Summary

➡ Dr. Bryan Ardis is hosting a series of live, unscripted discussions about health topics that are often overlooked. He is also hosting a special podcast about lupus, a disease that affects over 1.5 million people in America. He believes that lupus is caused by parasites and can be cured by eliminating these parasites. He also provides natural solutions to reduce the side effects of lupus and the drugs used to treat it, which he shares in his podcast and on his website.
➡ The Lupus Foundation of America estimates that 1.5 million Americans and 5 million people worldwide have lupus, with women being the most affected. However, a study reveals high rates of incorrect lupus diagnosis, with 46% of patients being misdiagnosed. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation throughout the body, damaging organs and tissues. Common treatments include hydroxychloroquine, corticosteroids, and immunosuppressants, but there is currently no cure for lupus.
➡ This text discusses the link between gut health and autoimmune diseases like lupus, suggesting that certain bacteria and parasites may contribute to these conditions. It emphasizes the importance of maintaining a healthy gut flora and suggests using a product called ‘biodefense’ to combat harmful bacteria and parasites. The text also highlights the potential for misdiagnosis in lupus patients, with some symptoms potentially being caused by parasites rather than the disease itself. It recommends lupus patients to get tested for parasites and to consider natural supplements for symptom management.
➡ Dr. Bryan Ardis is hosting a discussion in Dallas about parasites and cancer, which you can register for online. He encourages everyone to consume biodefense selenium N acetylcysteine and hydrate complete, which he believes can improve health and hydration. He emphasizes that dehydration is a major issue, causing 90% of hospital admissions in America, and his hydrate complete product contains essential nutrients lost through sweat. You can follow Dr. Dr. Ardis on his official social media channels and website for more health resources and updates.
➡ The drug Hydroxychloroquine, often prescribed to lupus patients, can cause serious side effects. These include agitation, depression, suicidal thoughts, infections due to lowered immunity, and severe skin reactions. It can also cause vision problems, heart issues, liver failure, and neurological problems. It’s important to monitor anyone taking this medication for these potential side effects.
➡ The text discusses the potential side effects of two drugs, hydroxychloroquine and prednisone, often prescribed for conditions like lupus and arthritis. Hydroxychloroquine can cause muscle weakness, allergic reactions, and even heart issues. Prednisone, a corticosteroid, can help with inflammation and immune system regulation, but long-term use can lead to serious problems like adrenal gland issues, bone thinning, and heart conditions. The text emphasizes the importance of understanding these side effects and discussing them with your doctor before starting these medications.
➡ Prednisone, a drug often prescribed for conditions like lupus, can cause a range of serious side effects. These include issues with the immune system, gastrointestinal tract, musculoskeletal system, nervous system, and more. It can also cause psychiatric problems, affect the blood, skin, and liver, and even lead to death. Despite these risks, it’s commonly used to manage lupus symptoms, although some people have found relief from lupus by treating underlying conditions like parasites instead of using prednisone.
➡ CellCept, a medication, can cause a range of side effects including a decrease in white blood cells, anemia, bone marrow failure, gastrointestinal issues, and various infections. It can also lead to serious conditions like lymphomas, sepsis, pneumonia, and fatal pulmonary fibrosis. Another drug, Methotrexate, used for conditions like lupus and certain cancers, can cause severe toxic reactions, including damage to the liver, kidneys, and skin, and can be fatal. Both drugs can have serious implications for pregnant women and should not be taken without consulting a doctor.
➡ Methotrexate, a medicine used for lupus, can cause serious side effects like cancer, sudden death, diabetes, skin conditions, liver damage, and more. It can also lead to problems with your blood, lungs, eyes, and reproductive system. Despite these risks, doctors often blame lupus, not the medicine, for these issues. If you have lupus, it’s important to understand these risks and consider natural solutions to manage your condition.
➡ Research shows that black cumin seed oil, also known as Nigella sativa oil, can help people with lupus. It can lower the body’s harmful immune responses, reduce inflammation, and protect the kidneys from damage. This oil can be taken alongside regular lupus medication to improve the immune system and prevent kidney damage. It’s also been found to reduce certain inflammatory markers in the blood, which can help control lupus symptoms.
➡ A 2024 research study found that taking 200 micrograms of selenium, a supplement, can help people with lupus. The study showed that people with lupus often have lower selenium levels, and taking selenium can reduce stress markers and inflammation in these patients. The study also found that selenium can improve symptoms like joint pain and red rashes. Additionally, selenium can help reduce the risk of heart disease in lupus patients by reducing the presence of harmful plaques in the arteries.
➡ Adding N acetylcysteine (NAC) to the treatment of lupus patients can significantly improve their health and reduce disease activity. NAC, a natural supplement, boosts the body’s antioxidant system, helping to reduce inflammation and damage caused by lupus. It also helps the liver produce glutathione, a powerful anti-inflammatory substance. The study suggests that NAC could potentially reduce the need for certain lupus drugs, and further research is needed to confirm this.

I will see you at Uncensored. Hi, everybody. I’m Dr. Bryan Ardis. This is the Dr. Ardis show, and this is a very special podcast over a very specific topic in health that affects over one and a half million people across America. And a lot of people who follow the Dr. Ardis show, you may be one of them, have written in, called in and requested that I do this very specific topic. Today’s podcast is everything you need to know about lupus, systemic lupus, erythematosis, or any of the other three forms of lupus they now have defined as also being lupus.

So, as many of you know, my entire life becoming a doctor, you even known who I am is actually related to. When I was 21 years old, a younger sibling in my family was diagnosed with lupus. And this literally transformed my entire life. So I literally set out on a quest for the next 12 years to learn as much as I could. Either go into med school, chiropractic school, acupuncture school, nutritionists. I’ve learned a lot over how the human body works and what are the root causes of diseases, including lupus. And so as we dive into this condition, we’re going to define what lupus is.

Here we’re going to define how many people are affected. You might be shocked that 9 out of 10 people diagnosed with lupus are actually one specific gender. And I hope you’re paying attention because this affects millions, like I said. Okay, so before I even dive into this, this very specific topic, there’s something I need to say here. Lupus doesn’t kill people. They’ll tell you there’s no cure for lupus, but there are three primary drugs they give to all lupus patients who are diagnosed with lupus. It’s called methyltrexate, methotrexate, plaquenil, which is hydroxychloroquine, and prednisone. And what ends up causing death or mortality of those stricken with lupus or diagnosed with lupus symptoms is actually a side effect of all the drugs.

My parents were told this many, many years ago when my younger sibling was diagnosed with that. So this is not unknown to the medical profession. Over time, as you swallow those pills to reduce your pain and inflammation, they will destroy your kidneys and your liver over time and you will die when those organs fail. So just know that about lupus. Also, medical professionals, including rheumatologists, are told in med school that parasites do not exist in America as they go through med school. Well, exciting times just this week, this is April of 2026. Just this week, Dr.

Bryan Ardis, Dr. Omar Amman and Carmen Aman, his son, are actually the three only authors on a currently peer reviewed published research paper which is now being published in a cancer journal. And it directly ties colorectal cancer and one in five people being diagnosed with that right now in America, which is supposedly the number one killing cancer among young adults, is solely responsible and caused by protozoa parasite infections in the intestines. And that research paper of 10 years of data was just peer reviewed and published this week. And you will see a media blitz by myself educating the audiences here throughout America that there is a direct link to cancers and misdiagnosis of cancer with parasite infestations and infections.

And we’ve been able to prove it, and now it’s published in a cancer research journal. It is no different for lupus. If you have lupus, you have parasites. If you have rosacea, you have lupus, you just haven’t been diagnosed with lupus yet. But what causes the redness on your cheeks? Worsening redness of your cheeks over time becomes a full blown butterfly rash, which then you’re going to be told as a sign or symptom of lupus. So every Dermatologist, pay attention. If you’re treating somebody for rosacea, they have parasites in their spleen, they have a parasite, they will be diagnosed with lupus.

And as you give them antibiotic creams and steroid creams of which never treats parasites, you are only prolonging the inevitable of an autoimmune diagnosis of lupus. So you might want to pay attention to this PowerPoint in this presentation. So for the millions out there with you suffering with lupus, suffering the side effects of the drugs most commonly prescribed to you for the rest of your life for a disease they say is incurable, which by the way, is a flat out lie, you can cure lupus. Parasites are the underlying cause for most lupus. Kill off the parasites in three months or less.

You don’t have lupus anymore. I’ve done it over and over with patients in my practice. All right, so let’s see if we can educate you on what the medical science says about lupus, what the medical profession says about lupus, and then what has medical research confirmed are natural solutions to reduce the side effects and symptoms of lupus? Reduce the side effects of kidney failure from prednisone. I’m going to show you the research studies. There’s some nutrients that you can get at the Dr. Ardis show at specific therapeutic ranges I recommend that prevent kidney failure from prednisone, which is one of the drugs they give you for life and one of the side effects of those drugs in lupus patients.

All right, so if you know anybody suffering with lupus, please share this podcast. There’s a lot you’re going to learn here. I think also if this affects you or someone personal to you and you want to get them this PowerPoint that has all the research studies highlighted, linked, conclusion, powerful, amazing statements in them, the claims of the nutrients in them that are so beneficial with lupus. If you want to share that with anybody you know and love, go to the Resources tab at the Dr. Ardis Show. Find the little blue window that says Natural Solutions for Lupus.

Click it, download it, it’s free. And then email it out to whoever you want or download on your phone and show it to your friends in the next break room, at work, at your next lunch break. Doesn’t matter. It’s all free. It’s at the Resources tab at the Dr. Urschel. All right, so let’s dive in. I’m going to go through a PowerPoint here. I hope you enjoy this and I hope this answers a lot of questions for people who are wondering, what do I try with Lupus when my joints all hurt. I got rashes all over my body, intestinal issues, leaky gut syndrome.

How do I fix this? Why do I have celiacs now? It’s because of the drugs you’re on, by the way. So if we can reduce the need and burden for drugs, even if you’re taking the drugs, the. The actual supplements I’m going to walk you through have already been published side by side to improve the detrimental toxic effects of the drugs. So to minimize those, you might want to start taking the supplements. And if you don’t know if it’s right for you, tell your rheumatologist to watch this. PowerPoint. Send them by email the PowerPoint directly from the resources tab at the Dr.

Ardis show and ask them to review that information with you and bring the supplements with you next time. I’m going to show you what they are. I’m going to show you what the doses are in the studies that you can apply in your own life and watch in the next few weeks your life improve. My goal is to improve your life. All right, well, let’s dive in. Natural solutions for lupus. You can scan the QR code, put in your email. And now we have the ability to notify you once a week when we have our new health and wellness presentations.

I do one a week. Some health topic of some sort. And remember, you can join The Ardis Club experience at the Dr. Ardis show if you want to ask a personal question to me. Once a month, I do a Q and A live, and then if I can’t get through all the questions on that live presentation, then I answer all of them. I record the answers, and it goes into a vault where you only have access as an Artist Club Experience member. And you can learn more at the Dr. Ardis Show. All right, this is Lupus Facts and Statistics from the Lupus foundation of America.

