Hey, it’s Dan. Welcome back to I Allegedly. I’ve got a good one for you today because we cover two things. Cuba’s in the dark, Cuba’s about to fall hard, and people are spending down their savings at a record pace. So we’re going to cover both of this this morning. First things first, guys, hit the like button, subscribe to the channel. Don’t forget to join the email list. It’s in the video description. Sign up now. Very, very simple to do so. Cuba, right now, has been under embargo from the United States since January, since we went into Venezuela and cleaned up that mess.

And one thing that’s very interesting is that Cuba cannot run without foreign oil. They were gifted 740,000 barrels of oil, and we’re going to be able to keep it. All their stockpiles are done, completely upside down. Got to get this not guy’s name right because it’s a mile long. Vincent de la olevi is the county’s minister of finance, minister of power and energy. He steps forward on state TV and said, listen, this country is completely out of fuel or out of diesel. This is a disaster right now. Now, the United States has made an offer to Cuba to resolve this, and they’ve offered everything from $250 million, and now the president of the country is saying, oh, that’s a fable.

It never happened. You have all these different humanitarian groups that have offered as much as $100 million to fix Cuba, and Cuba is in the dark right now. 20 to 22 hours a day, there is no lights. There are no energy in Havana alone. That’s the capital. That’s the biggest city. And it’s a disaster over there. Now, one thing that I’ve told you guys in the past, but I’ll tell it again, it’s kind of fascinating, is I had a boss that I worked for in the entertainment industry who was an actor. He was on General Hospital.

He was a movie producer. He was a film financier. And about 13 years ago, I worked for this guy, and it was great. And we were going to start up a film and TV production company. Me being a former screenwriter and my business ability, I was going to run the company, and he was going to be CEO. It was great. Another guy uncharged me, so I would have been the number three guy. The contract for this place was absolutely beautiful. I found it recently, and it was just stunning. I would have made easily half a million dollars a year.

It’s my cell phone allowance was $1,000, which I couldn’t spend $1,000 on a cell phone to save your life. Anyways, I digress. But this guy grew up in Cuba, and as a little boy, his father took the family to the States. And one day when he was six, a man came to his work, Louis, and Louis said, we’re going fishing. No, really, we’re going fishing in Miami and took the family out of there before the country fell. So he has been wanting to see Cuba fall for a very, very long time because communism was not good.

Just was a disaster. But the problem with these countries that don’t produce anything and communist, remember communism is great, guys. Everybody’s going to get free lunch, free everything. Ask Cuba how it feels about it now. Now, you can tell me how inhumane, what was done to the Cuban people and read the article. It’ll be the first article in the video description below, and it talks about how they were offered everything as much as $100 million. And one of the clowns that I won’t use profanity on because it’s this channel and not the other one.

One of the clowns was saying, hey, listen, this humanitarian aid, we want to know how you’re going to give it to us the $100 million. Do we get to spend it? Of course, because the problem with it is Cuba has all these leaders that have foreign bank accounts that are outside of Cuba that are not taking care of the Cuban people. It’s horrible, not taking care of their own. Kind of like Minnesota-esque, Los Angeles-esque. Don’t ever forget that. So Cuba’s a disaster. Cuba’s going to be closed. Cuba, you know, we had the head of the CIA, I guess, when Trump was in China.

He was over there trying to negotiate a deal. It’ll be interesting to see what happens there. So, again, you’re going to see more problems like this from around the country. There’s more to cover. So Cuba’s a huge problem that’s only going to get worse before it gets better. Now, there’s a great article that I got from Axios talking about how the average person is spending down their savings right now. Now, I always agree that we should have a rainy day fund, but the problem with it is that it needs to be for a rainy day.

It needs to be for things that are bad. That’s my opinion. The problem with it is people save money, and I just, you know, I’m going to dip into my savings. And then it goes one step further. They go, what’s the difference? I’ll just hit the 401k, and I’ll pay the penalty at the end of the year. Talk to a tax professional, because I’m not one, and ask them what happens if you take $10,000, $25,000 out of your 401k, and what the taxes look like doing that early. It’s bad. You know, you’re seeing all these different CEOs, the Whirlpool CEO, the Heinz Kraft 57 CEO, and the McDonald’s CEO saying that people have no money, and they’re spending less at a record pace right now.

Out of control. People have less money than they have in the last 25 years. People feel worse off. Gosh, I was so much better when I was younger. Think about people my age to sit back and look at, you know, gosh, when I was my kid’s age, I was rich. You know, that that’s a horrible way to look at things. You want to be able to be comfortable. You want to be able to take it easy. My friends that are retired have done it because they are there because they went slow and steady.

And a lot of people don’t have the time to go slow and steady. So it’s crazy seeing all these different companies step forward and just say that people are not spending like they did before. All these surveys, Gallup, who do you trust? Search those polls, because that’s where you’re starting to see that people just don’t have the money right now to fight the good fight and get through each month. People are hitting the credit cards at a record pace. People are doing this at 27, 30 percent. It is nuts right now. One thing I talked about yesterday is I was offered a discount code for a Sam’s Club membership.

That’s normally $60. If you have a Sam’s Club near you and you’ve always wanted to try it, $25 for your first year. That’s an amazing discount, guys. Take advantage of it. Use the link below and take advantage of this because the company is like, damn, we want to give you a coupon and it’s great. And so many of you have written me already and said, oh my gosh, Dan, I already signed up for that. So check it out today. If you want Sam’s Club, $25 plus you can add a second card on it for free, which is very, very cool to do for $25.

