I want to tell you about a West Springfield, Massachusetts, licensed to carry holder in, obviously, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, who is now facing 12 counts altogether, 5 counts of possession of illegal assault-style firearms, which there’s no such thing, and 6 counts of untraceable firearms, again, no such thing, and 1 count of improper storage, which violates the Heller decision. Now, this case originated when law enforcement and cops were serving a protection order that was later dismissed, so it was on weak standing anyway. Now, this case also showcases many of the problems facing lawful gun owners in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and other states after the passage, in this case, of Massachusetts’ most recent anti-gun law package that they have entitled Chapter 135, which was passed in 2024.

Here’s the narrative. On March 30, 2026, at approximately 20-25 hours, Sergeant Latino Officers McCarthy and Kennedy and I, Officer Sweeney, arrived at 97 Almond Ave to serve an abuse prevention order, docket number 2644 Romeo Ocean 000108, to Samuel Lockus. Officers knocked on the door, and it was answered by Lockus himself.

He was advised for the reason of our presence, and provided a copy of the order. Per the court order, Lockus was informed he must surrender his license to carry card, which was license number 134-911-39-alpha, as well as any and all firearms and ammunition. Initially, he did not wish to comply, and did not want us to enter the house. He became nervous, and began to sweat, which was noticeable to myself and Officer Kennedy. After speaking to him, for some time, he agreed to lead us to the area where he stores his firearms. Officer Kennedy and I entered the house, and proceeded to an upstairs bedroom.

Lockus opened a closet door, which revealed a gun safe. He also informed us that he kept one pistol in his dirty clothes bag next to the closet. I retrieved this loaded Glock pistol, which was not in a locked container, or properly stored, first before Lockus opened the safe. Officer Kennedy then began clearing the firearms, and handing them to me. We recovered all of the firearms listed for Samuel Lockus, in sieges as followed. That’s the criminal justice information system. A Glock 19.9, a Glock 43x, a Smith & Wesson bodyguard 380, a M&P 9, a Kimber 1911 and 45, a Glock 23.40, a Glock 42.380, a Glock 19.9, another M&P 15 and 22, an Arrow Precision X15 and 5.56.

The Arrow X15 had an unpinned adjustable stock, a pistol grip, a flash suppressor, a threaded barrel, and accepts detachable magazines, which makes it an assault-style firearm, in violation of the Massachusetts Assault Weapons Ban. In addition to the above-registered firearms, we located several frames and receivers in the safe. These are as follows. Three completed AR-15 lower receivers with no serial numbers, and three completed AR-15 upper receivers. Two of the upper receivers are less than 16 inches in barrel length, one being 7.5 inches, the other 10.3 inches, that are easily convertible into three complete working rifles. One completed Polymer 80 PF940SC frame without a serial number, and one completed Glock-style slide that is easily convertible into a complete working pistol.

One AR-9 lower receiver with no serial number, one milled but uncompleted AR-10 lower receiver with no serial number, one CCA-MCK Glock chassis. Since the three AR-15 lower and upper receivers are completed and easily convertible into working rifles, they would be considered assault-style firearms and in violation of the Massachusetts Assault Weapons Ban. They feature pistol grips, collapsible stocks, flash suppressors, muzzle brakes, threaded barrels, and accept detachable magazines. Furthermore, the two upper receivers that are under the 16-inch barrel length requirement would be considered short-barreled rifles under the National Firearms Act. Also, the Gun Control Act of 1968 required all firearms to have unique serial numbers stamped or engraved into the frame or receiver.

Lastly, while removing the firearms from the safe, we located various types of ammunition, magazines, some loaded and others unloaded, as well as four knives. One of the 556 magazines is a 30-round PMAG, which is considered to be a high-capacity feeding device capable of holding more than 10 rounds. This is in violation of the Massachusetts Assault Weapons Ban, and it should be noted that PMAGs were not manufactured until 2007, and this magazine was seized and tagged as evidence. The knives, remaining magazines, and ammo were tagged for safekeeping. Pictures of the upper and lower receivers, as well as the 30-round PMAG, were tagged in this report.

Given the above facts, I’ll be filing a criminal complaint against Samuel Lockus for the following charges, and I told you those charges, but let me say this. Good job, you four cops. You made a name for yourself. Must feel good violating someone’s rights. Must feel real good to be someone who’s just doing their job. I will say that the serial number issues, they’ll have issues with that, right off the top of my head, because Massachusetts General Law requires you to put that number on there within a year of completing the frames and receivers, so do they know when he completed those? Interesting.

They didn’t even put that question in the report. Good job, detectives. Now, in response to this blatant violation of civil rights by these Keystone cops, Jim Wallace, the executive director of Gun Owners Action League in Massachusetts, said this. Folks, this is a brand new case happening only a couple of short weeks ago, but stuff like this is exactly what the Founders warned us against, and exactly why our Second Amendment was enshrined in the Bill of Rights. It’s a check on government power. It is a check on tyranny. It is a check on a body of government legislators that are decentralized and afar from the people, and they don’t answer to the people anymore.

And I’ll say this one more time for those in the back. None, not one single unconstitutional and illegal law that infringes upon our civil rights, our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, and to defend ourselves will ever impact a single citizen in this great country if the police, if law enforcement in this country stopped enforcing unconstitutional laws. Grow a backbone. Officers and sheriffs, listen closely and pay attention. You have discretion. You do not have to enforce unconstitutional laws just because your sergeant, your lieutenant, your captain, or your politically appointed chief of police have a hair across their ass and want their face and pictures in the headlines.

The time is fast approaching, where you will either be part of this country and the fix, or you will remain part of the problem. And if you are on the job and you have a problem with what I’ve said or how I’ve said it, have the stones and throw it in the comments section below. I would love to hear you all, not all, I mean, the number of people who do this who violate rights are smaller than you would think, but I would love to hear you defend your actions in violating someone’s civil rights. I don’t think many of you will because you know that you’ll be targeted for a lawsuit.

Now, good on goal for pointing this case out, guys. I will report on every single change in the status of this case along the way. It’s not going to be settled immediately. It is in one of the most unconstitutional anti-gun states in the nation. It is in the worst circuit court. The first circuit is the most anti-gun circuit. You will lose every case. You’ll have to go to the appeals court, you know, en banc, full court. You will lose that and you will have to go to the Supreme Court. So it’s going to take money to do that.

So support those that support you. Stay armed, stay safe, and stay free. This, this is what they want to turn this country into. A bunch of Gestapo taking orders to disarm the public. You have to ask yourself this.