Yeah, every single medical diagnosis has a foundation or an association. This is the lupus one. All right, let’s dive in. Lupus facts and statistics. How common is lupus and who does it affect? Well, they tell you the Lupus foundation of America estimates that 1.5 million Americans and at least 5 million people worldwide have some form of lupus. Now, there’s a statistic on the bottom of this page I’m highlighting with the red box, but I’ve already mentioned it here. Did you know 9 out of 10 adults that have lupus are women? So women, why are you so often diagnosed with lupus? 9 out of 10 now, the same foundation Lupus foundation of America, please pay attention here.

Study reveals shockingly high rates of incorrect lupus diagnosis. Wait, what? Medical doctors get it wrong. They say you have lupus, but you really don’t. They misdiagnosed you. Let’s read. Yeah. Okay, look. 1.5 million Americans are being told to have lupus. But check this out. A study by the Lupus foundation of America, 3,000 adults with lupus. They found that 46% report being misdiagnosed with something other than lupus. Wow. So almost half of them really didn’t have lupus, or they were misdiagnosed and told they didn’t have lupus, but they did. And then additionally, more than half, 54.1%, were told that there was nothing wrong with them or that their symptoms were simply psychological.

You’re just depressed. These aren’t real symptoms. We don’t see anything wrong with you. All right, so you’re either being misdiagnosed over half of you or not being diagnosed at all, or you’re being given an incorrect diagnosis of lupus. And 46% of you. Either way, that’s a lot. Okay, so as accurate as you may think medical professional are at diagnosing autoimmune diseases, here’s just one. And almost half of the time, they get it wrong or blame you that your mind is playing tricks on you and your mind is creating all the symptoms that you have. It’s just psychological.

It’s not physical. Those numbers should be shocking to you. They were to me. All right, so let’s dive into the lupus. This is the Cleveland Clinic. Lupus is an autoimmune disease, meaning your immune system is attacking yourself. That makes your immune system damage organs and tissues throughout your body. It causes inflammation that can affect your skin, joints, blood, and organs like your kidneys, lungs, and heart. What is it? It’s an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation throughout your body. If you have lupus, your immune system damage your own body instead of protecting it. And here’s what lupus damages.

Lupus being your immune system attacking your body. And when you’re diagnosed with lupus, the immune system is attacking your skin and creating damage. Blood, joints, kidneys, brain, heart, and lungs. What are the different types? I didn’t even know until we built out this presentation that there’s other types other than systemic lupus erythematosis, which means the whole body has lupus. Then there’s these other three forms healthcare providers sometimes call lupus systemic lupus erythematosis. It’s the most common type of lupus, it means you have lupus throughout your body. But then there’s these three other types. Cutaneous lupus erythematosis.

This is lupus that only affects your skin. Then there’s drug induced lupus. Hold up. Did you know that medications can make a person appear to have lupus and that’s just a side effect of the drugs? The prescriptions your medical doctors are giving you. And do you know which drugs those are? Just, you know, prednisone is one of them. And I’m gonna show you how they know this. If you have joint pain called osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and they give you prednisone. Did you know prednisone causes lupus? And do you know prednisone is the number one drug they prescribe to people with lupus? So how are you gonna get rid of lupus when prednisone causes lupus? It’s amazing.

Alright, then there’s neonatal lupus, babies being born with lupus. Okay, what are your symptoms? Most common symptoms include these. If you’re wondering if my symptoms might be lupus, as you’re listening to the Dr. Dr. Ardis show pain, including your joints, muscles or chest. Headaches, rashes, especially across your face, forehead, but primarily your cheeks, which healthcare providers sometimes call a butterfly rash. Fevers, hair loss, mouth sores, fatigue, shortness of breath. Swollen glands, swelling in your arms, legs or face. Confusion, blood clots. Here’s just an infographic from the Cleveland Clinic. Joint pain throughout your body on a scale of 0 to 10.

They’re just showing you the scale. Headaches, fever, rashes, hair loss, mouth sores, confusion, blood clots, swelling in your joints, swollen glands, fatigue and shortness of breath. What are some complications of having lupus? Well, they tell you here at the Cleveland Clinic, lupus sometimes causes other health conditions. Damage to your organs and tissues can add up over time and lead to a new or different issues. I’m just going to say this real quick. I’m going to show you the most common drugs given for life to all lupus patients. The symptoms you’re looking at here are actually side effects of the drugs, not lupus.

Some lupus complications, but they’re going to call them lupus complications. Lupus complications include light sensitivity. I’m going to show you which drugs cause light sensitivity when you have lupus. Dry eyes. I’m going to show you which ones do that too. Depression. I’m going to show you those drugs too. Seizures, Yep. You’re going to see it. I’m going to show you which drugs prescribed to lupus patients cause seizures, anemia, low iron count. You’re going to see that too. Raynaud’s syndrome. I’m going to show you osteoporosis, heart disease and kidney disease. These are side effects of the prescriptions for lupus, but they’re going to always blame it on lupus.

But what do all lupus people have in common? They’re taking the same three drugs, all of them. And those three drugs cause all of these lupus symptoms. It’s pretty amazing. Alright, so lupus treatments, the goal with lupus, there is no cure for lupus, by the way. You’ll see it here in just a second. So the goal is to minimize damage to your organs and how much lupus affects your day to day life. You’ll probably need a combination of these medications and we starred the three primary ones. All lupus patients are given hydroxychloroquine, which is plaquenil. This is a prescription medication that treats malaria, a parasite.

So an anti parasitic, which I’ve already told you at the beginning of the show, all lupus patients have parasites. That’s why they give them hydroxychloroquine and why it gives them some relief. But I’ll explain why it doesn’t cure them. Corticosteroids, which is prednisone, and immunosuppressants, which is also prednisone or methotrexate. What can I expect if I have lupus? Asks Cleveland Clinic. Lupus is lifelong. You should expect to manage it for the rest of your life because you can’t fix it. And they tell you they can’t fix it. There’s currently no cure for lupus. They are right because lupus is just a collection of symptoms.

Joint pain, body rashes, and they don’t know what causes it. So how do they know how to cure it if they don’t even know what causes it? Plus they’re told that med school parasites don’t exist in America. However, they should wonder, why have I always told to give all of my lupus patients an antiparasitic drug called hydroxychloroquine or plaquenil? If there’s no parasites in America, how come every lupus patient goes on hydroxychloroquine or plaquenil, which is an anti parasite drug? And then why does that give people relief? It’s because they actually have parasites. And if the medical doctors knew how to cycle the drugs for parasites per the parasites life cycles.

You could cure all these people of lupus, but they’re told parasites don’t exist in America. So how would they know how to treat parasites if they don’t exist here? Okay, so let’s look into the most common drugs prescribed to lupus patients. Hydroxychloroquine, number one. Its brand. Brand name is plaquenil or quinaprox. Quiniprox, but plaque 1L most people know. All right, so what is hydroxychloroquine? Per drugs.com, hydroxychloroquine is quinoline, Medicine used to treat or prevent malaria, a disease caused by parasites that entered the body through the bite of a mosquito. So I have a question for you.

Now that you know that, how come every lupus patients is given hydroxychloroquine? Do they think the medical version. Do they think all of you got bit by a mosquito before you develop lupus? Because that’s what the drug’s for. And then why would it help anybody if you gave it to them if they didn’t have parasites? This medicine, though, is not effective against all strains of malaria. Yeah, of course not. Because these people still have their lupus symptoms. Hydroxychloroquine is also used to treat symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Wait, does that mean rheumatoid arthritis patients have parasites? Yes.

And discoid or systemically. Lupus erythematosis. Amen. There you go. There’s plaquenil. Just as a visual, hydroxychloroquine may cause people to be agitated. It’s time to dive into some of the most common side effects. If anybody’s out there diagnosed with lupus, your joints hurt, you got rashes on your face. They’re gonna be like, okay, you need plaquenil, Hydroxychloroquine. Just know these are what they know those drugs are going to do to you, not lupus, the drugs. Hydroxychloroquine may cause some people to become agitated, irritable, or display other abnormal behaviors within the first month after they start treatment.

It may also cause some people to have suicidal thoughts and tendencies or to become more depressed. As if rashes on your face and joint pains, trying to get up and down out of bed, off the floor isn’t. Is it depressing enough to ask yourself, is life worth living? Oh, no. In the first month of treatment, you may want to kill yourself because this drug causes depression and worsening suicide thoughts. Just want you guys all prepared. This might happen. Watch your loved ones if they’re put on this drug. This medicine lowers the number of some types of blood cells in your body.

Because of this, you may bleed or get infections more easily. So just be ready. It suppresses your immune system, so you’re probably going to get sick more often. And we’re going to focus on this one. Serious skin reactions from hydroxychloroquine or plaquenil include Stevens Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, drug reactions with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms, and acute generalized exandomatous pustulososis can occur during treatment with this medicine. We’re going to highlight and some of you, if you’re queasy, please don’t look at the screen. I’ve got some images of these two dermatological conditions caused by hydroxychloroquine and plaquenil.

So outside of having butterfly rash on your face and outside of having joint pain everywhere, a serious skin reaction caused by hydroxychloroquine is called Stevens Johnson syndrome. And now you’re going to see two examples of what this looks like, a side effect of hydroxychloroquine. And this is what it looks like. Stevens Johnson syndrome. The one on the left is the in arm of an individual. The right one is your lips with these gross boils coming up on the skin. This is a side effect. Steven Johnson syndrome is a side effect of hydroxychloroquine. Plaquenil, number one drug prescribed to all lupus patients.

The second one they list here is toxic epidermal necrolysis. Death of skin is what that actually means. Toxic epidermal skin, toxic skin death. So let me show you what that looks like. This is what it looks like. The topical outside surface of your skin starts to die and peel off. That is a side effect of hydroxychloroquine and plaquenil, not lupus. This is drugs.com hydroxychloroquine. All right, now, when you go into drugs.com or go into the physician’s desk reference, they will have common side effects listed rare side effects, serious side effects they have. These are some different categories of side effects.

Then there are two. Frequency not reported is one. And we’re going to define what that means here. Okay? If a side effect of a drug has the words frequently, frequency not reported, then this means that neither the product information nor the clinical trials have specified exactly how many people have experienced a side effect for this particular medicine. Sometimes side effects are not reported until after a drug goes to market. So after the FDA approves it, and then your doctors start prescribing it to you, when this happens, there’s no way to know how many people have experienced this side effect reliably.

That’s the category frequency not reported. So after the FDA approves the drug, your medical doctor writes the prescription to you. If any of these symptoms happen to you, including death or heart attacks, after the FDA approval, process any medical doctor reporting back to the FDA their patient had a serious side effect or side effect that wasn’t reported in the trials, it goes into a category called frequency not reported. Because they don’t know what percentage of people this is happening to, they’re relying on doctors to tell the fda now that you’re prescribing the drug, how often does this happen to your patients? I hope you understand that the FDA also gathers side effect information after a drug is approved and marketed.

These are called post marketing adverse reactions. So you have very common side effects, common side effects, rare side effects, serious side effects. Then you have frequency not reported. We don’t know what percentage of people has this. Just doctors are reporting back to us this is happening. And then the FDA also collects data after the drug goes to market. And these, this category of side effects is called post marketing side effects or adverse reactions. And that may be gathered from reports in a system run by the fda. Got it? Okay, so here we go. Hydroxychloroquine side effects per drugs.com also found in every physician’s desk reference that holds all the package inserts for every drug ever prescribed by your medical doctor.

