While laying off thousands is now at it again. So you have first wave of layoffs, next wave. And this isn’t going to be just a Facebook Meta story. Over this summer, you’re going to see so many people laid off. You’re going to see trucking companies closing down, especially the small ones. You’re going to see all kinds of stuff going on because of inflation, higher fuel costs, all kinds of stuff. And remember, the higher fuel costs aren’t inflation. Trump says that crap’s fake. The Facebook and Instagram owner will lay off about 10% of its global workforce or close to 8,000 employees in that initial round as it swaps headcount for GPUs.

See what’s happening. Do you remember I had this guy, somebody, he’s not a subscriber. He’s not very bright. My subscribers are amazing. They get it. He goes, look, the economic ninja was wrong. I am a coder and I still have my job because I got a paycheck last month. Like, well, stand down, Tonto. Like, calm down. It’s coming. You’re probably going to be gone pretty soon. And it’s funny because those news stories are out there and the data of the sheer amount of coders that are no longer in existence. We’re talking, it is just absolutely phenomenal how many people have lost their jobs.

And it’s sad, but at the same time, it’s like you could warn people all day long, go, hey, something’s bad. You know, things aren’t good. Inflation can go up so much before people stop spending and then businesses have to lay the people off and they just don’t care. All right, look, we’re going to keep this short.
