I’m going to side with Luke Cornett. We can be, I, Magic City, everybody has the ability to do whatever they choose, spend their money, how they choose.

But the NBA, the brand, the logo, like they’re, let’s just say this, I think that the NBA can partner with whoever they choose. But I understand what Luke Cornett is saying, especially at a very delicate time. And, you know, you talk about women’s rights, but women’s rights is also, you know, the ability to go do that, right? To be on Playboy, to, to allow that’s what that empowerment movement has a portion of. That’s not all of it. There is a portion of that. And so to look at this and say like, Hey, we want to do it, there’s going to be kids at the game.

Gentle, like, again, these are things that like five, six, I just think that to me, if I’m taking my kids, my nine and 11 year old kids, that’s, that’s not what I want to be introducing my kids to. That’s just me. I can respect somebody else’s opinion without arguing with them. What you do for your kids is different than what I do for my kids. But for me, personally, I would not take part in that. I understand what that is. I don’t let my kid watch PG-13 movies, you know, so, but that’s, these are nine and seven, nine and 11.

Right. They, but my point is more of this, how you choose to spend your dollar, what you would choose, but do I think that the overall brand of the NBA should be having gentlemen clubs nights. That’s 1970s basketball, right? That that’s what, what was the Will Ferrell movie? Tropic Thunder. That’s not Tropic Thunder, the one, the Tropics, but what was the name of that movie? Semi-Pro. Look at you. Holy shit. Look at you. For the first time ever. That’s Semi-Pro. Guys smoking, literally guys are smoking cigarettes, drinking, talking about, hey, our sponsorship is the magic city.

That’s old. I think we’re above that. That’s just me. Everybody can have their own opinion. I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with it, but I don’t think that it, it aligns with the brand. That’s my opinion. My first question to Luke Cornett would be, has he ever been to magic city? That would be my first, that would be my first question to him. No, seriously, have he ever experienced magic city, right? And my thing is, my thing is we could go down the line and we could take a lot of things away if we’re going to get technical.

Like it’s, it’s been with one of those called intro songs to games or whatever. That’s, that’s, that’s intro music of gangster rap. Do we want to dive that deep? When people think of Atlanta, they think of magic city, not just because it’s a gentleman’s club, but people think of wings. People think of food. They serve food there. That is the culture of it. You know, I think that perk has been hitting on all cylinders when it comes to his NBA takes, who he thinks is and the best contention and all of that stuff.

Perk has been on fire, in my opinion, not being able to speak the truth when it comes to the NBA. Kendrick Perkins take right now is absolute hogwash in every single way that you can think of. Perk is speaking about it from an excuse my language, a nigga’s perspective. Nobody thinks Atlanta. Oh shit. Got to go get some magic city wings. Not any regular people. That’s not, that’s not normal. That’s not what a 13, 14 year old, that’s not normal. What is wrong with him? Man, well, you, when you think, when you think of magic city, you think you’ve got to think of the wings.

What are you talking about? When I think about going, I fly to Atlanta, probably 10, 12 times a year, 10, 12 times a year estimated. I probably go to Atlanta most of the time. Guess what? I never think to go to magic city. I never think, I’m just keeping it 100. I never think to go to magic city. This is not, this, that’s not what everybody think of when they just decide they want to go to Atlanta. What the fuck is wrong with the culture? So now we taking family friendly events. If somebody decided that they wanted to go to a Braves game and a lot of Braves game, you know what? Amen.

I’m about to go to Atlanta. Let’s hit a brave game while we hear. Are you thinking that they, they, they doing that in concerted effort with making sure that they want to go to magic city too? Oh man, you just hit every single cylinder. She says, when I hear about Atlanta, I think black people gaze in a busy airport. I hate Atlanta’s airport. I hate Atlanta’s airport. If there’s always a delay going through Atlanta, every single time, every single time there is a delay, every single time there’s a delay. Right. And like, again, I get it.

