So, this is the first lawsuit of a new group of 16 anti-gun states that have formed a coalition with the intent to work together to sue gun manufacturers out of business. They’re doing this as it’s getting closer to the end of the Biden administration here and they realize that they are potentially, potentially heading into an administration that will be less in favor of gun control.
Like I said, potentially. So, these states have formed together and they’re going to launch lawsuits in each other’s state and back each other up monetarily and legally and this first one, like I said, is against Glock. It’s being led by Matthew Placken who’s the Attorney General of New Jersey and he’s being joined by the Attorney General of Minnesota. This is the first page of the lawsuit here and what they’re taking Glock to task legally for is, get this, they say in this lawsuit that Glock is knowingly manufacturing and distributing into the states, specifically here in New Jersey.
I found some web results. I can show them if you ask again from your iPhone. I didn’t even say the magic word. They’re always listening. But they’re saying that Glock is knowingly selling and distributing convertible machine guns, readily convertible machine guns and they’re saying that because Glock knows that there is a product on the market that we know is called the Glock switch, that Glock should undertake a multi-million, maybe billion dollar change in design and tooling of their firearm so that it doesn’t accept this Glock switch. They know nothing about how guns work, which this lawsuit is readily apparent.
So because Glock sells guns that Glock switches can go on, they say Glock sells readily convertible machine guns and they’re going to sue to destroy the readily convertible machine gun distributors and manufacturers. Here’s a quote from these two Ask Clown attorneys general. I wanted you to see it so you can giggle a little bit. With this lawsuit we are putting the homemade machine gun industry out of business. For decades Glock has knowingly sold weapons that anyone with a screwdriver and a YouTube video can convert into a military-grade machine gun in a matter of minutes.
And this is Attorney General Matthew Plattkin of New Jersey. Glock’s ownership sits in Austria lining their pockets with profits paid for by American bloodshed fueled by their products and we are sick of it. Our message today to Glock is clear. The days of putting greed ahead of the safety of our residents and law enforcement officers are over. And like I said earlier, the filing comes on the same day that New Jersey announced the formation of a multi-state coalition to hold responsible firearms industry members accountable for their devastating impact on gun violence.
As part of that effort Minnesota also filed a suit against Glock today. I am suing Glock for knowingly manufacturing and selling handguns that can easily be converted into machine guns, said Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. Glock’s actions and their inaction violate Minnesota law and put kids communities and law enforcement in danger. This has to stop. Today’s lawsuit against Glock is about protecting our kids and protecting the guardians who look out for us. Attorney General Plattkin and the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General are great partners in this effort and I thank Attorney General Plattkin for his strong leadership in keeping residents of our states safe.
Alright Jared, what states are in this coalition so maybe we can start putting the word out in our state which is what I want you to do. How can you get this to more people in these states? First off, like this video. It takes a second of your life. Subscribe to this channel. It takes another second. And turn that bell notification on to all notifications. If you love the Second Amendment, I put out information just about every single day, sometimes multiple times a day. So if you turn that bell notification on, you’ll get notified of when I put out new content or go live which will help the gun community that is ever growing by the millions actually know what’s going on.
Here’s the states. In addition to New Jersey and Minnesota, the other states joining the coalition are California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, which is not a state, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Those states have joined together to knowingly violate the United States Constitution. So if you live in those states, even though it might be a mostly red state, your attorney general is going to use your tax money to violate your Second Amendment. So you should probably let them know what you feel about that.
Here’s a list of some lawsuits that these states have done here within the last three years, four years. So you can pause this if you want to see more. And what are they ultimately looking for? Like I said, they want an injunction against Glock so that they cannot sell or distribute firearms to gun dealers, FFLs in New Jersey and Minnesota, selective enforcement. Again, we know what the Constitution says. We know what our Second Amendment says. But the key here is to let other people know who believe the BS, maybe they have just converted how they vote, and now they vote for Republican leadership because they’re sick of the wokeism, but they don’t know what’s really going on in our community, which is why I ask you to share the video.
Post it in places where you go regularly, and some of us people might not be in those. So you can spread the word. Like, subscribe, share. I love each and every single one of you. I’ll see you on the next one. And as more lawsuits come out from this 16-state coalition against the gun industry, I will let you know. No word from Glock that I saw. Yeah, we’ll see. Got a new leadership starting in, what’s today’s date? I don’t know, in four weeks. So a lot of this stuff could get tossed out of federal court if Pam Bondi does what she’s supposed to do when she becomes the Attorney General.
That remains to be seen. Take care, y’all. [tr:trw].