Found in your pharmacy. Hydroxychloroquine. Remember it said lupus complications were eye problems. Photophobia, light sensitivity. All right, so just look here. 1 in 10 people on hydroxychloroquine when the drug was in human trials reported blurry vision. After the drug went to market and doctors started prescribing it, macular degeneration was reported back to the FDA as happening to their patients. Optic atrophy. The optic nerve is dying. Narrowing of retinal arteries in your eyes. Irreversible retinopathy with retinal pigmentation changes. Retina irreversible retinopathy with retinal pigment changes. A bullseye appearance. You’ll see there. Corneal changes including edema and opacities.

That’s cataracts. You’ll see below. Their photophobia is included. Photophobia and blurred vision. Photophobia is light sensitivity. Remember they said that’s a complication of lupus? No, that is a hydroxychloroquine side effect. Post marketing reports, the FDA gathers GI problems related to hydroxychloroquine. 1 in 10 or. Sorry, at least 10% or more will develop abdominal pain. So not only were your joints hurt, more than 10% of you will have joint pain. Also cardiovascular events. After the FDA approved the drug and it went to market and your doctor started prescribing hydroxychloroquine. Arrhythmias, cardiovascular side effects are being reported by medical doctors prescribing it atrial, ventricular heart block, heart attacks.

Ventricular arrhythmias. Yeah. QT interval prolongation. We did a whole show on that the other day. And then pulmonary hypertension are all side effects of hydroxychloroquine. One in ten will develop skin rashes. What? Okay. Lupus has skin rashes called the butterfly rash is one of them. Did you know one in ten will develop more skin rashes from hydroxychloroquine alone? Well, I just showed them to you. Stevens Johnson syndrome is one. And then toxic epidermal necrolysis is the other. And then alopecia, you’ll lose your hair. Pruritus. Little bitty purple blotches or red blotches all over your skin is a side effect of hydroxychloroquine.

Hypoglycemia and anorexia. One in 10, you won’t want to eat anymore and your blood sugar will drop. And then another side effect. Published after the FDA actually made this available in your pharmacy to be given to you for lupus. We’re going to show you what this means. Hepatic means liver. So on drugs.com they’re telling you what’s the liver side effects of hydroxychloroquine. Acute, meaning sudden fulminant hepatic failure. Hepatic means liver. So at least three of those words you should be able to pick up on acute liver failure. Your liver dies. What Fulminate may not. You might not be familiar with that term, so I put the definition in here.

What is fulminant hepatic failure? Fhf. This is defined as severe liver failure in which encephalopathy, swelling develops in under two weeks. In a patient with a previously normal liver, hydroxychloroquine causes this. So someone goes from having a normal liver to now they have a severe liver failure. The liver’s not working anymore. It’s died within two weeks of being normal. That is fulminant hepatic failure. Okay, so everybody hope you’re following. This is a side effect of hydroxychloroquine, or plaquenil, the first primary drug given to all lupus patients. Okay, but I want you to read this. Fulminant hepatic failure, abbreviated fhf, is a rare but often life threatening syndrome.

I don’t know how to make this more English for you, but FHF is a rare but often kills you. How about that? Is that better? Hydroxychloroquine can cause fulminant hepatic failure, abbreviated fhf, which is rare but often kills you. Lupus. If lupus doesn’t kill you, hydroxychloroquine might by shutting down your kidneys. Ask your doctor if liver failure and death are right for you. When your joints hurt, you got a rash on your face, ask him. I’m going to show you some alternatives here later on this presentation that are more safe and won’t cause these side effects at all.

One in 10 people will develop headaches. Remember, complications of lupus were headaches. 1 in 10. Get it from hydroxychloroquine. Nerve deafness, vertigo and tinnitus. In 1% of everybody, that’s 1.5 million. There’s a lot of people are going to be developing tinnitus, renal ringing in their ears or tinnitus, vertigo, dizziness and then nerve deafness. Okay, cochlear implants. Anybody from hydroxychloroquine? Hearing loss is reported by medical doctors after prescribing hydroxychloroquine to lupus patients. What about, what about neurological? Okay, remember they talked about depression, affect and emotional liability in 1 in 10 nervousness and 1% musculoskeletal, absent hypoactive deep tendon reflexes, skeletal muscle myopathy, muscle death or inflammation, muscle weakness, neuromyopathy, nerve pain.

Anybody from hydroxychloroquine? What about hypersensitivity and allergic reactions? Urticaria, rashes on the skin, angioedema, swelling, eyes swelling, nose swelling, mouth swelling, ears swelling, vagina swelling, penis. That’s what that is. Bronchospasm. That’s asthma. Hydroxychloroquine can cause asthma, hypersensitivity, myocarditis. Did you know hydroxychloroquine, plaquenil can cause myocarditis? Just like the COVID 19 vaccines. How about that? The things you learn here at the Dr. Ardis. Ask your doctor if myocarditis is right for you. You know, doc, my joints hurt, my face is red. Should we damage my heart too at the same time? Shut down my liver at the same time.

Also, can I squint out in the light because I got photophobia. Photophobia being ey light sensitivity. All right, this is prednisone. Probably the most well documented, most prescribed corticosteroid on earth and a miracle drug for short term use. Any period, three months or less of prednisone, I’m okay with if you need it. But in the meantime, I hope you’re looking for what’s the underlying cause of your pain and inflammation. Because when you get to the root cause, you won’t need prednisone anymore. Prednisone is just there to stop you from feeling something for a while. But holy cow, here we go.

Here’s prednisone. Otherwise known Americas brand names Rao, Starapid and Delta Zone. Most people notice prednisone. All right, so drugs.com, let’s dive into the second most prescribed drug to all lupus patients by your medical professionals. Prednisone is a corticosteroid medication used to decrease inflammation and keep your immune system in check. If it is overactive, Prednisone is used to treat allergic disorders, skin conditions, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, copd, and many more conditions. Yes, it is. And like I said, it is a miracle drug for acute problems. But it should never be taken long term because you’re about to realize why.

All right, using too much of this medicine. This is drugs.com. using too much prednisone or using it for too long may increase your risk of having adrenal gland problems. This medicine may cause you to get more infections than usual. Ask your doctor if more infections are right for you. This medicine might cause thinning of the bones caused osteoporosis. Hold on. Cleveland Clinic said that one of the complications of lupus was osteoporosis. It isn’t lupus, it’s prednisone that causes it. Or it may cause slow growth in children if used for a long time. Ask your doctor if osteoporosis is right for you.

Do not take other medicines unless they have been discussed with their doctor. This includes prescription or non prescription over the counter meds and herbal or vitamin supplements. Excuse me. When someone’s prescribed prednisone to you like it’s candy. Seriously, like it’s lifesaver candy, I mean, they Give it to everybody like it’s nothing. Do you tell your doctor that you’re taking supplements, vitamins, herbs and other medications before they ever give it to you so your doctor can review? Is there anything wrong or scary risk, risky about doing both together? Nobody does that, but you might want to ask your doctor to start doing it.

All right. Prednisone side effects for those of you living with lupus and swallowing prednisone every day after you got overweight from consuming this and then eating anything with salt in it and you ballooned up. Yes, everybody on prednisone does it. The most commonly reported side effects associated with cortico corticosteroid use, including prednisone, include fluid retention, you’re going to swell. Alteration in blood sugar tolerance, high blood pressure from prednisone. Remember complications. Lupus was hypertension. No, prednisone doesn’t. Behavior and mood changes. Oh, that’s great because half of everybody with lupus is told they just have a psychological disorder like depression or anxiety.

Wait. And then they put you on prednisone and it makes it worse. Increased appetite and weight gain. I’d like to ask anybody out there, do you think adding weight to your body improves how your joints feel when they’re swollen and painful? Think about your knees, ankles, hips. Do you think they feel better when prednisone makes you gain weight? Long term use effects include HPA suppression, hypothalamus pituitary adrenal suppression, your hormones can’t even communicate correctly anymore at all. Cushingoid appearance, which we’ll show you in a second, cataracts and increased intraocular pressure called glaucoma. Did you know that prednisone causes glaucoma and cataracts? How many of you have been on prednisone for years for arthritis or any autoimmune disease? Later we’re told you had to have cataract or lens transplant procedures because you have cataracts.

And then how many ever told you had glaucoma? Did you know prednisone causes glaucoma and cataracts? And if you take it every day, you’re definitely going to get it. Did you know prednisone next statement. Causes osteoporosis and spinal compression fractures? How many people do you know in assisted living home nursing homes who are elderly on Medicare? Elderly people have had concrete injected into their spine where their vertebrae collapsed. How many of you knew that was a side effect of prednisone? It’s not a process of Aging. That is not normal aging. It’s normal side effects to toxic drugs if you take them too long.

All right, so what about the effects of prednisone long term on the heart? Did you know prednisone causes bradycardia? Cardiac arrest means a heart attack, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac enlargement, cardiomyopathy, or cardiomegaly if your heart’s getting too big. Did you know prednisone does that circulatory collapse? Your arteries and veins collapse and close. Congestive heart failure is a side effect of prednisone, cardiomyopathy, heart disease and premature infants. Myocardial rupture. The muscles of your heart rip open following a recent heart infection or, sorry, myocardial infarction, which is a heart attack. And then tachycardia and thromboembolism are side effects of prednisone.

Now this is what I find atrocious, by the way, they know prednisone does all that stuff to your heart, including cardiac arrest. But, you know, it’s amazing. If you have lupus and you’re on prednisone for 30 years and you die from a heart attack, you know what they’re gonna put on your death certificate? Died of heart disease or heart attack. But you didn’t. You died from the toxic side effects of prednisone you swallowed every single day. That causes known by the fda. The from that post marketing report to cause bradycardia, cardiac arrest, rupture of your heart muscle following a heart attack.

I mean, you’re gonna die when that happens. But they don’t write that. They’ve never written on a death certificate. Death caused by prednisone toxicity side effect. No, they’re gonna write heart disease and then guess what happens. You now have new statistics supporting why it is you need to give more money to the American Heart association. When in fact you’ve been swallowing a pill every single day known to cause heart failure and death. Cardiac arrest. That’s prednisone. And just in case you’re wondering, as I go through this list and you’re looking at the screen with me, if you’re wondering what drug I’m still on, if you look at the bottom, you’ll see the reference there to the research study or the article online and you see where it says www.drugs.com forward/prednisone on the screen right below the white part.

I’m showing you the screenshot from drugs.com prednisone. That’s where the drug Name is. If you’re wondering what drug I’m on. Prednisone, Metabolic frequency not reported. This was after human trials once millions of medical doctors were prescribing prednisone. Hypokalemia, low potassium, increased appetite and weight gain. Anorexia, weight loss, Hypertriglycerides, triglycerides going up. Hypercholesterol, elevated cholesterol. How many of you are put on Prednisone, Your cholesterol went up. Then you’re put on Lipitor, a statin drug to lower cholesterol, which increases your risk of cancer. All statin drugs are called carcinogens, known carcinogens. So you’re put on prednisone because your joints hurt and your face is red.

They call it lupus. And then you develop elevated cholesterol and triglycerides. And then they’re going to put you on a statin drug which increases your risk of developing all cancers. What about your hormones? What are the side effects of prednisone? Your hormones, Adrenal insufficiency, Buffalo hump, Moon face. Hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism caused by prednisone. The third most prescribed drug in America is Levothyroxine, synthetic synthroid. Synthroid, synthetic thyroid hormone is levothyroxine. Did you know? Prednisone, the most prescribed corticosteroid on Earth to all Americans, causes hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism and causes what’s called Buffalo Hump and Moon face. Would you like to see what those things are? In case you don’t have context, the picture on the right is Buffalo Hump.