Think about it. It’s basically like two and a half years for the price of one. Very, very cool. Oh, Mr. Squirrel’s hanging out. You’re starting to see things catch up with people and it’s getting worse before it gets better. The credit cards, the extensions, you know, 42 and a half thousand foreclosures. You know, I did a simple video yesterday on my friend’s foreclosure auction. Didn’t think it would perform very well, but I got, I mean, dozens of emails from this where people had questions on the property, questions on finding listings. And, you know, foreclosure.com is a very cool site and they give seven days free trial.

So if you want to search foreclosures, I’ll leave that link for that too. And you can check out, you know, foreclosure listings and things like that. I like foreclosure.com because you can, you know, you can do states. You don’t have to sit there and go, oh, this is only California. Oh, it’s only New York City. Laura from Connecticut wrote me and was amazed at how the one property sold. It sold for a bid price of one cent over the asking what they owed in the house. So those are out there. But one thing I always tell people with these foreclosures is you have to be prepared to go there and make a deal.

Now, if you go to the bank directly, I had a friend that did this on a short sale that the people owed almost $700,000 in something that they got for $200,000 and they got pre-approved from the bank and put a chunk down, put like, I think $50,000 down and got a condo today that’s worth well over $900,000 that I’ve stayed at tons of times because I live in Canada. But, you know, I’m telling you, you’re going to see more and more of this right now. So let me know what you think so far.

There’s a little bit more to cover in this video. I am at the park by the Huntington Beach Library. They have this lake. You’ve got the geese. You’ve got the running track around it. It’s a big park and you’ve got all these different walking trails. You’ve got two different water areas here. You’ve got a restaurant. You’ve got the library, which is a really cool three-story library. When I was dead broke, I would take my kids to that and just a beautiful spot. Oakland, California saw its home prices drop 11% in one year. 11% cannot sell houses.

Oh, why is it? Because of the crime in Oakland, California. And how about this one? The guy I talked to earlier, the guy that was a Cuban, he was there with his son one day and got off the freeway in Oakland and the cops pulled him up and said, what are you doing here? He goes, well, we’re just trying to find the freeway. So you’re never going to find it going this way. Let me show you where it’s at. We don’t want you to get hurt on the way to the freeway. Think about Rob pulled over, carjacked.

Okay, that’s Oakland for you. Okay. If you guys want me to expand on the Cuban stuff with him, I can do that because it was really fascinating. And, you know, he was going to start Havana Bay Productions is what it was. And it was good. And it’s funny, I learned all about film production from finance. As an actor, he was on General Hospital during the Luke and Laura days. He played a small character, but he was, you know, a thug looking guy that got paid to do that, got paid to act. The only problem with soap operas is you get paid one time.

That’s it. You don’t get residuals. You don’t get shenanigans like that. That’s the worst part about that. So one couple of things that were interesting is that there are all these cable channels that are going out of business in Canada. There’s one documentary channel that, listen, we’re just going to offer free streaming of documentaries, which I thought, well, that’s really cool because I would watch that. You know, you see all these things about World War II and different times in history and different, you know, things about, you know, smoking situation and mining and all this stuff with all these different documentaries.

People, they’re famous music and stuff. They’re going to have a full 24 hour documentary channel, which I thought, well, that’s kind of cool. So the story is below there. What else? I was going to end the video with this, but it’s just going to see a man was in a bathroom and found a fanny pack and he returned it and it had $30,000 in it. And he said, I had to do the right thing and return it. Wow. I mean, there’s a lot of people in this world that would not have returned that guy’s that money.

So what do you think? Would you, if you found, if you found money, would you return it? I told a story on newvideos.com yesterday about how I thought my keys were stolen yesterday and it turned out that a woman just grabbed them. And through all this, you know, freakish things, we found the keys at the police station. She dropped them off there. There’s an AI robot that can change your tires in half the time. Changing tires. I have a buddy who is wanting to get robots to pull weeds in his, on his farm.

I’m telling you, if they can change a tire and they can do the tire pressure and they can balance it and they can do all the shenanigans, just a matter of time until robots are going to be the future. Found a great map of all the foreclosures and, you know, all the rates state by state. So you guys can take a look at that. And just a quick video for you today, but final, final story is I think FIFA, the people that run the world cup are a den of thieves. I think that they’re absolutely criminal.

And I think that they’re ripping people off left and right for the luxury to go to the world cup. The final tickets for the final game. Okay. The championship. $32,970 a ticket. $32,970 a ticket. Come on. Smoking crack, man. What’s wrong with you? Isn’t that nuts? So again, it’s going to be a rich man’s event. Like, subscribe, take a look at the private channel. I allegedly live. And you want to get ahold of me? It’s hello at I allegedly.com. You want to send a story over anything you want to question? Why’d you talk about this? Why didn’t you talk about that? Let me know, you know, right now, the people that I know that are doing well, it’s not that they’re rich.

It’s that they’re living a slow and steady lifestyle. I have a buddy of mine who just got retired in the last 60 days and the peace of mind, the lack of headache, the sleep that he gets, knowing that he doesn’t have to deal with those idiots at work with the pressure that he had. And he’s got enough money to get by and live his life. Perfect. Feels rich. Let us all know what you’re experiencing. You want to get ahold of me, reach out. I will see you very soon. But when will Cuba fall? Are you living on your savings? Please don’t do that.

Okay. You have to. You have to have an emergency fund for emergencies. Okay. Good luck. [tr:trw].