Somebody could have somebody, somebody could have a totally different opinion. Excuse me. And I never, Richard, you parent your kids is probably not the way that I parent mine. And I’m not saying, and look, no real talk. And I’m not saying anything is wrong with that. I’m just not the one that I don’t live under a rock and I don’t live in a bubble. And I know that it’s, it’s 2026 and that if you don’t have, or you’re not able to keep it real with your children and expose them to the real world with the access of the internet and things being out, they’re going to get exposure from somewhere else.

That’s this sound crazy. He’s using parenting skills and what your kid should and shouldn’t be exposed to at, because Richard Jefferson said his kid is nine and 11. He’s using parenting as justification for a family friendly event to be celebrating, promoting magic city. Oh my God. Jesus, Lord have mercy. Listen, y’all. Listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen. As degenerate as we are, as we become as adults, because all of us have some form of degeneracy in some way, shape or form, right? As degenerate as we are. What do we try to do? We’re trying to hide the world from our kids, but we’re trying to teach them how to be better adults because the goal is supposed to be, we want your kid to be better than us.

We know that our kids are going to have regular grown people, adult problems on a regular basis, but what do you do? You try to talk to them about it. You try to prevent them from falling into the same traps that we fell into, right? That’s the whole idea of being a parent. It’s not that they should be able to do the same thing that you did because you did it is that you want to teach them not to do it because you don’t want them to go through the same bullshit that we went through.

And this world is already overly sexualized. So now we go on a family friendly events. This is the same thing that I was complaining about when it came to movies and when it came to sitcoms, right? I hated the fact that I could never find a sitcom, even my favorite, my favorite series of all time. My favorite series of all time to wire. I hate the fact that they had to make one of the main villains gay. Why did Omar have to like boys? Why do you have to like me? Why did that improve the storyline? Absolutely not.

What the series have been just as good if Omar didn’t kiss a boy. Absolutely. There is no series. There is no sitcom. There is no movie where they at some point don’t try to put some kind of propaganda in there to condition us. That’s what we used to complain about. I used to complain about this shit all the time. Like, damn, I can’t watch nothing. Just nothing wholesome where they just show regular stuff. You know what? You know what’s so funny? So, for example, Desmond, one of our resident trolls that come in regularly, we love our trolls.

We love the chat. Chat lives matters. Desmond says, no fool. You love hoes. Facts. We love the hoes. That’s a fact. I suspect Desmond that you love the hoes too. Don’t let the suit fool you. These niggas be the worst ones. Don’t let the smooth suit fool you. Don’t let a nigga that’s taking a picture like this fool you. Them niggas is the worst. They the worst ones. All day long. All day long. These are the worst ones. They can’t wait to go in a conference so they can go and trick off on some hoes out of town.

Right? But here’s the thing. Let’s say you grew up in the hood or let’s say that you got this perspective or let’s say you grew up in a drug investment environment or let’s say you grew up around gang culture. What do we want our kids to be? We want our kids to be nerds, to be wholesome, upstanding, to be, to love, to love God and to be wholesome human beings. Anybody that wants their child to do the same thing on the things that they wasn’t the best at to go down the same path is a fucking degenerate parent.

The degenerate parents. We cooked. We cooked as a culture anyway. It don’t even matter. The kids part of things. I don’t, I didn’t like, yeah, we joke and we laugh about it because people who didn’t been there, which is probably majority or a hundred percent of the guys that they played in the NBA because I’ve been there. You know what I’m saying? I didn’t been there. Yeah, I didn’t got the approval. My wife knows that I ain’t hiding shit. I’d have been to Magic City a few times when I touched down in Atlanta.