Prednisone does that. It’s not genetic. You didn’t inherit it. It’s not because you didn’t go to your chiropractor enough? No. The drug prednisone causes Buffalo Hump. If you look to the left, you’ll see a normal face. Then after prednisone use for a long time, Moon face is what they call it, a very rounded, lower face. Those are the side effect of prednisone. Now, about you. But if you got a butterfly rash on your face, but then the dimension of your face completely changed and it got big and round, is that better than the skin rash? I don’t know.

You tell me. And then for your eyes, blurry vision. Cataracts are caused by prednisone. Glaucoma caused by prednisone. Retinopathy, pain in your retina, in the back of your eye, caused by bacterial fungi. And viral infections caused by prednisone. Remember predno? Prednisone suppresses your immune system, so you can’t fight infection. So, yes, anywhere in your body, you’re more exposed to infections. All right, what about your GI tract with prednisone? Abdominal distension. Your belly’s gonna get big. You look like a beer belly. Oropharyngeal candidiasis, thrush, candida in your mouth. Pancreatitis, really painful inflammation in your pancreas. Peptic ulcers.

Anybody? Immunosuppression, aggravation, or masking of infections. And decreased resistance to all infections. Prednisone suppresses your immune system. That’s its job. So that’s not weird. That’s just what it does. All right, what about your musculoskeletal system? Joints, muscles? Remember they hurt with lupus, so they put you on this. Increased risk of fracture with prednisone. Loss of muscle mass from prednisone, tendon ruptures, including your Achilles tendon. In fact, of all ruptures, I think that would be the worst, personally. Compression fractions. Suppression of growth in pediatric patients. These drugs are chemicals that have serious side effects. Allergic reactions include anaphylaxis to prednisone, angioedema, swelling of your mouth, face, eyes, ears, reproductive organs, and obviously allergic reactions.

What about your nervous system for prednison? Convulsions, seizures. Dementia is caused by prednisone. How many of you out there have been told you have early onset dementia? And it runs in your family. You had a mom with Alzheimer’s. Your mom was who they were highlighting in the movie the Notebook. Okay, like you inherited dementia. Well, have you been on prednisone for any length of time? Because it causes dementia. How do you know that’s inherited? How do you differentiate between inherited genes? And you’ve been on prednisone for a long time. Impaired cognition, increased intracranial pressure, paraparesis, paraplegia, you’re paralyzed, different parts of your body.

Neuropathy. How many seniors do you know suffer with pain throughout their body called neuropathy? And they’re on prednisone. Did you know prednisone causes nerve pain? I mean, if you got joint pain and butterfly rashes for lupus, wouldn’t it be better to make all your nerves in your body feel like they’re on fire? Prednisone will do that. I don’t want to just have joint pain, Doc. And facial pain and redness and irritation. Give me some nerve pain, please. Sign me up for long term use of prednisone. What about the psychiatric. What about your brain? Your mood? Amnesia, anxiety, delirium, depression, Side effects of prednisone.

Long term memory loss. Oh, no. I thought that was just Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s and ms? Nope. Prednisone does that. Schizophrenia, anybody? Would you like to see things that aren’t there? Would you like to have delusions of grander that someone’s out to try to destroy you? The government’s spying on you and wanting to ruin your life. People are scheming in clandestine meetings to destroy your life. Personally, would you like to be living in paranoia? Then you should get on prednisone for your life. Verbal memory loss, by the way. Verbal, you can’t speak anymore. Words, you can’t speak it.

You know, Bruce Willis just retired from Hollywood from a condition called aphasia. That’s what that is. Verbal memory loss. Did you know prednisone causes that? Is Bruce Willis on prednisone? You might want to ask him. That’s not the only drug that causes it. Statin drugs are well documented to cause men in Bruce Willis’s age to develop aphasia. The inability to speak words you forget and it actually slows down. You can think the words, but then your mouth won’t speak it as a drug. Side effect of prednisone and all statin drugs, which are the most prescribed drugs to Americans, by the way.

All right, what about your blood? What are the side effects of the blood from prednisone? Lymphopenia, reduction of white blood cell count, which is what it’s supposed to do. It’s reducing your immune system. Did you know? Pulmonary edema, Water accumulating in your lungs where you drown to death. Like my father in law was killed in a hospital in 2020 from the effects of a drug. Well, this drug does it too. Prednisone. Pulmonary edema, fluid in the lungs. What about your skin? A very severe side effect of prednisone. Uses cystic acne. It’s horrible, but acne’s first. This acne form, eruptions.

It’s awful. Super painful all over the body of these people. Alopecia, losing your hair, impaired wound healing. And then I put in an arrow here. Prednisone is prescribed to all lupus patients. Look what a published side effect known by the FDA is of prednisone. Given to every lupus patient. I quote, prednisone causes lupus erythematosis, like lesions. No wonder your loved one’s Lupus isn’t going away. They’re swallowing a pill every day that they know causes lupus erythematosis. Like lesions on their skin and their joints and their intestines. Is that exciting? There is no cure for lupus. You just have to manage it with these drugs the rest of your life.

Oh, by the way, I know lots of people who don’t have lupus anymore. All we had to do was cure them of parasites and then they didn’t need these drugs anymore. I just found that astounding that one of the most common drugs ever. Oh, and then how about this? How about any of you out there developed gout? How about joint pain? Maybe you had an injury or an infection and they put you on prednisone and then you broke out with lupus like lesions. Then you went to your dermatologist, your rheumatologist, and they diagnosed you with lupus, but you don’t have lupus.

What if you just have prednisone side effects that look like lupus? Remember I showed you lupus? Foundation of America says 46% of people were incorrectly diagnosed for lupus. What if they were just on prednisone? There’s lots of reason people are put on prednisone, not just for lupus. So what if you just develop the lupus symptoms? So crazy. So what a world I live in. All right, what about your liver with prednisone? Alt ast are inflammatory enzymes in the liver. If those get elevated, they say you have a fatty liver can. Congested liver. That’s what they’re saying happens with prednisone.

And yes, death comes to people from lupus or with lupus, not from lupus. People with lupus are threatened with hepatic failure from lupus. You will be told lupus will destroy the liver and you’ll die. No, it’s the drugs for lupus that do it. Hepatomegaly. Look at it right there. Hepatomegaly is the last word in that section for hepatic enlargement of the liver. But look at what it says. Your liver. If you come off the drug, it’s usually reversible upon discontinuation of prednisone. If you just came off prednisone, the liver will go back to normal. Kaposi sarcoma, which looks like that is a side effect of prednisone.

I don’t know about you. Does anybody want that? Anyway, this is a cancer side effect of prednisone. Vertigo, pyrexia, abnormal fat deposits Pyrexia is fevers. CellCEPT, a selective immunosuppressant, is the next drug we’re going to highlight. Most often given to lupus patients, CellCept weakens your body’s immune system to help keep it from rejecting. A transplanted organ is primarily why it’s given. CellCept is used to prevent organ rejection in patients, shutting off your immune system from attacking those organs who are at least three months of age, who have received a liver transplant, a heart transplant, or a kidney transplant.

And that’s what it looks like. All right, Here are the FDA black box warnings for CellCept for any of you with lupus who are told you should get on this embryo. Fetal toxicity, malignancies, cancers, and serious infections. Use during pregnancy is associated with an increased risk of first trimester pregnancy loss, death of your baby in utero, and congenital malformations. You will have birth defects in your baby if you’re on this cell set. Product. Increased risk of developing lymphoma and other malignancy cancers with CellCept, particularly of the skin. Increase susceptibility to infections, including opportunistic infections and severe infections with fatal outcomes.

When you’re given CellCept. I’m not sure dying from an infection is better than having some joint pain, but maybe you think it is. Ask your doctor if CellCept’s right for you. This medicine may increase your risk of developing a serious and rare brain infection called pml. Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy. That’s what that stands for. Serious and rare brain infection from CellCept. This medicine may increase your risk of developing a rare and serious viral infection, including shingles, herpes, cytomegalovirus infection, polio, MA virus, polyomavirus associated nephropathy, kidney failure, BK virus associated nephropathy, kidney Failure from BK virus, or SARS CoV2 infection.

Did you know CellCept increases your risk of getting Covid? The BK virus may affect how your kidneys work and cause a transplanted kidney to fail. Okay, so the drug they give you to stop your body from attacking the kidneys and destroying it also can increase your risk of getting a BK virus that shuts down your kidneys and makes your transplanted kidney failure. Just want y’ all to know they know that. So if it didn’t work, don’t blame your doctor. They gave you a drug that kills it in some cases had nothing to do with your immune system.

The BK virus because of CellCept did it. All right, let’s look at your blood. What are some blood side effects of CellCept? The very common published side effect in human trials of CellCept was leukopenia reduction in white blood cell count. 11 to 35% of all people anemia and 35% is 1 in 3 will become anemic, pure red cell aplasia and bone marrow failure. Bone marrow transplants Anybody did you know prescribed medications cause your bone marrow to die and you need new bone marrow transplanted. What about GI side effects? 10% or more 36% you will develop diarrhea from CellCept.

20% will be nauseous, 13% will be vomiting. Those all sound like pregnancy symptoms. So if you want to feel like a newly pregnant woman in their first trimester, try CellCepts. It’ll make you nauseous, want to vomit, have diarrhea and give you abdominal pain. 1 in 10 will develop GI infections and gastroenteritis, which is extremely painful. 1 in 10 cell set patients will develop lymphomas, lymphoproliferative disease, non melanoma, skin cancer, post transplant lymphoproliferative diseases. Sounds amazing. What about your immune system? With cells that well remember it shuts off your immune system. So in the category of 10% or more being very common side effect, 20% of all people with this drug develop sepsis.

One in five from Cytomegalovirus Candida, gastrointestinal candida, a fungal infection, overgrowth, urinary tract infections, herpes simplex virus, cold sores, fever, blisters and then herpes zoster that causes shingles will occur in more than 10% of all of you on cell set. So besides the butterfly rash for lupus, now you got shingles that are super painful all over your body and blisters all over your lips. One in ten will develop pneumonia from cell set. Influenza, respiratory tract infections, GI infections, Candida, which is fungal infections, fungal skin infection, skin candida and vaginal candidiasis. Every woman out there loves having vaginal candida.

If you’re looking for vaginal candida, it sounds like one in ten of you will get it if you try sell set. Serious life threatening threatening infections including meningitis are a published side effect by the FDA for CellCept. Serious life threatening infections including meningitis. Up to 10% of all of you, 1 in 10 kidney impairment, kidney failure and 1 in 10 edema in up to 28% of you. 1 in 3 will develop swelling around your body, being able to breathe.

23% of you, 1 in 5 will develop respiratory tract infections. 1 in 10 will develop pneumonia, respiratory menoliasis and bronchitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis, rhinitis, runny noses. Interstitial lung disease and fatal pulmonary fibrosis are published side effects of Cellcept. I don’t know about you, but if my joints hurt and I had a rash on my face, do you want fatal pulmonary fibrosis also? Is that better? Ask your doctor. Fatal pulmonary fibrosis from CellCept is right for you when they prescribe it. Oh, you know, it’s amazing if you actually got cell set prescribed you and you took it for any condition and then you died of pulmonary fibrosis.

