Now, if you were told what you normally get could be increased by a thousand or two thousand dollars more in the coming months, what would you do with that money? A lot of money. So, once again, it’s not that people’s wages are going up, it’s that they are given the opportunity to deduct more things. Now, some of those things are a higher standard deduction, a higher cap on state and local taxes, which is salt, which is great. I mean, I love that. And deductions for an additional six thousand dollars for seniors.

So, it’s funny as I sit down and I get stuff sent to me now, the older I get. Do you know that I can ask, because of my bad back, I can ask for things like to board a plane early and things like that, which I’m like, I don’t do that. Well, you’re just an old man. It’s funny, I was talking to the people at the Angels today about my tickets and my parking. And I have a specific area that I like to park in because it’s fantasy land. And anybody who’s ever been to my tickets knows that.

And it’s just great and close. And you can basically lean against the stadium. It’s so close. But the older I get, things like that make a difference. And you hear about a six thousand dollar deduction for seniors. You’re like, when does that take effect? So, it’s funny, discount shopping, discount movie theaters, all that stuff makes a big, big difference. So, the no tax on tips and no tax on overtime. It’s going to be interesting to see if some of these states actually pull that. They’re talking about New York City saying, oh no, no, we’re not going to have the no tax on tips.

Could you imagine if a state did that? Those politicians would be done right now. All you want is more money right now. That’s what you want. You want to not pay, you know, you want to have a winter that’s like this. It’s cold here in California and it’s in the 60s right now. You want weather like this and not have to pay an extra 25 percent more on your heat in an air bill, which we all have to pay. You know, it’s just crazy right now how things have gone up through the flipping roof right now.

So, let’s hope this works. No tax on car loan interest if it’s an American car. And one thing that’s great is you guys like chat GPT and things like that. I have a brother who’s very, very good at that. And when I bought my latest car, one thing that he did because, have you done it yet? Have you put it into chat GPT to find out the problems with your car? I’m like, no, I’m working, okay? So, he did it for me and he said, oh my gosh, the year, everything you chose is the perfect model for that because they’ve had the least amount of recalls and it’s such a great car.

And I even thought about doing that. It’s a great suggestion. But once again, you know, I had a tax appointment. I do a couple of them a year. And I had another one where I brought gifts for my accountant and the staff. And I wanted to make sure that I was doing well and was told, gosh, you got to pay a little more, Dan. So, it’s going to be nice to see if in fact, I do have to pay more. And if in fact, 2026 will net people all these refunds.

Now, just a quick video today, but a couple things that just came across my desk that blew me away. And a woman and her partner won a lottery. They ended up with eight million dollars each. What did she do? She gave four million dollars to her family. And that, instead of from gratitude, went to entitlement and giving somebody four million dollars. Imagine if you give someone four million dollars and they’re not happy, they’re pissed off. I mean, think about how insane that is. And I am telling you this right now and I’ve told you guys this before.

If you ever win money or you land a big contract or anything, keep it quiet. Keep it to yourself. Don’t tell anybody. You know, it’s the Walter White Breaking Bad Principle. Wow, can you believe they’re going to the year up again? Yeah, I can. Because they saved their money. And Walt had cancer and now he doesn’t. Oh, it was also an international meth dealer. But anyways, it’s a story for another day. But the point was, was that you don’t tell people what you’re doing. And then to give people four million dollars, read the story because it’s insane.

It just it really upset me because I think about, you know, I spread things thin with people, you know, during Christmas. I go out and get Christmas gifts. You guys send me stuff. And I mean, I love everything that you send me from the simplest note to coffee money to people that send me here’s five dollars. Go have a cup of coffee and think of Jack. Okay, the people that send me the calendars and the gifts and everything you guys send and Jesse and I know what Jesse did this year. Jesse sent me a little box of trinkets and things that were printed on the the digital printer so that I will put it in the background of my video inside the studios.

So Jesse’s gonna win on that one. But I appreciate all this stuff. But again, it’s the simple things that do it. Now, somebody wants to give me four million dollars. Come on. Imagine being ungrateful for that. That’s insane. One thing I get a kick out of is all this airline talk. Southwest Airlines has a real problem because they’ve said enough is enough with overweight and girthy gals and big dudes. And that is if you are so big that you can’t put both of the armrest down, you got to buy an extra seat.

No more giving an extra seat. Hey, you got to accommodate me because I’m a fat ass. That’s done. It is finished. So you got to buy a separate seat. And people are saying, is this discrimination? No, it’s not. Lose weight. New Year’s resolution. I sat there once and I flew to Dallas and I was so pleased because I’m thinking, the stewardess told me, oh there’s just one other person come in and I’m like, oh my god, we’re gonna have all this room. The guy was massive and literally cramped me so much on the aisle seat that I thought I was going to die and had to be pushed into the aisle.

He was so big. So there’s that. So people are upset about this. I think it’s funny. What do you want to complain about? I’m gonna start telling them I’m old so I can get in the plane earlier. Is that bad? I think I said fat ass in there too. Okay, you guys will tell me. Anyways, water bottles, if you drink water bottles, you are more likely to have 10,000 more microplastics in your brain monthly over other people. Okay, well let’s not drink bottled water then. God, I just read that story.

That’ll be enough to knock you into sobriety of no more, you know, I’m not gonna swear of drinking water. Plastic bottles. Oh my god, I was like, what the heck? So, you know, there’s that. And I love stuff like this. Rexing Company out of Massachusetts was shipping some lobsters. And they had $400,000 of the lobsters this last week stolen. They were hijacked, didn’t go to the destination. Oh my gosh, can you believe that? Isn’t that nuts? Okay, so you get $400,000 of the lobsters. Gone, they vanished. Some mob bosses having a big party for, oh, I’m sorry, alleged mob boss just having a big party for New Year’s Eve.

But I love stuff like this. Read the story. Do you think it’s an inside job? The FBI has no arrests and nobody, any suspicious people. So, between leaving the logistics company that sends it to the restaurants, it gets hijacked. $400,000 of lobsters. Now, earlier this year, Guy Fieri, Guy Fieri, you know, my main man Guy from Caesar’s Palace. That guy with his $70 chicken sandwiches. Anyways, that guy had 24,000 tequila bottles ripped off. His little hijacking was a million dollars. One million dollars for the merchandise stolen and gone. How often does this happen? It’s got to happen a lot.

And people don’t know about it. You know what I’m saying? It’s like, oh gosh, it just didn’t make it where it was supposed to go. Nobody believes that. Nobody believes that. Read the stories below.