Damn it. I couldn’t win in Atlanta because I was in Magic City. See, that’s why you shouldn’t be there, nigga. Okay, I was in Magic City. But what I’m saying is, I disagree. It’s a big problem. I don’t think it deserves a protest. I don’t. I think it’s their culture. And that’s just why I stand it. Well, real quick, I’m not going to dispute that. Again, you have sports betting, right? Shout out fanatics. You got I don’t, I don’t agree with sports betting. Or at least the promotion of it. I don’t believe that we should be promoting it to people in mass.

If that’s what you want to do as an adult, if people discover it on their own as an adult, that’s cool. But goddamn, it’s being pushed on every single platform in every single way possible. I don’t agree with that either. We was having that conversation last night. We was having that conversation, like, man, I can’t take my kids to a game without them saying and go on FanDuel and all of this other shit. Sportsbook. You got Viagra pills, Cialis pills, you got all these things that they are pumping on every commercial and all the like, they’re selling boner pills on every commercial.

And then they’re going to get mad that Atlanta that they have, they’re literally selling those. That’s what they’re selling. They’re selling those pills. And then people are I get, I get it. I get it. Right? I’m just that every pod is promoting sports betting and they paying bread. I’m not. Up to this point, I have successfully resisted and said I am not interested in any way, shape and form. That’s how I don’t understand how y’all don’t realize that it’s some real ones left. It’s still some people that got integrity. It’s still some people that if they believe in something, regardless of whether you agree with them or not, they stand for something.

Some of us still stand on business. Some of us don’t. Now it’s maybe some other things that you may disagree with me on. But as far as that is concerned, I don’t believe in pushing that in the culture. I didn’t got a ton of even in the art force is bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. And I just can’t, I can’t, I can’t in my mind, in my mind, personally, I can’t justify it. And I know that every single platform, every single podcast, anybody that got some motion is pushing it. I don’t honor.

I just can’t, I can’t, I can’t, I can’t, I can’t, I refuse. I can’t do it. I can’t do it. Shout out to AI Desmond. That for me personally, I’m not sitting up here. They do it. I’m not going to like boycott Atlanta. I’m not just feeling like, but do we need it? That’s just my opinion. But somebody that’s from the South is like, no, Magic City is a staple. It is a historic cultural place. And look, a lot of music has come through there. A lot of music, like there’s a lot of things.

I know Magic City just isn’t that there is a lot of things that happened through the movie. Make work clear. Desmond, what is it that you know about me that I don’t know about me? Because see, listen, I don’t deal in rumor. I don’t deal in rumor. I don’t give a fuck about what a rumor is. All this is proven to me, Desmond, is that you a gossip girl, just like everybody else. You’re not a real nigga. You dealing with a rumor. Anybody can pay anybody out to be whatever they want them to be.

The truth is still going to be the truth regardless. Listen, show me, show me somebody that got a picture or any show me anybody, show me one person in the world. And again, I stand on this shit. I’ve been standing on this since the beginning. You can do as many live streams. They can do as many podcasts. They can do whatever they want to do. There’s not one person, not one in the world. Not one woman in the world has ever, ever in life, ever in life can ever say that Anton from AntonDaniels.com has ever did anything with them.

Not one, not one. Not one. It just is what it is. So you listen, we could, we could sit here and say whatever’s on and so forth. Nigga, I’m pure as the white driven snow. If Atlanta people are not complaining, who should we to complain? Channing. Man, listen, you just don’t do something like that and not run that through Adam Silver or the NBA. So the way they must have had there. Desmond, I expected warning you, but I see you sassy just like everybody else. Shout out to all of the sassy men. Shout out to all of the men as gossip girls. I love it. They’re meeting and said, hey, we have this deal. We’re going to do a one-night so-and-so with Magic City. The NBA goes, are you sure? And Atlanta goes, yep, that’s what we’re going to do. And NBA goes, okay. So listen, if the NBA okayed it, who am I? Like none of my business. I don’t live in Atlanta. I have ate the wings before, but like this next is wild. The fact of the matter is I don’t believe that we should be promoting supposedly family-friendly events in any way, shape, or form.