Do you know CellCept will never be put down as the cause of death? On your death certificate they would just write death caused by fatal pulmonary fibrosis. This is what I find disgusting. The drugs they’ve been on causes the pulmonary fibrosis. Why don’t they call it death caused by a side effect of CellCept? I’m showing information from the FDA right here. They know CellCept leads to fatal pulmonary fibrosis, yet nobody has been blamed to die from Cellcept on their death certificates. This is pulmonary fibrosis. You see my problem? All right, 1 in 10 will develop fungal skin infections, skin hypertrophy and skin and hair loss called alopecia from Cellcept.

Well, if you have rashes all over your body, I guess losing all your hair on your head so you can see more rashes all over your head is a better idea. Increase incidence of first trimester pregnancy loss with Cellcept. So the lesson is if you’re pregnant, don’t get on cellcept. Hepatitis, and 1 in 10 liver inflammation, tachycardia, and 1 in 10 from CellCept. Hypotension, hypertension, vasodilation. For your urinary tract infections, 45% of you on CellCept will develop. That’s one in two of you will have urinary tract infections caused by Cellcept. And then a whole lot of you, more than 10% or at least 10% of you, will develop candida infections vaginally.

Alright, One of my favorites most toxic chemotherapy based drugs is methotrexate. You’ll see the brand names up there. Trexol, Zatmep and Dilamvo. But methotrexate, most people know what is methotrexate for? Lupus interferes with the growth of certain cells of the body, especially cells that reproduce quickly, such as cancer cells, bone marrow cells and skin cells. Methotrexate is used to treat leukemia and certain types of cancer of the breast, skin, head, neck, lung or uterus. That’s what it looks like. Important FDA black box warning for methotrexate. Severe toxic reactions, including embryo fetal toxicity. Methotrexate can cause severe fatal toxicities to your baby.

Methotrexate, down below in a box. Methotrexate can cause embryo fetal toxicity and fetal death. This drug will kill your babies in utero. What do you think it’s doing to you? Bone marrow suppression infection, kidney gastrointestinal, hepatic, pulmonary hypersensitivities and dermatological problems. So kidneys are affected, liver is affected, all of them are affected by this drug. And you saw in the beginning, Cleveland Clinic of this presentation says that complications from lupus are they affect the kidneys and the liver. I’ve already shown you the drugs they give you for lupus cause liver toxicity and kidney toxicity. In fact, I’m going to show you some pictures of what methotrexate does to your liver here in just a second.

Fetal death. Just wanted to highlight that for you there. Methotrexate can cause serious or fatal side effects. All of you out there, if you’re wondering. Now, now remember, lots of people die living with lupus, being treated for lupus. And you will see on their death certificates that they died of a heart attack, died of cancer, or they died of lupus, when in fact the drugs are on are known to kill people. So here are the serious or fatal side effects of methotrexate. Fatal, meaning these symptoms are caused by methotrexate and the person dies. But it will never be written on your death certificate that they died from the side effects of the poisoning of methotrexate.

And I have a problem with that. Alright. Sudden chest pain, wheezing, dry cough, cough with mucus, chest pain, feeling a short of breath. That’s called a heart attack, y’. All. Methotrexate does that. Fever, chills, Swollen lymph nodes, lymphoma, night sweats, weight loss. Okay. Hypothyroidism. Okay. Blisters or ulcers in your mouth, red or swelling, gums, trouble swallowing. These can be serious or fatal skin changes such as redness, warmth, swelling or oozing. Oh, okay. Well, redness is the rash of lupus did you know this was a serious side effect of methotrexate? Vomiting, diarrhea, blood in your urine or stools.

I remember my loved one, lupus, had lots of diarrhea. Bleeding out of the rectum, caused by issues related to methotrexate in their intestines. But they were always told it was side effects of lupus. No, it isn’t. The drugs do this, Poisons do this, chemicals do this. Low blood cell counts, fever, chills, mouth sores, skin sores. Kidney problems from methotrexate. Little or no urination. That means your kidneys are being shut down. Swelling in your feet or ankles, lymphedema. Liver problems caused by methotrexate can be fatal or serious. Fatal would be serious. Serious or fatal. Liver problems, swelling around your midsection, right sided upper stomach, pain, nausea, loss of appetite, dark urine, jaundice, yelling of the skin or eyes.

Nerve problems, including confusion, weakness, drowsiness, coordination problems, looks like ms, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, and als. Feeling irritable, headaches, neck stiffness, vision problems. Oh, wait, they said vision problems were created by lupus. No. Methotrexate given to you because you have lupus causes the eye problems. And then check us out. Loss of movement in any part of your body or a seizure. Seizures was a complication of lupus. No, no, no, my friends, it is a complication of the treatment they give you for lupus called methotrexate. Signs of tumor cell breakdown, tiredness, weakness, muscle cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, faster, slow heart rate, tingling your hands and feet or around your mouth while you’re being treated with methotrexate and after you Stop, everybody listen to me.

While being treated with methotrexate or right after you stop treatment with it, do not have any vaccines without your doctor’s approval. How many people during COVID 19 were on methotrexate and were told to just go down to their local Home Depot parking lot and have somebody in the in a drive through lane just inject you? How many of them do you think asked you for your medical history and your medication list because they tell you you should never do it. Never get a vaccine while taking methotrexate or soon after coming off of it. So just, you know, there are times when vaccines are not good for you and the medical profession will tell you don’t do it.

And you might want to consult your doctor first. One of those is if you’re on methotrexate for lupus, serious Skin reactions, including toxic epidermal necrolysis and Stevens Johnson syndrome. I’m not going to show you the pictures again. I already showed you what that looks like. This medicine, methotrexate, may increase your risk for other cancers. What? When you have lupus, you don’t have cancer. But methotrexate can cause blood cancers and skin cancers like leukemia, multiple myeloma, or skin cancers like sarcomas, melanomas, you name it. Ask your doctor if cancer is right for you when you have joint pain and rashes on your face called lupus.

Now let’s get into the general side effects. They published by the FDA of methotrexate. Frequently observed adverse reactions include ulcerative stomatitis, leukopenia, low white blood cell count, nausea, abdominal distress. In addition, infections, malaise, fatigue, chills, fever, and dizziness are common side effects of methotrexate for the heart. Arterial thrombosis, blood clots in your arteries, cerebral blood clots, brain blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, big clots in your legs, retinal vein thrombosis in your retina. You have little arteries and blood clots will get in there and you’ll go blind. Thrombophlebitis, pulmonary embolism, blood clot in your lungs. And then I highlighted for you.

Sudden death is a side effect of methotrexate. How many people do you know have died while taking methotrexate? And it was put on their death certificate. Died suddenly from the side effects of methotrexate. How many of you knew that? The FDA knows that sudden death is a side effect of methotrexate. You should ask your medical doctor. When you got a rash on your face called a butterfly rash, you got joint pain from lupus. When they give you methotrexate, ask them if cancers and sudden death are right for you. And if they don’t know those are side effects, what kind of doctor are they? Obviously incompetent, and you need a new one.

Maybe someone who’s interested in learning. Did you know methotrexate can cause diabetes? Well, the FDA reports it does, but diabetes is called an autoimmune disease that you inherit from genetics. Oh, really? Methotrexate can cause diabetes. What does that have to do with your genetics? Nothing. It just kills the cells of your pancreas that produce insulin. Ask your doctor if diabetes is right for you. All right. Dermatology, skin conditions. Side effects of methotrexate common up to 10% of you will develop dermatitis or loss of hair called alopecia. And rashes. Look at that. One in ten will develop rashes.

Well, what’s one of the most common symptoms of lupus? Rashes. And then look at this. The FDA knows that dermatitis exfoliative is a side effect of methotrexate. That’s where your skin starts dying and peeling off. Look at those hands. And then you’ll see toxic epidermal necrolysis and Steven Johnson syndrome again. Remember those really disgusting pictures I showed you earlier of the arm and the lips of that guy? Side effects of hydroxychloroquine. I’m not going to show them here. What about your GI tract with methotrexate? Nausea, vomiting. And 10% of all of you. Dyspepsia can’t produce enough stomach acid, gerd, oral ulcers, you name it.

Bleeding in your ulcer. Bleeding ulcers in your intestines are another side effect of methotrexate. Intestinal perforation. Holes in your intestines where they just rip open. You’re going to get sepsis, gingivitis in your mouth, pancreatitis, swelling of your pancreas. Super painful. You’ll end up in a Hospital. And GI ulcers are side effects of methotrexate. 1% of people with methotrexate will develop vaginal inflammation and ulcers in their vagina. I’m not sure that’s better than joint pain, defective ogenesis or spermatogenesis. You can go infertile. Not being able to produce sperm anymore because of methotrexate. Side effects, loss of libido.

You’re no longer attracted or want to have sexual impulses. Impotence. Can’t get it up anymore. You’re not interested. Gynecomastia. Do you know what that is? I hope you know what that is. If you don’t, I’ll just tell you. That’s where men grow boobs. That’s a side effect of methotrexate. Menstrual dysfunction could be a myriad of things related to the menstrual cycle. The blood. What are the effects of methotrexate on your blood? Thrombocytopenia, platelet count being less than a hundred thousand. Leukopenia, white blood cell count being less than 3,000. Are side effects. Bone marrow depression. Methotrexate is a cancer drug.

Chemotherapy. It destroys the immune system. Your immune system is produced by your bone marrow. That Is not weird, you know, that’s what the drug does. Okay. 15% of all people will develop elevated liver function tests. Remember, the drugs for lupus cause damage to your liver and your kidneys, but they will blame it on lupus. It is not lupus. It is the drugs. Fibrosis and fatty degeneration of the liver in 1% of you, and then cirrhosis or liver failure caused by methotrexate. There it is. That’s what a cirrhosis of the liver looks like. The healthy liver is on your left, the fatty diseased liver on your right.

That’s what methotrexate does. Diabetes mellitus. 1% of all people on methotrexate will develop diabetes. This is called osteonecrosis of your jaw. A published side effect of methotrexate. That looks sexy. I’d like to make out with somebody with gums like that where their jawbone is literally dying in their mouth. In their face. Ask your doctor if osteonecrosis of the jaw is right for you when they prescribe methotrexate. I’m not sure if that’s better than having a rash on your face. At least you can close your mouth, I guess, and hide that grossness in your mouth. Speech impairment is the side effect of methotrexate.

Transient cognitive dysfunction, mood alterations, convulsions, which are called seizures, and spinal radiculopathy. Okay, spinal problems. Anybody? What about your lungs? Interstitial pneumonitis. Pneumonia. 1 in 10 will develop pneumonia from methotrexate. Upper respiratory infections are common. Pulmonary alveolar hemorrhage. Bleeding out in your lungs. Could you imagine drowning in your own blood? You ever see movies where people are coughing up blood? That’s what this is. It’s caused by methotrexate. Pulmonary fibrosis caused by methotrexate. Respiratory failure caused by methotrexate. Chronic interstitial obstructive pulmonary disease called copd, caused by methotrexate. Oh, my goodness. How many people die from the effects of copd? How many of them were on methotrexate that caused their copd? And why didn’t the coroner write down death caused by methotrexate causing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease? Why not? I mean, the FDA knows the drugs do this.

