Are you aware the FBI stopped a 9-11 style terror attack? Are you aware that the man accused of this attack was born here in the US and lived in Houston, Texas? Are you aware that ISIS had gotten this person to the point where he was ready to commit terrorist attacks here in America on Americans? I wasn’t and I’m probably willing to bet you weren’t too, so let’s talk about it. On November 8th, FBI agents apprehended 28-year-old Anas Saeed at his Houston apartment, according to an announcement that happened just a couple days ago from the FBI Houston.

They announced this on Thursday. Now Saeed and his brother were our employees of Pizza Patron on Eldridge Parkway in Houston, so if you’re familiar with the area, where he was the person who made the dough for the restaurant. US Attorney Almdar Hamdani said that although Saeed was born in Houston, he spent a significant time, almost two-thirds of his life, in Lebanon where his family resides. Now court documents indicate that several social media accounts linked to Saeed contain posts suggesting he supported ISIS and its violent activities, and the Department of Justice revealed that law enforcement searched Saeed’s residence, his vehicle, and electronic devices, uncovering evidence of his involvement in creating and spreading ISIS propaganda.

He was making videos for them. I’m gonna tell you what else the DOJ and FBI said about this, but first I want to thank the sponsor of the video. That’s Lear Capital. Alright, let’s get into this because this is big news that most people probably didn’t even know about. During a press conference, the FBI Houston special agent in charge, Douglas Williams, said, we’ve taken a suspected terrorist off the streets of Houston.

He noted that Said had been on the FBI’s radar. Tell me if you’ve been happy for. Since 2017, due to his frequent consumption of ISIS propaganda online, Said allegedly admitted his intent to use explosives for mass attacks in Houston and even expressed a desire to join the US military to carry out an act of terror from within. He reportedly told an undercover agent that he planned to infiltrate the military and detonate an explosive belt to kill US soldiers. Said said, quote, if I did, it would be very easy. I would shave my beard and hair, put on a military uniform for camouflage and go inside and push the button.

Everything will turn into grilled meat. That’s allegedly what he said and that’s quoted in court documents. Now authorities also discovered files on Said’s laptop detailing how to manufacture various explosives. The Department of Justice also said, the US citizen created propaganda videos for ISIS recruiting purposes and had a strong distaste for US military personnel who fought overseas against Muslims. Anas Said is charged with one count of attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization to wit ISIS and is currently in federal custody. He faces a maximum of 20 years in federal prison if convicted.

Now I think this is big news. I think this most people should know about this. Are you aware it even happened? Were you aware that the FBI and DOJ had a big press conference Thursday and telling people that they stopped a potential 9-11 style attack? Why wouldn’t this be all over the place? Hmm.
