering aimed to delve deeper into these extraordinary claims.

Jaime Maussan, a self-described ufologist, took center stage and brought two strange caskets into the congressional chambers.

As Maussan spoke, two men unveiled the caskets to reveal two bodies that bore a striking resemblance to stereotypical depictions of aliens: big heads, small bodies, and three fingers.

Maussan asserted that these peculiar bodies were discovered in Peru in 2017 and were estimated to be a staggering 1,000 years old.

Notably, one of the bodies was purportedly pregnant.

“These are not mummies,” he emphasized.

“These are complete bodies that have not been manipulated.”

Maussan, speaking under oath, boldly claimed that the bodies were nonhuman, adding fuel to the debate surrounding extraterrestrial existence.

“We are not alone,” Maussan proudly declared, echoing the sentiments of many believers in extraterrestrial life.

However, Maussan’s out-of-this-world assertions did not go uncontested.

Skepticism prevailed, with scientists dismissing similar claims as either ancient Peruvian sacrificial remains or manipulated mummies.

During the hearing, José de Jesús Zalce Benítez, a forensic expert and military doctor, presented scans of the alleged alien bodies.

He contended that these beings had large brains and eyes, attributing their lack of teeth to a “liquid-only diet”.

The hearing also featured remarks by Ryan Graves, executive director of the Americans for Safe Aerospace organization.

Graves, a former Navy fighter pilot, was one of three U.S. veterans who testified before a U.S. congressional subcommittee investigating the existence of UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) in July.

However, the day after the hearing, Graves distanced himself from the event, posting this statement on X (formerly Twitter):

“Unfortunately, yesterday’s demonstration was a huge step backwards for this issue.

My testimony centered on sharing my experience and the UAP reports I hear from commercial and military aircrew through ASA’s witness program.

I will continue to raise awareness of UAP as an urgent matter of aerospace safety, national security, and science, but I am deeply disappointed by this unsubstantiated stunt.”

Graves had originally accepted the Mexican Congress’ invitation with the hope of furthering discussions about unidentified anomalous phenomena.

Nevertheless, he felt that the event had taken a gigantic backward step in addressing the issue seriously.

The bizarre saga of the allegedly desiccated alien bodies dates back to 2017 when they were discovered deep underground in the sandy Peruvian coastal desert of Nazca.

This region is renowned for its enigmatic geoglyphs known as the Nazca Lines, which are visible only from an aerial perspective.

While most attribute these formations to ancient indigenous communities, they have captured the imaginations of many.

Notably, Maussan made similar claims in Peru in 2017, but a report from the country’s prosecutor’s office concluded that the bodies were “recently manufactured dolls” covered with a mixture of paper and synthetic glue to simulate skin.

The report dispelled any notions of ancestral aliens, casting doubt on the authenticity of the specimens.

However, it remains unclear if the bodies presented to the Mexican Congress were the same as those unveiled in Peru.

Skepticism persisted, with Julieta Fierro, a researcher at the Institute of Astronomy at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, raising numerous concerns.

Fierro challenged the veracity of the figures, highlighting the lack of scientific basis for many claims.

She also refuted the assertion that her university endorsed the alleged discovery, stating that there is need for more advanced technology than simple x-ray scans to definitively determine the non-human nature of these calcified bodies.

As the dust settled, Congressman Sergio Gutiérrez Luna of the ruling Morena party clarified that the Mexican Congress had not taken an official position on the claims presented during the hearing.

He stressed the importance of an open dialogue, allowing members of the legislative body to form their own beliefs.

The UFO/UAP and extraterrestrial debate continues to captivate the world, with recent events in Mexico and the United States shedding new light on these intriguing mysteries.

While some remain steadfast in their belief in alien encounters, others demand concrete evidence before accepting such extraordinary claims.

In the broader context of national security and scientific curiosity, the question of whether we are alone in the universe continues to remain a profound and unanswered one.

But if they ARE out there, they certainly aren’t made of paper mache.