Your doctor should know it. Does it? How about your eyes? There’s a condition by methotrexate called xerophthalmia. And this is three pictures of what? That looks like these are side effects of methotrexate. I don’t know about you, but if your eyeball looks like that, I don’t know, is that better than having a butterfly rash? Maybe it is. I don’t know. Inflammation and ulceration of your urinary bladder. Yeah. Nephropathy, kidney disease. All right, so those are your most common side effects. My favorite side effects of the drugs they give you when you have lupus to the 1.5 million Americans and the 5 millions worldwide.

Okay. And they tell you that lupus causes all these complications in the future on all your internal organs. Well, you just learned that ain’t true. It ain’t lupus. It ain’t lupus. It’s your prescriptions you’re swallowing that have known published detrimental side effects on your internal organs. So stop blaming it on lupus. You can blame it on the damn drugs. And now you might want to know, what can I do to prevent worsening side effects of these drugs to resolve, maybe and improve your livelihood for the future? I mean, I’m not sure you want kidney failure, liver failure, do you? Do you want cardiac arrest? Do you want Steven Johnson syndrome and blisters all over your body? Do you want that? I don’t think so.

So let’s dive into what I suggest for lupus. Now, I’ve got some great feedback from both my team who helped me here at the Dr. Ardis show on how ways in which when I dive really deep into scientific research studies on various health topics, even when I’m dying, diving into the antidotes that medicine and research has figured out work better than even drugs and are safer, less side effects. They think sometimes that scientific literature I’m going through might be too hard for you to follow. So I’m going to show you three or four different nutrients that I would recommend from research studies proving to be effective against systemic lupus erythematosis.

Okay? But before I dive into the specific research studies, from now on, I’m going to do a highlight science summary of that research study. So I’m going to show you some just really high level, very easy to understand laypeople statements out of the research study confirming the effectiveness of a natural compound, a mineral, vitamin, plant, homeopathic product. I’m going to show you that first. Then I’m going to dive into the research. So if you just like the summaries, you’re like, just show me. Okay, great. That, okay, I see that’s conclusive. It worked. And then I show you the title of the research study.

If that’s enough for you, check out fast forward to the next section. I’m going to do this for each of these nutrients. It’s the first time I’ve ever done this. But here we go. Natural solutions for lupus Science summary. The first nutrient I’m going to walk you through is a research study from 2022. You see it on the screen. This is a research study on Nigella sativa and black cumin seed oil which is the second ingredient in our biodefense product. I quote from the research studies I’m about to do a deep dive into. Remember, you can ignore it if you want to.

Nigela sativa oil, otherwise known as black cumin seed oil group, those who have systemic lupus that were given Nigela sativa oil showed significantly lower autoimmunity than the placebo group who didn’t get it. These results suggest that the administration of black cumin seed oil called Nigel acetivol may reduce the renal or kidney inflammation caused by autoimmune mechanisms. Remember, each of these drugs cause kidney failure and they blame it on lupus. But to prevent that autoimmune reaction, which is also the drug induced reaction, black cumin seed oil they found prevented the kidney inflammation caused by autoimmune diseases. The next statement out of this research study, Nigela sativa can be consumed.

You can swallow it at the complementary as the complementary medication for systemic lupus erythematosis. It has been proved to improve the function of the immune system by reducing the expression of pro inflammation responses called cytokines. These are inflammatory things in the blood and they reference which ones. Nigella sativa or black cumin seed oil brings down Interleukin 6, Interleukin 17, Interleukin 23 and it increases the expression of what are called trigs significantly which also has to do with autoimmunity and protecting the immune system. Nigella sativa oil also can prevent kidney tissue damage which is one of the number one causes of death for people with lupus from the drugs or from lupus.

All right, now those are the summary statements. So now I’m going to dive into the research study from 2022 on Nigel Acetivo and why biodefense? I would recommend anybody with lupus Remember biodefense also treats parasites, kills parasites and disease causing bacteria and fungi. This is why it works. But okay, here we go. But the plan itself improves the immune system. Nigella sativa oil as an immune supportive product and preventative has preventative effects on kidney Tissue damage of lupus mice induced by pristine. There’s a chemical called pristine they injected in mice, and it causes them to develop lupus symptoms.

This is very important. Mice are mammals, just like you. They say they study all drugs on mice before they give them to humans because mice have the same amount of genes as humans do. And they say, I quote, if you. If it happens in a mouse, it will happen in a human. So this is why they study mice, so they know they could take a chemical called pristine, inject it in a mouse, and then it will create lupus symptoms. Guess what that means for humans. Any chemical that looks like pristine, if you swallowed it, got exposure through your shower, had it injected inside of you in a vaccine, or it was in a cosmetic, a chemical similar to that, they know you’ll develop lupus symptoms.

You’re a mammal, just like these mice. They know chemicals induce these conditions. So once they induced it, they want to see what Nigel Steva oil does. So this is the nerdy stuff. I gave you the highlight statements just a second ago. Nigella sativa oil is well known as a cure for various diseases. Wait, hold up. They say that there’s no cure for lupus. Cleveland Clinic. Nigella sativa oil is well known as a cure for various diseases. Hold up. There’s no cure for any conditions per the medical profession. The Galla sativa oil medical profession is well known, per your medical research, as a cure for various diseases and has been proven to have effects on the immune system by modulating or improving cytokines and trigs, these immune markers.

Then they say cytokines, these inflammatory things such as Interleukin 6, Interleukin 23 and 17, and trigs that take a part in the systemic lupus erythematosis disease process called pathogenesis. Nigella sativa oil has been proven to modulate those cytokines and eliminate organ damage in various diseases, including kidneys. Isn’t that amazing? Well, whether or not you believe the drugs for lupus cause kidney failure or organ damage or you believe lupus does it, it doesn’t matter. You should be on Nigela sediv oil. They’re telling you it protects the kidneys and other organs from being damaged or diseased. The present study is the first investigation that evaluates the effect of Nigella sativa oil as an immune improvement for renal tissue prevention in systemic lupus erythematosis.

If you have lupus and you’re on drugs or not, you should be on black cumin seed oil. It’s in our biodefense in this study the design was a randomized post test only control group design. The the drug induced treated mice were developed within 16 weeks after a single injection of pristine. So this chemical they injected, they waited 16 weeks and they developed lupus symptoms and each of the mice fulfilled the Systemic Lupus International Collaborating Clinics criteria. The mice developed alopecia which is a lupus symptom arthritis which is a lupus symptom characterized by swelling of two or more joints and increased anti DSDNA autoantibodies.

They found the autoimmune antibodies also in the mice’s blood. Now they are lupus mice within 16 weeks. These mice were then divided into four groups which are categorized into a healthy group that didn’t get the drug and three treatment groups. The treatment groups was a placebo with sodium so they gave the chemical and then they gave them just sodium for 28 days. Sodium is Na salt. The steroid group got prednisone after the chemical and that they were given that for 28 days and then there was a Nigella sativa group. So they injected the chemicals, waited 16 weeks and gave them Nigel acetiva oil or black cumin seed oil extract for 28 days.

So what happened? The interleukin 6 expression in the Nigel sativa group is significantly lower than any other group which is similar to another animal study. Other in vivo studies in animals or humans showed TQ in total quality or whatever that TQ is in Nigela sativa oil is able to inhibit tumor necrotic factor induced interleukin 6 production, another inflammatory marker for lupus and black cumin seed oil reduced the expression of interleukin 4, 5, 6 and tumor growth factor mRNA in the rat model of allergic airway inflammation, bronchitis, COPD and asthma, the galasativa group showed the lowest expression of the inflammatory marker interleukin 17 compared to all the other groups which are consistent with studies conducted in non lupus diseases.

Also, the study showed that Nigelisativa group had the lowest expression of the inflammatory cytokine or immune chemical called interleukin 23 compared to other treatment groups which was supported by another research study done in 2016 for Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. For eight weeks Nigella sativa oil decreased the expression of interleukin 23 and transformed the growth factor. And in this study the absolute number of trig in the Galisteva group was higher than the placebo which is better at reversing autoimmune inflammation. And then in the study of pediatric children with systemic lupus erythematosus showed that kidney damage is one of the most common manifestations.

Well, you just learned all of the top three drugs given cause kidney damage. The degree of kidney damage was based on ISN RPS classifications of lupus. Nigella sativa oil groups showed a significantly lower grade of kidney damage compared to the steroid and placebo group, Steroid being prednisone. It shows that Nigella sativa oil can prevent kidney damage better than steroid treatment does. That’s because the steroid causes the kidney damage, not lupus. Nigella sativa oil group showed significantly lower autoimmunity than the placebo group. These results suggest that the administration of Nigela sativa oil may reduce the kidney inflammation caused by autoimmune mechanisms.

You’re welcome. Ask your rheumatologist if Nigella sativa oil in our biodefense is right for you. Because if you like less inflammation, it is and less kidney damage from your drugs or lupus. Either way, whether you blame it on the drugs or blame it on lupus, I don’t care. Nigela sativa oil protects your kidneys from failing. Nigela sativa oil group shows significantly higher CD34 cells compared to the placebo group. The results showed that Nagalacetiva can prevent the number of CD 34 glomerul capillaries decreased caused by the autoimmune process. It prevents the autoimmune process. Nigela sativa does. The Nigella sativa group is significantly higher in CD34 cells and resulted in lower autoimmunity than the steroid and placebo group.

Okay, do you have autoimmune antibodies showing up in your blood work? Do you have positive ANA in your blood work? Any of you with lupus, you might want to get on the GALA Sativa oil. It prevents it. In conclusion, Nigella sativa oil medical researchers define can be consumed swallowed as the complementary medication for systemic lupus erythematosis. It has been proved to improve the immune system by reducing the expression of pro inflammation responses of specific inflammatory markers called interleukin 6, 17, 23 and increases the expression of trig significantly which help reduce inflammation in the body. Nigela sativa oil also can prevent kidney tissue damage in this drug induced lupus model.

Ask your doctor if Miguel Sativa is right for you. All right, next natural solution for lupus science summary. We’re going to be talking about selenium, one of my favorite minerals on the planet, also found on the periodic table of elements. And you’re going to see here, this is a research study I’m going to highlight from 2024 and they’re going to discuss the beneficial effects of supplementing 200 micrograms of selenium, which is the exact amount of selenium in one of our selenium capsules at naturewinds. All right, now before I dive into the nerdy science that might be overwhelming to you, if you want to fast forward past that when I start diving into that, let’s just read some of the most amazing conclusions of this scientific nerdy study.

Quote in line with our findings, a small case control study conducted on 62 teenagers showed that individuals suffering from lupus had significantly lower selenium levels than healthy controls. So those without lupus had higher selenium, those with lupus had lower. A systemic review revealed a positive correlation between low selenium levels and higher levels of specific antibodies in systemic lupus erythematosis patients. So these autoimmune antibodies that are attacking your DNA, they’re higher in people who have lower amounts of selenium. And the last statement from this research study, I’m about to dive into all the nerdy science I’d love.

