Hey, it’s Dan. Welcome back to I Allegedly. And I’ve got a good one for you today because I am at the Elks Club in Santa Ana in their annual car show. And there is a lot to talk about. First things first, our budget deficit that we have been told, you know, that we owe $37 trillion is a joke. It’s much, much worse than that. So, $37 trillion, guys. Isn’t that crazy? And, you know, but the problem is they did a report from the heartland that was issued in March. And the March report is now just being disseminated where people are saying, wait a second, this is much, much worse. All of our bills, $37 trillion, we’ve got to get this under control.

Wait a second. We’ve got a couple things that no one’s taken into account. And the first one is $15 trillion for federal employees, their pensions, and veterans benefits, which we have to pay, guys. These people should be paid first as far as I’m concerned. But veterans benefits are, you know, a huge, huge problem right now. $15 trillion are owed towards that. Then you’ve got the unfunded liabilities. This is the worst part, guys, unfunded liabilities, Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. The thing that we may never get. Think about this right now. We are upside down, okay? I want to get this figure out for a total of $105.8 trillion right now.

$105.8 trillion. Well, why isn’t that put into the budget? Why aren’t we giving the real number of $151 trillion? $151 trillion is the real national debt. That is insane, guys. That is absolutely, you know, it’s just, it’s monumental. It’s bankruptcy kind of thing. The United States is bankrupt, guys, without a doubt. So how do you get around that? You don’t. You don’t get through that at all. There’s music that way. Someone will go there a little later. But again, guys, think about this. Think about how bad this is right now. And we’re not being told this.

There was a report issued in March that Elon Musk says everybody should read this. And I’m like, you know, all he was doing is spouting off during that time. So I didn’t really grab attention to it. When the news came out yesterday about this, I said, well, where’s that Heartland report, which I got a copy of for you guys, and it’s in the video description. And you can read it, but it was talking about how, wait a second, this is far worse than anybody ever anticipated. So can we get through this? No, I don’t think so.

I think it’s time to admit that we are completely upside down, completely bankrupt. You know what blows me away when you go to these car shows? Look at this car show. They’ve got all this stuff put together like the Austin Healy’s here. Look at this. Look at this beautiful car. Isn’t that insane? That is just stunning. That is, I mean, the windshield doesn’t do anything for it. You’d have to wear sunglasses prior to that. Isn’t that cool, though? It was at a music festival yesterday, and Doug came by, and I got to take a picture with Doug. So let me show you that, and his lovely wife. But it was nice. They were visiting from Florida, and went to the same music festival and came up. But here’s the thing, guys. There’s times I’m like, gosh, is anybody paying attention? And then Doug had sat down and said how they changed their finances, didn’t buy a new car, bought a used car.

I’m telling you guys this right now. As I’m selling my vehicles, you’re not going to get top dollars for your cars right now. Those days have passed. Now, things like this, I’m sure I’ll walk through here and see vehicles for sale here, but not everybody can afford it. Nobody can afford to maintain a vehicle like this. But regular used cars right now, guys, it’s very easy to get a good deal out there and find something that is going to be reliable without having to deal with the recalls of Ford and GM.

I mean, it’s an absolute disaster, absolute disaster with those companies. Ford stock, we talked about this, that’s at 10 bucks. What’s going to happen with it? You think they’re going to be in business? I’m serious. I could see a merger of these companies. I could see a big automaker going out of business. But let me know what you think about this. Did you know about the unfunded liabilities? I mean, it’s crazy, absolutely crazy that we’re seeing these numbers upside down like this, and nobody talks about this. Unfunded liabilities also are a huge problem with the banking industry.

You have so many people out there that have products that they have signed up for, and they have loans against that are completely upside down. This is going to, you know, there are trillions of dollars in that area, too. You know, it is anticipated that Bank of America has almost a trillion dollars, like $880 billion in unfunded liabilities. Again, things are at a loss if they sold that they would be upside down on. Watch margin call, guys, because it gives you a perfect example of how bad things are. So let me know what you think about this so far.

I can’t stand when people have their privacy violated in any way, shape, or form. The Sacramento Public Utility is getting sued right now because they should think about this. 33,000 energy reports against its customers over the course of the last couple years talking about how people use too much energy. They pinpointed basically 86 percent Asian families. Isn’t that kind of weird? Isn’t that awful? Even though the 86 percent, the Asians only represent 16 percent of the community in the Sacramento area, but they’re saying, wow, there’s really an excessive amount of energy use.

Think about this. They may have family members that live there. They’re upset about certain people that say that they have medical equipment inside the house. Well, if grandma’s on a breathing machine, my mom lived on that. Lisa lived on that. I mean, I saw that firsthand. So for them to do this is ridiculous. So the Electronic Frontier Foundation is suing them, rightfully so. Now, here’s the next thing. Smart meters like this, they’re saying that they’re surveilling everybody through their smart meters. I have a smart meter in my house. It’s turned off, guys. I can adjust the thermostat any way I please.