Quote we found that supplementing with selenium could notably improve the stress markers of the patient’s suffering from systemic lupus erythematosis. Regardless if you’re on the drugs forum, regardless if you’re trying to do it all natural, doesn’t matter. Selenium helped everybody. And here’s the research study found on Research Gate. So here we go. Selenium and systemic Lupus erythematosis. A double blind randomized control trial from 2024. The present study showed that supplementing with selenium significantly lowered the amounts of the inflammatory marker in lupus patients called CRP and MDA while elevating glutathione peroxidase and TAC levels. Glutathione helps is the most powerful antioxidant to reduce inflammation.

Moreover, the intervention proved selenium proved beneficial in regards to the clinical manifestation of the disease. When they took selenium, the clinical manifestations of joint pain, red rashes on their face got better. So clinically they looked better, felt better, reported they were doing better with selenium. A small case control study conducted on 62 teenagers showed the individuals suffering from lupus had significantly lower selenium and glutathione peroxidase levels than healthy controls. Selenium is used by the liver to make glutathione. You cannot make it without it this is why I always recommend selenium to anybody with any inflammatory disease.

A systemic review revealed a positive correlation between selenium deficiency and higher levels of specific antibodies in systemic lupus erythematosus patients. And in another observational study recruiting 111 patients, 100 of lupus and 118 controls who didn’t have lupus whose selenium consumption did not differ. They found that the higher selenium intake, those who supplemented with selenium or ate high selenium rich foods like Brazil nuts, there was an inverse association to the presence of atherosclerotic plaques in the systemic lupus erythematosus groups if they took selenium. If they supplemented with selenium or ate foods rich in selenium, they had less atherosclerotic plaques in their arteries, which is a common risk factor for systemic lupus.

A study in healthy volunteers assessed lipid profile, cholesterol profiles and inflammatory markers after a single intake of 20 grams of Brazil nuts, showing its significant effect on lowering levels of inflammatory immune markers called interleukin 1, interleukin 6, tumor necrosis factor alpha and interferon gamma from one day eating 20 grams of selenium rich Brazil nuts. So if you want to lower your information inflammation, I don’t care what the disease is, you should be on selenium. Which is why I take selenium every day. It’s just one capsule, super easy. If you don’t take the capsule, open the capsule and pour it in your smoothie, mix it up and swallow it, you don’t have to swallow the pill, who cares? Just put the selenium in there, you need it.

Or eat 20 grams of Brazil nuts. To get the same amount of selenium, you’ll be eating a lot of Brazil nuts. In vitro studies have shown that increased selenium availability leads to impaired differentiation and maturation of cells called macrophages that kill cancer cells and kill infections like parasites, bacteria, fungi and parasites and inhibits optimal B cell activation. Selenium proteins have been found to significantly reduce the number of B cells in the body. And since overaction of B cells produce autoimmune antibodies like in lupus that cause tissue damage in lupus patients, reducing their overall number is a sure way to decrease the complications.

Overactive B cells inside lupus patients causes the increase in autoimmune cells to attack you. And selenium turns off the overproduction of B cells to fix your immune system. Lupus patients, you might want to Supplement selenium. Ask your rheumatologist if selenium is right for you and if they say no and they say why would you even ask me that and what is selenium? You share with them this PowerPoint so they can learn along with us. The beneficial effects of selenium on autoimmune markers have been seen in other studies. In a six month intervention group in which 200 micrograms which is in one capsule of our selenium supplements were given to patients suffering from cervical in their neck intra epithelial cancer.

Cervical, sorry, that would be cervix probably in your females. MDA levels have been significantly reduced while TAC levels were risen. Aside from improved metabolic profile, the intervention also led to the regression of the tumors in the cervix. Ask your oncologist if you have cervical cancer which is only caused by what? Human papillomavirus. If you develop cervical cancer, is your oncologist recommending selenium? And if not, I guess they haven’t read the research. In a study conducted on women suffering from PCOS polycystic ovarian syndrome which there’s millions even more of those around this country. Please share this with your loved ones.

Supplementation with selenium resulted in decreased levels of the inflammatory markers CRP and MDA. Finally, a multi study analysis comprised of 13 clinical trial studies have shown that selenium supplemented could significantly reduce stress on the human body caused by oxidative stress by increasing glutathione peroxidase levels and tac. The present study showed that supplementation with selenium could notably improve the clinical manifestation of the diseases, namely alopecia and arthritis which are both lupus symptoms. These results could also be ascribed to the general anti inflammatory effects of selenium. Other literature has also confirmed that oxidative stress could be strongly associated with androgenic alopecia hormone caused alopecia.

High levels of blood stress markers such as CRP C reactive protein is what that stands for and the subsequent inflammation are widely recognized in the onset, progression and exacerbation of arthritis which is tied to lupus. Lee and his team Li and his team reported that supplementing with selenium reduced the degree of articular cartilage irregularity and knee joint stenosis in mice. If you have rheumatoid arthritis, gout or lupus osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, you should be on selenium. The whole reason why you’re being told your knees need to be replaced, your hips need to be replaced is because of the articular.

Articular means where two joints come together. The cartilage in between has irregularity, inflammation, decreased joint space, whatever it is, tearing, whatever calcification of selenium reverses it. So simple, one capsule a day. Just do it. In conclusion, we found that supplementing with selenium could notably improve the stress markers of the patient suffering with systemic lupus erythematosis. So ask your rheumatologist today if selenium is right for you, because it is. Now we’re going to dive into one of my favorite amino acids on the planet. It’s in our new Hydrate Complete product. It’s a standalone supplement. The FDA tried to take it away from you and not have access to it in May of 2020 because it prevents blood clots which were big time side effect.

The COVID 19 vaccines I believe was the reason they wanted to take it off the market. Here you go. Natural Solutions for Lupus Sign Summary we’re going to talk about n acetylcysteine at 2000mg. This is a 2023 research study on lupus and N acetylcysteine. Let’s read the highlights of this research study. In case you don’t want to read all the nerdy stuff along with me. I’m about to show you. In the present study, the lupus disease activity revealed a significant decrease 3 months after treatment with N acetylcysteine alone. General mucocutaneous skin, neurological, musculoskeletal, kidney and vascular symptoms.

Cardiovascular showed a significant improvement in the NAC group, which stands for N acetylcysteine. Another quote from this study from 2023. Additionally, N acetylcysteine as an adjuvant, an added treatment for lupus and a precursor to glutathione can improve lupus diseases clinical outcomes. That whole list I showed you from the clinic Cleveland Clinic at the beginning of the show all the complicating things that can happen to your life after you’re diagnosed with lupus. NAC as an added treatment can improve lupus diseases clinical outcomes. It can reduce the likelihood you’re going to develop all of this. In other studies, N acetylcysteine’s benefits in the treatment of lupus have been shown due to its ability to increase the good cholesterol called HDL cholesterol levels and it reduces the incident rate of cardiovascular disorders and kidney failure.

NAC is heart protective and kidney protective. The addition of 1800 milligrams of NAC to the treatment regimen of patients with lupus can improve the outcomes of the disease and decrease the activity and complications of lupus disease. End Quote Lupus Medical Research Scientist Quote 1800 milligrams of NAC treatment added to treatment with patients with lupus can improve the outcomes of the disease and decrease the activity and complications of lupus. It ain’t just hydroxychloroquine, methyltrexate and prednisone or cellcept. No, no. N acetylcysteine can help you. Now let’s dive into the nerdy stuff. Remember, you can fast forward past this if you don’t want to watch it.

But I love the nerd stuff. I’m a show and tell guy. I don’t just quote stuff. I’m going to show you where the science proved N acetylcysteine was this effective, which is found in nature. And a supplement at the doctor already showed effects of inositlcysteine on systemic lupus erythematosis disease activity and its associated complications. And this is a randomized double blind clinical trial study. Let’s see what they found in 2023. In this present study, the lupus disease activity revealed a significant decrease 3 months after treatment with NAC. 2000mg 3 months. They found general mucocutaneous, neurological, musculoskeletal, kidney and vascular symptoms showed a significant improvement.

Not a slight improvement. Significant improvement in the N acetylcysteine group. Oxidative damage Inflammatory damage occurs through targeted molecules and oxidative modular cascade products are associated with disease activity, organ damage from lupus in the drugs and concurrent illnesses in lupus. The intracellular inside the cells antioxidant system naturally provides protection against ROS intermediates and a reduced glutathione dependent in vivo antioxidant system is available. And NAC is capable of boosting this system. Okay, we already showed you selenium. Stay with me. Selenium and N acetylcysteine. If you just supplemented those two things, it goes into your body’s liver. The liver uses selenium and NAC to make glutathione which is the most powerful ant anti inflammatory substance the body makes.

So to reverse inflammation in the body from lupus or any other condition, Selenium N acetylcysteine. The liver needs it to make glutathione. That’s what they’re saying here. It boosts the immune system ability to turn off pain and inflammation. The oxidative stress. The bad inflammation contributes significantly to the development of cardiovascular diseases, which in addition to renal failure and infection, is one of the leading causes of mortality and death in patients with lupus. And I showed you all the side effects of the drugs. Based on the available evidence. Oxidative stress is increased in lupus patients, which leads to immune deficiency.

No, it doesn’t. Prednisone and methotrexate lead to immunodeficiency. They are literally called immunosuppressants. They suppress the immune system. Notice how they spin this stuff in medicine, Organ trauma and fatal illnesses. No, no, no. I already showed you. The drugs they give you for lupus causes death, even cardiac arrest, sudden death. Methotrexate? Seriously? Come on. It’s not lupus. Cytotoxic drugs tend to eliminate autoreactive cells. They’re saying toxic drugs can block autoimmune cells and induce oxidative stress and cell death through the immune system. And suppression of oxidative stress is necessary for these patients. The drugs can kill the cells of their body and organs.

They need help. Additionally, N acetylcysteine as an additive and a precursor to glutathione. Remember, you need NAC and selenium to make glutathione. Can improve lupus disease. Clinical outcomes. A study in lupus induced mice demonstrated that N acetylcysteine prevents glutathione reduction, decreases autoimmune antibody production and increases nephritis frequency. What leading to improved survival rates. Don’t you want people with lupus to survive longer? You might want to give them an AC. Findings of a study on 36 patients with lupus under treatment with NAC showed that NAC could have positive effects such as safety well tolerated, meaning no side effects and positive immune support and therapeutic effects in the patients.

And the doses of NAC were 2.4 grams and 4.8 grams, which is 2400mg and 4800mg per day. The glutathione begins to decrease and disease and fatigue improvement were effective and safe. Well, that’s amazing. In other studies, NAC’s benefits now just, you know, they tell you that glutathione begins to decrease. In that last statement. Do not think that that’s what they’re talking about. Glutathione reductase is what goes down and that is what doesn’t help the body. Glutathione stimulating hormone does go up in other studies. NAC’s benefits in the treatment of lupus have been shown which could be due to increase HDL cholesterol levels, good cholesterol, and reduces the incident rate of cardiovascular disorders and renal failure.

Okay, everybody. If you have low good cholesterol and it’s not in the normal range, you’re learning from this study that N acetylcysteine will raise good cholesterol to protect from heart disease outside of the context of lupus that we’re discussing today. Well, you have Google resin extract that lowers hd. Sorry, lowers LDL bad cholesterol, lowers triglycerides and raises hdl. But if you threw in N acetylcysteine with it, it would actually improve your good cholesterol even more. You’re learning here from this lupus study. This is why I like reading research is I learned all kinds of cool nuggets.

According to the findings of the study in the conclusion statements, the addition of 1800mg of NAC to the treatment regimen of patients with lupus can improve the outcomes of the disease and decrease the activity and complications of lupus. N acetylcysteine added to drug therapies effect should be investigated in reducing the dose of the treatment regimen of immunosuppressive drugs in these patients. What they’re saying is if you have a lupus patient, medical doctor, and they’re on methotrexate, plaquenil, prednisone, cellcept, if they’re on any of those, you should add N acetylcysteine and it should be investigated to find out if it reduces the need for those drugs that suppress the immune system.

The researchers are telling you we need to start investigating whether or not NAC can replace some of the drugs you’re on for lupus. This is a second study on N acetylcysteine and this one’s much more nerdy. But there’s actually, and I’m not going to read all of it. You can read it. I think the first one gave you enough. But N acetylcysteine reduces disease activity of lupus by blocking what’s called MTOR in T cells of lupus patients. There’s a direct correlation to the amount of T cells upregulated in the autoimmune factor and inflammation for lupus patients.

And they already found that N acetylcysteine reduces disease activity by reducing and blocking mtor, this pathway for T cell production. So I’ll just read a few of these here. The few sections of this paper this double blind placebo controlled phase one pilot study provides evidence that N acetylcysteine is safe and tolerated by all systemic lupus erythematosus patients up to 2.4 grams a day. I recommended in the science summary slide 2000 milligrams a day with reversible nausea and 33% of patients receiving 4.8 grams per day. The low glutathione stimulating hormone in the lupus model but not in whole blood suggests that the metabolic dysfunction in lupus is confined to the immune system and N acetylcysteine increased glutathione stimulating hormone, the good glutathione that reduces inflammation and pain in this lupus model and most importantly it improved disease activity in the systemic lupus erythematosus patients through a newly identified molecular mechanism.

It disrupts the MHP MTOR pathway in T cells. That’s all you really need to know. That’s how it blocks worsening inflammation, pain and disease processing of lupus. So ask your rheumatologist if they know about the MHP MTOR pathway in T cells and lupus and did they know that N acetylcysteine blocks that pathway to reduce pain, inflammation and worsening disease outcomes? Since MTOR is a sensor of this pathway in oxidative stress in lupus T cells and and its blockade by rapamycin, a drug was associated with improvement of disease activity in systemic lupus erythematosis patients. Blocking of MTOR may be critical for the mechanism of action by N acetylcysteine since they used a drug that blocks that pathway and improves systemic lupusthematosis and we know N acetylcysteine does the same thing.

That’s probably the critical mechanism N acetylcysteine uses to improve lupus outcomes similar to the effect of the prescription drug rapamycin. Suppression of MTOR by NAC was accompanied by increased FOXP3 expression and these results suggest that the effect of NAC on the immune system is number one cell type specific and two it occurs through disconnecting activation of MTOR from the elevation of this pathway in lupus T cells similar to the effect of rapamycin. NAC, an over the counter supplement you get at the Dr. Ardis show, has the same effect as the prescription drug they use for lupus patients called rapamycin.

Then I want to show you I mentioned earlier at the very beginning of this that parasites I found in 100% of all lupus patients and rosacea patients this is Lupus Research Alliance. This guy’s going to talk about bacteria in the gut. Which bacteria, fungi and viruses can be considered parasites because they feed off of you, a host. But that’s not what I’m referring to when I say parasites in this lupus perspective. Bacteria in the gut may be a cause of lupus and flares show studies supported by Lupus Research Alliance. So let’s see what they’re talking about.

Pieces of bacteria that escape from the intestines may trigger lupus and associated disease flares in some patients, according to a new study partly funded by the Lupus Research Alliance. These findings may allow disease treatment with probiotics or diets that alter the mix of bacterial species in the intestines. The thousands of bacterial species that live in our intestines affect our health in many ways, often for the good. The balance of bacteria called flora in your bowels is misaligned in people with some autoimmune diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease and rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, suggesting that certain combinations of bacteria may promote these diseases.

Patients with lupus produce immune system proteins known as antibodies that attack their own DNA. Dr. Silverman and his team found that these antibodies also target a specific bacteria called Ruminococcus navus. They also determined that the intestines of patients with lupus were leakier. Leaky gut syndrome, which could allow the bacteria or fragments of them to escape into the body. Once that’s happened, the immune system may respond by producing antibodies that might mistake the patient’s own DNA for molecules made by the bacteria. These antibodies would then attack organs such as the kidneys. Remember, kidneys are affected by the drugs every patient’s put on for lupus.

So I just want you to see there is a connection to the bacteria. This is why biodefense is so important. If you have lupus, you should be on biodefense, not just because of the Nigella sativa information I showed you earlier in this presentation. That is the second by volume ingredient in our biodefense. But the combined ingredients from plants, organic plants, wipes out all disease causing bacteria, fungi and parasites. So you just saw that Lupus Research alliance found a connection to disease causing bacteria in the gut getting into your bloodstream. You should be on biodefense at a minimum.

Now this is the Mayo Clinic. They published this. Toxoplasma infection and systemic lupus erythematosis is mimicking lupus cerebritis, inflammation of the cerebral part of the brain. Alright, toxoplasma infection is a parasite. And I’m going to show you this. I mentioned earlier all lupus I’ve ever found is actually caused by parasites. So here the Mayo Clinic is referencing that there are some people diagnosed with lupus that their symptoms are coming because of a parasite in the brain of these people. An opportunistic infection is known, although under diagnosed. Yeah, that’s for sure. In lupus patients. Complications of systemic lupus erythematosis.

A 48 year old woman with a recent diagnosis of lupus was admitted to the hospital because of a fever, a confused state and convulsive episodes, seizures. Her symptoms were interpreted as being compatible with lupus cerebritis, lupus of the brain. Treatment with methyl prednisone resulted in a temporary improvement in the patient’s condition. Let’s keep learning what else happened after they gave him the drug. During the next few weeks, while being on the same drug called prednisone, her physical and mental condition deteriorated and she died of massive pulmonary emboli. Do you remember I showed you. That was a side effect published by the FDA of prednisone.

This wasn’t caused by lupus. Okay, but the person died of pulmonary embolism, just like I showed you as a side effect. An autopsy revealed no signs of lupus cerebritis. Lupus. Inflammation of the brain, however, disseminated cerebral toxoplasmosis. Brain worms was found. Cerebral toxoplasmosis is a rare complication of systemic lupus erythematosis that may be misdiagnosed as lupus cerebritis. Well, I want to show you that I’m not just calling it a worm just for fun. Cerebral toxoplasmosis, by definition reads, is defined as a parasitic disease that causes brain involvement. Now, in the research paper titled Seminars in arthritis and rheumatism, which all lupus patients go to a rheumatologist and arthritis is a part of their symptoms.

Visceral lycomeniasis mimicking systemic lupus erythematosis. Do you remember I showed you at the very beginning of this presentation? 46% of you are misdiagnosed as having lupus, when in fact you just have these other infections. Lyskomoniasis. Another one of those. All right, so let’s dive. Systemic lupus erythematosis is an autoimmune disease that may present manifestations that resemble other diseases like visceral lycominosiasis, which is a parasitic infection whose hallmarks mimic systemic lupus Erythematosis. What? I thought parasites didn’t exist in America. Wait, could possibly 1.5 million Americans actually have parasites that mimic systemic lupus erythematosis symptoms? Visceral leukomyoniasis is a parasite invades the blood, attacking every organ in its path.

If left untreated, it leads to death in 95% of patients who have symptoms. Now imagine that. Imagine your loved one dies of symptoms they put on your death certificate of lupus. But they actually were diagnosed with lupus because they had symptoms that were being mimicked that looked like lupus, that were just symptoms of butterfly rash and joint pain caused by this parasite that gets in the blood called visceral leckomoniasis. The literature search identified 53 eligible studies, but only 17 articles met the researchers criteria. Among these, 10 lupus patients with visceral lecaminiasis mimicking an s systemic lupus erythematosus flare.

And 18 cases of visceral lichomoniasis parasite leading to unappropriated suspicions of systemic lupus erythematosis was described. So they went through all the public medical literature and they were like, oh my God. We also found this in 18 other cases where people said they had lupus when in fact they had a parasite. The most common manifestations in patients infected with this type of parasite were intermittent fever, pancytopenia, visceral megaly organs are enlarging and increased blood levels of acute phase reactants. The most frequent autoimmune antibodies were ANA antinuclear antibodies caused by the parasite that they diagnose everybody with systemic lupus erythematosis.

In if you have systemic lupus erythematosis, your doctor did blood work and said your ANA was elevated, which stands for antinuclear antibodies. This parasite causes autoimmune antibodies called antinuclear antibodies, not lupus. The parasite does. It also increases something called rheumatoid factor to show up in your blood too, which then allows you to be referred to a rheumatologist for rheumatoid factor and causes a direct Coombs test, which is important for lupus diagnosis. This is what’s amazing in endemic areas, those that don’t have a lot of water, sanitation areas for visceral, like a maniasis, the diagnosis of lupus or its exacerbation may be a clinical dilemma.

Hepato meaning liver, spleno meaning spleen, liver spleen enlargement or isolated spleen enlargement. I said at the beginning of this, every lupus patient I’ve ever seen in practice had an enlarged spleen caused by parasites. They know this. And when the spleen becomes inflamed, you get a red rash on your cheeks called rosacea. As that infection gets bigger in the spleen and the spleen gets larger, you get this bigger rash on your cheeks called a butterfly rash. You’re welcome. So liver enlargement, spleen enlargement, or isolated spleen enlargement was identified in the majority of the reported cases where visceral lycomaniasis occurred, leading to unappropriated suspicions of systemic lupus erythematosis or mimicking a systemic lupus erythematosis flare.

If you have been diagnosed with lupus, you have parasites, damn it, and you might want to treat them. I just want to remind you, this is the Lupus foundation of America 2017. A study reveals shockingly high rates of incorrect lupus diagnosis. 46% of you are incorrectly diagnosed. Another 54% of you aren’t even told you have lupus and they think you’re just crazy. This is our biodefense product, Nigella Sativa Oil. I’m highlighting there because I highlighted as one of the research studies in here for lupus, selenium at 200 micrograms was the exact dose they gave to everybody to improve lupus outcomes and protect the kidneys and liver from failure from the drugs being used to treat lupus.

There’s our selenium. Here’s our N acetylcysteine. Remember we said 2000 milligrams, so one capsule is 750 milligrams. Can you do the math? It’s three. Do three capsules a day if you have lupus and you’ll see your life transform. If you have lupus and have been diagnosed with it and you’ve not yet done a stool sample test, you need to go to the Dr. Ardis Show. Hover over, shop all you’ll see. Parasite treatment. Also, selenium is found in our new hydrate complete. I would be drinking that every day. I drink two of those every single day. One in the afternoon, one in the evening. Every single day. I will for life. 75% of all human beings in America, Ama says, are chronically dehydrated and suffering symptoms from them. And 90% of every hospital admission every day, every year in America is caused solely and directly by the effects of chronic dehydration. Dehydration is just not water. When you lose water out of your body from diarrhea medications or sweating, minerals follow water. Vitamins follow the water out of your body.

So do amino acids. And there’s only one hydrate complete on the planet. It’s got the 40 essential nutrients you lose in every drop of sweat. Selenium just happens to be one of those.