And I keep getting emails and letters sent to me. Wouldn’t it be great if you could take full advantage of this? No. It’s none of your damn business. There are days in the last two months I’ve had the heat on because it’s been really cold outside. The doors have been open and that’s how I want to live. Think about that, guys. There are days in the wintertime when the air conditioning comes on and it’s nobody’s business. What the temperature of my house is. None. None whatsoever. City of Oklahoma City just announced that they have a new AI program to surveil people through facial recognition.

And they’re getting sued. People are upset because they issued this contract and the city council approved it seven to two. But they didn’t tell everybody who the company is that’s doing this. Why is the police gathering this information? Now, Oklahoma City has its own problems like any other big city in the south or Midwest and they have a problem with this with drugs and different thefts and things like that. But do you want your privacy stolen from you? You know, your data taken, facial, your photos taken? No. But who’s using this information? They’re not telling you that.

So, again, your privacy is violated. A man wrote a great letter, story is below, where he worked for a company. And he got another side gig that paid him $3,000 a month. And he worked remotely for these people. So, all of a sudden, he got a new boss. And the new boss insisted that he starts answering phone calls and you know, checking in every hour on the hour. And he said, wait a second, this is not what I signed up for. I’m an independent contractor. So, he got let go at midnight one night. He goes to check in and realizes credentials have been blocked.

So, what did he do? He said, wait a second, you know, you guys wanted me to be answering to all this stuff. I guess I was an employee during this time and turned them into the local EDD, their employment development department, like we have here in California. He turned that in to them. And what did they do? They just went after the company. So, you want to be vindictive? Somebody treats you horribly? They’re going to get theirs, guys. They’re going to get theirs. But again, the surveillance of America, surveillance of everybody.

Whether it be a job or whatever. Another good one was a woman lives in a one bedroom apartment in an apartment building. And what did they do? They took some yenta that they thought, well, we’ll put her in charge as property manager. So, what did this 70 plus year old woman do? She lost her mind. And with that, she went out and started to harass everybody. Your music’s too loud. I can smell the food you’re cooking. Don’t do that. Think about that. How insane is that? So, with that, it just got worse and worse and worse.

So, the surveillance got worse and worse and worse. And again, people do this just to give you a hard time. And again, I hated living in an apartment. During my divorce, I had to live in an apartment. My kids and I had to go through that. It was awful. Absolutely despicable to go through that. And what we’re seeing is this happened more and more and more. But the landlord thought it was funny to put this old Karen, as they called it, in charge. You can read the article below because people are just freaking out over this.

It’s too much over and over again to have this surveillance done to you and have your privacy taken. What do you think about this? Again, do you have a smart meter? Remember in Texas, three years ago, when they had that cold spell and they shut people’s heat off. I never want to live through that, ever, ever, ever. There’s no way I would ever put myself through that. Now, the surveillance is only getting worse. When it comes to banking, we’ve talked about biometrics, which is your thumbprint, your eye print, palm print, your blood type, all that stuff being used against us for signing into our bank accounts.

And I’m telling you guys, this is only going to get worse right now. Sam Altman from Chat GPT fame. He wants to have a world ID, guys. Everybody has to register. OK, we’ll pass, Sam. Again, weirdo. No, I mean, I like the technology, but I have a problem with the dude. Does that make sense? The guy’s a weird dude. And I’m sick of guys doing stuff like this. So do you want a global banking ID for you, for everybody? No, pass. Have some anonymity, OK? So what do you think about that? I think it’s terrible.

It’s absolutely terrible. One more labor thing that’s kind of crazy and funny at the same time. So factory worker, you can read the story below from Cheeseburger, the blog site, which I find fascinating. And what they did was they came up with the fact that there was a factory that expected their employees to be there eight and a half hours a day. So you don’t get paid for half an hour of that work. So one of the workers says, well, pass. You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to hang out for 30 minutes, not work the press, not work the machine, and not do anything until that 30 minutes is out.

Oh, you’re going to get fired for doing this. You can’t fire somebody for this. So again, guys, these idiots that run companies like this, that do things like this, they wonder why they get their brain sued out. So many people have gotten problems with overtime and with different things like that. My son got called into a meeting recently where they said, listen, you guys are overwhelming the kitchen. You’re doing such a good job selling everything that you need to tone it down. And my son was like, can you believe the guy that said this? It’s like, slow down what we’re selling right now.

Slow down what we’re selling, OK? So it doesn’t get too busy in the kitchen, you know? Increase the kitchen staff. Do something to make it so you can sell more food, sell more steak, and surf and turf, as he said. So let me know what you think about this. But again, this is where companies get their brain sued out, and everybody thinks that they’re smarter than the last guy. I’m telling you, if you work someplace and you’re in HR and you don’t have a labor attorney, that you can ask questions to, you’re stupid.
